I does. ^^ it's the drum major! Haha but all the girls like him, so it's kinda natural. Then I had this MAJOR crush on one of my fellow saxophonists (he's a junior, and I'm a freshman xD) and we actually made-out a few times and like, kissed on the bus and stuff. He was all sweet, then stuff happened and he turned douche. crying Is ok though, cause there's another guy...hehe. He's so sweet! He's a sophomore and a trombonist xD haha!

When I was in marching band there was this saxophonist who I thought was really hot. lol
Not having been in marching band for the last few years I don't really have any marching band crushes... But I do CONCERT band! Right now I'm really crushing over an oboist and clarinetist.

My first, and only boyfriend, and I have been dating for a little over a year now. He was the drum major last year. He was a senior, and I a freshman.
One day the seniors had a program with this lady telling them not to date freshmen because they want to take advantage of them and freshmen want to date an older guy/ girl to be popular and stuff. He was mad about that for a week. He loathed the woman. haha

The trumpets and drummers are the most of the people that the girls go for it seems. dx Umm... I can't really say myy person cuz people from my school are on here. sweatdrop

The past three girls that dated drummers all said, "I'm through with band guys." I didn't want to be in the same situation so we just talked for three months. The band had to set up our dates and my friend wrote him a note saying I was too chicken to ask him out. They would invite us to the movies then none would show up and if we set it up they would call right before the movie and say they couldn't come.

If you don't have any experience with any instruments I would suggest pit. You don't have to march and it's easy to learn, at least it was for me. I played sax through middle school and switched to pit because I wanted to play percussion. I made auditions for 2nd bass but chose pit because I dislocated my knee and had troubles with it. I then learned I have no rhythm in my feet so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. haha But anyway, pit is fun. You should try. smile

Yeah, I've thrown about my emotions recently... I had a 1 1/2 year crush on one girl (clarinet), then actually fell in love with another, for ~2 months (mellophone). Now, I'm going back and forth rapidly between my heart and my logic (tenor sax) But I've met girls at honor bands and community bands that are really cool. There's a really pretty French horn player that I'm getting to know, and an even prettier baritone player. The bari lives like, 10 minutes from me, if I could get to know her, that would be awesome. Besides the very few adventures into romance, I'm not a big fan of the females in my area...

I like someone in my band, same section (trumpet ftw), and he's a really nice kid, absolute sweetheart, and when I was on vacation, he was constantly commenting on my status updates telling me to come back home cause he missed me. Hopefully one day he'll figure it out.....

I like this one guy who plays trumpet and trombone at the moment. He's a sophomore and I'm a freshie *blush*. I think he used to like me at the beginning of the year because he'd talk to me and hug me when I had to leave to go somewhere(and he's not a huggy huggy guy who hugs everyone in sight), but we drifted apart after marching season due to me being in wind symphony and him in symphonic. He asked me to be on his team for a band get together (I was the only girl he asked; the rest were guys and another mello's girlfriend), too, but like I said, we don't talk much anymore due to concert season and different friend circles.

In our city we had an All-City Honor Band for a short time. It was where all the best players from the four high schools in our city would get together and practice. Anyway, I play french horn and I was last chair there confused and I sat next to this very friendly and nice (and sorta cute) sax player. I think he sorta had a thing for me too but unfortunately after our concert, we never saw each other again (he goes to Kaiser and I go to Summit). sad

I, a flute player, have been with my tuba-playing boyfriend for 19 months. :3
We started talking to each other my freshman year a lot and became really good friends. We got together during marching season my sophomore year. n__n
