Spaniard The Last Angel

PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 11:39 pm

Israel gave a shy smile and went into the bathroom, picking up a magazine with names of bands he had never heard of. Shrugging, he randomly picked up the long sleeve design shirt and the jeans. He tucked in his shirt and put on his belt out of habit. Just for the fun of it, he put on a green shirt over the longsleeve, tucking it in. He opened the bathroom door and held his arms out.

"Well?"

James sat up and looked at him. "Why do you feel like you need to tuck your shirt in?" He asked, "It fits nice on you, but that's a bit odd." He stood so that he could see from a better perspective, "Unless you want to show off you slim waist line, which I can totally understand." He winked and put a hand to his hip, trying to get a better understanding.

Israel shivered slightly wen James touched his waist and for a moment he wished the jeans weren't so tight.

"I-I uh... the shirt does not need to be tucked?" He didn't know how to be informal. The only other attire he wore was that of an alter boy.

"Um... can you.... fix it?"

James laughed "It's not that hard, It's only clothing." He griped the bottom on the shirt jut before it disappeared into the pants and tugged up, un tucking the shirts completely Then he smoothed them down a little, and took a step back. "Unique." He said teasing the boy and complementing him at the same time. "How do you feel?" he asked and put an arm around the boy's neck to tuck in a tag that was sticking out.

Israel blushed again, if it was possible for him to continue his blushing and replied softly. "Warm..." It was true, he was rather warm, but then a shiver ran up his spine when James put his arm around him, accidentally triggering a soft spot of his neck.

I should leave... now.

But he didn't move.

James frowned slightly, "Well, you could take off the long sleeve layer, and just wear the tee." He stepped back and shrugged, "I've got a pair of shorts you might fit, but I don't know if you're into that." He did not know if the boy was ready to show any leg at all he seemed to have never worn not fancy clothes before, and James could not go formal if he wanted to. He never owned nice things because his parents did not buy them.

"Um, right... I think I'll keep these pants... um... wow, its warm..."

Without thinking, he quickly reached for the bottom of the two shirts, pulling them up and over his head so that only his muscular, toned body showed.

You aren't THAT hot! Put the shirt on! PUT IT ON!

Too late of course, the shirts were already off and Israel now stood dumbfounded at his own action, wishing he could just crawl under a rock.

James smiled at the boy and turned. "Want a pop?" He asked and walked towards the counter, he grabbed two cans of Diet Canadian Ale and cracked the top on one, taking a swig. "Their tasty." He said and walked back over to sit on the bed. “Do they have ginger ale in Spain?” He asked, they did not serve it on the ship and he had been very disappointed.

While James had gone to the kitchen, Israel had quickly slipped on the green tee, though he did it quite fast and it ended up on backwards. He took the can, not knowing exactly what it was, but repeated the same action as James, waving his hand when he accidentally pinched himself on the top.

"Um, no, we don't... well, were I come from anyway. I am from a very traditional part of the country, not much modern technology." He said this while looking at the can, sniffing the open portion and then snorting softly. The bubbles had gotten in his nose.

"Traditional? Is pop not traditional?" He laughed and took another swig of his can, it was half gone now. He thought about what the boy's life might be like. "I should really learn that if I want to become an ambassador." He grinned and watched Israel try the new treat. "What do you want to be when you get a job?" He asked, his voice kind and curious, he always liked to find out what people had planed for them selves.

Israel frowned in curiosity while James talked and subconciously took a sip of the pop, feeling it burn his tounge at first, but once he got over the initial sensation he took another sip and it wasn't so bad. Infact, he found it enjoyable and began to take larger sips. He looked up when he heard James' tone which to a question.

"Oh um... I plan on becoming a... how you say... padre... um... a preist, yes. Of my church." He said this with a smile on his face. "It would have made my mother proud, and so I will do it." He gave a small burp, a result of the pop and covered his mouth in surprise. "Excuse me."

James nodded. "Christianity, right? or Judaism?" He was really not the informed when it came to anything religious. "So you want to stay in town then? I could not stand being in one place for so long, It's to trapping." He drank the remainder of his pop, then tossed it across the room, making it in the trash can. "Does preaching make you happy?" He asked. He found this very interesting, not really knowing anything about it.

Israel gave a shrug a smiled when he saw James made his can into the trash.

"Well, I am Roman Catholic, which means that I would be a priest but with luck, I could move up in the order of well, things, and become a cardinal or bishop in time. Then I would live at the Vatican City with the Pope in Italia." He frowned at the thought. 'In time' meant some 30 or 40 years. He took a sip of the pop, now half way done, as he blinked away the thought. "And um, its not so much preaching as it is... giving advice to others, and helping them and telling them the path of the bible... " He gave a smile like alittle boy, one that was hard to come by with his mature features. "I like the stories... " He admitted. "And you? What makes, an ambassador's job intresting to you?"
