"Just shut up with that nonsense." Rhell said dropping his mess kit. "You won't be taking up as much room as you say you will. Not just your power, but an extra person there is going to help us a lot. So stop being so sad and at least feel slightly welcome in the group." Rhell said in a harsh tone. He sat back down and picked up the mess kit. "Sorry, I just think we shouldn't be shy towards each other." Rhell poured in some soup, drank the liquid and ate his fill of noodles. "I'm going to make some negotiations with the rebellion, we need some sort of escort toward Haven. We need a leader, I'll handle all that." Rhell waved and walked off toward a tent across the camp.

Lana awoke to the sound of a scream and the snapping of branches. It appeared that Suzume had slept in a tree last night, and awoke to fall this morning. The thought of her being like a cat was implanted in her mind, but she didn't say anything. When Suzume mentioned eating birds, Lana laughed in her mind. It definitely reinforced the thought of Suzume being like a cat.
Now, Lana was fully awake, and almost felt bad for eating a nice meal before she entered this world.

Rhell spoke with with an official, getting somewhat impatient at the refusing of Rhell's requests.

"Why are you not going to haven?" Rhell asked

"There are more infected camps which need to be cleared." The official responded coolly. "We cannot send you any backup men. We need all the forces we are able to. Haven is secure, there is nothing that needs doing there.

"Fine, but we at least need a few guns to support, and a jeep, and a group tent." Rhell said sighing. The two agreed and Rhell drove the jeep back to their camp. "we have an armored jeep and guns, with the group tent we have we have enough." Rhell turned the car off and stepped out. "The way I see it we should go to Haven and get my samples to the scientists." Rhell began to break down the tents after removing the sleeping materials. "We have enough food for about a week, and with luck we can get to Haven in three days."

Lana immediately flinched inside. She knew this "tell others something about yourself" game wouldn't get far without revealing where Lana was really from.
However, she couldn't help but to muffle a giggle when the image of an alcoholics anonymous meeting popped into her mind. "Hi, I'm Lana, and I'm from another world" sounded just as stupid to her as "Hi, I'm Lana, and my last vodka was on a flight to San Antonio to see my mother in law."
But she agreed with the idea. They all needed to know something about one another. No real group could function without knowing a little about the people that made it.
But there was one burning question she needed to ask.
"Where, and what, is Haven? It sounds... specific. Like a certain place, not just a safe haven." she said, feeling obviously stupid.

Suzume appeared behind Lacey suddenly "Then what are we waiting for? Lets go" Suzume said with her hands stuffed in her pockets and her troubled/thoughtfull look on her face like always. Suddenly a grumble was heard and suzume blushed in embarassment "Sorry" Suzume stomach grumbled again but she just seemed to ignore it "So? Lets go?"

Lacey stood in front of the group.
"My name is Lacey. Because of my ability, my parents sent me to this town several years ago to get away from the soldiers." She glanced at the town and looked back.
"I know that this place needs rebuilding, but I feel I can do more for them if I can figure out the cause of all this and stop those responsible for the bloodshed."
