Mathias was sitting by the fire, staring into the flames. Though his back was to them, he knew Leon and his son were coming. What suprised him was there was a third person with them. A mage, an incredibly strong, young mage. "Welcome, Leon. It's been a while, my friend. Good to feel you and your son's prescence again. Though you have another, I'm curious as to why." He rose off the ground and spun, shadow magic craddling him. Staring at the mage boy, Mathias smirked. "Hello there, Water Mage."

Artemis gasped as the person guessed Alex and his dad's names though his back was turned. Then his jaw dropped when he felt his prescence AND what his element was. And to see this person rise off the ground with shadows around him really freaked him out. "Could..could you be Ma..Ma..Mathias?!" He said, shaking at the thought of meeting the man he heard so much about.

((OOC: I'm a liar. This is my last post. XD))
Aura dodged her brother's whip, leaping over it as nimbly as a deer, and Engela informed her son, "Don't forget to spread up! She shouldn't be able to jump over it that way!"
Instead of blocking his magic the usual way, she turned it back at him with a thread of her own power in it. That was rather an advanced technique - it was unlikely they would have to know it - but she wanted to be sure they'd seen it. The rumors she'd been hearing worried her.
Although she intended to go find Mathias if he wasn't home fairly soon - and since she had a good idea of where he was going, he was certainly going to hear about trying to leave her behind - she would have time to catch up. For now, she wanted to stay with the twins. Just in case.

Einon grred as his sister leapt over his whip. Nodding at what his mother said, he sent a pair of larger whips at her from two different directions. When he felt his mother redirect his magic he grimmaced. She had never fused the two together. It took almost all his concentration to block the current of his mom plus his own shadow wave. He had to spin out of the way still to avoid a few streams of energy.

Stella went to shadow to shadow with her mask,she giggled as her mask hid her face and she was doing some more killing with each turn. "Akilling akilling akilling i a go!!" She sang to herself as she then skipped around the dead bodies stopping for a bit.

((ahh the gang's all here how i've missed these =) i loved the last great war)) Leon smiled at Mathias "he's a friend of my son's Mathias" he smiled at him Alex wondered how this man knew him and Leon said "you met him as a baby Alex but we all decided it would be a nice idea to keep ourselves spread out" Alex nodded to his father and turned to Mathias and smiled "its a pleasure to see you again" Leon asked "so how close are we to our target?"

Stella giggled more as she slowly turned into smoke for the fire in one of the dumpsters as police came to the scene,her mask near the bodies. "AGAIN?!" Screamed one,they knew the mask well for she did this every Thursday and each time somewhere near the police station..she tried not to giggle as she floated there among the real smoke.

Mathias smiled at Alex. "You are a splitting image of your dad, my boy." Turning to Leon, Mathias nodded. "You and Vix made a great son. When are you gonna bring your daughter with you? I'd very much like to see the hellion she's become." Looking over the mage, Mathias nodded and raised his hand, which glowed black as shadows swirled around it. "The boy has an impressive bit of skill with water. Perhaps one of the strongest Water elementals I've ever met." Turning back to Leon, Mathias smirked. "Always straight to business. Come, sit, I brought some venison, quite delicious." Mathias motioned to the fire where three more shadow chairs appeared.

Artemis just stared in awe at the shadow mage. Totally unprepared, he raised his staff when Mathias's hand glowed and had shadows around it. Only when he saw that Leon and Alex weren't' doing anything did he lower the staff. His face flushed when Mathias praised his abilities and quickly sat down in one of the chairs and took a piece of venison, smiling and chomping away.

((just some Red Empire remnants nothing major but Leon is going to get badly wounded near death but Mathias will save him from dying))
Alex sat next to Artemis and also chomped away with the venison he smiled at Mathias he seemed a nice guy he was impressive with his magic skills as well
Leon smiled "you know me somethings never change old friend as for my daughter i wish i could but she's a bit of a wild one.." he sighed

Mathias chuckled. "Some things never change." He sat down and looked at the boys. "Has it really been twenty years, Leon? I mean I still can't believe it. Oh, Engela sends her regards to you and Vix." He raises his hand and starts weaving his fingers, creating a map near the fire. "We are here. From what I've seen, they have two small camps on the outskirts then a main camp here. I figured it was just you and me, hadn't planned that you'd bring your son or his friend. But I suppose we can still pair off. I'm thinking we hit the two small camps first. Then we can move in on the main area without worrying about reinforcements. They'll be calling for aid in two dead camps. Just have to time it right, cause they send patrols between the outer camps and the main camp every twenty minutes."

((exactly right Mathias uhm i'm headin to bed guys ttyt )) Alex had very little idea of what the adults were talking about who was this Engela he tried to remember if his father or mother had ever talked about her Leon nodded "i know time flies ahh tell the old woman i said hello Vix is wrought with worry" he sighed he knew she was crying he loved that woman so much though Leon sighed "ahh if only Siobhan were with us today" he sighed and then nodded "yes that sounds like a good plan))

Mathias laughed. "If she heard you call her old, she'd send you to Oblivion, hehe." Mathias sighed too. It'd been too long since he saw them. Oh well, the past was the past. There was a job to do, so time to get to it. As he stood, he clutched his chest and groaned. Looking at Leon, Mathias smirked. "That last battle was a lot. I still find that when I try to tap into the Oblivion Stone, I feel the threads more and more. And I think Einon is affected by the stone too. I worry he might be sucked into the same turmoil I face when use my powers." Mathias looked at the two kids. "We all need to get together once, the eight of us. Nine if you bring that Water mage. Speaking of him, he'll go with me to attack the camp to the south. You and your son can take the one to the east."

Artemis was looking at the adults then looked back at Alex. "So, you've met Mathias before. Even if you were little. That's so cool. I heard from your mom that he's a really powerful shadow mage. And that some strange stone gave him even more power, but your mom said it hurts cause he was constantly battling the 'darkness from the other side' or whatever that means." He shrugged and finished his piece of venison.

Suddenly..
"Late breaking news,another series of murders have striked near the police station. Is this a warning? Police say these deaths was no accident and if you look at the scene behind me,I think you'll agree." A newswomen said as the tv stopped whatever it was playing to show that. "The Child Murder is still at large,another ski mask was also at the scene,police has is searching the area for clues now..and all those listening to this is near the scene,please lock your doors and windows..good night." She said and it cut off making the tv go back to its reguler show.....
(yes..she is near you all!...sry i bored lol)
