Myrr turned and growled. "...Then don't. Walk." she said with a hiss as she spun about, continuing into the woods. "If you really want Kaiser's sacrifice to be worth something, you will stand up, and follow me. Otherwise you would've wasted a life."

 "He's not dead! He won't be dead till he meets my father... Which will be in two weeks. My sister wouldn't be so kind as to kill him before he met my father." she stood up and followed Myrr, "The worst she would do is stick him in the Yukon prison... and she wouldn't be able to do that for three days minimum..." ^3^It Hatched!Please Click it so it lives!

"Lucky him." Myrr hissed as she looked around for a good walking stick.
Finding one, she picked it up and tossed it to Hali. "It's going to be about a week and a half to get to where we're going because we have to cut through forest from here to there." Myrr stated.
"Kaiser or I could do it much faster but you're with us, and I'm not going to carry you. Got it? Good." Myrr said with a sigh as she started walking up the hill they were at the foot of.
Myrr smelled the winds and nodded to herself. "The weather's going to be good... and we're not being followed as best as I can tell..."

Kaiser looked up at the sky and shook his head. Messing with a harness designed for him in his tiger form, he made sure everything was attached securely, before putting it on awkwardly, then transforming.
Sniffing around for the pair's scent, he caught onto it quickly, and trotted into the forest, jingling.

Hali growled and followed Myrr, but swore to herself that she wouldn't speak another word to her. 'Oh, Kaiser and i could make it in less time, but since i have you along....'~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oriana wrote out a message to her father, and attached it to a bird, then released it into the air. "He'll be absolutely thrilled to hear this..." she chuckled to herself as she left her study window and returned to her papers, "Wonder where that Savarti girl went to..." ^3^It Hatched!Please Click it so it lives!

Myrr sensed the unspoken thought. "Hell, even I'd slow him down. It's not so much that 'Oh, you're a royal princess and therefore not used to hardship." Myrr said as she helped Hali crest the hill.
"It's the fact that his preferred alternate form is best for moving quickly through the forest. Even if I were in my fox form it'd take four to five days." Myrr said as she surveyed the land.
"Fair enough? I'd certainly hope so." Myrr said as she started down the hill.

Kaiser smelled the irritation on Myrr and Hali. They weren't getting along that well and he didn't blame them. Myrr was brought up in the opposite circumstances, so she wouldn't have much faith in the queen.
Ah well. Knowing he'd catch up soon enough, he slowed down.

Savarti landed back on the deck, a bit rough as she stumbled on the landing. Afraid of Oriana's reaction after the bad news, she went inside carefully and knocked on Oriana's door lightly.

Savarti entered quietly and shut the door behind, leaning on the door.
"I didn't find her at all, Ms. Oriana. I am sorry." she sighed.

Myrr looked back at Hali as she struggled in her shoes. Stopping when they walked past a rock, Myrr held up a hand to stop her.
Offering a canteen silently, she dug around in Hali's pack when she was distracted. Pulling out a pair of boots that were almost the right size, she sighed. "Here. These'll save your ankles." she said as she took the canteen back.

Kaiser was about a mile away, as he merely walked to catch up to them.

Oriana giggled, "Is that all? Well, I've found the man who took her... Put him threw questioning, and let him go..." she glanced up from her paperwork and grinned, "I also gave him six sets of Hali's favorite clothing, Two pairs of her shoes, And a formal outfit... As well as my little spy. Apparently she wanted to go with him... so, I let him go." she returned her attention to her paper, grin fading to a smile, and said, "Hell, If I'm lucky she'll end up engaged... but I doubt I'll get that lucky." ~~~~~~~~~ Hali sighed and unstrapped her pack. she took the boots and sat on a rock. Carefully removing the heels she slipped them in her pack, and slid her thin foot in the boot. 'A bit big, but it'll do...' She got the second one on and laced them up, "Alright... I'm ready to continue..." she sighed, not meeting Myrr's eyes. ^3^It Hatched!Please Click it so it lives!

"Hey, are you going to be alright?" she asked, crouching to meet Hali's eyes. "I think we can spare the time to have a good cry, alright?" Myrr said, looking away.
"A good cry about what?" a familiar voice growled from the trees. It was quickly followed by a black and grey tiger with an eyepatch and a harness.
The tiger padded up to the pair, nuzzled Myrr's hand affectionately then looked up at Hali. "Your sister is wierd, y'know that?" he rumbled.

"Oh. Well then." Savarti said and slipped out. Walking back to her room, she wanted nothing more then to sleep and go home.

"Auren, there's too many." Alhana whispered. The elven mage whispered behind him. Surrounding the pair were demons. A seemingly never ending horde of them.
"I know, I know. Well, I guess this is it. I always wanted to die in a nice comfy bed but..." Auren hefted his sword, the diamond blade glinting in the dying sunlight.
"How many did we save?" Auren breathed as he focused. "More then enough. Far more then anyone expected, Auren. But I have one more to save."
"Huh?" Auren said as he looked back quickly to the sound of magic.
"Goodbye, Auren." she whispered and touched him, the man disappearing from reality.
The demons pressed in closer.

Auren was thrown into a flash of bright light, and then reappeared... in a chapel?
The soldier looked around, sheathing the massive diamond sword slowly. Looking around, he felt out of place in blood soaked full plate. His normally black cloak had a crimson tint to it.
"...Where am I?" he muttered. Stepping forward and kneeling before the altar, he began praying silently.

Oriana's eyes suddenly snapped up from her papers and at her door. Her nostrils flared and she stormed down the halls. nearing the chapel door she threw them open and looked up to see that the temporary repair hadn't been knocked in. Oriana's icy stare met the man in the chapel and ice began to crawl around the chapel floor, "......... Another lost soul?" ~~~~~~~~~ Hali's heart leapt into her throat, but she held in her emotions. "I-I'm glad she didn't send you to Yukon... " Hali smiled and continued to avert her gaze. 'Thank you Oriana....' she thought as she glanced over at Kaiser with a slight smile, and returned her gaze to the little daisy on forest floor. She was so happy she wanted to scoop Kaiser up tightly in her arms and swirl him in circles, but kept her emotions on a tight leash... realizing who and what kind of people she was traveling with. ^3^It Hatched!Please Click it so it lives!

Auren looked up and looked at Oriana.
"You could say that." he said tiredly as he stood up. His face was hidden by an armored visor as he looked up Oriana up and down. "You can relax. If I were going to fight you, I would've been all over you as soon as you opened that door."
To be more accurate, if she was, she would've found a knife screaming in her direction.
"I am General Auren Shiro, and you are?" he asked.

"If that were my fate, she would've had to have taken me personally. I would not have gone without a fight. Not after last time..." he growled.
Myrr winced and sighed. "That was then, this is now. We've still got a long journey ahead of us." she said as she picked up her walking stick and started on the trail again.
Kaiser rumbled in agreement.

"I am Queen Oriana Drei of Aquious... " she growled, "And you are in my house...." tensing even more she stepped toward him, "So if there's something you need... state your business now, I'm a very busy woman." she crossed her arms and waited for his reply. ~~~~~~~~~ Hali shuffled behind the two, and since they were both looking forward, allowed herself to let down her defenses a little and cry. she felt so stupid for doing so, but for some odd reason she was so glad Kaiser was alive. Maybe because he was the first male to associate with her and not want to have sex with her, But that's no reason to be crying like this... It was then that it became apparent to her that she was developing a relationship with him. And it was very obvious that she was taking it a lot further than he was. her face began to burn up from the startling realization and she did her best to hide her face.
'good god Hali! What have you gotten yourself into...' she thought with a growl, 'you were supposed to get past crushes like... fifty years ago!'^3^It Hatched!Please Click it so it lives!

"Well, Queen Oriana..." Auren said. "It has been a while, hasn't it?" he said with a bit of familiarity. He took off his helmet, and strapped it to his belt. His normally majestic full plate armor, which was designed for siege warfare and the advent of the Long Bow, was dirty, scratched up, and the normally dark silver sheen was tainted red.
That and he had an odor of blood, sweat, and evil about him. Like he had been killing demons.
"I apologize for... intruding on your own home like this but the Agent who teleported me here wasn't paying too much attention." the General sighed.
The general made to leave. He was finally home after having been hired out years ago.

"So, when do you think the Guild Master will return?" Myrr asked Kaiser quietly.
"No idea, Myrr. No idea. To be honest I didn't like the look of that man who came into the Compound that day."
"Feels like yesterday, even though it was three years ago."
Kaiser grunted in agreement. Kaiser looked back and noticed Hali's thoughts on her face and then looked forward. Today must have been an emotional rollercoaster.
For Myrr and Kaiser? It was... a part of daily life.

Oriana froze the chapel doors shut and closed her eyes. she tried to remember, searching through the years in her mind. her eyes shot open and she froze. all the ice in the chapel melted away and she looked at the stained glass window, "You.... From... three years ago?" her eyes began to shake and tears welled in her eyes, "I remember you..." she whispered.

Hali wiped her tears on her sleeve and kicked a rock into a tree and watched it ricochet off into the woods somewhere, 'Why the hell would i cry over something like that... Alright, From now on... you can only cry if you get.... no! no more crying! It's about time you buck up and deal with life! You're not going to be a little prissy princess anymore! It's time to step up and rule along side you sister!' she took in a deep breath and released it slowly, letting her pep talk sink in. suddenly the tears were gone and she caught up with Myrr and Kaiser, but remained silent.

The General nodded and sighed. "Yes, I'm home finally." he said. He wasn't sure if he should go and hug her as he did once before. Their relationship had been somewhat secretive. After all, it would've looked reaaally bad if the Queen was dating one of her military officers. A mercenary military officer, no less.
His shoulder slumped and his heavy armor seemed even heavier, and more oppressive. The mercenary had worn it for decades, it was a second skin to him but now it seemed like the world's weight on him.
Outlined in the light coming from the stained glass windows, he stood motionless, entirely unsure what to do.

"You alright back there?" Kaiser rumbled. He gave Myrr a quick glance to 'go look ahead.'
Myrr sped up and jogged up the path they were taking.
