"I feel fine, tired but otherwise good." she said, smiling at him. His concern was touching, and she wanted to make him happy so she was very careful not to use for paw too much and she also was careful to walk where he cleared the path.

Coalan was silent for a while as he thought about his life. He had matured a lot since he had met Lynnea and even had successfully raised two kits with her. He had never expected to be a father and had enjoyed it immensely. He wondered if they would ever have more kits then shook his head. That was unlikely, he thought as he entered the cave.

Lynnea too was thinking of kits, and the fact that she really wanted to have more. She knew that she was a little older now, but she was still plenty young to have another litter or two. As they walked into the cavern, she turned swiftly and licked his cheek softly. "I love you, Coal."

Coalan raised an eyebrow. "I love you too. But what brought that on?" he asked blushing. He straighted and looked at the wall, not sure what he was embarassed about but knew it had something to do with the train of thought beforehand.
