Mina thought, 'I knew it. Maybe Kaden somehow saw this coming.' Mina turned to Bellatrix. "Why would you betray us," she asked.

Joker looked back and narrowed his eyes, "Did you hear that?" he asked. Joker had heard the sound of a fight, "We might be needed." he said. Joker looked at Kit, "As much as I want to continue this, we have to go." he kissed her once more and put her in the passenger seat. Joker made a very tight U-Turn and almost went of the cliff. He sped down the road and pulled up to the base. Joker got out and jogged up to the entrance, opened the door, and walked in, "What happened?" he asked.

"So your the reason why I'm here and not back in the car on his lap?!" I asked, clearly aggrivated. My fists clenched up and I tried hard not to punch her in the face.

((I would like to point out that if you read WarriorGoddessNefertiti's post carefully, she does specifically say that Bellatrix went to her own hide out, not the base.))
Joker held up a hand, "Calm down, Kit. This is important, we need to find out why so we can have a good reason for killing her." he said, reloading his gun.

I sighed and plopped down on the floor, "Must we have a good reason?" I asked, pulling out another cigarette and lighting it.

Joker took the cigarette out of Kit's mouth, "That's not good for you, and kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtry. He stepped on the death stick and turned back to Mina, "Are we going to hunt her down or what?" he asked.

Mina said at that moment, "I don't know why she would betray us. I think Kaden might be behind this, but I can't say for sure. Kaden has to be too smart to attack us with just one man, so maybe he sent that man to trigger some pent up rage in Bellatrix. I don't know for sure. It's just a theory. I could be wrong. But maybe if we capture Bellatrix alive, we can force the answers out of her, like when we forced the answers out of that man."

Joker shrugged, "True, but the wolf presents a problem. We have to capture it before she will go anywhere near us without attacking. If we torture it in front of her, it would be like torturing her." he said, "I can handle it personally." he offered quietly.

Joker frowned, "The point is, she won't talk to anyone unless she has a very, very good reason. Protecting the wolf will give her that reason." he said.

Waking up slowly Scarlet tries to sit up only to gasp in pain. Looking around she realizes she is in the medical ward at HQ. Inch by inch she moves her legs slowly to the edge and stands. Tottering from side to side she places her hands on the wall for support. Slowly and surely she walks out. Silently she comes across Joker and Kit. Hearing their plan to torture the wolf, walking into their line of sight and whimpers out, “no, until we find out what’s going on it would be unwise to go after Bellatrix. Her wolf is ten times stronger then before. Some one or some thing is giving them strength.”

Yuu runs up to Scarlet. He supports her on his shoulder. "What are you doing out here? You should be inside HQ, resting."

The smile that usually adores Scarlet’s face was not present. “Right now we need to have a meeting. Bellatrix knows all of our powers; she knows our strengths and weaknesses. We need to guard HQ, make sure everyone knows what’s going on.” She points to Kit and Joker. “You two go and round up everyone, and Yuu I want you to secure HQ; this place needs to be impenetrable.”
