Having gotten a favorable reply, Baxter opened the door and made his way in.
"So, 'Lucky Jack's' run finally came to an end did it? The crew seems to be handling it well for the moment. Their morale will not last though without your strength." Reginald paused for a moment. "You must never show weakness or uncertainty while on deck, you must be confident and authoritative. If you are confident, then the crew will draw their strength from you. It is my understanding that you've known him longer than most, so I will be here to listen and help you in any way I can. I would be appreciative if you would start by filling in the details of what I slept through."

Well, that's a long answer.... *she sighed, and grabbed her forehead. She walked about the room a bit more and then settled in one spot. She took her hand down and looked at the doctor* We narrowly escaped the Boadicea by handing over the former Captain. Then, once the bosun had returned, we fired shots at the ship while the rest of the crew filled the sails and sent us on our merry way. Where Jack is now, if he be alive even, is unknown. My only hope is that we get to Provoka. *she nodded* Any questions?

"My only question at the moment is as to your condition. How are you doing?" Baxter's concern was sincere, although it had always been hard for him to show it. His concern always came off as him just being intrusive and inquisitive.

A bit shocked that I could've just killed my oldest friend. *she smiles* But other than that, I'm honored to be Captain of this ship and know that I can bring many new things to this crew.

"Well, we shall see," Reginald sighed. "I've said my piece, now if you'll excuse me, am going to go tend to some duties that are no doubt waiting for me. We should make Provoka soon enough. In about a week we should be there, don't you think?"

Thank you for your concern. But right now my only concern is for my crew. In a week we shall embark on a whole new journey in Provoka without the Captain. Until then, keep the lads healthy. *She turned to a paper on the desk, giving him an indirect chance to leave.* Good afternoon, Doctor.
