Siegell shook his head. "I have a few axes hooked on my saddle, and no way Shastah would let anyone else ride him. We're a team, and he doesn't take orders well..." He looked up. "I don't even give him orders. We just share thoughts." Slowly, he climbed to his feet, stretching. "I can call him to take the tent as soon as we're ready, but we'll need two to protect the others while the rest wrap everything up."

Share thoughts? Amelia questioned mentally, eyebrows disappearing into the fringe of hair that covered her forehead. She didn't mention it aloud, though, rising to her feet after picking her lance back up. "All right. I'll take guard duty," she offered.

"Hikaru and I can guard, as well..." Nils suggested.

Amelia smiled and nodded. "Sounds great. We can guard and you all can get everything pulled together?" she looked at the others for clarification. Amelia ran a hand through her hair and shifted her lance to her right hand.

Siegell nodded and immediately picked up a large box that gave him access to one of the stakes. Fortunately, here by the wall the tent and the area around it had been largely protected from the snow, so snow wasn't packed up around the outside of the tent, which would have made this totally impossible. "Come on, let's get this tent down and lay it out, it should be strong enough to hold plenty of food! Breads and meats first, then fruits on top so they don't get bruised!"
Siegell did not fancy the idea of widespread scurvy in there. Ew.

γ The sage lay sprawled on the ground inside the tent, one of the burdens on the group, despite all he'd done to avoid such a status. He'd wanted nothing more than to be a resource, useful to the party, not a hinderance. He'd fought to the best of his abilities, but there was only so much a sage could do, and his tomes were near the point of simply falling apart with a few more uses, their magic wearing thin. The boy had poured as much of himself behind his attacks as he could, but it had drained him much to much, the bitter cold of the snow sapping any energy he may have had in reserves as he'd plowed his way to catch up with the group. γ
γHe would need to be protected, and that would come as a handicap to the others. If only he had fresh tomes...and energy with which to wield them. Before anything, he needed the strength to pry his eyes open, and stand. Yet, the boy was not even aware of his surroundings. He'd be of no use for some time yet. γ

Amelia looked over at Soren, sprawled out on the chilly ground like a rag doll. He was exhausted already? Well, he's a mage -- usually they don't have as much stamina as front-line warriors, Amelia reasoned to herself. Seemed like he had sprinted to catch us, too...
Amelia used her free arm to gently hoist Soren up to a standing position, looking at the others. They were busy getting everything packed up, they couldn't spare a man to watch Soren while they were gathering things. Amelia went outside with an arm around Soren's shoulders, looking at Nils and Fire Dragon.
"Could one of you keep an eye on him please?" she asked with a small smile. "He should be fine as long as he gets a little rest." Amelia cast her eyes down at him, wondering if his clothing was warm enough for the chill. Already the wind was picking up a little, and Amelia hoped that wasn't a bad omen.
[[Think half-carry, half-drag for how Amelia got Soren out of the tent. xD"
And if I'm sporadic, then I'm doing chores or playing FFIII. And let's try to get back in time for the Host Club partyyyyyy! *flop*]]

"Of course, anything for the boy who gives Kaoru a Dragonstone. I'll carry him personally." the Fire Dragon offered.

Amelia smiled brightly. "Thank you! Plus, since you're the Fire Dragon, he'll have no problem staying nice and warm," she told him. Amelia let her lance drop to the snow and shifted her grasp on Soren, eventually managing to get him in both arms without jostling him about too badly. She handed the tired mage to the dragon and picked her lance back up. She tugged her hood over her head with a particularly frigid current of wind. "Let's just hope they can get everything packed quickly." Amelia cast her gaze skywards, looking futilely amongst the white-grey clouds for a white wyvern.

"Yes, let's" Fire Dragon replied back to Amelia, his gaze focused upon the fatigued Soren in his arms. He reminded the Fire Dragon of Nils almost. Fire Dragon wasn't about to let anything happen to him.
"It looks like now you'll have to try out your Dragonstone, Kaoru." The Fire Dragon focused his attention back to Nils. He gave the bard a good-natured, mischevious smile.

((Ack, I'm sorry! I disappeared. . . D: ))
Renault, who had apparently been wandering behind the whole time (for some unknown reason) moved up and assisted in packing supplies. It seemed his time as a bishop hadn't lessened his physical strength all too much; he didn't seem to have much trouble carrying anything. He was quiet, however, and didn't speak as he moved.

Ashnard returned to the group, however, how long he had been gone and where he had been gone were a mystery. "Hmmm. What's the situation?" the bulky figure asked.
