Poetic Lilly

Alice laughed gently. She was much happier now. ”How horrible of me,” Alice said in reply, ”Thank you, Cheshire, for bringing me back to Wonderland…and yes, it does. I wonder how our friend Hatter will respond to the new fit.” Another giggle.

"Oh dear, sweet child," Cheshire's sinister voice muses as the paw prints curve around a tree, "the Hatter only becomes more and more perverse with age. I do not even begin to fathom what delights he would have in mind should he realise you were once again within his grasp." Coming to another tree, the paws separate, the left side appearing on one side of the tree, the right side appearing on the other. "Tell me, what will you do now that you are home?"

"First, I believe that I shall seek a home, I need a place of my own here, now...but when should I tell Hatter that I have returned to here, and home?" Alice asked, her skirts calmly swaying and bouncing with each step. The slight desire for some mischief was obvious in her tone.

"I have never seen the point in a stationary residence," the invisible cat muses to her, "There is nothing at all exciting about holding still for that long. If you are looking to rest your head, simply find a large, unoccupied mushroom."

As if to demonstrate, the paw prints vanish from the grass and a nearby mushroom suddenly bows beneath the weight of an unseen assailant. "And as for the Hatter, twere I you, I would go find your gentlemen caller the moment you felt a longing for devious intentions. I can assure you, he would be most happy to oblige."

"OH, I see." Pinocchio said slightly unnerved, he had heard of hags, and they were more like to use him for kindling. Knotts voiced snarled into his mind, *They even TRY to do it and I'll personally turn them into bite-siazed fish food!*

*well it's good to see that you stopped moping.* Pin retorted in his head in a droll voice rolling his eyes under his head, then he spoke to the ladies, "So what are you doing going to the coast?"

Having flown all over the sount half of the island, HIS half of the island, Peter still he hadn't found Tink or anything interesting to do. So bored in his quest for adventure he decided to go to the human world. but flying there took forever and he never knew whered he'd end up. "But that is the fun in it after all!" he yelled as he landed in a strange little forest that, for some reason, reminded him of Neverland. He floated around searching for something interesting when he happenstanced upon a beautifal medaow of golds and greens of all hues.

As Peter scans his new surroundings, a sudden blurr of white fur shoots from between two of the trees and into a large patch of wildgrowth. Although he doesn't get a good look at the creature, it could not have been taller than mid-waist. He hears the faint mutterings of ".. I'm late.. I'm late.." from somewhere within the brush, leaves rustling as it pushes it's way through the foliage. Then without warning, both the rustlings and the mutterings stop.

"What in NeverLands strange mirth was that?" Peter whispered as he floated curiosly towards... Whatever it was that had passed on by. He flew in low and fast hoping to catch a glimpse of the creature at least. he spotted a blur of white jumping down a hole, a rabbithole by the looks of it, but HUGE, big enough that one would have to jump to get to the other side and black as midnight inside. peter leaned over the side trying to peer into it's dark depths, then, the next thing he knew, he was slowly falling in as hte rock he was standing on lurched beneath hi feet, as if the earth was swallowing him whole.

Red said nothing as the introductions were finally made, focusing only on rotating the spit and noticing the wonderful smell. She was not, however, ignoring the conversation. 'The coast...I wonder what we shall do there...' she wondered, amusing herself with the reminder that she was here on a whim. Whims had not been permitted, but this girl, Molly, did strange things to her. Red supposed it started when she had shown care in that first act of making her leave her precious cottage. But Red had become devoted when Molly had saved her from The Voice with that curious ring. Yes, Red felt safe, and this was something she had not felt since The Wolf.

Safety, whim, and conversations were so foreign to Red, yet she found herself content with their company.

She's not so little anymore...

Tinkerbell

User Image

Lost and alone in the woods with no light other than that glowing off of her own body made Tinkerbell's spirits drop like a rock. Clueless, on what to do and where to go she gave a deep sigh. Though to anyone who was unacquainted with fairies would find it to be rather high pitched. Her silken wings slowing down she rested upon the petal of a wildflower. What else was there to do other than wait for the sunrise to lead her away? After her recent relaxing sleep upon a human's heel she was wide awake and the strange unknown sounds of the forest kept her on guard. Okay...I think it might be best to keep moving. Who knows what kind of fairy eating mongrels live out here. Continueing on she remained to appear as a candle lit lantern of a traveler from a distance.

I wonder if Peter is looking for me. Does he even notice that I'm gone? The possibility of a no to that question sent Tinkerbell into a frenzy. Only being capable of having one emotion pass through her at a time was a major problem, though all fairies were like that. In her frenzy she flew around as if she was in a drunken craze. Clumsily bumping and bounce off of tree trunks, randomly zig zagging through the unknown forest.

Strange Little Horror
Follow the breadcrumbs...

With her first chore done, Gretel made her way outside to water the fragrant, protective flowers encompassing the modest cottage. With a strong longing to explore, but too scared of her brother’s warnings and what he should is she disobeyed, the dear young woman watered silently, listening intently to the low hum of the forest.

...If you dare

As Gretel moves around the modest little cottage, watering her flowers, she suddenly hears a yelping emited from somewhere above her. A few seconds later, there is the jumbled thud and rustlings of limb and leaf as Peter falls from the sky, tumbling into the thick wildgroth skirting the cottage.

As Tink randomly flurries through the darkened forest, a clash of thunder sounds above the wooded canopy. As that same moment, Tink bounces off of one of the tree trunks and finds herself thrown into a grand clearing. Shaded emerald grass shudders softly as the storm winds pick up, the clearing framed by the tall protective timbers surrounding the courtyard. A magnificent, archaic mansion stands at the end of the grassy stretch, surrounded by covered, flickering torch lights determined to withstand the troubled winds.

The small meadow leads into a lavish garden. Paths carved of weathered stone, flanked by wild flowers and overgrown roses, are decorated by an occasional pillar garnished with climbing ivy and thick moss. The breach in the forest canopy extends over the entirety of the courtyard, exposing the unfriendly clouds and initial smatterings of rain. On the other side of the clearing, opposite of the main residence, Tink sees fine stables and an enclosed pavilion, also ornamented with wild growth.

"I always enjoy devious attentions...and oh my, I do need to find something with cover. It looks much like a storm..." Alice spoke, realizing this out aloud. She sighed a bit, and wrinkled her nose in irritation.

"I've got some business to attend to at the coast," Molly replies as the meat cooks up. Now that the critters were seasoned, she lets Red take over the cooking there while she returns her attention to the soup. "I'm looking for someone, and I've heard he's heading that way. So, that way it be. It dun matter who he is, cause you haven't heard of him anyway," she finishes slightly tartly, marking the end of any line of questioning that could have come out of that statement. She takes to stirring the orange coloured soup, and it starts to radiate a warm, richly flavoured scent.

Shaking off the unpleasantness that the coast reminds her of, Molly draws out the laddle. "You want a taste?" she asks Red with a smile, "or you want it to be a surprise?"

Hare bowed when his name was mentioned, his eyes broken from the strange guests form. "Of course, of course!" Hare jumped slightly and nodded vigorously, grabbing the purple teapot and with a flourish pouring the steaming dark liquid first into Todd's tea, then the guest's, and finally his own. He managed to spill a bit onto some plates, but ignored it. He sat down unsteadily, the chair rocking a moment before it landed with a small thud back on all four legs, and he looked from Todd to the guest, not sure who was more worthy of his gaze at the moment.

Belle had had enough of standing out in the dark. It was time to make an introduction. She put the arrow back into her quiver and slung her bow over her shoulder. Belle walked to the entrance of the cave where the wooden person and the two women were sheltering. A wonderful aroma was coming from inside. She called into the cave, "Hello? I hope we're not intruding, but my...companion and I were around and were hoping for some shelter for the night. Mind if we join you?" She hoped she sounded friendly enough. If she didn't then maybe Odette's shy demeanor would help.

Odette watched as Belle strode over to the entrance of the cave. Not wanting to be left behind she clumsily put her bow on her shoulder and put the arrow back in her own quiver and silently followed the more confident woman. She stood next to Belle as she called into the cave and they both waited for a response.
