" Fallon? Hi..." Kacey said, staring at her phone as if she were staring into Narnia for the first time. " So I was wondering...What are you up to? I just went by your old apartment in Seattle and everyone said you hadn't been around lately." She said, pushing her hair out of her face.
" What part of PIZZA does no one understand!" Emmett yelled, sitting down on the sofa and turning on the TV. " Baseball time..." he muttered, finding a good game.

Jake's head snapped up at Emmett's voice. He chuckled. "Looks like one of you're uncle's has brought pizza for the wolves." He breathed into Renesmee's ear. He didn't want to get up, but he was hungry. He stood up, picked Nessie up cradling her in his arms, and ran walked towards the kitchen. He walked a little bit slower when Emmett yelled again and laughed at Nessie's puzzled expression. He bent down and kissed her forehead before walking into the kitchen, and sitting down at the table Nessie still on his lap.
Renesmee struggled out from under Jake's arms at the repulsive smell of the pizza. She didn't want him to feel hurt so she quickly said, "I need to go talk to my mom. I think now would be the best time, so you can eat. She leaned in and kissed his cheek then walked towards the cottage. On her way there, she tried to think of the best approach. Should I knock? Should I tell her sorry, then explain? Or should I just go in and give her a hug.... She quickly decided to do the last one right as she walked into the cottage. She walked straight to her parents bedroom. The door was open, and she saw her mom lying on the bed. What have I done.... She asked herself. She walked over and placed her small hand on Bella's back. "Mom?" She whispered and waited for her to respond.

Bella had stopped sobbing and was trying to relax. She heard her daughter walk in and touch her gently. "Hey hunny" she said pulling her daughter to her.

Renesmee sobbed into her mother's chest. "Mom..." she whispered. "Mom I'm so sorry.....I just missed Jake so much...I really needed to be with him." She sobbed harder. She couldn't believe she was hurting everyone.

Bella held her sobbing daughter and kissed her head. "Hunny It's ok.. I just feel I'm losing you." She said softly. sShe shushed and cooed her daughter gently to comfort her.

Renesmee couldn't believe what she was hearing from her own mother. "How could you think that mom? You're never going to lose me! I'm here, and I always will be. Today was the first day in months that I've seen Jake. I'm sorry I really wanted to be with him, but you and I have forever. You're not gonna lose me mom!" She whimpered now staring at the floor, still unable to understand why her mom would think that.

Emmett laughed," I knew it would get someone's attention. Jacob- you seen Rose anywhere?" He said, looking around then focusing back on the baseball game. " The Bears are getting owned ssssoooo bad."

Jake shook his head and responded with his mouth fool. "Laft I thaw thwose, she fwas pithed at me." (Last I saw Rose, she was pissed at me.) He swallowed and laughed. His thoughts wondered to Renesmee. He hoped she'd be able to make Bella understand. He felt bad for being gone so long.

Bella sighed.. "No, i'm sorry Nessie I just... I don't know" she said holding her daughter. "I'm just sorry, I love you and I don't want you hurt or anything." she said softly she was so protective of her daughter and it was hurting her.

Renesmee sat on the bed and laid her head on Bella's shoulder. "I just missed him so much mom...I thought he was never going to come back...and then he does, but everyone but me hates him.....how am I supposed to live with that?" She whispered as a tear slipped down her cheek.

Bella felt terrible. "I know and It wasn't that I hated him. I hated that he didn't call and that he hurt you." she said softly.

Nessie sighed and laid down on the bed, burying her face in the pillows. They weren't as soft and warm as Jake's fur, but they'd do for now. "I know...I hated him to at first....for going in the first place....but when I saw him, the hatred disappeared....he was gone too long for me not to be furious, but just to see him again...was enough to make me happy. I missed him so much momma....." She started crying again. She hated it. Hated herself for being so weak and crying all the time. Hated herself for hurting her mom. Hated herself for everything.

" Rose is always pissed at you. More so now because you and Nessie are like this-" He crossed his index and middle finger-" And Nessie wants to be with you more than her." He rolled his eyes. " This baseball game makes me want to cry. It's awful!"
