i had a gift card to hastings a few years ago (i think 2005) and i wanted to buy a manga. Id never bought a manga before and so i was just browsing. A total stranger gave me a breif synopsis of Tsubasa and i decided to try it out because i thought it sounded interesting! And i took it home and read it and fell in love! heart

I was at my friends house and she handed me the book and said
"Lauren, you're going to read this! It's good!"
"Uhhh, okay."
So I read the first volume and I FELL IN LOVE. So whenever someone in our group of friends has the latest volume, the rest are like "GIVE IT TO ME WHEN YOUR DONE PRONTO!" It's fun.

When I used to read a lot of fanfiction for Cardcaptor Sakura, I had a favorite author who for the life of me I can't recall the username of.
She liked to write stories for Sakura/Syaoran and Tomoyo/Eriol, the latter of which was kind of rare to find a good fic for because of their lack of fanbase.
Anyway, she posted in her userinfo that she heard about a spinoff of CCS that CLAMP was working on called Tsubasa, in which she knew Sakura and Syaoran would be the stars but she wasn't sure about anyone else. She expressed optimism about Tomoyo and Eriol possibly showing up.
And they do show up! But I digress.
Anyway, it was years before I heard anything else about it. I guess manga takes a long time to make it past the rumor mill stage. Anyway, a few years later when I started rewatching old DVDs of CCS again, I remembered Tsubasa and quickly looked it up.
Turns out, the first volume at that point had just come out, so I got lucky and jumped on the train right away. Since then I've been buying each volume as it comes out. 3nodding

i bought the first the graphic novels in one combined edition while on a band trip... and thought it was great! xd whee

i actually got introduced by gaia. one day they had the quiz thing on my announcements so i did it. won sakuras cloak and then i watched the first couple of episodes on the internet. i love syaorans devotion to sakura. its so romantic mrgreen

Mmm~ I remember that I was really hooked on Cardcaptor Sakura, when I heard about Tsubasa Chronicles from my friend...so I checked it out and totally fell in love with it nyeh 3nodding heart

I was just on youtube, watching CCS (Card Captor Sakura) and I saw it burning_eyes . I started watching it, then I started reading the books! 4laugh

I was introduced to it from CCS then also all the cosplayers who cosplay from Tsubasa. I really didn't get hooked right away, it took me a year to actually like the series but once I got past some of the slower parts like the beginning I fell in love with the series

i got intrduced to tsubasa when my friend addam(syaoran-saber for u single laides smile ) took me to a public library and showed me it. so i got into the thing renting 2 books at once smile i read up to 8 but couldnt read anymore cause they stopped ordering it!! we are giving money to the library to order up to 50!!!!!! the library probably wont rent them but we'll try mrgreen mrgreen

Well, I first heard about it on Gaia, but never bothered to check it out. Then I saw the first volume in the library, and picked it up. I read it, but I didn't have that same passion as I do now. Then something happened. I think it was around when I discovered KuroFai, but I'm not quite sure... sweatdrop

My freind knew i was in love with CCS, so she gave me Tsubasa to read. I kept getting yelled at because i was always reading them in class.

Well from what i remember i just watched first episode of anime in TV. I liked the story so i watched next episode and so on i watched /i think/ all anime episodes ;] Later I started reading manga and I'm doing this even right now ;]

Well you see, I once found this weird wallpaper in the Naruto category on a website. I kept it because it oviously wasn't a Naruto wallpaper and I want to show it to my brother. It was a few weeks later that I realized that the girl in the wallpaper looked a lot like Sakura from Card Captor Sakura. Then I thought of something I had once heard: that CLAMP had made a crossover of all of their shows. I googled it and found out about Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. I started watching it and have been obsessed ever since. ^-^

Wow. It was such a shocker when I first saw Tsubasa because as a kid, I ABSOLEUTELY ADORED Cardcaptors. Then in gr.7, I had this new friend who had lots of manga. One day, I saw her holding vol.1 to Tsubasa and I said "Whoah. That girl and guy looks like the people from Cardcaptors!" Afterwards, she told me that "They kinda are." So from that point on, I was hooked. I still love tsubasa after about 4 years. whee

Luckily, my library is still ordering them...I think. I think it's up till vol.15. that's why I sometimes read it online.
