The feeling of being possessed was something Calum could understand. He went through it every month. Frowning, he asked, "Who won't shut up?"
He reached out a hand to Syd.

He blinked, he felt weird, suddenly talking about Dreville after he hadn't brought her up in so long, even though she was there, she didn't bugged him until 'he' told Calum he no longer loved him. "Dreville..." He muttered, a piercing scream ringing throughout his ear. He reached out to grab Calum's hand, but he yelped, and four little scratch marks slashed across his cheek. He shook, one hand placed on his cheek, fine trickles of blood falling from under his hand. Still, he reached out, and took Calum's hand.

"Dreville?" As he said the name, it clicked in his head. It had been so long that he had forgotten about her. A low growl rumbled up as he kept a tight hold on Syd's hand. Eying the trickling blood, he sat up and reached out to wrap his arm around Syd.

He twitched, as it suddenly subsided and she disappeared once again. He was too old for random spurts of rage. He fell against Calum and wrapped his arms around him, "I'm sorry," He repeated.

"Stop saying that," mumbled Calum. He looked over the cuts on Syd's cheek, then leaned in to kiss them. "Why does she do this to you?"

"But I can't..." He muttered, frowning and looking away. He winced slightly as the cuts were kissed, "I don't know..." He said. He looked around, and when he was sure she had gone off somewhere, he sighed, "She must be jealous..." He mumbled, "It's only when I'm with someone. She's nice when I'm alone..."

"She hurts you because you're with me?" He frowned and began to pull away.

He nodded, and tightened his grip on Calum as he moved away, "But don't leave...!" He said, "I don't care if she hurts me. I'd put myself through anything if it meant I could be with you."

"I'm not worth that. I'm not worth you getting hurt." But despite his words, he wrapped his arms back around Syd. His mind whirling to try and figure out what all Dreville could do to Syd. His imagination running wild.

Syd shook his head, "No...you're worth much more than just that.." He leaned up, and despite his bleeding cheek, he kissed Calum lightly on the lips.

Calum tried to ignore the smell of the blood as his stomach fluttered pleasantly. "I missed you, and how you make me feel.." He paused. "What all can Dreville do?"

Syd smiled, "I missed you too..." He shrugged, "I don't know...I suppose should could do anything...she could kill me if she wanted, but, it wouldn't matter, she told me she doesn't like dying..." He frowned, "It's ridiculous, but I think if I die, she'll die."

"Is she a part of you?" mumbled Calum, trying to stare anywhere but at Syd's bloody cheek. But unable to resist, his gaze was drawn to the cheek. A growl bubbled in his stomach and his eyes darkened as he stared at the cheek.

He shrugged, and then nodded, "I guess so." He winced, the air stinging his cheek, and he put a hand over it.
