Lokail kicked another rock at Hikaru, shouting some insult about him needing to do better if he hoped to get anywhere. Then he walked over to Rush for a moment. He looked at his nephew frowning, it was like him to expect perfection out of his students, yet he knew there wasn't really such thing as perfect. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a Sunagakure headband.
Well Rush, i'm still disappointed at the mission results. However, ever since you've joined this team you've shown maturity, leadership, and that you can hold your own. However, you're still MILES away from being anywhere near a shinobi i'm proud of. THAT GOES FOR THE REST OF YOU TO!!! He shouted at his other students. He had to be tough if they were to improve. Take this Suna headband, and compete in the Chuunins. Redeem yourself for the last mission, Rush. And try not to embarrass me, your teacher by doing something stupid like dying. And with that he returned to Hikaru's training. Hikaru! I expect you to redeem yourself as well, got it!?

Rush could sense some tiny sliver of . . . not appreciation . . .not gratuity . . .not care . . .semi-recognintion? Yeah, Lokail could kinda recognize Rush's growth. Not pride, but its close enough by his standards. The headband replaced the konoha one around his left bicep, warm cloth signaling his new home. Rush did heed Lokail's words, and wished no attempt to embarass him firther. He'd do his best until that length ran short, then he'd force himself to do better. He owed it to his uncle to try for what he was doing. With a salute or a flick of the wrist close to it, Rush turned around, gesturing farewell to his teammates, and opened the scroll. There was some basic stuff, a lot of which he had assumed, but as he reached the end, feeling of premonition began to sink in until the last word where it hit home and Rush felt the world rush through him, as he seemed to phase as an incorpreal being, leaving his group, for who knows how long . . .

Hikaru dodged the rock and watched as it whizzed right by his face. "Yea, Yea. I got it." Hikaru said in an irritated voice as he picked lint out of his ear. with no more rocks coming at him Hikaru took the opportunity to practice his wind chakra exercise. killing two birds with one stone if you will. Hikaru began to focus his wind element chakra into his left middle and index fingers. He could feel an odd tingling feeling in his fingers that was Hikaru thought for a moment about a way to speed up his training then it came to him. he can combine his chakra training with his rock dodging. "Hey Lokail throw another boulder at me!" Hikaru shouted. It was a bold move but it just might work.

Hikaru was rather irritated now as he got no response from Lokail. Fine I don't need his help I'll just continue my training on my own. Hikaru thought to himself as he took a few deep breaths and got ready to try to focus his wind chakra again. He made the tori Hand seal figuring it was the most appropriate seal for wind. He began to concentrate and draw his chakra. it was different from his normal, and fire chakra. it felt like his chakra was spinning around his fingers. This is it. Hikaru thought as he made a flicking motion with his left middle and index fingers. all of a sudden a big blade of wind seemed to come out of nowhere right in front of his fingers. the blade flew extremely fast and went about thirty feet in front off him and it cut through about four trees like butter before dispersing just as fast as it had appeared. Hikaru watched as it looked like the blade of wind passed through the trees without doing anything. then like magic the four trees began dropping one by one. Hikaru was so stunned he couldn't move for a few seconds. "Wow. Now that was cool. I just need to get some control. maybe I'll use a little less chakra next time." Hikaru said as he came back to reality and got ready to try it again.

(( TRAINING CONTINUES! ))
(( BALLIN'! And +5 with my chakra control correct?! (: )) Lokail sensei's words rang in her head, it was true, she needed to become stronger to represent her sensei in the way he deserved. I think this is as close to a compliment we're ever going to get, Mika said with a slight grin. Maintaining the grin, the small girl flipped her hair from her face and widened her stance. Lifting her left hand from her side to almost eye-level, Mika closed her eyes. Concentration is key, I need to do this. With her eyes closed, Mika focused on breathing. From her torso, breathes came in and out. Then, like a wave, she felt power coming from her body. Slowly, she forced the energy from her core, up her left arm, towards her hand and finally out her fingers. Mika's eyes shot open and she drew her arm over her shoulder and forced the chakra from her fingertips, to the tree.

Lokail looked at Mika and then Hikaru. A generally apathetic look crossing his face. He looked at Hikaru, still not sure if he was alright with his punk attitude he was taking up as late. Mika was so far doing fine however. And because of that he had no reason to pull her from training... Though she did seem like good bait for Hikaru... No, no, tying her to train tracks wouldn't be good right now. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a shiney golden coin. He walked over to the edge of the lake and looked down.
Hikaru, do you fear what you can't see? What's under the water? I hide everything i'm ashamed of down there, everything i hate... Do you fear it? And with that he flipped the coin into the blue water. It sunk to the bottom dissapearing quickly. If you're afraid, you may continue your training. If you feel you can brave it, please bring me back my coin. The choice is truthfully yours.

(( Omg.. that sounds so horrible dark and sinister.. I like it.. hehe ))
A smile came across Mika's face as she forced her chakra to damage the tree. I finally did it! As Mika continued to cheer for herself in her head she heard Lokail sensei tell Hikaru of his new exercise. The warm thoughts in her head quickly faded into fear. Anything Lokail is afraid of.. must be an.. abomination.. With this thought Mika turned back towards the tree and raised her hand with pointer and middle finger extended. Maybe, if I finish this quickly Lokail sensei will allow me to help Hikaru. This time around, she did not close her eyes. Mika felt the life from within her swell in her torso. With her chakra focused in her core, Mika forced it up and through her arm, through her hand and through her fingers. She then swung her arm downward like an axe in the direction of the tree. Her chakra flew from her and left another mark on the tree's trunk.

A small grin crept across the young girls face as the mark was created. Maybe I'm getting better at this. Once again, Mika lifted her left hand up to her chest before she tried to concentrate. While trying to swell her chakra, Mika's mind wondered. To her friend Hikaru, he was going to go on a possibly life threatening exercise. Mika wanted to become stronger, but at what cost? Without thinking, Mika threw her arm forward at the tree. That was not enough chakra.. I need to pay more attention. With that, she took a step back from the tree. Focus Mika, you need to focus. The girl looked around at the two shinobi around her, both where unbelievably stronger than her. She desperately wanted to reach their levels. With a flourish, Mika approached the tree again to begin again.

Mika bowed her head to the tree, thinking. Maybe if I tried it a different way. Though, I have no idea.. The girl brought her head back up with eyes closed. Mika searched inside herself for the well of chakra. She thought to herself, This is a rather small well.. Mika shook her head to stop her digression. She visualized the chakra flowing from the well through her body. Circulating in sync with her circulatory system. The two flow as one. Mika tried to force both streams to her hand and through her fingers. But, nothing happened, there was no spark of chakra between her small fingers. The girl then lowered her hand again, soon followed her head.
(( I'm sorry if this sounds kinda weird.. I'm not in my brightest mood right now. Mika is not going to give up. ))

Mika had forgotten the beauty of the lush greens below her until she lowered her head. It truly was magnificent. The image of the plant filled ground below her drove her. She would over time become a young ninja, hopefully with the beauty and power of the thriving ground below her. I've got to try. No, not try. I have to do my absolute best. The girl took a step back from the tree, and closed her light brown eyes. Mika was trying to feel. Feel the essences of the tree's, the rocks, the sand, and the water around her. If only she could gather from its power. Just as many ancient religions of the world, Mika's goal was to concentrate on nothing. The small gust's of wind had her hair swaying in her face. Allow me to tap into your immense power.. But as Mika brought herself back to her reality, she felt no different. No more or less powerful than before. Mika pursed her lips in disapproval at herself.

Hikaru watched as Lokail tossed the coin into the water. Hikaru then smiled as he said. "Lokail if there's anything i have learned from the last mission it would be that taking something to lightly could lead to my death but also fear serves no purpose and holds you back. I shall retrieve your coin while giving it my all and removing all fear from my being. From hear on I will fear nothing." Hikaru said as he stretched out a little bit before diving in after the coin knowing Lokail had something up his sleeve . The water was extremely dark and Hikaru couldn't see three feet in front of his face but knew that many secrets in life are worth protecting and the fact that Lokail would share his past with Hikaru gave a sense of pride and made him feel like he could take on anything. and with that Hikaru began to swim down to retrieve the coin. all the while one thought was blazing in his head, I wont let you down this time Lokail Sensei. I swear it!
[btw pon. he never said lokail was afraid. just ashamed. its probably something good lol like childhood memories in the park XD. *Stares at the piranha coming at him.* OMG theres scorpions attached to their backs. lol]
