Rosco astonished even himself when he didn't bite Itami's head off for picking him up. But that would take to much energy. He shifted slightly and felt the rough bark against his cheek and sighed. He didn't want to be the dependent one, or the one that brought everything to a halt. Rosco wrapped his stick thin arms around each other like it was the only thing in the world that would keep him from falling to pieces. Not a terribly pleasant feeling. "Hn." Was the two lettered word that fell out. It was something that could be roughly translated into any number of sentences or words. In this case, it meant something along the lines of 'whatever'. His eyes closed to half lids, as the child stared mesmerized into the fire. It was one of those times where people got the illusion that everything was alright. Everything was certainly not alright.

((omg!!! I'm so sorry!! Internet died out on me!!! And I'm affraid that this will have to be my last post... I have school tomorrow..It's 1 am here and i need to get up at 7 am... sorry!!!))

Lacey watched Itami and Rosco for a moment or two. She felt bad for her sharpness, but didn't regret it enough to take it back, either. Lazily, she let her gaze drift to the new girl. The other twin.
Funny. Itami had claimed them as part of the family, but Lacey still felt that distance, that sense of 'Other'. Dismissing it, she looked back at Lance. "Are you...?" she began.
Lance nodded briefly and gave her shoulder a quick, supportive pat before wandering over to pick up Lacey's berry bowl from where it lay next to Kiho. His only acknowledgement of her was a quick dip of the head and a muttered, "Hey."
Then he walked back to his sister and showed her the contents of the bowl. At her affirmative nod, he left the group in the woods and went off towards the town.
Lacey gave a small sigh and sat down, leaning against the tree. She wrapped her arms around her knees and rested her head on them, already awaiting her brother's return.
It was uncomfortable to be parted from him for very long. What if someone found them again? What if...
No. Lance wouldn't let it happen. And neither, she thought, would she. They were already taking care of it.

Amy gave a soft giggle and turned her head to him again. "Well... I knew your first name but I didn't know your last" a lazy smile was evident on her face.

She smiled and softly nudged his shoulder with hers. She liked this boy, she didn't know why but she liked him. "Don't worry about Kiho, Itami will make sure she's okay"

Lance crossed into town, walking silently. One hand slipped into his pocket to feel the reassuring sense of silver wire against his fingers. If Lacey's concoction didn't work, he always had something to fall back on.
Of course, it would work. Lacey was good at what she did.
But still, having a backup was the difference between getting a victim or getting dead. He had no intention of getting dead when he had a sister who depended on him. Sure, Itami and the family would look after Lacey if he died, but it wouldn't be the same.

Amy gave a soft smile and bit her lip. Suddenly she hugged Hito. "Don't worry. Everything will be okay now" she whispered to the younger boy. She however didn't pull away wondering how he would react to their fysical contact

Hiro tensed slightly, but relaxed and placed a hand on her arm, he never let anyone hug him, what was wrong with him.

Amy smiled and softly nuzzled her head into the crook of his shoulder. "you don't have to worry about a thing now. We all look out for eachother" she told him. She didn't really want to pull away but did and gave him a soft smile
