Uh, how about. Editing it to look like a pet from another shop? BD;; *really nervous about this one, well aware of complications*
Also, we only get to keep three total, including ones others color for us?

You can edit it to look like anything so long as its not a character from a movie, book, videogame, magazine..ya know no cosplays allowed. But oc chars are fine, mega edits are fine, heck you can turn it into a naga even! Make it look like a pet you already own..a pet you used to own..your dog..blah..
And yes you can only keep three total, So if you make two and your friend makes you 1 as a gift, theres your 3 right there, if you friend makes you 3 pets then you dont get to make yourself , unless you like..delete the one they made for you but you get the jist.

Hmm..you mean color and edit wise right? Well I suppose so long as that pet is yours, or so long as you have permision from the owner to copy how it looks then sure it should be fine. But yeah you can make it look like a pet from another shop, it doesn't have to look like one from this shop.

I agree with Shini, if you're planning to alter the pet to look like another breedable I'd ask both Omie and the other owner if it's alright. B/C politics tend to be complicated @.@
