Irro cringed again and woke up. It was all very blurry. What the hell?! What's going on? I remember so much pain. I ache all over. W-where're Kara and Riley? Where'd Jen go? "Kara? Get... out... while... you can. Be-before... Jen can hurt you too." Riley, please let it don't be too late for you. Maybe for me, but you should all escape! Please....

Kara couldn't take it. She passed out.

Jen was delighted to see Kara pass out on the floor but furious to hear Irro talk. She took the stun ray and stabbed Irro again. Irro immediately went still from the pain. Jen called to Liz, "Watch these idiots. I'm going to take my DNA."

Liz couldn't see, but she was awake. She felt around in the dark, until she stabbed her finger. "Ow..." She raised her hand and felt a shelf. "Oh, no..." She felt aloung the shelf until she reached the wall, and the light switch. The light flickered on and Liz scowled. She was in her equipment closet. She tugged on the doorknob, but it didn't budge. She punched the door hard. "Damn it!! I will kill you, Jake!!!"
No one could hear her angry yelling from outside her lab.

Jake reached the lake, which had a light mist over it. He smelled something weird, it made him a little dizzy. "They must have caught them..." He kept walking, going past the lake.

Jen opened the cabinet, took out a syringe labeled "Cobra" and injected the serum into her arm. She winced in pain and nearly fell to the ground. Once the initial shock was over, she went to her own office and took a bit of controller-stabilizer. Once that was done, she smiled. "Exactly like Liz, except in snake form." She went back to the teenagers and picked up her stun ray. "I'll guard you for now. Marcus can figure out the ultimate punishment later."

Irro woke up and saw the stun gun an inch from her face. She screamed. Jen whispered, "Shut up. If you wake the others, you're worlds going to be filled with pain and anger for the rest of your life." Irro immediately clamped her mouth shut. Jen smiled venomously. "Good girl." Irro looked around and saw everyone else still out on the floor. Wonder where Liz is...
Jen began to worry about Liz. She glared at Irro. "Stay put. Or you die." She walked into Liz's lab. "Liz? You in here?"

Liz slumped against the locked door of the tool closet. She heard Jen come in, but felt her hopes fall as she remembered that she was the only one with the key to the door. Liz beat against the door, hoping Jen would get someone to tear it down. "LET ME OUT DAMMIT!! THAT FISH BRAT ESCAPED!!!!!!!!!"

Jen swallowed. "Okay. I'll get you out. I think I've got something in my lab. Just hold tight." Jen ran out of Liz's lab and into her own and grabbed a blasting cell. "Liz, get away from the door. I'm going to blast in 3...2...1..."
Irro saw Jen run back and forth and pretended to be frightened. Once Jen was gone again, she felt in her pocket and found an empty syringe. In order to wake Kara up, she stabbed Kara. "Sorry... Hope this doesn't hurt too much..."

Liz stepped way from the door obediently.

Kara nearly screamed but clamped her mouth shut. "Ow..." She felt how badly her head hurt.

The lab thundered with the blast. The door hung from a hinge and Jen peeked in. "Liz? You okay?"
Irro grabbed a bandage and wrapped Kara's arm. "Sorry. I had to wake you up though. Bird lady and Jen are conspiring. And I think Jen took some kind of venom..."

Kara slid closer to Irro. "What's the plan then?"

Liz walked out of the closet, carrying a needle in-between each finger. "I'm fine. That brat healed my wing when he knocked me out. Now I'm going to tear him apart." She flapped her wings and landed on the ledge of the window. "Feel free to hurt Kara while I'm gone, I got some interesting info from that brat's dreaming." She smiled wickedly. "I'm going to break him, then kill him."

Jen laughed. "Fine by me." She walked out of the lab and saw both Irro and Kara awake. "You're in for a bit of a paralyzing experience." She promptly changed into a snake and hissed malevolently.
Irro gasped at the snake. Irro has always been afraid of snakes ever since she saw that huge python in the zoo. "K-keep away from me!" Jen slithered over to Irro and bit her leg. Irro began screaming but after a few seconds just froze. Jen hissed at Kara. "You're turn girly." She opened her mouth and spit poison at Kara. "This is gonna hurt."

Kara leapt up. "Not likely, you deranged freak!!" She ran into her habitat and jumped into the water. "Come and get me, you freak!"

Liz flew out of the window and scanned for Jake. She was looking around the path that Kara took.

Jen changed back into human and walked into Kara's habitat. She pulled something out of her pocket and hid it in her hand. She said quietly, "Kara, if you don't come out, this will be even more painful... I've got something that could very possibly kill you from the poisonous water. Now, you wouldn't want anything painful to happen to the boy without you being able to protect him, now would you...?"
