They had precious little time before Kasai would attempt to return. Fatal knew this, and he already knew what to do. The necromancer strode up to Travis. "You're still here?" He asked, but shook his head and one arm, as if to wave the question away. Continuing, Fatal asked, "Can you get away from here? You see--what I'm about to do--this entire ship is about to be full of water. If your friends teleport here again, they'll drown. So you might want to get out before I let the water in."

Travis just nodded. "Just remember to go see Kranza..." he said, then teleported away.
(not sure where to put him... suggestions?)

((Report to Kranza, or maybe go to the Island where Kasai and Kali are to explain things, now that he doesn't have to protect Fatal?
XD I'm loving the whole 'manipulate Travis' thing.))

Fatal busied himself with adjusting levers, switches, or examining gauges and analog displays. Soon enough, he was ready to leave. But first, two more things to do.
Fatal approached the room just off of the entry way, were a round circle was all that existed of the floor. After an unseen signal, the circle, which was a door, slid horizontally open, revealing a large pool of water at the floor. Which really was the ocean, kept from flooding the entire structure by the air pressure inside. Fatal tossed five vials of varying color into the ocean water, and then turned to leave as the circle on the ground closed, sealing the Grotto against water once again.
"Now," Fatal breathed, still possessing some vials, "it is time to end my business here. Since the Library is hidden where only I can know of its existence, I'll drown it and be done with the place."
Yes, evil villains had the tendency to talk to themselves. Fatal suddenly through a ring at the side of the wall, a wall that guarded the room against the onslaught of water outside.
The ring grew magically, and, along with a bright white light, allowed water to pour through inside. Once the pressure on both sides of the wall was equalized, the ring would close and drift to the floor, and there would be a hole no longer. But the entire grotto, or Library, would be sunken and underwater. Anyone who teleported here again would drown.
Fatal soon left in a poof of billowing smoke.

Fatal reappeared some few hours later, holding his breath and swimming around the murky depths. Soon enough, a magical spell was cast by the necromancer, and the water was simply teleported outside of the Grotto.
The Grotto, that is, that was actually one gigantic library... and was once the property of Saint Ninian.
Water dispersed, Fatal went about his way, picking up a few more vials filled with strange substances and chemicals... and then he descended once more into the engine room. After an hour of tinkering in there, Fatal ascended once again, scratching his head.
"Only forty per cent operating power is available," Fatal found himself saying to no one. "It's enough to operate the movement mechanisms, and the magical disruptor field, but not simultaneously."
What this meant, was, Fatal could have the entire Library safe from teleportation magic and things of that nature, but not when he was moving.
Well, Fatal would be stuck in the Library for a small time, contemplating his next move, so he figured that he might as well fire up the anti-magic field. And so Fatal did.

A small doll lost in a far off, dusty corner of the Library suddenly grew in size as the soul that owned it entered it's vessel for the first time since the library had been abandoned.
Geno stood up and looked around.

Fatal was currently debating between two different vials; one full of ancient shark remains, the other full of Venus Human trap genetic material. Which one to revive....
That was when he sensed life--so to speak. Fatal's eyes narrowed as he looked around the grotto, unable to determine exactly the whereabouts of his intruder. Since no one could teleport in or out, through the magic barrier, Fatal was curious as to how his defenses were breached.
"Who intrudes in this sacred place?"

Geno was a bit surprised when he sensed another life-force in the Library, since he knew Ninian was dead. But this didnt show. He started walking towards the source.

No answer. But the life force was present and coming closer. Fatal sighed.
"Light, me rete asmi."
The entire floor was engulfed in bright light, now, from its source: a giant firefly, commonly known as a lightning bug. This creature, as big as Fatal himself, floated in the air in front of him. Acid dripped from its mandibles, and it was too hot to touch. But it lit the area fairly well.
Fatal's eyes centered on Geno. "Who or what are you?" he demanded. "And how did you get in here?"

Fatal stopped, unmoving, blinked, or breathing, for a few seconds. Then he regained his composure. "Ah. Hah. I own this place. I salvaged it--the previous resident is dead. And I am one who can use its vast... resources. But who are you?"

Geno got a bad vibe from Fatal. He pointed one of his hands at him, the tips of his fingers opening, "I'm the one sent to take care of people like you."
