Rose looked over at Vincent confused for a second, still hanging upside down. suddenly she started laughing hard joining his laughter. suddenly Rose feel out of the tree but did bother getting up just kept laughing. " you right it was priceless. this is the most iv laughed in a while."

Vincent wiped a tear out of his eye. "Well, life these days doesn't have much room for laughter." He straightened himself up. He was no longer laughing, but a smile played its way across his face. "Its been a long time since Ive heard such laughter."

Rose stopped laughing taking in breathe and wipping away tears. they she lay back looking at the sky a smile painted on her face. ".....i know how you feel. i havent heard anyone laugh like that since before i come to Nightmare. i didnt think it was even possible anymore. i suppose even through the bad times we can find a laughed once in a while.... after you started laughing i just couldnt stop...." Rose almost started laughing again just just kept smiling.

"Well then, what now?" he asked still smiling. "I still have time before my assassination." He pointed out and he stretched his arms, cracking the joints in his elbows and fingers. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure there were no light soldiers headed their way.

"no clue." Rose said leaning back on the tree, " i have plenty of time before my mission is ment to be over. i have to go down to the light villige but i walked all night so i cut some time off already." Rose looked around still on alert. it was odd that they were so close to the border and there were now(living) light soilders in sight."

"hm" Rose looked at him small amount left, "thats shoulnt be to hard to do though. ya might want ot make a few more arrows aswell." Rose walked over to the man she killed and took her knives. then she sat back don and took out s bottle of polish from her pouch and a rag and started washing the knives. "i might get more polish while i get into town. use the advantage of my deception while i can."

"I can just buy the bolts." Vincent said, waving his hand in dismissal. "As for the poison, I just need to find the right plants, reptiles, and fungi." He glanced around and noticed a large spider creeping towards a dead soldier. "That should do for some poison." He muttered devilishly, tossing his dagger into it. Vincent picked up the dead spider and a small vial with cloth over the top of it, and proceeded to milk the venom from the fangs. "This should do splendidly. The bigger the spider, the more venomous and poisonous it is."

"very true." Rose said watching him milk the spider and thinking back to her own spider. not many people knew that she kept a spider in her room and a deadly one at that. but no one needed to know. " i could make the polish myself but if i'm going to be in that town i'll just pick some up. i mean this way they're just aiding the enemy an i right. saves me some trouble." Rose finnished cleaning the last knife and put it up to the light. it was one of her mothers and made by her father. beatuiful with a straight blade. now the length of it was a etching to her mother saying, ""Vivez le jour. Avec tout votre coeur ." (live the day. With all your heart.) Ever since she got knives and joined with Nightmare that was exactly what she intended to do.

"Nice daggers, they're good quality. They appear lightweight with a good balance." Vincent walked over to her, tossing the spider away and wiping the fluids off the blade of his own jeweled dagger, the pommel of which was set with an emerald that had Nightmare's insignia floating naturally inside.

"thanks" she said putting it in her lap, " it was my mothers and my father made then himself by hand. they are pretty much all i have left." she looked over at his. "yours is nice too."

Vincent grinned and sat down next to her. "The only bad part about it is that if I get hit with direct light the thing sparkles." He laughed at the thought, a dog-like bark of a laugh.
