I didn't mind X-2. Not my favourite out of the FF games though. The battle system and dress spheres were a very nice touch and some what of a breath of fresh air.
Instead of having the party members line up in a straight line, they positioned in different places. As minor as this change is (and not alot of people really giving a shite) I thought it was great.
Sadly, these are about the only things I do like in the game. I was never really a Yuna fan or even a Rikku fan. And Payne? Nah, sorry xd
FFX. That had the number 1 main character that i hate the most. Tidus. This reason alone is enough for me to get more into X-2 then X.
(Now that's alot of hatred, right there)

sakurachan61123 Julep sakurachan61123 sorry Julep but your grammar messed up whatever you were saying. I don't know what you were trying to say. What do women find disguisting and what do men complain about when it comes to women? And how in the hell does that relate to FFX-2? well it doesn't relate to final fantasy but neither does your statement about men. and as or my grammar, its good as it is, a pfroffesor in philosophy told me that. anyway, i liked the FF7's storyline waaaaaaaay much better. Tidus was a bit too "Skiddish" for me. There are not alot of revelations to the characters background too which would have made the game enjoyable. Though I'm not saying that it was a bad game, but it was a bit too childish for me. X was NOT childish in the slightest. You're looking at the game wrong or something. There was an intense love story and the "philosophy" you stated . . . yeah. You obviously don't understand it because you can't explain it. It has NOTHING to do with what I said and I made NO statement about MEN in my little explination up there. I said everyone in general. I stated nothing about men complaining about women or vice versa. and now your attacking my intelligence? [these is an argument. no name callings whatsoever its a cheapshot.] my opinion is mine. your is yours. you just had to attack to make your point. fine. im not arguing.

I'm not that kind of a person. I simply asked what you meant by your philosophical statement and you didn't explain it. Therefore, I assumed you didn't know what it meant. I'd still like to know what you meant by it. I'm not attacking your intelligence. Me attacking your intelligence would be stupid of me considering I don't think I'm smart in the slightest. I have my opinions and yours don't make sense to me, so instead of freaking out, try explaining yourself.

Personally I have to say that FFX is much better, in terms of gameplay, story and flow between ammount of dialog and actual gameplay. As I know has been mentioned there was a lot of dialog (and most of it really corny) in FFX-2. Personally though....if I wanted to play dress-up i would rather own a barbie. The only part I really enjoyed about X-2 was the pretty FMV ....and well mostly the song "1000 words" I think it was called.

ok i started playing FFX-2 and the first 2 hours killed it for me and i stoped playing it ( i still have it but dont play it ) cause i really dont feel like playing dress up and yes i was expecting more from the #1 rpg series in the world but i guess they cant make followups very good but im sure its a good game but for me if a game doesnt grab me by the neck to the point that if i move away from the tv it will break it in the first few hours it wont keep my interest half way through the game and this is the first FF that hasnt done that

I am a little shocked that so many hate it. But I desided not to judge someone from what other people say.
Ok, so a friend of mine hates Aerith. But that is no reason for me to hate her. Truth is she is a favorite. And another hates Nami. But I don't give a damn about Nami since she has nothing to do with Final Fantasy at all.
First. I should clear up what I truely think of X-2. So I guess here it is...
I believe X-2 is a nice game. But I do think that Square Enix could of done better. Truth is I do love how the story goes. But what I don't like are just some small points. I was a bit upset when I learn that Nobou didn't make the music for this game. Which is easy to tell since the fanfare and the chocobo theme are compleatly different. But I do like some of the songs that did apear in this game like "real Emotion""1000 words""Yuna Ballard" and stuff like that. But with the volcal songs I do like the verson Koda Kumi did better. Ok, back to the game. The dresspears are a nice change from what they normally do. But not a good idea to use that again. The battle system was alright. But after an attack they just go to some random place. So in battle they could be anywhere. But I don't see that as a real problem. To the the truth the chance all of them attacking at the same time is kind of cool. Since that never happened. But it sucked them throwing away the Overdrives though. Then there is that whole with with jumping with cancel botton. Which could be done without it. The other thing I hated was the lack of playible characters. There being only three. It sucks because you can't switch party members. Just the same three thoughout the whole game. And the only time you don't them all is during the first few battles when you only have Rikku and Paine. Those are the only different battles. But what I hate the most is that players have to get 100% just to get the best ending, and everything is way out of order. That sucks. And some events are hidden too. Like at where you jump in a hole in a temple. While that is happening a whole lot of hot spots happen that could of been missed. Because of that chapters are not compleate till the second time playing. Well aside the flaws this game was a good one. Just not the best.
Just don't hate me for thinking differently....

I kind of likes it because it didn't give me the chance to really hate any characters. . . Like in X . . . I HATED Kimhari. He was just dumb to me. So in this one I was kinda forced to love them all.
