And make the post-studying-crash longer, too, methinks. *zonks, "Zzz"s rise above head*

I think energy drinks make me emotionally unstable. I can't be anywhere near sure, though, since I rarely drink them.

Then shouldn't it be easy to tell the difference between "This is the Mekryd" and "This is the Mekryd on energy drinks"?
I avoid energy drinks until I can no longer resist the idea of gaining more energy without (time-expending) sleep. . . sweatdrop

Well, I dunno, but the last time I had energy drinks, I was trying to record my viola etude for orchestra class placement, and I got really frustrated and started yelling cursewords after every botched attempt. I'm not sure if that was just me being frustrated, or being unstable any moreso than usual.

Ouch, orchestra placement tests are enough to frazzle even the calmest souls! I can't imagine an energy drink would've helped. . . xd
If I resort to one, I am already too far gone to expect normal operating behavior from myself. domokun
Better than the energy drinks or caffeine would be the avoidance of the stress in the first place. It's sad, then, that the preventive approach is not effective with school (school, which supposedly attempts to instill us with good habits. . .)

The only energy drink I consume is Mountain Dew. It makes me *twitch* spazz sometimes though... *giggles maniacally*

*raises eyebrows* And how often do you consume Mtn.Dew? (a.k.a., are you sure it's not an addiction? sweatdrop )
And what the hey is "mountain dew" supposed to be? Liquid smog? O.o

This one is my favorite:
