::He sat across from her, giving a small grin as she made the comment. Then those eyes looked down as the light faded some:: "Erm...Rayne. I have something important to ask of you..." ::he sid in a low voice: "I...was wondering. Ermm...well...are we friends? Or....something else?" ::he said, not intentionally trying to make the statement vague as hell::

She wasn't sure how to answer the question... When she started to answer, she stopped herself. She thought either answer might make him mad... She stood up and walked over to him. She wasn't sure why she did this really... maybe to impose that she was an idiot or something. "Jay, I'm not sure how to answer this question.. I would like to say we are friends, but sometimes I just feel as if it's more. The feeling has wanted to stay inside of me, but it has slowly been fading on and off for the past days..." When she got done saying that, she walked back over to where she was sitting and thought about how he might reject her or accept her... both seemed to have mixed feelings. She was surprised she could even say that to him, but she finally got it out in the open.

Reaper swing in the trees silently and landed softly on a branch. She pauses listening to her surroundings before she stood fully up on the branch. Her eyes scanning the area next.

I...just wanted to know if you shared the same feelings" ::he said as he leaned back against the cold cave wall, the anxiety wiping away any trace of pain in his ribs. :

~Quit~ Reaper thought leaning back against the tree just listening to nature itself. In the far distance she could hear the waterfall as it crashed into the bed of rocks and sand below it.

She felt her stomach literally disappear. She was light headed and set for the mood. "I would like to, but..." there was really no 'but' to it, she just felt that there might be one. She placed her hands on her lap as she could feel the feeling set to her face. If you could see clearly, she was a bright mixture of red and white, a dim pink at that.

::Those unblinking eyes stared up at her, the light on his fingertip slowly fading. He would frown a bit as she said that last, fifth, most devistating word. He looked down, knowing that there was something wrong. "But" always meant there was something wrong. She was probably taken, he thought as he looked up to her, wanting her to finish::

Not knowing exactly what he wanted to hear, she said something harmless, not really striking, just unexpected. "But I don't know how anyone like you could accept me." As the light almost gave out, a flash of light bounced of the cave wall. This usually happened when she was nervous, scared, really happy, or almost dead...

This usually happened when she was nervous, scared, really happy, or almost dead... ::Giving a small smile as he saw the light dim and flicker out, watching the remaining light bounce off of the cave wall:: "Your a very beautiful woman Rayne..." ::he said, blushing once more; the dark concealing it easily:: "And I suppose you and I...we aren't so different" ::he said with a small smile as he got up and sat next to her:: "Anyway...I suppose I brought you here to ask you if...well, you and I were dating" sweatdrop

::With a small smile, he nodded and then said:: "All right then. We're now dating" ::Looking over to her, he could've sworn that she was smiling....although, the darkness made it impossible to tell. Those eyes closed and then he leaned against the wall, still aware that she was still sitting next to him. So, the pair sat in silence for a while, and to break that silence, Jay would then say:: "Hmm...do you want to leave? I think it's already night sweatdrop "
