"The train leaves at nine, I woke up at 8:45, try sitting down to have a nice cuppa then," he smiled, adjusting so he could be comfortable while she made herself comfortable.

"Why you wake up so late if you know you had to catch the train?" She asked. Tom had been relying on her self for so long she did not understand how people failed to do things that needed to be done, like waking up in time to eat breakfast.

"What ever." She said and closed her eyes a little tired. "And I was sleepy all this summer but you did not see me getting to my shift late, then again you did not see me at all…”

"I'm not going to argue with you about this." She said and snuggled closer to him Just as they arrived. She then hoped up out of his lap and out of the carriage, half walking half dancing into the school.

Gabi waved at both of them when they said hi. For some reason she was rather sleepy and didn't talk much on the ride up. Hopping out of the carriage she was about to follow Tom when James offered his arm. With big smiles she said, "Of course!" She took it and walked arm and arm. "Are you excited about Huffles beating you this year?" She said with a wink.

Gabi gave a fake gasp, "Is that a threat Mr. James?" She moved a little away from him in fake surprise of his jest. "You know the Huffles rarely lose points," she said with a wiggle of her eyebrows. They were closing in on the main hall and Tom.

Tom danced into the great hall to sit though the magic talking hat show before she allowed to eat. The hatting did not take as long she thought it would, and soon they were allowed to eat... Tom was not a fussy eater or one of those girls who didn't eat much. Tom could eat. She piled her plate with potato’s and meat, pudding and biscuits. "Yum!" She exclaimed filling her face.
do we have new staff?
but we don't have a headmaster to speak and no first years to sort.

((Erm... so that was a bit abrupt, skipping the headmaster's speech/sorting and the presentation of new faculty etc.))
((Well, Third year for my character to be teaching. But I wasn't sure if Schnoz wanted to do the opening speech or add anything... just seemed like a lot of material to skip over to just jump to dinner))

((Well, Locke Lamora is an NPC sorta character (Although I may make a profile for her later), but I think it's okay to skip over the sorting and the speech))
"Threat?" he looked at her with a smile, then paused as they got to the great hall. "Darn, you have to sit with your friends." he pouted. "Well... I'll see you around," he smiled softly at her.

Gabi giggled and gave James a peck on the cheek. "Ah don't miss me too much," she teased as she ran over to her table. The Hufflepuff girl all started chattering saying things like, "Where were you?" And "How was your summer?" ect. Gabi gave them all an update and cheered for every new one that got into Hufflepuff. The new ones smiled as they were chosen and were patted on the back by the other students.

Tom stuffed her face with expensive tasting foods and dink. Over the summer she had survived on instant soup and generous customer's tips. Seeing her eat this way was rather humorous to her fellow Gryffindors but she did not care, good food made her incredibly blissful, and sleepy.
