Much more excited than probably everyone here, Joker cut Firecracker off with hysterical laughter directed at the Batman. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEEHEEHEEHEEHAHAHAHAHOHOHOHOHAHAHAHAHA!!! Batsy, so very good of you to stop by for a visit. We were hoping you'd be so kind as to stop by. You took much longer than we had expected, though, and well, I got a little bored, so..." The diabolical clown let his voice trail off, instead opting to gesture over to the lifeless corpse of Edward Nigma, the Riddler. "You have to remember to be prompt, Bats, or else bad things happen! They always do! You know that by now! We have a routine that we have to keep, you know? There's tradition to what you and I do, my sweet, and to have you embarass both myself AND you by taking as long as you did, that's just not right, not at all..." Joker shook an admonishing finger at the Caped Crusader.

"It's Mr. Batman! That means Zephyr gets to pick the next game!" Zephyr declared happily, squirming until she was down from Meander's back. She then promptly ran over to run in circles around Batman with her arms out like an airplane.
"Mr. Batman, Mr. Batman, Mr. Baaaaaatman!" She sang happily, then paused to smile.
"How's Mr. Alfred doing? Well I hope, he's still cooel!" She gave a grin and thumbs up.
((Yeah, Zephyr doesn't really hate Batman at all, though he can be an a** hole sometimes. See, she doesn't really think that what she's doing is wrong, so she also doesn't think she's a villain and should therefore hate Batman. Though she still gets along more it seems with the villains than with the hero types...still...))

Joker immediately got confused at Zephyr's words. "Alfred? Who's Alfred? Is that the new Robin? Bring him along next time, I'll introduce him to Jason Todd... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Zephyr waved her arms.
"No! Alfred's an awesome butler dude I met, who I was gonna kidnap and hold for ransom, but then decided not to because he was all cool like and let me do puzzles galore, and we even baked a cake! Which was uber yummy!" Zephyr nodded happily, remembering the fond times.
"Mr. Batman kind of knows him a bit, so I was wondering if he happened to know how Mr. Alfred was doing..." Zephyr explained.

Joker didn't have anything to say at the moment; he was much too taken aback by the complete lack of third-person references Zephyr had just demonstrated... She actually said 'I' more than once in a paragraph!

Zephyr grinned back at the Joker's face.
"That's right, Zephyr can speak in first person also!" She grinned madly, even giggled a little bit, but it was a stifled giggle. Then she got thoughtful.
"You know....if the situation calls for it..."

Zephyr shrugged.
"Basically, it's if I feel like it. I kinda have a feel about this stuff. Sometimes I feel the situation calls for I, but most of the time I just enjoy referring to myself in first person. Like this, since I'm explaining something, I figure it would be best to speak in first person simply in the hopes that the people I'm explaining to will be better able to understand what I'm trying to say. Savvy?" She paused to stare at the Joker for a long moment, before turning her head away to add,
"So sayeth Zephyr!"

"Oh, I see..." Joker said, and then turned his attention back to the Batman. "Oh, wait, that's RIGHT, you're here now! Oh, how rude of me! Especially after all this time, and every time I had a party, you NEVER ONCE turned down an invitation. Always punctual. I just knew from the first day I saw you, we were going to be the BEST of FRIENDS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Joker looked at the hostage that Zephyr was only too kind to grab for them earlier. "Boy, come here; it's your hero, the Batman! Come get a good, close look at him! Come on!"
The boy looked at the Joker, and them back to Batman, and began running toward the Dark Knight, tears in his eyes, when suddenly...
There were no more tears, nor was there a face anymore, as Joker had pulled out a normal revolver and fired straight through the kid's skull. Brain matter splattered everywhere on the roof. The Joker couldn't help but smile at his own handiwork. "Oh, NO! Whoever would DO such a TERRIBLE thing? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Zephyr slumped sadly.
"Awe...that was MY hostage!" She ran over to the Joker and stomped her foot and crossed her arms.
"You owe me a new hostage! A kid! Zephyr wants a kid!"

Something shifted behind her eyes, something very not human, but only for a moment.
"The Shadow Force says that it would be a waste of its time, and that if anything it would force all of you people of significance in this city into a game in it's dimension, just to see if any of you would even come close to winning." Zephyr stated matter-of-factly.
"Then the winners would be granted unparalleled prizes and the losers would have their very essence devoured as they morph into something entirely new." She explained. Then she smiled up at the Joker.
"You would be made into a chair...with cushions...big fancy cushions, and you would decorate one of the many sitting rooms..." She smiled pleasantly up at him.
