-=Neko tightens his grip on the rat, cutting off it's airway a bit as the electric current gets a bit stronger=-

-=Neko stops the current, but continues to hold the rodeny by the skin of it's neck=-

~I believe I have the upper hand...Tell me~

~Why should I trust you with our budgeting? Why shouldn't I just go on with my first train of thought and rid myself of this little rat? What makes you so important to me?~

-=Neko thought for a moment. He always hatedbeing stuck in his office for days with stacks upon stacks of paperwork, but he also didn;t have a clue as to just what this mouse was doing here, what she was getting at, or, more importantly, how the hell it could communicate with telepathy=-

-=Neko looked the rodent over, dropped it, and looked over to the office across the cavern. There wasn;t anythng that was too important in there. just a few of Neko's personal bills and random notes on a few certain weapons. Nothing that could harm him or the academy if it fell into the wrong hands=-

~Alright...But if you do prove yourself to be a rat, I'll have nothng to stop me from killing you. There are a few books in that office that need balancing, I'll give you the week to do them.~

Kenshin walked up to Neko as the dropped rat scurried off. He hadn't seen Neko in what seemed like forever. After all this time Kenshin was only a "sorta-student" and he approached cautiously, trying to remain emotionally neutral to avoid insult. "Neko-sensei," he said flatly, though a tinge of excitement showed itself for just a moment. "Um...I'd like to study under you, if that's ok...I still feel like such a novice here," he said, looking down. "But I've made progress with this," he blurted eagerly, and without waiting any further worked his fingers quickly over the water. At once the water churned and spiraled up towards his hand, manifesting after reaching a height of about a foot into a smaller version of himself. The clone looked around, shook the excess water off, and smiled up at Neko. Unlike his previous attempts, this one started to show some skill of craftmanship, able to make expressions and walk with a regular rhythm. Beaming at his reduced doppleganger, Kenshin looked adamantly back at Neko.

Kenshin smiled back as a shiver ran down his spine from the temperature change. He shifted his weight, ready to do anything. He could barely contain his excitement. Who knew the sensei were so...nice! He looked at Neko with a smile on his face and courage in his eyes. "What do we do first?"

Karu stood before two large doors made of ice he had decided to sit down and wait. It wasn't that he couldn't open the door, it's just that he didn't want to. "Someone will come eventually"
