Everyone else was rather shocked. An illigitement son? Even Dante was surprised.
"Twili, I do not know much about this, I only learned of this last night." The Guildmaster answered. "The High Counciler found out on the Emporer's deathbed, and not much else is known."
"So your saying that the one person that can claim the throne rightfully could be any of the 5 Million people in the empire?" Kedri Dawnskies asked, "By the time we find him, that dammed Chaos Orgin cult will have converted half of the empire and slaughtered innocent people!"
"Which is why that I'm putting my best Hunter on the task of finding him!" Lyons looked at Dante, "Well Dante, are you and your compatriots up to the task?"
"S-s-sir? An official mission from the Imperial council?! Dante was a little shaken by the offer, he looked at his mage friends and asked "What do you guys think?"

"You want to join the mages guild, don't you Vivi? The Arch-Mage smiled "Then so be it, by the power vested in me as Arch-Mage, I now name you an apprentice in the mages guild. Robert, Twli, I hope you two can teach Vivi alot in the ways of the Arcane on your journey with Dante."

Robert looked over to Dante and gave a nod to him. "I will go with you. my magic and psychic power will be able to aide this quest quite well." Robert replied. "Do we have any leads? Perhaps the name of the late emporer's mistress?" Robert asked, looking to the gathering of guildmasters.

Alex remained quiet as the meeting went on. He Entered the meeting area & leaned towards a wall; inside the meeting area as they began to talk. When he heard that the emperor had a illegitimate child, he began to wonder, A Child?! This is very serious, If he's found out by the Chaos origin cult, then we're in trouble. But what if he's dead?! I mean, it could be a chance that they could of killed him; passing off as a regular civilian. Ok Arekkusu relax, maybe he's not dead yet... But still I wonder,,, During my travels before they attacked & after my leave in the guild, I have met many people in my journeys & saw many types of them that I never even known... Maybe... But what if the Chaos Origin cult is actually listening in on us?! It could actually bring this land into turmoil as they would slaughter all the innocent; trying to find such child. I'll take that risk. I hope that no spies are around this area... just when Robert finished asking Alex rose up another question. "More importantly... I'm a little curious about our late emperor... What is he? anyway? An Empoleon perhaps?" Alex brought out the question to the table.

After an hour of more talking about what they needed to do, Dante walked out of the guild hall. He breathed in the heavy night air.
"You guy's ready?" he called out to his group, now with the new additon of Alex from the Fighters Guild.

Robert tucked a small painted picture of Kediri into a pocket along the inside of his robes. He gave a solemn nod to Dante. "I am ready." he replied telepathically. He gave only a slight glance behind him with the feeling that it would be quite some time before he returned.

Alex quickly sharpened his sword once more, sharpened the spikes on the side of the shield, & make sure he's fully equipped & stocked with items & checked his money. Once he completed checking himself off He replied. "I'm ready... I'm sorry I didn't catch your name. In fact I didn't catch the team's name. You are?" Alex asked Dante.

Vivi readjusted his hat and checked his stuff to make sure he had what he needed.He had his book,his staff,some herbs for healing and a couple of pieces of bread for food.He nodded to himself and deemed that he was ready."I'm ready too."He said.
