Ato chuckled slightly to himself at the commotion, more than slightly pleased at the host's agreement. This would make things much easier in the long run.
"Excuse me? Can I have the attention of all you volunteers? I'd like to say something before we start our little investigation." Ato didn't wait for a response. "First, I'd like to thank you all for being so willing to help so that the rest of the guests might be able to relax a little. It's plenty hard to show up in nowhere from wherever you all came. I will tell you all right now, however, that for the most part, your morals will be pointlessly held in this case. A murderer is a murderer, nothing more or less, and no moral standing will justify the actions of whomever did this. Does anyone have any questions before we start? If not, we should head to the bathroom where the body was discovered."
Ato jumped up to the top rail where the host and hostess were standing and waited for a response.

Kareshk stood in the middle of the crowd, holding his weapon lightly, he didn't really care if someone had gotten killed, maybe it had been the will of the chaos gods, maybe it hadn't. Either way he wasn't getting involved.
Hilana was too busy trying to converse with wone of the metal automated things and explain to it how to make Hylian tea, unfortunately she wasn't having much luck.
{Can anyone say Arthur Dent xd }
Kirra stayed in her meditative state, though a vein in her head did twitch when someone accused her, just because she was a Sith Apprentice didn't always mean that she was killing people left and right, no matter how much fun it was to watch people scream and run.

Ato furrowed his tiny brow when nobody came up with a question, and then when the girl who had shut up the screaming one stalked off, presumably towards the bathrooms, Ato decided it would be impossible to try and keep any kind of order. He sighed and turned around to address the host and hostess.
"I'd like to apologize for these terrible events happening on your birthday. Such a terrible thing to ruin such a wonderful time. Please, I'll try to keep this investigation as quiet as possible. Do try and enjoy the rest of the day as much as you can. As for you, madam," Ato said, bowing to Kendris. "Try to keep the birthday boy happy, for all our sake." Ato smiled, then jumped down to the main floor and started off towards the bathrooms, following the first girl.
"Anyone who wants to keep up, should." he said coldly over his shoulder.

Jad shrugged, "Well, I think it'll be better than the last one..."
"You went dinosaur hunting on the last one..." Kendris replied.
"And it was boring... not even a challenge."
"You used an attack walker with heat sensors and missiles..."
"So?"
Kendris sighed. "I'll go see if anyone is enjoying themselves..."
"Fine, my dear. Waiter! more drinks please!" he called to a robot.
The Siofra walked up to the Hylian, who also sported the same long, pointed ears. "hello. is there a problem with the waiter?" she asked, pointing at the faceless drone.

Hilana nodded and said, "This, waiter, doesn't know how to make Hylian tea, and I can't seem to explain to...it, what Hylian tea is like, I keep getting water with some sort of strange leaves in it. She showed the cup to the woman, there was indeed water in it as well as a few oak leaves.
{I'm assuming there are normal trees here correct?}
{And I don't like pink it's too hard to reed, so I'm changing the color}

((Jad? A little vivid description here? Can't have a murder scene if all you get is 'a body on the floor.' Describe it like Dean Koontz would! XD))

The body was in a stall. the Robotic Janitor was frozen, holding the door open, as not to disturb the scene. the man had stab wounds that had been pulled along the body. One thing stood out was that this man was in brown-colored robes and has a cord of hair on one side of his head.
The man was a Jedi Knight. His hand gripped the lightsaber, but he'd died before he could activate it. The killer was good, having made it so the body's original position wasn't known. blood was smeared on the door and a splash on the feet of the drone. the toilet was spotless inside, but the lid was up and had blood, meaning that it had been flushed after the murder. The blood only covered the floor of the stall. there were no footprints.

Kendris blinked. "Waiter, retire please..." The drone nodded it's eyeless visor of a head and marched away. "Did you ask for a specific flavor? Because they know Earl Grey and orange spice..." The siofra asked

Lillith laughed to her self "This is going to be fun."
Lillith hadn't been amused or been full of glee for 5,000 years. She
was glad that she got to come. Even though Lillith was glad that she got to leave Earth she always stayed away from the crowds. Lillith stood in the
shadows at a corner of the ballroom she didn't want to make a fool of
herself then she decided to levitate up in the air out of sheer boredom.

kryxel and durol walked down the hallway towards the bathroom...
and was pilfering anything small and valuable.
"so whats the deal...with this guy...was he rich? or powerful? or maybe he owed some money." kryxel said picking up the lightsaber.

Vexis followed the rest of the group, staying close the ground in her mist form. Hopefully no one would breathe her in this time...
But Vexis' mind was still on the strange girl back there, who the heck was that? Oh well, only time would tell.

Ato stopped at the edge of the blood, staring blankly at the cruel scene. Then one of the guys picked up the lightsaber. Ato jumped onto his shoulder and grabbed it from the man's hand, returning it to its original position in the dead jedi's open palm.
"Please don't move anything yet." he said, returning to his original position. "It's crucial to get an idea of what might have happened."
Simply by looking, it was an obvious conclusion that the weapon used to kill the man had been flushed, seeing that the toilet was clean only on the inside.
"I would say the murderer came in while the victim was either getting ready to or finishing up from using the toilet. That doesn't explain why the stab wounds are on both the front and back, nor does it present a motive."
This was a perfect crime. Minus one detail.
Ato jumped up to the robot janitor's shoulder.
"I don't suppose you're allowed to move? Could you at least give me an easier way to talk to the host without going all the way back on foot?"
Ato sat back on his haunches and waited for some kind of reply.

The Drone didn't budge, but replied in it's mechanical voice, "I am not moving, as I am part of the crime scene. Blood is a biohazardous material, and until this crime scene is investigated thoroughly, I will not move. Then I will be acid washed. I can radio an unoccupied drone to notify Jad, as I did upon discovering the body..."
A man in the investigation group, clad in medieval armor and a red cape offset by computer goggles on his face nodded, "Seems like the jerk's robots don't do anything NOT by the book."

"Please do that. Tell him that he should be wary and try and remember any enemies, would you?"
Ato then turned to the other speaker, whose tone made his distaste for the host all too obvious.
"Well, can you blame them?" Ato asked with a keen smile. "They're only robots, you know. Anything that's outside their programming they will probably try to destroy, or maybe just avoid. I still think they should make these things fly. Too much of a waste of space, even if you're on your own secluded island."
Ato turned back to the robot, then leaned over to glance at the feet.
"Can I ask you something, mister robo-drone? How did you get blood splashed on top of your feet?"
