Miomoko looked at the sun, "I think it's probably about time we headed back." Miomoko looked down at Kian, who still had his tongue hanging out of his mouth, and was panting. She picked him up, and placed him on her shoulders. "There's probably a few more minutes before the test, but I think I'm going to go inside, and take a look at who else is there, see if Gadd gathered any new members, and such. I'll see you in a bit." Miomoko said smiling, as she ran off into the direction of the building.
They arrived into the building, very quickly, only to be slowed down by crowds and crowds of people. Miomoko mumbled a few things under her breath, but got her way through the crowds, on to the other side of the room. There was more people here now that it was getting closer. She spotted Gadd, and his booth. "Hey Gadd." She said as she walked over to the booth.

Eryk and Xatu teleported back to the scene of the test. "This isn't odd at all is it?" the boy asked his partner who just stood there. "Didn't you say someone needed us?" he asked the pensive Pokemon who still just stood there. Eryk rolled his eyes as he got no response. "You've always been the talkative type haven't you?" Still no response was granted from the bird.
Combining a sigh and a growl, Eryk pushed his light purple hair out of his face and started to take in his surroundings, a few tables, chairs, ect. It looked like a proctoring site. "Is this seriously what they needed me for?" he almost complained as he saw a brass nameplate with his name on it. "I guess I'm an overseer then..." he trailed off as he headed to his own chair, Xatu followed silently behind him.
((ooc: From what I could gather from skimming the posts, we're having the test portion first? Followed by like a...battle section?))

After getting knight a few bites to eat Hiro wandered back to where everyone else was gathering, "I guess Its nearly time for the tests..." he said silently looking around at the others carefully. Miomoko,Alice, Gadd and Eryk just trying to take a grasp of what and who was around.

I ask that you don't look at any reference materials once you open the PM. PM your answers back to me and within a short period we'll start on the next step.))

Inside a tone sounded off through the Silph Co Building before a female voice echoed over the intercom. "Attention please. We will beginning the exam in 10 minutes. All participating trainers should head to the front desk where they will be escorted to the testing rooms. Registered Psychics should have their identification ready. Thank you for using SilphCo for all your Pokemon needs! Good luck!" There was a short buzz of static as the receptionist hung up.
Gaddwick stood up from the desk and quickly checked the time. It seemed early still. "Hiro, could you watch the desk while I take the exam? I don't think anyone will come but if they do just tell them to wait here for me. I'll drop in after the quiz portion. If you need any help just call this number." he said scribbling down his telephone number on a piece of paper. "Don't call unless it's an emergency though I don't want to have to leave the test before I finish unless I have to. Thanks." He rushed off barely giving Hiro any time to make a response.

((OoC:Here is how things are going to go at the moment. Those who are taking the test will be have it PMed to them. Take your time but please don't cheat. You don't need a perfect score to pass. PM them to me when you're finished. I'll be posting threads for each Ranger including Hiro for either their exam battle or evaluation. A brief description will be there and your opponent will be waiting for you to let them know you're ready to begin.
Battles will be fairly rapid paced. Your judge will only keep each of their 3 pokemon in for one or two attacks. Once your opponent switches you will be expected to switch as well. You're going to need to think quick to impress them.
Hiro vs Gaddwick will go on longer because Hiro only has one Pokemon. Other rangers are encouraged to be there watching. This battle technically takes place after the exam but we're condensing it to save time so we can get rolling again. Feel free to have rangers cheer or criticize either trainer.

((OoC: Are the battles going to be actual game based, such as stats, or are they going to just based on RP skill? I think both are important and should be weighted equally. Also, would you mind if Eryk took the test as well? And yes, it's a bit short notice.))
Eryk looked up as he was handed a test by his Regional Manager. "Wait. What?" he looked up at his Manager who smiled slightly.
"Call it a re-evaluation. To make sure you're still as effective as ever. Most Rangers have to go through several of these, even though you haven't taken one before doesn't mean it doesn't happen." the man turned and swept his hand to the other name plates.
Eryk grumbled slightly as he started to write his name on the test. A test personally given to him from his Manager, no need to stand in line and get a test. "Joy." he smiled again.

Hiro waved Gaddwick off, "Yeah yeah I've got it." he said sitting at the desk his head leaning on his hand, "If theres any trouble in that time I'll besure you know..."

((OoC:Just so you know Deathsye your battle is also now available for you to start.
As for the battles they will be a mix of both. Stats and type advantages aren't irrelevant but RP ability and ranger skill are also a factor. It would even out close if it was a Poor RPer with type advantage vs a Excellent RPer with a type disadvantage.))

Miomoko heard the announcement, and immediately began her walk to the exam room. She arrived there and then looked over at Kian, "Sorry buddy, you gotta get in your pokeball again."
Kian jumped off of Miomoko's shoulder unenthusiastically as she pulled him back into his pokeball.

Alice made her way back to the Silph Co. building in time to hear the announcement over the intercom. Following its instructions, she went over to the front desk, pulling out Skitty's pokeball as she did so. "Hey, Skitty, wish me luck," she said quietly, and Skitty meowed something before being recalled back into her pokeball. Just a few minutes later Alice was at the exam room, about to start her test.

Kobi ran down the busy streets, avoiding other pedestrians and other obsticles as he checked his watch and thought,'Dang it, at this rate I'll be lucky if I even get to register to take the examination and sign up for the Pokemon Rangers.' Upon finally arriving at SilphCo, he stopped and attempted to make himself look like he hadn't just nearly killed himself running down the streets while trying to find this. After taking a deep breathe and walked in. He looked around and saw the examination registration. 'I guess I'll start there.'he thought as he walked over and said," I'd like to sign up for the exam."

Ace walked into the silph co. building and headed for the ranger registration." I'd like to become a pokemon ranger." He said to the person behind the desk.Riolu nodded in agreement from Ace's shoulder.
