Standing in a small music store stood a woman of no more than about five and a half feet in height. Her clothes were normal: black jeans, a plain maroon t-shirt and a partially zipped, black pullover. Her eyes were covered in dark sunglasses, and strands of dark red lay lazily in her face. A pair of fairly skinned hands sorted through a row of CDs, until they ran across a set of four discs in a single wrapper. Picking it up, she noticed that the set was dated back to the 1970s, and that the band members faces seemed like something out of a circus. Judging by her satisfied expression, she had found what she was looking for.
A few moments later, she exited the store and crouched on the sidewalk outside, fighting to get the wrapper open, and finally accomplishing it, she picked out one particular disc, and placed in a side-mounted CD player. From around her neck, she lifted and positioned a pair of headphones that held to the back of her head. Her thumb skipped to a particular track, and she started walking, the bag that held the other discs shoved into her pocket.
A world without Heroes, is like a world without sun. You can't look up to anyone, without heroes. In a world without heroes, is like a neverending race, like a time without a place, a pointless thing, devoid of grace...
Well you don't know what you're after, or if something's after you, and you don't know why you don't know... A world without Heroes...
In a world without dreams, things are no more than they seem. And a world without heroes, is like a bird without wings, or a bell that never rings, such a sad and useless thing, in a world without heroes...
Well you don't know what you're after, or if something's after you, and you don't know why you don't know...
In a world without heroes, is nothing to be; It's no place for me........."
Before she had left the hospital, there was talk of just sending her to the Xaiver school, given her age and lack of formal education. The few good people who worked there had taken a liking to the seemingly helpless TC. It had taken much protesting on her part before they simply let her go into the real world, though she obviously had no idea what had gone on not long after she had been admitted. All the talk of the 'evil' that was the mutant race made her all the more self conscious. She had found herself walking with her arms wrapped about herself, her hands tucked away and hidden, as if just looking at them gave away what she was.
She stopped at a pawn shop and watched the news on a staticy, colourless television set. For a long time, she felt as if her soul died with every image--though obviously editted--of the 'horrors' committed by her kind. Of course, the headphones on her head blocked out all the audio, though it didn't make things any better. She sighed, and slowly pulled out a pair of fingerless, bowling gloves given to her by one of the older woman from the hospital. After a beat of staring at the worn, leather things, she slipped her hands into them, tightening them at the wrist with velcro straps. She looked her hands over once more for a long time, before she finally turned and kept walking down the street.(OOC Note: The song is real. It's "A World without Heroes" by Gene Simmons, from the 4 record solo set done by the band KiSS during the 1970s. I officially made the song TC's theme song earlier after a listened to the song--short as it is--a few times. If anyone wants to hear it, feel free to send me a PM with your email addy, and I'll send it to you.)

Unaware of the commotion going on with the others, Victoria helped Sasha somehow make it to Professor Hank's lab without seeing or hearing any of what was going on. As soon as they got there, Sasha forced herself to stand all the way up. She refused to let any other x-men besides Sonya, see her being weak. Victoria rolled her eyes. Sasha knocked on the door. It opened and they stepped in. "Please have a seat on the bed Ms. Donaviech," said the Professor. Sasha did. "Now just tell me how you've been feeling lately." "I've been throwing up almost everyday for the past three months," she answered. "Really?" questioned Hank, "I need to do some tests that will only take a few minutes. Meanwhile I need a urine sample from you," and handed her a cup. About 10 mintues later, Professor Hank came back in the door. "I need to speak to Miss Sasha alone please," he said. Victoria left. As soon as she did, Hank sat down in front of Sasha. "According to my tests, the reason you have been throwing up these past weeks is because of something you ate with chilli. The meat was bad. Here, drink this and it should go away." Sasha took the glass and drank down the strange white liquid. "I am feeling a little bit better now," she said, "I'll guess I'll be going." "There's more. Please, sit back down." Sasha did. "What else is there." Beast took a deep sigh. "The reason why you have been sick for the previous months and been gaining is, well. Miss Sasha, you are four months pregant." Sasha dropped the glass she was holding. "No, you're wrong. I just ate something bad. That's what you told me," she assured. "I know it must be overwhelming news. But since you are four months along, abortion is out of the question. You both should think of adoption." "Us both?""You and the baby's father."
Sonya, still confused by why Miss Penny was like this, followed the others to her. The lights going out didn't help much. She could make out jaime next to her. "Hey Jaime, let's work together to bring some light back in the room."

Several minutes after leaving the (literal) Romanian pig sty, Pietro emerged on the Xavier Institute lawn, a small trail of flame outlining his taken path. He raised his arms mockingly, as by this point he was used to dozens of security features to red flag every time he did this. It was fun making sport of such systems, and really it was one of the only things Pietro was looking forward to upon his return.
He frowned to see absolutely nothing happen. The seperate medical facility looked like it still had lights, but the rest of the mansion was completely dark. "What the hell?" Pietro muttered, and for a moment he wondered whether the humans had finaly chased them out.
As he entered the building the sounds of a fight began echoing throughout the halls. He smiled, figuring there might be some fun in coming back after all, as he raced toward the source of the noise. Granted, he couldn't see where he was going, nor could he tell who was fighting. But he did know one thing: for the most part, he didn't care about most of these fruits anyway, so if they got a few bruises he wouldn't be shedding any tears.
As if the X-Men weren't already disoriented enough, they now had tornado of furious adrenaline punching everything that moved, and laughing maniacally all the while.

((Sorry for coming in so late, well here is my first post. It's short, please don't get mad!)) Rycil staye away from the institute. Only a good few people really knew what he was, and he planned to keep it that way. He brushed a hand through his hair and he sat on a bench. His stomache rumbled, but he ignored it. He just closed his eyes for the peace. "Damn, Mutant High. If that wasant there people would be less suspicious around here, I couild be at peace for once. But now I can hardly even punch someone without being called a mutie. Xavior and his students, they only make things worse, why do they have to be here. Why can't they just leave? All the do is cause trouble for mutants everywhere. Rycil's density started to increase with his anger. The bench creak, losing it's ability to hold him. He stood up glaring into the school.

"Yeah, guess it's just the two of us again. Like old times." Teagan said, showing a small smile. She brushed her hair out of her eyes as she watched Sonya and Rachael leave.
Who was she kidding? Like old times? She knew things weren't ever going to be the same. But optimism seemed to be her new thing. Maybe things would be like old times.
"So...atleast we don't have to worry about making room now. It's just us." She said, glancing over at Gen, twirling the wire of her headphones between her fingers. "Do you want to...Okay! That's it! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" She said, sticking her head outside the door, looking out into the corridor.
She could have sworn she heard Theresa scream, and she heard some sort of commotion going on.
"My guess is, Gen, you've come back just in time." She said, looking over her shoulder at Gen.

Jade rolled her eyes as the flash of what was Pietro streaked about, "I don't have time for amature games."
She had enough instinct and guile to pick one his trajectory in his second pass down the hallway. Throwing a blade down through the darkness, she made her best judgement at where he would pass and truely hoped he ran into it.
Morgan's attack was nothing to her. But Penance knew that Morgan had something else planned... Jade underestimated him. For the first time, Penance restrained herself in taunting Jade. She just waited for her time. It was going to come.
Ignoring the new crowd of mutants, she took a running leap into Regina holding a blade in her hand. Before Regina could escape into shadows, Jade took ahold of her... and as Penance suspected, somebody rushed Jade away from Regina and put her into a wall.

Jacen stood dumbfounded in the darkness. He was able to see only barely the scuffle that Wolverine was involved in. That is, until he was taken down rather easily with a pinning shot to the wall.
"Goddammit....," Jacen muttered. He was getting irritated about not seeing, about the fact that it was Evelyn single-handedly decimating Brotherhood and X-Men alike. Even more annoying was the fact that Pietro managed to land a couple of shots in his blind flurry. It hurt slightly, but Jacen wasn't about to let it deter him from what he thought needed to be done. And even though there was bad blood between the two, Jacen thought it best to at least deflect the flying blade aimed at Pietro's shoulder with a quick blast of energy.
"........Goddammit......," Jacen said, mumbling. He wasn't sure if Regina could hear his mutterings or not, but he wasn't pleased about this at all. On one hand, he knew he should do something to end this, if he could. On the other hand, if Penance was aimed at killing him.....Regina...any of the others.
While he was caught in his stupor, Jacen heard loud steps in front of him, then looked up to see Penance....no.....Jade flying at them, sword drawn, ready to kill.
Jacen stood frozen for a half second before his instinct kicked in. With a massive energy surge, he jumped forward and threw his shoulder hard into Jade's gut, and wrapping her up in a football style tackle. When his feet hit the ground, he knew he had her disoriented for a moment. Maybe more. With a tight grab of her shoulder, he slammed her hard into the wall. He didn't know why, honestly. Mostly instinct, but partly because he wanted her to come to her senses.
"EVELYN!!!!," Jacen yelled. He was really the only one ballsy enough to call her by her Christian name, and now seemed to be quite the appropriate time. "It's Jacen! Snap out of this!!!"
"I know who you are," Jade seethed as she regained her composure, "You're nothing more than another notch on my belt." As she said that, she flicked her wrist and just barely caught Jacen's arm with her blade. Out of reflex, he immediately grabbed her by the throat and squeezed with his uninjured arm. The other arm he cocked back and charged a blast in his palm, just waiting for the signal.
".......Don't........," Jacen said stammering. This was the first time that instinct shut off and he came to his rational mind. "Goddammit Evelyn, don't make me have to do this...." He knew he had a small window to possibly reach her, and maybe, if this was the key, then this was what had to be done.

That was the moment she was waiting for. Jade's psychic body was dancing around the bars of Penance's cage. Until she stopped. Jacen had such a hold on the body that Jade had to fight him hard. Hard enough that Penance was able to reach out from the bars with as much will as she had and wrapped it around Jade's neck pinning her back to the bars.
Jade was strong and it hurt like a b***h. Penance took control of her own voice as best she could. The life came back to her body's eyes somewhat and the brutal harshness in the voice was gone when Penance spoke her own words.
"Jacen, I have ahold of Jade for about ten seconds. Knock me out, now. Have McCoy sedate me. Get a telepath."
Penance's psychic self was starting to loose her grip on Jade... who was for all intents breaking her arm in two places. Like she feared, Jacen hesitated... not that she could argue with it. She would do the same.
"DO IT NOW. When she takes over again, you'll have to kill me to stop her."
Sometime after that, the body's eyes went into blackness. Neither Jade nor Penance had control. Penance was still stuck in her cage and she had a broken arm.

Coming down hall Markus didn't need to hear that request twice. He squeezed by them. "Hang on and get the seditive....I'll hold onto her her..." He rolled her over and using his arms like a lasso he proceeded to hog tie her. He then formed another lasso and wrapped it arounf her neck. "Just in case..." Was all he said. He then solidified the bindings on her arms and legs making them harder to break free from.

Morgan, fortunately, hadn't needed to act. Jacen managed to get the drop on Jade via Regina's abilities. After the ensuing chaos, Markus had managed to hogtie her with... himself. A sedative? They'll never get it in time. Of course, Morgan was prepared for anything. Withdrawing a small dart from a pouch in his belt, he walked towards where Jade/Penance was bound, struggling against Markus's grip.
"This'll knock her out. A normal person would be out for a few hours. She'll be out for ten minutes, at the most. We'll have three to get her to McCoy," Morgan said, kneeling near where she was tied. He jabbed the dart into her arm, getting into one of the viens. She would be out in a few seconds.

Markus nodded and released Jade as soon as it was safe to. "Lets get her there now..." He rethought about it and restraigned her again. He however sprouted another set of arms to help carry her down. "Grab her feet and lets go...."

Jacen heard the voice. It was her. It WAS Evelyn, and she wanted to be knocked out. Naturally, Jacen hesitated. How could he conciously level her, even with her insistance. At the moment he was yelled at, Jacen released the energy burst from his hand, directly into his opponent's face. It wasn't a disintegrating beam, just one with enough concussive force to knock out a rabid ape. When her body went limp, Jacen let go of her throat and let her slide down slowly, then into his arms. In some weird way, he was happy to have her back, but he knew that it more than likely wasn't for long. And the others were wanting to make sure she wasn't going to be a threat.
"Excuse me!," Jacen said harshly as he was brushed aside so Penance could be hogtied. He recognized the mutant who had done such. A Brotherhood member, he was certain, but he didn't rightly recognize him.
"Was that necessary?," Jacen asked as he glared hard into the eyes of the one who set the manacles.
"Only if we don't want to get our butts kicked again."
Jacen looked down at Evelyn's sleeping face. She looked so peaceful...so beautiful. It was hard to imagine that just a few minutes prior she was a nigh-unstoppable killing machine. Reaching out just to make sure that it was her, Jacen lightly touched her face as someone managed to produce a sedative. He stayed sitting next to her, watching her as the sedative slowed her breathing enough to warrant his decision.
"She's out. She won't be a problem right now," Jacen said as he looked up again, "Free the bindings, or I will." The young mutant hesitated. Jacen glared again at the mutant, this time with a great anger surging inside of him. Without thinking, Jacen broke the knot holding Penance's arms and legs behind her body, then scooped her up into his arms carefully.
"Evel.....Penance said to get a telepath," Jacen stated calmly as everyone around him seemed to tense up, ready for another round of fighting. As he looked around at the mutants assembled there, ready to strike, he yelled, "Will someone please go get Emma?!" There were a few sorrys said, then he heard at least five sets of feet running off to find Ms. Frost. "We need to get power back on. Jamie. Get Cyclops and head to the transformers. He's a good fixit guy, and I'm sure you'd be a great help." Jacen didn't like having to take charge like this, but sometimes, considering the circumstances, it was necessary. Feeling a bit dizzy, Jacen nearly fell and dropped Penance. As soon as he stumbled, he did regain his footing. "And I need to get her to the infirmary quickly. Just in case she does manage to wake up sooner than expected. Regina? If you could please?"

"So what are your plans now?"
"I guess we can always take a detour and see how the boyscouts and your brother and compagny are doing."
Wanda made a face. She haven't seen her brother in a very long time and she didn't want to see him or have news of him. Through him, she could see her father and she hated that, hated him for his ressemblance. Freya helped her many times to get over it but she couldn't. She wasn't the one who slained her father so she wasn't at peace. Now, she started to wonder if she will ever be in peace.
Noticing her favorite and only student was quiet, Freya opened her mouth again.
"Ok so the real reason is to make a mess out of the place and see how Miss Frost will react to me. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to jinx a few students here and there with bad luck or just send them flying around. I know you like that," she said hopeful.
Wanda couldn't help but smile at the thought. It became wider when they both stood in front of the gates of the institute.

"Ah, pointless acts of aggression. My FAVORITE acts of aggression!" Pietro mused as he finally calmed down. He seemed completely oblivious to the knife that was sticking out of his artificial arm.
Everyone had gathered around the now unconscious femme fatale, freaking at some kind of weird revelation or something. He vaguely recognized her. Her name was... was... what the hell was it? Patty? Pansey? Punky? Yeah, htat was it...
"I'll leave you guys and Ms. Brewster here to remenice, or whatever," he said to no one in particular. "I need to track down that blue science guy about a tune-up. It takes one abomination of god to master another, I suppose..."
He strolled out onto the front lawn, swearing slightly as he noticed a bit of snow. Stupid ******** snow. As he came around the corner, he saw Sasha standing outside the medical wing, looking pretty distressed.
Obviously she misses the hell out of me, Pietro thought to himself.
He walked up to her, though she looked different. He couldn't place his finger on it until he got a little closer.
"Hello again, gorgeous!" he stated cheerfully. "Hey, did you get fatter or something?"

"Shut it twerp..." Cathy said appearing behind him and smacking him across the back of the head. "You're mother should have kicked your smart-mouthed little a** more often...maybe then you'd have had better manners." She said bluntly. She personaly didn't care but ladies had to stick together and attacking Sasha figure was low...which is why she pulled his mother out of the closet. "What's troubling you hun?"
