However, the confrontation was not to be so. Out of the crowd of people four men in dark uniforms showed up, one with dark blue energy crackling around his right hand... Excuse me, but this city is a strict no fighting zone... If you do not cease and desist in your actions, we will have no choice but to take you into custody. The four men were none other than Lamentian Officers. Skilled in the arts of magic and elemental abilities, they were trained in many forms of combat, and if that couldn't quell the situation, the automatic rifles at their backs were well greased and full of amunition, ready to put a stop to any troublesome individuals that decided to disobey the law.

He grunted, as the man who confronted Vega disappeared. Vega then turned around, and walked forward, withdrawing his sword.

Braiddan had a hand on another scroll but took his hand off of it and put his jacket back on covering his metallic black arm. The silver haired man disappeared as well . Braiddan let out a sigh of relief thankful that the officers came to prevent the confrontation.

Shadow spins her knives artistically back into place and gives a low huff and a growl, her ears slowly and hesitatingly starting to pick back up, her tail giving hesitant flicks every once and a while. "What the hell was that about.." her voice is slightly scared, yet rather annoyed. Who the hell throws energy at someone in the middle of a crowded city? She would kill him if she could get her hands on him. Turning to the men, she sighs. "Sorry officer. We got attacked, we were only planning to defend ourselves."
Sweeping her long hair from her eyes, she ties it back and lets out her air quickly. "This week has not gone as planned.." She thinks of the apartment she had planned to move into, and how she wasn't getting out of this city for a while. Sighing, she rubs her forehead where a sharp migraine had started to form, but lowers her hands and looks to the officers once again, wondering if she would have any more trouble with them

"I believe I must go far...to be able to confront the one I'm looking for."
He explained, as he turned around.
"I believe I'm going to have to embark on a long journey."

Cocking her head at him, shadow sighs and looks to the police. "Maybe they would have some answers for us." Looking to them, she steps forward, eyeing their weapons warily, as she hoped they wouldn't take it as a hostile movement

Vega turned around, and decided to take her word.
"Perhaps you're right."
He too, walked towards the police, withdrawing his sword.

The one who had spoken before raised an eyebrow as the riff raff left, and then looked quizzically towards the people.
Is there... Something that I can help you with?
His voice was questioning, but still tough, filled with the authority of command. The other three Officers remained incase there was more trouble.

Shadow motions for the others to be quiet for a while, and speaks, her eyes darting around at the men as she does so. "Well.. we want a place where we can find answers, where the police won't bother us about fighting off things that attack us, and where we can find somewhere to live." She had thought of the three of them, and come up with this list, and looks to the boys, wondering if they had anything to add to this.
Looking hopefully up to the police, she nods, showing that she was done

Vega said real quietly, feeling his plan to travel was to seek his answers.

Braiddan stayed silent looking at the police. His mind wandered off thinking about the man who claimed to be his brother he remembers the whole ballte but can't remember the man's name

Shadow's eyes glance back at the boys, since she was at the front of the group. Vega close behind, and Braiddan a little whiles back, silent. She knew that what had just happened had been a jog to his memory and possibly a shock to him, but she couldn't talk to him with the cops staring her down.
She looks again expectantly to the police in front of her, her amber eyes searching.

Vega then rose his head up, and looked at the police.
"I'm just going to leave this town, anyhow. I apologize for any trouble."
He said, covering his eyes with his steel hat.

Looking to Vega, she sighs and nods, figuring the trio would soon be split up. She didn't know where she was going, she didn't even know what she wanted to do, all she knew is she could never go home.. no.. never go home, that would be death for sure..
Putting her head down as she waits for the police men to answer, her eyes cloud with confusion and sadness. Strands of hair fall out of her hood, which she had pulled up again, and dance across her face. Where in the world are you going shadow..
the voice of reason questioned her, and shadow answered I haven't known for years..

Well, I'm sorry to say that the entire city is a no fighting zone, and if you're looking for a cheap place to live, I'd suggest the Underground. I hope that was of some assisteance, but now, since things have calmed down, we'd better get back to our duties. Look after yourselves... And with that, the four men disappeared back into the crowd of pedestrians.
