Xeigrich Lily Darling Xeigrich Let's see, I've been drinking Black Jack Colas to keep a nice buzz while I play CoD4. They're just beer, flavored to taste sort of like a Jack & Coke cocktail, but contain neither Jack nor Coke... Been drinking Hawaiian Punch a lot today, too. But this thread is making me crave a rootbeer float. Argh! It's all Amossk's fault. XD If he hadn't mentioned one earlier in the thread... I've been trying to quell the craving but it seems I shall actually have to indulge now. (^_Q) As soon as it's light out and the store opens, I'm gone to get the makings. biggrin I've got a 24/7 convenience store literally right outside my front door, with a nice selection of ice cream and root beer brands. I really can't spare the cash right now, though, even if it's just $2 for a bottle of soda and one of those tiny half-cup sized vanilla ice cream cups. I already splurged on a lot of other stuff and rent is due in 2 days. scream who cares bout rent when you can have coooooola X3

She keeps trying to sneak out to the vending machine outside the leasing office. It's getting harder and harder to catch her, too.... I might have to start setting up booby traps.

Ahh, I know how that goes (sometimes). Indulge yourself after the rent is paid. biggrin I've got a 7-11 round the corner, but they aren't open 24hr. They don't even open at 7 nor close at 11! It's more like, open at 8 and close at 10. XD
Amossk: If he's homeless, he wouldn't enjoy the float as much. sad Lol.

D: Can you get out to yard/garage sales? I got my very first cheap coffeepot from one. It was just a tiny 4-cup maker, but it did its job til I was able to save up for a nicer 12-cup from Walmart. XD The only thing you have to be careful of with used ones are cracks in the carafe glass. I'm not sure how easy they are to replace.

Add cream and sugar to it. Chocolate syrup, amaretto, hazelnut... make it Irish. (^_~) The possibilities are endless. My brother is the same way though. He'll only drink iced coffees. I like those "MooLatte" things from Dairy Queen, especially the caramel one. (^_Q)
Amossk: Good idea. biggrin Or you could try the siphon coffee contraption from Miss Tok's magazine. I have a feeling it will be some type of steamy coffee-maker. Or buy one of these. They were really cheap at my favourite Asian market, and I've had mine for years, before I got a maker. I still have it, and will use it if the power goes out. I think it cost less than $5. You just need a kettle to boil water in (and a gas stove/burner if the power does go out). It can be annoying to have to make single cups all the time though, but whatever works, right? XD

LOL XD Well, I decided to wait til Wednesday to indulge in a rootbeer float, cos I need to do all the shopping then anyway... it didn't make sense for me to go out today just for float ingredients and then go back out Weds. for the rest of the groceries (and rent money order).
