Maddy smiled up at him, her face still a dark red. "Aidan, would you like to stay for dinner?" She asked, not wanting to say what was really on her mind.

"Sure Maddy. I'll call my parents to tell them in a minute." He said smiling to her as he thought of someway to get her from blushing still. Though, he didn't really expect to not blush when he did that all of a sudden.

Maddy smiled wider as she turned away and skipped to the stairs that led up. She knew her mother was up there somewhere, unpacking some boxes. "Hey mom, Aidan's staying for dinner." She hollered up the stairs, finally being able to stop blushing.

Aidan watched as Maddy left and hesitantly pulled his cell phone from his jean pocket. Quickly he dialed his mother's phone number and waited for her to pick up so he could ask her.

She turned away from the stairs, not waiting for a reply. She then slowly walked over to Aidan, seeing him on the phone.

Aidan had already told his mother about how he was going to stay for dinner at Maddy's. All he heard as a reply was, 'Well, yes you can go bu-' before he hung up and slid the phone into his pocket again. Then, turning, he saw Maddy and nodded to her. "I'm staying."

She smiled at clapped. "Yay. Then before dinner you can help me unpack some boxes." She said, giggling as she grabbed his wrists and lead him upstairs.
