Character:: Felicity "Felix" Garth Location:: Organization territory, Underground elevator
She rolled her eyes at his response and made a face when he told her to stay put. God, like it was all that great staying underground and waiting for your slavedriver to come back. Damn, it was creepy down here too, what was he running? An underground gambling ring? Well, that wouldn't have surprised Felicity much, but it was so out of the way and secure. It made her feel claustrophobic. "Ugh..." She whispered, Felicity could have sworn the room echoed back at her. Just to do something with her hands, she rolled up her sleeves, them rolled them back down, each time catching a glint of the weapons she had on her forearms. She had to find a better location for them. She started pacing after the movement of her arms failed to appease her, and heard the little shake of her pack of cigarettes as she walked.
Felicity paused momentarily. Just one couldn't hurt, right? It would be only her third this month. She pursed her lips, and after a while temptation got the better of her. She lit one the sticks of tar and immediately felt disgusted with herself. For a while, she only stood there with the cigarette in her hands, staring at it. 'Fine.' It only took one puff for her to relax a little.
While she was doing something she'd tried to swear off, Felicity's mind wandered. Wandered back to her childhood in that cramped little house and her stupid brothers. She wondered how they were doing. Hadn't heard from most of them since the months after she moved out, not even her secretary brother had dropped by. In a way, it was almost lonely.

Character: Clark G. McArthur. Location: Streets
Clark nodded, they all acted a little he supposed. At least he did, quite a lot he now realized. "Acting" wasn't exactly a term he used to describe it. It felt more like lying to him, using his false self. He turned his mind away from such thoughts, as he was quite skilled at doing, and turned them towards his companion.
"I suppose if it works out in the end..." He began, letting his voice trail off before continuing. "You have to wonder though, what life would be like if we wandered a different path in our youth." He knew of course, wishing for such a thing was a waste of time. It did seem to be something he found himself pondering more as of late. With countless more lives than Clark's own being influenced by his decisions. It was a lot of weight on a mind that never rests.
Despite his apparent "Always certain" outlook, Clark found himself doubting a lot. He simply chose the plan with the least doubts, and the least consequences. This is something he would never let on to anybody though. Who wouldn't doubt a man who doubts himself?

Character: Akana Massri Location: Streets
Akana laughed cheerfully, running her fingers through her short, silky hair. It was an inherently flirtatious gesture, but she didn't realize she was doing it most of the time.
"If I hadn't run away, I would be an incredibly boring person, and if I hadn't become a thief, well...I would probably have a few very uncomfortable diseases," she stated, still chuckling softly to herself.
Still, she had considered it briefly, in certain melancholy moods. "There are things I would change, things I would have done differently," Akana added, the cheer replaced with a wry humor that twisted her mouth into a lopsided grin.

((Incredibly sorry to everyone, My thoughts have been amazingly distracted, but I think they're back, I hope the RP didn't die in my absence))
Character:: Strake Scizzon(Alpha) Location:: The Situation Room
"So you're telling me that my hunch about the Organization's plan to try to lure us into a town and then destroy us was right?" Strake asked one of the convicts who had taken away from the rest of the group. Man I give them enough pay to live comfortably and shower and they still reek. The Alpha thought as he wrinkled his nose and the horrible stench of the men.
"We also have sent scouts to the closest city to us, in case you were to want to take control of it. There's a small gang there that would cause opposition, otherwise the city is ours. It seems the Organization didn't have a chance to reach the city, you best be going before they get a chance to, we'll alert your men." One of the convicts explained, his face tense and his hair dripping wet with sweat. He ran off after he spoke hoping The Alpha wouldn't stop him.
"You may go too." The Alpha said towards the other sweaty convict. The convict obeyed immediately. Hmm...a gang eh? Looks like Dolly will have some fun there, I suppose I could send her, but who would be her partner? I'll let her have the choice I suppose. Strake thought as he sat lazily in his chair. I should get going to the truck. The Alpha stood and walked out of the room.

((Don't worry about it, me and Ink were trying to keep it alive in your absense. Also, I'm changing the size of my font, the other was too small imo.)) Character: Clark G. McArthur Location: Streets
Clark chuckled at her small joke. What would they be without humor? Common thugs most likely. Clark hadn't thought about time, and looking up, he was suprised at how much must have past. It looked to be close to an hour had gone by, possibly a little less. Clark hadn't talked to someone that long, casually, in many years.
Clark had picked up her change in demeanor instantly, and wasn't certain whether he prefered it or not. "All of us have regrets looking back." He offered, his own mood shifting towards a more serious level. He took no note of her gesture earlier. It was such a common thing to him, running his hand through his own hair, that it didn't even register to him as they walked. He took another glance upward and let out a small sigh.
"It seems we've been chatting along for quite awhile now." He remarked out loud, setting his gaze once more apon his companion.

She shrugged and glanced at him, making eye contact and grinning.
"You sound surprised. Do you not talk often?" she asked, able to hold back the mischief in her voice for a few moments before breaking and laughing a little.
"I don't mind the conversation, but I understand if you tire of my constant prattle. I might be a little disheartened, though, since I find your company quite enjoyable," Akana added, being completely honest.
Clark was an engaging person. He answered questions, understood her sense of humor, and actually seemed interested in what she had to say. Likewise, when he decided to speak his thoughts were interesting and gave her new ideas. She enjoyed his companionship, and hoped that despite the upcoming mission their friendship would be able to grow.

"You're 'constant prattle' is the only thing keeping me awake. I think you could find just as much company in a dog or the like. They listen just as much, and they don't offer the dry humor and sarcastic remarks. Come to think of it... That sounds more appealing than half of my subordinates."
He ignored the first question completely. He suspected that it was rhetorical anyway. He began to wonder, the, what was taking so long for Alpha to take care of. Not that he was complaining. This downtime was nice for a chace. He wasn't bored, or acting like a coldblooded murdering criminal. Not that he minded it all the time. It was hard to hold himself together after some of the reactions he had seen after threatening various men. Some were less composed than others under his scrutiny and ridacule.
((Ugh, it was hard to come up with eventhis much. I'll stand to make a short post for now.))

((Maybe a change of Setting will help, here comes the Calvary!))
Character:: Simon Rigby Location:: Streets
The sound of huffing and the smell of alcohol precede this middle-aged alcoholic who is drowning in sweat as he runs towards to figures he recognizes as the conference buddy's of the Alpha. He came to a sudden stop about a yard away from Clark, this stop jerked a bit of sweat of the man's forehead onto the conference buddy.
"What say you be Alpha buddy, go park car inside of the QuarterHead if you wishest to be taken to a fairy land of Shits and Giggles." The Oaf ordered drunkenly, swaying as he spoke, his face redhot and his clothing wet, stinking of sweat and alcohol. Aye why did that suit have to send me to fetch these slimey bastards. I was a lookin' backward to that fight bar.
"I reckon you best get be to Alpha in car or he be angry with me and the giggles!" Simon yelled out and fell unconscious, like a tree in the woods towards Clark. "I'm in a magical land of ice cream flavored beer!" He mumbled in his unconsciousness then slid off of Clark onto the ground head first.
((sorry about not giving you a chance to respond, I just wanted to get rid of this drunken idiot in a single post xD, hope you don't mind my assumption of Clark being Stiff at all.))

Character: Akana Massri Location: Streets
Akana automatically held her breath as the undeniable stench of the unwashed drunkard permeated the air. Just awful, why doesn't someone push him into a river or something? she wondered as she was forced to inhale, her lungs begging for air.
When the nonsensical man passed out in front of them, Akana giggled, covering her mouth and nose in a failing attempt to protect them from the smell.
"I think we should head back," she remarked, stepping over the mumbling man without a second glance.

Character:: Christopher “Crow” Scar Location:: Organization Territory, Underground Chamber
The official nodded at the General before hurrying down to inform the men. After a course of yelling and bellowing, the excitement died down. The “ex-convicts” started for their individual cells for their belongings. Crow observed the crowd for a moment longer before turning and heading back out.
He walked back out to where Felicity had been ordered to stay and found her still there, surprisingly enough.
“Pretty ladies should not be inhaling such hazardous chemicals,” Crow commented pulling the cigarette from her hand. He placed it in between his lips and took a deep drag. Making a face, he tossed it onto the floor and crushed it with his shoe.
“Sorry for the long wait, I know this dungeon doesn’t appeal to everyone,” he remarked with a shrug. He walked over to the elevator and waited for it to descend down.
((Terribly sorry for the lack of post everyone! I will try to be more responsible but considering it is me we are talking about, it is quite a difficult task. ))

✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ The woman sighed deeply as her husband rushed off without a word of acknowledgment, Dolly's comment only received a small nod from Eve as she continued to watch the hall that Strake had disapearred down. Eve found it frustrating that Strake never paid much attention to her when he called for meetings; she didn't expect all out spotlight lovey-dovey junk. Maybe a glance every now then?
When Dolly hooked her arm with Eve's the woman broke from her thoughts and masked her thoughts with a smile. "Yes, I think fresh air would do some good."

Location:: Nyx, Streets Character:: Strake Scizzon(Alpha)
Walking out of the hall Strake spotted his wife and Dolly, just the Cow Girl he was looking for. "Howdy-Do Ms. Cathers, I'm surprised you and Even here hadn't left me all by my lonesome, just as well, saves me the trouble of having to find you two." Strake spoke, slacking into a southern drawl, which he usually did when he had something in mind that he thought Dolly would like.
"I've just received some information about the nearest town, It turns out that there's a small Anti-Nyx gang there that is of no association with the Organization." He paused to let Dolly for her own conclusions seeing if she'd be sharp enough to catch what he was going to ask of her. "I want you to and your gang of horse bucklers to take out the gang and takeover the city to expand the Nyx Force. However, I request that you take one of the other superiors with you, I don't feel comfortable leaving one of you to take a city by yourself, even you Dolly." The Alpha requested, although his tone of voice had made it an order.

((Wait, I edited the first post?))
Character:: Dolly Cathers Location:: Nyx Territory, Streets
She had begun to tug Eve along when Strake popped out suddenly. This male seemed to walk without footsteps.
Pulling her hat off her head and smoothing down the frizz, Dolly tilted her head in his direction. She rolled her eyes at his southerner tone of voice but she was smiling inside. She knew that familiar tone, it could only mean Strake had good news.
The tracker tapped her red colored nail against her lips as if pondering thoughtfully. It wasn't a bad suggestion at all. She was in a wild mood. But then again, when wasn't she?
"Eve! Your husband is trying get rid of me so soon! I know I'm stealing your wife away from you Alpha but there is no need to send me away," Dolly teased. She fanned herself with the hat. It was quite hot out actually.
"Horse bucklers? What are you talking about Strake? I consider that statement to be very offensive and crude. And I'm glad you are concerned about my safety but I rather you not underestimate my abilities. If I can single hand ride a horse then I can single hand round up a rioting gang," Dolly scoffed, confident in her abilities.

Character:: StrakeScizzon(Alpha) Location:: Nyx Territory, Streets
Strake let the comment about his wife slip by with merely a smirk in response. "I apologize, but you are horse bucklers Ms. Cathers. And I'm not underestimating your abilities Dolly, I merely want you to take someone to give them some first-hand experience of... Dolly-style." Strake joked, but this was his true reason, or atleast that's what his voice made it sound as. In truth Strake had spent some time with Dolly's gang and realized they were very dull for company, so he wanted to get her to meet somebody new and interesting for the trip, to keep her company.
There was a loud buzz from the Alpha's pocket, he pulled out a small rectangular black cell phone that looked so tiny in his hands. He took a short moment to look over it, it looked like he was scrolling. He then put his phone away and looked back up, his face serious. "So who are you bringing with you? I'm afraid you have no choice in this Ms. Cathers, I'd suggest Clark or Akana, those two seem pretty interesting, or you can take them together, the more the better." The Alpha's voice loosened up slightly as he suggested, but his face did not give way to this loosening. In truth he could not let down his facial expression, because he knew that it would give way to a more fearful expression.

Yeah, well I got caught up today. I only have two rp's to post in tomorrow though, so then is when Clark will make his return.))
Character: Clark G. McArthur Location: Streets
"I can't believe it, if this wasn't my favorite jacket I'd burn it on the spot." Clark said with mock disgust. He had associated with the man Rigby before, and instinctively checking his pockets. Noting that the money he kept on him was still there, he scattered some change on the man.
"For the major inconvenience we've caused." He said to the unconscious lump at his feet. Looking over to Akana Clark couldn't suppress a chuckle. "If the smell bothers you that much, you obviously never visited some of the messier allies while you were in Farshard." He commented, making a show of dusting off his jacket. Clark made a mental note to threaten anyone who saw the exchange with the drunkard. To anyone other than Akana he was a bloodthirsty criminal, with a short temper. A reputation he intended to keep.
Stepping over the man Clark nodded to Akana. "Yes.. I suppose we are needed by the Alpha. Though it's a shame, I was quite enjoying our little chat." For the past half hour he had indeed forgotten they were just passing time until Alpha was finished with business.
