Ora boarded the star's light, Erica behind her, and Toli holding Erica's hand. Ora still looked something of a mess, her eyes slightly bruised and her arm wrapped in a cast and sling. She gave Eric a nod of greeting. "Thanks for doing this, Chase. There's not a better ship out there."

Eulalia Danae Ora boarded the star's light, Erica behind her, and Toli holding Erica's hand. Ora still looked something of a mess, her eyes slightly bruised and her arm wrapped in a cast and sling. She gave Eric a nod of greeting. "Thanks for doing this, Chase. There's not a better ship out there." Eric grinned, motioning for them to sit down and strap in. "That's what I strive for. So, where's the destination."

Ora took a seat, quickly strapping the belts as did the others. "There is no destination. We're running, we will be chased, and we have to keep three steps ahead or lose the war. We'll know what to do next when I'm contacted by my father."

Das Steube "Ora, Lori. Keep Toli with you in a spacecraft. Never stop moving, never plot a course. Stay near populated systems. The Kore may attack them, buying you time. If this happens, no heroics. Stay to the plan." Xeen's words echoed through Lori's mind as she prepared her latest fighter. It wouldn't carry both her and the other two, not comfortably--there was no reason to stop Ora's call for a ride.
But damned if she couldn't ride escort for them. There was no one better.
Lori took off in silence, pausing only to give a quick, don't-wait-up salute to her compatriots. Out in space, she sent a quick, binary message to the Star's Light. "Coming with. Never know when you need a good decoy or a Smuggler's trick."

Eric nodded slowly, whistling. "Well. I get to play moving target for you all around the galaxy while waiting for a father figure to send you the okay to get me shot at some more?"

Ora smiled as she overheard Lori's message to the star's light. She gave a quick nod to Eric, "more or less. Though I'd never really call my father a father figure, he's a little too frightening for that."
"We should move quickly, I'm sure there will be enemies well on their way."

The Toolness After running out of things to throw and trying to find more projectile Ghost slips off the roof crashing into the ground at the foot of the crowd groaning and mumbling profanities. He rolls over still cursing. The crowd stepped a few feet back, a little afraid of the weird bar-tender, though Syx pushed her way out from the people and walked over to him. She gave him a nudge with her foot. "You all right?"

Eric sent back a quick message: "Stay close. THe Gates don't stay open for long, and I don't want to leave you to get lit up."
He turned to Ora, raising an eyebrow. "So he's more like a jail warden?" He asked, while punching up coordinates, "Magellan, open the gate. After that, select random locations as far as possible away from the last, and jump us to them."

"Jail warden?" Ora asked with a slight chuckle, "no, he's not exactly the type to take prisoners, or keep them alive for very long."
