A Restless Encounter: Cellen/ RorrimRonsoStryder Silence.
It was common to find the young, punk wolf out wandering by the shoreline of the beach when morning had not yet graced the lands with its immaculate rays. But, to Cellen, this was his job and his duty; to protect and to survey the packlands for intruders or nomads.
But today was different.
With his post secured by a lower guard, the brown wolf had decided to venture elsewhere. But the question still remained: Where was he to go?
As he casually padded upon the worn trail that snaked through the foilage and dense outskirts of the woods, Cellen's ears flickered as they sought any other presence or even a suitable prey that he could track. His crimson, tapered fur atop his head swayed and brushed over his right eyes as he wandered within the unfamiliar terriotory. The roar of the ocean surf was growing faint and the stench of sea salt was dissapating faster within the air.
He was definately farther than he intended.
Yeilding in his steps as his curled tail swayed curiosly behind him, the punk wolf gritted his teeth and glanced around his surroundings.
"Well," he mused with a thick, british accent, "this is a bit of a horlick." Baneful Rorrim had been more restless than ever of late. Living in the packlands with Lia was pleasant and made him happier than he had been in long time. But something was amiss. He didn't know what it was, all he knew was that every now and then, an old scent would come to him, one familiar and terrible in it's familiarity. Memories of blood and torment came back to him more often and he sought out the reflections to ease them. He followed one of the brooks that led to the sea, knee deep in the icy water, his eyes fixed firmly on the bubbling surface. He didn't care how cold he was, he could imagine he saw a reflection there, someone familiar.
He had found a carcass earlier, torn to shreds but barely even eaten. It made him shiver and move faster on his way. He couldn't be in the packlands right now, not with his past hot on his tail. It was as though the ghost of his alpha and brother tailed him once more.
Mrost was supposed to be dead but Ror was beginning to doubt this and it terrified him.
He froze in his staring at the water and raised his head, ears up. Did he just hear someone speak? He wasn't far from a trail, perhaps another wolf was nearby. Maybe they'd have seen the blue wolf that plagued his nightmares.
Stepping out of the water and shaking the excess from his pure white fur, Rorrim headed towards the sound he'd heard, venturing a "Hello?" as he did so.
He just prayed to the gods it wasn't Mrost he was heading towards. RonsoStryder His metal ridden ears perked upwards as his tattered, left ear swivled back and intook the sounds of the early morning. So, Cellen was not alone? Cerulean orbs began perusing about in search of the wayward creature (most likely another wolf by the scent that lingered within the brisk morning air).
"Mornin'," he called as he stepped out from the foilage and burly brush that encircled him.
Stiff-leggedly padding out and in sight, Cellen settled his orbs upon an unfamiliar white wolf whose fur was burnished and consumed in strange, black markings. Though he did not understand what they meant or of their signifance, he shook his head and let a warm smile cross his maw.
"Well at least there's one soul whose kickin," he chuckled as he padded closer towards the estranged wolf, keeping a comfortable distance between them, "lately these part of the woods have been goin' to the dogs; desolate and scare."
Shaking his head as he wisked away the tapered, crimson streaked bangs from his eyes, the punk wolf settled himself down on his haunches and yawned.
"Names Cellen; Head guard of Phib's packlands. And what about you, mate? Are you just leggin' it or are you lookin' for something...someone?" He tilted his head slightly as he shifted his forepaws, toenails gritting across the surface as he knitted his brows in slight thought.
"That's how alot of wolves came here...'cause they were lookin' for somethin'." Baneful Ror pushed through the undergrowth with ease, gladdened by the unfamiliar voice that returned his greeting. It wasn't Mrost and therefore no matter who awaited him, they were welcome. As he spotted Cellen, the white wolf looked him over, old habits dying hard as such he almost instinctually sized up anyone he met. The wolf before him, though well proportioned and strangely attired did not seem hostile and that put the normally edgy wolf's mind firmly at ease. He smiled, a mannerism learned through prescise imitation of others, it wasn't something native to him but it seemed to work.
Lowering his head in greeting but not relaxing from his strictly assertive posture, he replied "Nice to meet you Cellen, the name's Rorrim, not really a pack dog, not really a roamer. Not really anything." his voice was strange, devoid of inflection of intonation, monotone.
He nodded however, at Cell's perceptiveness "Indeed I am looking for someone. At least before he looks for me. He'd be very hard to miss, unnaturally blue covered all over with markings not unlike my own." he sat down too, momentarily glancing around them as though Mrost might lunge at any moment.
"But by far the most noticable thing about him is that he's mad. Mad as a hatter, killing anything he can and hiding from anything he can't." he frowned and shook his head. "I doubt you'd have met him though, he seems to be tracking me rather than anyone else."
He paused, realising that he wasn't actually sure where he'd ended up, looking from his paws back to Cellen. "Where is "here" anyway?" RonsoStryder The punk wolf nodded his head in the given greeting and let his checker-banded forepaws outstretch; the taunt muscles and knots within his back loosening as he slunk down, nearly on his stomach, and breached upwards feeling the pent up tension and discomfort leaving him.
"Rorrim," he mused as he let the word flow off his tongue. Cellen rather liked the name and, for the sort that stood before him, he even deemed it fitting. A nice match, really. "A pleasure."
Listening attentively to Ror's explaination, Cellen nodded his head and let a small smile cross his lips. "A blue wolf? Well, I've seen a countless sorts around here but a blue bloke?" His brows furrowed with thought as he stuck his tongue out the side of his mouth in a typical "ponderous" expression. "Can't say I have, mate."
"But you say this wolf you're lookin' for is-well, a Mad Allec?" Shaking his head, Cellen glanced to each side and casually settled his ceruelan orbs back upon the white and black marked wolf before him.
"That surely will have Phib deal a bit of a hit for six if he finds a mad wolf romping about," he chuckled with a low rumble as he stammered his right paw upon the ground.
Sighing a soft breath as, for once, Cellen was feeling a bit more relaxed than tense, he opened his maw slightly as he was trying to get his bearing of where exactly he was.
"Behind me is the ocean; this region is the far, far outskirts of the woods and all that's here are vagabonds, outcasts, wanderers, surf and sand. But, from the direction you came from, the center of the woods is just past and near the right and if you keep going north you'd hit the boarders of the mountains and Seer's Cliffsides." Baneful "Pleasure's mine." he countered, grinning again. He really did find this unusual wolf facinating, having come across no one like him in all his wanderings. He seemed eccentric but amiable, his turns of phrase leaving Rorrim running to keep up. He hadn't expected Mrost to have been sighted around here, at least not yet, but it never hurt to be wary, he supposed.
"That's good in some ways I suppose. But yes, if anyone from your pack, alpha or any rank come across him, do not trust him, his silver tongue is concealed between backstabber's fangs." he shook his head "He only cares about rank and power, nothing else. Like I say, if you see him, best be driving him out." It was an honest warning, Rorrim had been a tool to Mrost's devices too many time to underestimate the wolves capacity for betrayal.
As the other wolf described the lands he had stumbled into, Rorrim mentally mapped things out. He hadn't realised he had come almost all the way to the shoreline in his restlessness. It was a long way back.
"Wow, I must have been walking longer than I thought." he laughed, a laugh as monotone as his voice. "Let my legs get carried away." RonsoStryder Cellen couldn't help but let a wide-set grin sweep across his maw as he continued to converse with Rorrim. There was something about him, a familiar sense, that made the punker feel- well, at ease. The white fur like that of fresh fallen snow and the moonless black upon his fur reminded him of another wolf, Damu if he recalled correctly.
He nodded attentively as he brushed his right paw against his checkered bands, a mere thought rolling through his head. "Well, I'm sure that if that manky fellow tries to storm through Phibs packlands he'll be in a bit of horlicks with the Alpha and his guards."
"And I do have to express my thanks for you givin' us a warning, too." He added with a friendly smile, ears swiveling as his curled tail behind him thumped and swayed casually.
Listening as the white wolf spoke, Cellen tilted his head slightly and gave a quizzical look.
"I never did ask you, mate, where do you hail from?"

.::.A Nightmare: Sora/ Ehrek/ Lotl.::. RonsoStryder A nightmare.
Stirring within his sleep as he gritted his teeth and grunted, the brown wolf's heart raced; pattering against his chest as his tongue lolled out of his mouth in a pant as th invisible horror churned his adrenaline. There was darkness, a thick darkness surrounded him as no light could penetrate nor lead him elsewhere. He was stuck within the shrouding darkness, alone and forlorn.
"SORA!"
His ears perked upwards as he whirled around, just in time to look upon the brewing danger.
From the menacing shadows, a strange-surreal creature rose from the depths of unfathomable darkness. Towering over him without a sound, it's piercing ocher eyes shone brilliantly as they narrowed towards him.
Sora felt his weight fall to his feet and tried to dash away to some unknown safehaven but, to no avail, the wolf could not move. Hackling slightly as he gritted his teeth, Sora onlooked the shadow demon with uncertainty and fear; supressing chills as he watched the beast loom closer.
With the moment right and the wolf frozen with gripping fear, the shadow plunged at him. Dissapating around him, thick darkness rose upwards from the ground and swirled about the wolf. With no hesitation, it began to take it's newfound victim hostage into an unknown abyss. Slowly, Sora struggled to free himself, whipping about and pawing to find a way to escape. But any attempt was futile.
His chest was becoming restricted in breath. The pain began walling up inside from the lack of air and energy that he had exherted to find freedom from the horrible, strange darkness that was slowly enveloping him. As he was begining to sink down to his shoulders, Sora stifled a last breath as he plunged into darkness and-
A breath sputtered from out of his mouth in a choking array as he gasped for breath. His cerulean eyes shot open, darting about him to look upon his current surroundings.
It was morning.
Shaking his head as he panted heavily, the young wolf slumped upwards and staggered to get his bearings. Sweat dripped from his brows and dribbled upon his fur; the nightmare was all too real. With his body weakened and slow to conjure up any energy, Sora took a step forwards.
The chain necklace around his neck clattered softly as he began walking towards the small stream. A drink of water perhaps would put him at ease, right?
But this nightmare was not the first that had haunted his dreams. No, too often he had found his mind to be riddled with dreams of darkness and someone calling his name in the distance yet, everytime, he never could unveil the one whose voice beakoned at him. Would these nightmares ever cease?
He didn't know.
"That voice," he muttered softly, musing as he padded slowly towards the banks of the small stream. "It's...familiar."
Dipping his maw into the cool waters of the small stream, the brown wolf drank slowly as the relief rushed into his maw. For now he'd just have to get his mind off the nightmare or at least until nightfall and brace himself for it to return and revive his terror again. PhiferWolf Ehrek, continued to wander the forest. He was stilled worried about Jaxom's welfare, but he had to keep himself from the male. Ehrek was different...Jaxom was a male of the north. Ehrek was only a vagant wolf, only to wander about. Perhaps he should've stayed with Jaxom longer rather than just leaving him. First he went to get him water as he slept, but somewhere in him he could not go back. Jaxom was a proud wolf, one that would never accept Ehrek. Jaxom was better off without him.
His family's gone, his pack is gone, he was alone now in this unknown land. The charcoal blue wolf just felt like dying here and now and just end his suffering. He cared far too much for his friends and when it was time to leave, a part of him leaves with them. The wolf might as well just collapsed right there and then and fall onto a sharp rock somewhere.
Suddenly, something caught his attention. It was a scent of another wolf, a male at that. He lifted his muzzle and sniffed around the cold air that the north was accustomed to. He was nearby. Perhaps this was a friend that he could keep nearby. His heart raced as he weaved around trees and jumped over edges and mounds.
As the scent grew strong, Ehrek slowed his pace. His golden eyes peering through the snow covered bushes and peer down to the river below. At the water's edge was a wolf with a rather strange fur color. The scent of the wolf was overwelming and the scent of metal lingered around it. Who was this wolf. Was it safe to show himself to this wolf? Swampieestar Cozamalotl shivered in his sleep. A balck ear flicked. The weak sun shone through the dense trees dappling his brilliant fur with even more gold than usual. The heat the begun to coarse through him was waking him. Claws extended as his amber eyes began to open. His still blurry vision didn't aid him as he tried to stand.
When he was finally certain that all four of his dark paws were restinf firmly on the rocks beneath him he shook himself out. His thick ruff littered the ground with twigs that he had picked up from his resting place. Lotl watched as the snow melted from his own heat. With a flick of his stub tail, the lynx jumped down the slate rock. The bulk of his body caused him to awkwardly stumble and slip down to the smaller ledges. Not quite as gracfully as he wished, the red feline finally made his way to the ground.
A quick twist of his ears and he realized that he wasn't as alone as he had hoped.
The lynx shot it's eyes this way and that trying to find where the others were. The scent was distinctly wolf and it unerved him. Lotl crept forward, heart racing. Wolves meant bad news for his kind. Their scents were as foul as ever as he stalked closer until he reached the edge of the trees where only shrubs hid him. A nervous excitement rippled through him at the thought of being so close. His lungs moaned as he tried to fill them with the cool air while he watched the two. RonsoStryder The ears of the strangely apparelled wolf swiveled as his soft, cerulean orbs glanced upwards. There was a new scent that began to waft heavily within the air around him and, to Sora, he remained unsure of how to act. Was he to fear for what unknown wanderer came across his way or, perhaps, was he to fight? He furrowed his brows with a perplexing thought as he pursed his lips.
"I'll just have to see what comes my way," he softly chuckled as he drew his maw back into the depths of the tranquil stream.
From the smell of the trailing scent, he could only be sure that it was another wolf. Still, the young wolf witheld of his curiosity (the same curiosity that had led him into trouble time, and time, again) and continued drinking. But, unexpetedly, there was another diversion.
Several feet from the other side of the small stream, the surrounding shrubs rustled as something else began making its way towards him. What was this? A double-team attack? Narrowing his eyes toward the shrubs, another scent began to penetrate his nostrils.
A lynx?
What was this day turning into?
Drawing up his head as he became even more confused by the whole situation, Sora tilted his head slightly and rumbled with a bit of laughter. "Nothing's the same anymore."
A wide smirk spread across his maw as he laughed softly. "All right, you two can come out now," Sora called out with coursing amusement. "I'm not lookin' for a fight." PhiferWolf Ehrek's heart jumped to his throat, surprised. Though it was bovious, wolves had a keen sense of smell, so it wa expectable. The wolf stepped out from his hiding place, standing not too far away from the other male. He noticed that the wolf knew he was there long before he drank from the river. A question tickled his mind.
"If you knew I was there, then why did you simply ignored me?" he asked, curious of what the answer may be. Perhaps it was just his curiousity of wanting to know.
The wolf had some strange...designs on him. Around his neck was a metallic item that hung just above his chest. This was a rather strange wolf indeed. Perhaps this would be an intresting one. Ehrek smiled, "Who are you?" Swampieestar Startled, Lotl didn't know what to do in his current situation. If he ran would they give chase? The lynx felt a rumble in his chest as he breathed. It felt muggy and hot around him as he watched his breath dance on the air for a moment before dissapating. His grey scruff rose around his neck warming him considerably. A fly buzzed across his vision but he paid it no attention. The lynx was stubbornly directed at the wolves before him.
Their smells drowned him. He didn't like the smell of wolves. They were much too dense for his senses but he couldn't help but lean forward and take it in. The fact that they were turning for him, ready for their next meal was heartening but he wouldn't let his guard down. He may be able to take down a lone younger one but two grown wolves were too much for him to handle and, frankly, he thought he had a lot of living to do.
When he was asked to come out he cringed.
He didn't want to. It could have been a trick to flush him out but for once he gave them the benefit of the doubt.
The lynx slowly slunk from his hiding place. "You aren't gonna eat are you?" His tone was more matter-of-fact than questioning. RonsoStryder Sora let his orbs settle upon the charcoal-grey hued wolf as he relinquished from his brush safehaven and padded out into the open. With the given question, the lone wolf couldn't help but chuckle.
"I figured I'd let you make the first move," he replied as he lifted his paw slightly upwards and directed it towards the wolf whom sat just across the bank, "but I guess I got tired of waiting for you to make the first move."
It was true; Sora had a horrible patience. He was an individual who constantly let his curiosity take control of his instincts while the passion of his heart took charge of the logic, or what logic he had left, that resided within his mind. Some say that it was foolish to let ones emotions rule over intellect but, in Sora's case, he often found that his heart was the one that guided him upon the strange journeys and brought him face to face with the most unusual encounters. It wasn't a bad thing but, sometimes, it never did play in his favor.
A grin slid up upon Sora's maw as he set his paw back upon the damp soil of the small stream. His ears perked up while, behind him, his tail thumped with glee. "I'm Sora. Who are you?"
When movement resounded from the brush and thickets, Sora diverted his attention towards the rustling brush with anticipation. He wasn't all to shocked to watch the lynx slink out from its own hiding place for his senses had at least solved one pending mystery. But the abundance of curiosity still had yet to deal out his own questions to the newomber.
The lone wolf stilfed a laugh at the given question.
"Eat? You mean...eat you?" His ears flickered as he shook his head, the same widespread grin inhabiting his maw. "Sorry, I don't eat lynx."

.::.Strangers: Cellen/ Nix/ Phib/ Cael/ Rage.::. DragonsRage24 How long had she been wandering the silver pelted femme was not sure. It felt like years since she had left home after everything that had happened. So many losses, not many gains. The only true thing that kept her going was the will to survive, and the hopes of finding her literal sister, Noir. But that seemed almost impossible, the blue-eyes female felt like she was the lone survivor of the whole ordeal.
Now her paws had taken her here, exactly where she was not sure, a funny salt smell touching her nose, having her ears fold back in consideration of where she wandered. Towards the sea, or ocean? She had heard stories, but never saw it for herself. Born and raised in a mountain valley, the biggest water source she saw was a grand lake in the center of her home of the past.
Her tail was hung low, not swaying with the wind as she padded along through the shrubs and undergrowth, where was she? She hadn't seen any other wolves to ask them, she wasn't sure where she was, if she had wandered into a threatening environment, the only thing that kept her going was hope. RonsoStryder As the ocean breeze and the pungent smell of the sea lingered within the air, the young punk wolf padded stiff-leggedly within the vicenity of the packland borders with ears pricked upwards, shifting and intaking every sound that erupted against the roaring surf. Shaking his head, the brown curly-tailed wolf let his tapered, crimson hair drape over his right eye as a small sigh escaped from his maw.
"It's quiet today," he mused with his typical, thick british accent as he knitted his brows and pressed onwards towards the slight, rocky incline that drew a barrier around the surf tumultious tides.
But somewhat masked within the scent of salt and sea, there was another scent that was making its debue; there was another wolf present.
Turning his head towards the upper ridge where the thickets and trees resided just before the once lush grassland would transform into a desert of scorching sands and grainy sensations, Cellen's ears fell back as he began lunging into swift strides across the sand, paws and nails clenching upon rocks as he launched himself upwards upon the ridgeside.
Cerulean orbs trailed to where the shadow of the newcomber began to come into view but the fear of danger dissapated as he looked upon the unfamiliar wolf.
Sadness, remorse...lost.
From looking upon the unknown being, Cellen could only gather that the individual was a passing vagabond; unaware that he or she was traveling upon a pack territory. Knitting his brows as his curled tail swaggered behind him, the brown wolf drew closer towards the thickets and lush vegetation that divided their territory from that of the woods and other wolves.
"Afty," he called out as, truthfully, early afternoon was slowly dawning upon them. "Can I be of assistance, mate?" DragonsRage24 Continuing on in hopes of finding fresh clean water and somehting to eat, she was starving. She couldn't remember the last time she ate a good meal, or slept a decent time, everything had changed. But her hope was strong, on ehr way here, she could've sworn she caught teh scent of Noir, somewhere, but it had gotten dispesred among teh salted air. Seemed that hope was lost...
Then he came.
Nix tilted her head at him, seeing him from afar, he wasn't that close, but spoke to her anyway, she ducked her head down, her tail still low, now swaying or anything, was he friend or foe? She couldn't defend herself here, this wolf would have the advantage. She was stuck.
But he didn't charge, didn't attack, just spoke to her. Mate? What kind of lingo was that? She just met him for pete's sake and he wanted to be mates! Well...it depended, if he was cute or not...
Bad Nix! What would Noir say...
Nix was an odd character, none the less she found enough courage to pad up to this other wolf, male no doubt, slowly she did. Once she was about 3 feet from him, she could see his pelt color, the streaked red tuft upon his head, and cerulean eyes...those eyes, they were enticing. She felt hypnotized by them, her own ice blue eyes meeting his she spoke softly, "Have I wandered too far? I'm sorry...I've just been....looking for-" she stopped, what if this wolf was just pretending to be nice, and was actually a foe. She wasn't sure what to do, so she stopped, striped ears flat against her skull. RonsoStryder His softened, cerulean orbs glided with her movement; watching as the unknown figure trailed from out of the shadows and....
It was a female.
Cellen's heart suddenly felt as if it skipped a beat as his body jolted slightly when she spoke. Such a sofft voice, soothing and cautious as the sensation of uncertainty and slight alarm still lingered about her. A warm smile trailed across his maw as he padded closer towards the silver and black pelted female.
"Well, it depends on where you're headed. Say if you're a bit hot to trot and you're lookin' to roam somewhere new or just wantin' to have a dekko at what's around or...you're just leggin' away from the past."
His shoulders slumped slightly as his curled tail behind him arched slightly as he chuckled softly. "That's how I found myself here...no one can run forever."
The young male took several steps closer and tilted his head to the side slightly. Why was she out here? Running away, perhaps? Lately he had seen to much of individuals running away and fighting for their own beliefs but, to him, it was like looking upon himself and the haunting past. The recollections still tormented his dreams and his countenance.
But when would the torcher end?
He shook his head as his crimson hair swayed past his right eye, sweeping and waving back in place. For now, he'd have to put those feelings aside or at least for now.
"You're on the borders of Phib's packlands as of now but don't fear being dealt a hit for six or whatnot because you're safe and I'd never intentionally harm anyone without reason or orders." Smiling as he only hoped that he could reassure he that he was harmless while, truthfully, he was more a sweet talker to the laides, Cellen peered up into her own icy orbs.
"Names Cellen, Head Guard of these packlands. And who might you be, miss?" DragonsRage24 Nix felt frozen by his movements, speech and eyes. The way he moved, it flowed, his voice flowed off his tongue and into her ears so calmly in a voice she'd never heard before, it made a shiver run down her spine. Though she couldn't understand several things he said, it all sounded right to her. Soon he stated his name, Cellen, never heard that name before...she liked it.
She smiled softly at him, her tail swaying slightly, not much yet, but he said he was no threat,. and for some strange reason, she believed him, whole-heartedly. "You can try....to run forever..." she said softly, "but it will catch up with you one day...so I've been told..." She glanced down at teh ground for a moment, remembering her past in the blink of an eye, and then her ice blue hues met his again, they truly captivated her where she stood. "I'm sorry for intruding Cellen," she liked how that flowed off her tongue, "I've just been...looking for a place to stay...and my sister..." she figured saying literal sister wouldn't make much sense. Noir was as much a sister to her then anyone, and Nix cursed her memory for letting Noir's real name pass from her mind. Even her image was vague, and it pained Nix.
"I'm Nix..." she said with a smile, then it almost seemed like a girn as she glanced over him, he did seem strong, and his tail...she hadn't seen one like that before, "You seem to fit the part...head guard that is, strong you seem..." she felt like if she wanted to levae, she couldn't, like Cellen had a magnetism about his aura, that drew her in, and wouldn't let her go. Strangely, she didn't want to let go. RonsoStryder The brown wolf nodded his head as a solemn smile crept upon his maw. "You can think you can skive the past but, in the end, it will deliver a hit for six and the horlicks you ran away from turn to shambles." His brown and metal ridden ears perked upwards at the mention that she was looking for somewhere to belong and for...someone. His brows knitted together as thoughts bombarded his train of thought.
He could help...somehow, he could at least help her.
But when she spoke her name, the young punk wolf let a wide grin spread across his maw as strange sensations coarsed through his wolfish veins and surged strength and affection.
"Nix," he remarked as he was rather taking a liking to her name. "A beautiful name." He almost blushed as she spoke kind to him, her comments making his ears fall back in slight embarassment while his sweet talk was urging him to say something and not let him get away with being dumbfounded. "Strong? Well, Marra, I'm no airy-fairy wolf and if you're lookin' for protection then you stumbled across the right wolf."
Letting a more devious grin about his maw, the brown wolf chuckled softly as he settled down upon his haunches and let his curled tail swagger behind him with upmost satisfaction.
A sudden thought crossed his mind when a rather serious expression drew upon his face, although the same warm smile still inhabited his maw. "Then stay here..." he replied as he looked into her orbs. "Forget the hang-ups and stay...here..." DragonsRage24 Nix eye's never left his as he spoke, his odd lingo made her feel...well, she couldn't explain it. It was a different feeling, one that she had never felt before, never experienced before, she didn't know what to do. She was nervous, fearful even of these feelings, towards him, so fast they approached ehr being and lingered there, never fleeting, he was doing this to her. Yet she had met Cellen mere moments before, but she wanted to stay.
When he told her she could, she nearly pounced on him with anticipation and thanks...
She'd have a home? A new home? What would Noir think...leaving the REAL home behind, not going back, staying here. Would Noir have liked it here? WOuld she have found someone like Cellen here? Probably not, Nix knew she was the more forward of the two, she knew that now most definitely, with her newfound attraction to Cellen.
So quickly she had felt this...
A rising heat within her she coulnd't stop, and couldn't bear to lose. She wanted to keep this feeling, was it a crush? No. It had to be more. She never knew the extent of liking someone else was, feeling for another, was that what she was feeling now? What to do, what to say to him? Would he think her crazy and leave?
Her ears folded back in ablush when he said her name was beautiful, made her blush really. "Protection?" she asked with a whily smile, almost smirk upon her face as she padded over to him. Her side brushing against him as she turned and sat down next to him, within inches of him. "What would I need protection from?" she asked softly, cooly, calmly. Now she nearly whispered into his ear, these feelings within her taking the lead, "If I stayed...would you protect me?" RonsoStryder He had only glanced towards the side momentarily until he suddenly felt a slight weight be thrown atop him unsuspectedly. Stammering with a sharp breath, the brown punker shot his gaze upwards only to look into the luring, icy orbs of the female; Nix. He chuckled as he breached upwards and wrapped his forepaws around her, rolling forwards slightly as he gnawed upon her ears with a tender sensation.
Oh, this was much more than his sudden "run-ins" that he so often endeavoured within.
No- no...this time he could feel such affection coarsing through his veins, taking his whole body by storm as he had managed to reverse the devious play and was now atop the black and siver hued female.
"Protection from the heartache, the letdown and the sorrow. Somehow, Marra, we know how it feels to be the last one standing and we both need savin'," he replied with a soft, soothing whisper as he drew his muzzle closer to hers and planted a delicate lick upon her nose. "If you stayed with me...I would protect you, no- I would save you."
Grinning as he took two steps back, his curled tail swayed with excitement. Glancing towards the waters edge, the brown wolf stretched out his forepaws and let his tattered, fallen angel back design come to her view as he crouched low. With little hesitation, the punk wolf suddenly bounded off and leapt past the rocky incline and staggered with hastened steps towards the ocean surf.
"Come on!" He howled wifth pure adrenaline as he drew towards the roaring waters and tides of the ocean.
Oh, this was much more than a chase! This was playful fun and, of course, a bit of mischief. DragonsRage24 Nix felt entranced by him, as his paw wrapped around her she felt safe, secure, warm...a heat she hadn't felt before but longed to feel forever with him. She smiled as him, and nuzzled him gently, affectionately. He must know what she was feeling, he was doing this to her, and she loved it...she was falling for him, head over paws, and she didn't want to stop.
His words to her only made the heat rise, making it almost unbearable, she wished for sweet releash from the heat and longing, wanted to stay with him. She wanted him to protect her, love her, save her. Yes, she wanted it all, she wanted him.
Then it seemed he flopped upon her, his weight upon her own, she smiled devilishly at him, her eyes connecting with his own, both swirling in the amounts of blue before her eyes. As he stood up and took two steps back, she frowned and whined softly, she wanted him to come back.
As he howled for her to follow him, she did so, standing up, and bolting after him, watching the ocean surf, it was nothing she had seen before. Where was he taking her? No. It didn't matter, she would know when they got there, together. RonsoStryder His checker-banded paws swept across the sands as his cerulean orbs glanced back towards the female with a wide smile. She was a true prize, this one and Cellen would see to it that he would not lose her to another male or by a blundering howler.
Rummaging and romping within the ocean as the tide swept the cool waters to wave and lap against his paws, the brown curly-tailed wolf chuckled as he slid his forepaws out and crouched low; waiting in an enticing position as he sunk his stomach low within the waters of the sea.
He was waiting, waiting for the right moment to strike and catch her off-guard; they would run, tackle and play until he would run off again and lead her closer to his premeditated location, his small hideaway where few had ever ventured towards.
Swaying his tail with pure exhileration, Cellen howled again with drawn, excitement within his voice.
"Come on in!" DragonsRage24 Nix romped forward, though it was hard on this ground. It shifted a lot more compared to the dirt floors she was accustomed too. The waves were inviting her, but not as inviting as Cellen seemed.
She liked him, possibly even loved him right now, hard to tell, she was never told what love was, she never experienced love or affection before, it was all new to her. Cellen would be hers, if another female approached him, she'd do something to grab Cellen's attention, brush up against him. Offer an inviting whine to escape off to a more isolated place.
Yes...she had plans just in case...
She was still nervousl, not knowing exactly where everything was going, she had a feeling in her abdomen, calling to her, perhaps she did know. Perhaps, she'd find out what it was like to be loved. She knew she had fallen for him, and him for her she hoped, she didn't want a fling, she wanted him, all of him. To get that, if she had to, she'd give all of herself to him, her heart adn soul if he wished for them.
She wanted him, she wanted him to want her...and she'd give himself to him...
As her paws met the water, it was cool, but comforting. He was crouched down, wonder why. SHe swayed her tail in a way that was sort of egging him on, to 'go ahead' with what he was planning, why he was crouching. She stepped into the water, the waves brushing against her body, she seemed caught by it, nad pulled towards Cellen by it. RonsoStryder Anticipation and a rush of emotions began taking his whole body hostage; instincts and the yearning for passion began overtaking him as the silver and black hued wolfess began drawing closer to him, each step bringing them together and letting them be with one another.
Cerulean eyes had locked onto her and, without an ounce of hesitation, the brown curly-tailed wolf sprung and launched himself atop of her; tumbling and rolling within the warm sands and becoming doused within the realm of the cool ocean waters.
Stumbling atop of her, Cellen smiled warmly and tugged at her right ear as his eyes, those softened cerulean eyes full of life and sensation, conveyed a silent yet understandable message to Nix.
Love. Passion. Affection.
It was sudden yet, at the same time, it felt so right!
Dipping his head low towards her, the brown wolf nuzzled her and planted a tender kiss upon her maw just as he drew his maw close to her ear and whispered softly.
"Follow me."
Leaping towards the side and from off of the wolfess, Cellen glanced back with a devious smile and, once again, revived the chase. The cool breeze ruffled and rippled his fur, surging chills of adrenaline and newfound energy began taking over his body as he darted towards the left and began rushing towards an outcropping of rocks, much like a small mountain, that overlooked the shoreline and most of the packlands.
In the eyes of a guard, it was much like a small, natural watchtower but, to Cellen, this was his hideaway; his home.
With paws and nails gripping hold of rocks and crevases, Cellen leapt and scaled the tumultious rockside following a small worn trail that had been corroded by waves and years of aging. When his paws finally began to trod upon even, flat rock faces, the brown wolf padded into a small cavern and waited.
Though it truly wasn't a real cave, the outcroppings of rocks overhead suited well and kept him safe from any undesirable intruder. But this was not the case.
He wanted Nix to join him.
Slinking onto his stomach, Cellen waited with intent and exhilaration. DragonsRage24 Nix giggled and nuzzled him as they toppled over one another, Cellen being the strong boy he was, flopping down onto her again, she shifted under his weight, craning her nexk back she looked at him with affection within her icey eyes that seemed to soften and melt under his gaze.
In his eyes she could see that he was feeling the same thing she was... Love, Passion, Affection, it was all there, she could see it in his eyes, and he wondered if he could see the same things in hers. She nuzzled him playfully, lovingly as he gave her a gentle lick. Her body almost trembling beneath his with anticipation and heat.
This was happening to her, and she couldn't believe it was real...
It felt so right, to be here with him, wallowing in the passion they both had. The passion she had never felt before, the heat she felt, that he caused, the things he made her feel. His whisper almost made her tremble, it was soft, yet loving, she could feel his breath caress her ear.
She watched as he stepped back now, and went off to a new area, rocky it was, but there had to be a hidden secret. For at one moment he was there, and then disappeared into the rocks...a cave? Perhaps, and looking over everything, romantic. Was this his home? Surely it had to be, it seemed perfect for someone like him....Cellen, in Nix's eyes, was perfect.
Nix slowly made her way up, following the path Cellen had seemed to take, it took her a few more moments though, the heat almost fogging her vision as she yearned to be with him, at his side, rolling in the waves as they did. She needed him.
Seeing the entrance she yipped, letting him know she was coming, she was, and she'd stay. Stepping up into the cavern she saw Cellen laying down, did she make him tired? Her tail was wagging with affection as she padded over to him and brushed against him, whining softly. Instincts were beginning to take over, and she didn't want to stop them. RonsoStryder Brown, metal ears pricked upwards and shifted as a welcomed and highly anticipated yip broke the silence and echoed within the rocky enclosure. Ceruelan eyes watched as the wolfess padded slowly towards him and suddenly brushed up against him as low whines seeped out from her maw. The instincts that he had somewhat forgotten and had repressed for so long were begining to bubble to the surface and find their way into the males train of thought.
He belonged to Nix and, she, the wolftess belonged to him.
With such a tempting sensation and a shiver crawling upon his spine, the punk wolf arose to his feet and threw himself at her with awaiting paws and a rush of emotions.
Wrapping his paws around her as he toppled upon her, Cellen whined and rumbled softly as he nuzzled against her and gnawed upon her ears. His tounge graced upon her muzzle and nose as he planted countless kisses upon her, releasing himself to her and relaxing as he was fueling a more deeply rooted passion between them.
His curled tail swayed and wagged behind him as he continued loving upon her and feeling the warmth of their bodies collide. Such sensations, such deeply rooted feelings had been forgotten. Never- no, never- had he felt such a rush of emotions wash over him.
Not like this. No, never like this.
"You're all I want, you're all I need. You're everything....Marra," he whispered with a hushed, sacred tone as he pressed himself closer to her and rumbled.
"Stay with me...be mine, Nix." DragonsRage24 Nix smiled and nuzzled against him, then feeling him practically throw himself at her. She smirked and whined softly as she felt his weight upon her again. She wriggled beneath him, feeling his weight press down upon her she craned her neck so that she could nuzzle him under his chin.
Their bodies were so close, the heat felt unbearable, she felt it from him...it was driving her wild.
Never before had she felt this way, so in tune with another, wanting another, never before, and never again. She'd only feel these things for him, for Cellen, the one that could save her.
As he spoke to her she felt entranced by his voice, charming as it was, it seemed to have another quality, drawing her even closer to him, in a way she couldn't explain and only felt. Passion was in his voice, that name he was giving her made her smile.
His words meant everything in this moment, he meant everything to her and her instincts were telling her that this was close, close to what it was like to be loved and feel loved.
She whined softly, passion and affection, longing for Cellen was in her soft voice, she wriggled and writhed beneath his weight, her ice eyes meeting his cerulean orbs, she felt like he was the missing part of her, "Please Cellen...I am yours, please, make me yours..." she whispered as she could hear teh rumbling of teh toppling waves outside, But they were away from that, delving into a new place she had never been before. RonsoStryder His tongue lolled out of his maw as he panted slightly; such emotions and the heat of passion between them was kindling the emotions to greater and unfathomable new heights.
Was this true love?
He thought so.
But, countless times before, the punk wolf had rushed into the fires of passion and had blindly endeavored within the false accusations of love and eternal companionship. Was this a figment of his imagination? Was his heart pulsing such raw and timid emotions that only would end up like his last "encounter"?
No.
This was different.
Nix was unlike any other wolfess he had met and he would not lose her nor her affection.
He warmly smiled as he pulled his muzzle close to her ear, his heart and mind conjuring sweet-talk and deep affection that he could drown her in; making her come to realize what exactly love was.
"From now till the day I die you, Nix, will be mine," Cellen whispered as he pressed against her, closing in and wuffing low as he nuzzled against her. "This fire, this sensation of affection- this is love! I can feel it! It's coursing through my veins!"
Gnawing on her ears as he playfully pawed at her face, the brown wolf whined softly.
"Marra, I love you." DragonsRage24 All these things, these feelings, rushing and corasing through her veins, they had to be real. Nothing she'd known before felt like this, she couldn't be dreaming, she felt it for real, the affection, the passion, the heat, it was all there. All there with him,
With them.
Both of them, caught in the moment of bliss that would bind them to one another in affection adn love, yes love, she knew it then when he spoke it to her. How she felt it in her being with him, here in his home, here, with him.
She nuzzled him and licked his cheek affectionately and smiled, qhined softly and wagged her tail, all at one instant moment, she would be his yes, and he would be hers, for their lifetime...together.
"I love you too Cellen, I do..." she said smiling, nuzzling him gently, she now knew what is was like to speak of love, and now....now she'd feel what it was like.
((Going to stop here for um....ya, reasons >>; )) --------------------------------------------------------------------
Afterwards, in the isolated cave they shared now, Nix lay in a bundle of fur and limbs, panting, next to Cellen. The wind rushed into teh cavern-like indentation and had Nix shiver slightly from a chill, pressing back she felt Cellen behind her, warm.
She smiled.
Her eyes felt tired, lids heavy. A moment of bliss and passion shared in a moment where she found that she loved another, yes, she knew what it was like. And she'd only share it with Cellen, him, and only him. From now until forever.
She would be his, and she'd love him.
She laid her head down against the ston, snuggling up against him, entwining her tail with his as she lulled off to sleep, but she'd be alright, because when she'd open her eyes, he'd be there. RonsoStryder His heart was racing, pounding against his chest as the moment seemed so right, too perfect. Rumbling in a soft, deaf tone, the punk wolf nuzzled and drew closer towards her as his tranquil, cerulean orbs gazed helplessly upon her.
"I've been waiting all my life to find true love, Marra. It ain't airy-fairy, no-I've found you and your love," he whispered as he gnawed upon her ear and licked her tenderly.
Emotions began overtaking him, consuming him as instincts and desires were overcoming him. Cellen had found love, true love, and nothing had ever felt so right!
"Just hold tight, Marra, and never let go of what we have."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Morning.
Though the sun had yet to grace the packlands with it's immaculate rays, the brisk morning air washed into the cave like that of the ocean surf and walloped over him. The punk wolf stifled a chill and nestled closer to Nix for sake of keeping himself and his newfound lover warm as well.
Exhausted and drained of his energy, the night before seemed all but a blur. The emotions still consumed him and love testifed of the recent events.
Cellen had found a lover, a companion...a mate.
His ears flickered as he wearily opened his eyes and glimpsed towards the mess of grey fur and limbs that rested in front of him. A relaxed, suttle grin spread across his maw as his tail snaked and seemingly entwined with that of Nixs'.
"Mornin', love," he greeted as he craned his neck over and planted a tender kiss upon her muzzle. Werewolf Morning had come, and the old king became aware that he was still missing a certain head guard. Although he had no scruples about the comings and goings of his higher ranking wolves, he did however have some concern as to where exactly the brown male had vanished off to without a word. For his credit- Phib did wait somewhat before going to look. He waited for Rio’s morning report on the weather (rain again later today), and taken a brief walk along the outlands shore. He stalled mostly out of courtesy- for he had an inkling that a lady was involved in all of this.
Well. Not so much of an inkling as he had cheated and asked Amélie about it. But it wasn’t like he wouldn’t have come to the conclusion himself, anyways. His pack was getting into the habit of–well, getting into the habit. He had enjoyed asking Amélie about it, who had sheepishly dodged the answer before he had run it out of her. Such a modest girl! She acted like they didn’t have their own liaisons. Which, speaking of—
But, maybe another time. He couldn’t turn down a chance to be smug. Well. Somewhat smug, and somewhat disgruntled, just to make it seem like he really had been concerned (which, was true!), and did actually expect Cellen to put someone else in charge when he went off consorting with these strange females of the lands. The only thing he hoped, however- was that the lady had cleared out by then, or by some chance, this wasn’t a one time thing. The last thing he wanted was to be in the middle of some quarrel. But then again— With the sun almost crested, he set out, following Cellen’s scent down the beach, and up some rocky surfaces. There was indeed a female scent in the air (among other things), which brought a somewhat swaggering sway to his walk. But, he made sure to put on his angry face before he made it to the scene. And then again when he had, and momentairly lost it.
"Well--" Phib's voice suddenly broke the moment, as he moved across a sun scortched bush. "-apparently I assign the most interesting missions nowadays." He spoke with a drawl. DragonsRage24 Nix was still half asleep when she felt Cellen begin to move around, feeling his tail entwine with her own she sighed in consideration, knowing for a fact that he was still there, and the night before was not just a dream of fantasy.
Opening her ice blue eyes her vision was a blur but quickly cleared and focused a bit as she felt Cellen tenderly lick her cheek and she smiled and nuzzled against him and pushed herself to stand and stretch. Her legs feeling a bit wobbly, but soon she was able to stand just fine.
"Morning," she said silently nuzzling him gently and she nibbled on his ear a bit and swayed her tail back and forth. Feeling thirst and hunger begging at her body to feed and drink. But those things were begin pushed aside now, she was here with Cellen.
The wind blew gently and carried with itself another scent...male too. Different, in an odd sort of way Nix couldn't really place. It was really on the tip of her tongue. She heard a voice from outside, quite close and she scooted around to lay behind Cellen, ducking her head down as she nudged him, "Someone's outside..." she whispered.
Who would be at the beach at this hour? Well, Cellen was part of a pack, Nix knew that. Were there that many wolves that some came out to this part of the territory. Had to be. But the voice outside and scent carried by the wind gave the sense of another male, strong too, slightly gruff voice. Nix didn't know what to expect.
SO she slinked behind Cellen, as if trying to dissapear and hide behind him for teh time being, not knowing who was outside. RonsoStryder He rumbled with pleasure as the female began to nibble upon his ear and, with a playful nature bubbling forth, the punk wolf pawed at her face and nuzzled against her.
For a moment, Cellen hesitated in thought as he felt as if he was forgetting something; the young, punker was forgetting that he had something to do this morning. Blinking nonchalantly, his ears perked upwards as he staggered to his feet.
"Ah, Marra! I need to leg it and start watch!" he hoarsley whispered as he scrambled up to his feet and made haste towards the entrance of the small hideaway. "But if you come with me then I'm sure I can show you around," he remarked with a smirk.
Brushing up against her, the curly tailed wolf graced her maw with a last kiss until the familiar, deep voice broke the silence.
Oh shi-
As Nix scrambled behind him, Cellen's ears fell flat against his skull while his eyes tightened, not wanting to even look the Alpha in the eyes. A sudden flush of pink bombarded his cheeks as he choked slightly.
"Phib! Eh- Mornin'..." He slid out from his tongue in a stunned and embarassed fashion as he padded several steps closer. "Er- Uh..I'm guessin' you're lookin' for an explaination on me being a bit hot to trot, eh mate?"
He gritted his teeth as he stifled a slight whine. How could he say it? I'm sure explaining that he had suddenly found the love of his life and wanted to be with her would make sense, right? Not likely. His mouth felt as if it went dry and his body numb; Cellen was sure to loose Phibs trust now! And what if he was thrown out of the pack! He'd return to being a wandering soul but, now, at least he had Nix.
"I know I'm in a bit of sixes and sevens, a bit of horlicks even, but I- I found true love." His eyes softened as he glanced back towards the grey female who stood behind him; a comfort and reassurance abiding within his eyes. "I know I've made my share of howlers," he continued as he turned back towards the Alpha, "and I ain't perfect but I guess I let my heart get the better of me."
"I know you're aggro and a bit on the hang-ups about this but, Phib, don't punish my Marra. Just deal the hit for sixes to me and not Nix...." Werewolf Phib made a sound in his throat that to the untrained ear might have sounded threatening, but was actually him swallowing a compulsive laugh. “Well- perhaps not a full explanation.” He drawled, and sat himself down at the mouth of the den, and leaned in a manner he had long since adapted. It hit exactly what he was feeling by appearing somewhat aloof, and keeping his head rigidly straight. “Women or not, I can’t say I care much for you not making some sort of arrangement with the other guards before this... rendevous.” It was the truth. He wasn’t particularly angry, but he couldn’t hide the fact that he wouldn’t tolerate such behavior again. There were time for these things, but not during work time.
Phib was however, somewhat taken aback by Cellen’s remark that he might have remotely considered taking some anger out upon Nix. Although some women accused him of being chuvanistic- he truly did adore them. If a man was involved, it was almost always the man’s fault; he knew from plenty of experience that that was how it rolled. He didn’t fight with women, and the scars on his face were more then enough payment for it. But- it is important to note; he adored women in the sense that Amélie was. She was passive, and clever, but she did not contest him. She would do what he said in all things, when the lines were clear as to what was a game between them and what was not. He demanded respect, but there were few women he had ever nursed a hatred or anger towards. And yet- he was alienated towards the domiant ones. Perhaps one of the reasons he had never mated another alpha.
“Bah.” He spoke flatly, docking the corner of his ear. Love-! One might have expected him to be sympathetic towards love. But it had long been a bane. He didn’t know if this was love or lust between them, and frankly, he didn’t care between the two. “I am not angry.” He spoke simply. “But I expect it to be handle differently next time. If you love her, then so be it, but you need not lie if that’s not the case.”
How many lovers had he had in his day? DragonsRage24 Nix curled her tail somewhat behind her. Feeling bad that she had gotten Cellen into this kind of trouble, and it seemed like this wolf was the alpha as well. Partly her fault this trouble came to be, because of the situations that had occured only the night before, Cellen couldn't have done by himself...Nix knew that for sure.
But she did know she loved him.
"I apologize on my part..." Nix said quietly, almost squeaking halfway through her statement, as short as it was. "I wandered this way, I've been traveling by myself for a long while..." she tried to explain, hoping that this might ease the alpha's worries, and forgive Cellen a bit more if he was angry at all.
"I came this way...to look for my sister," it was the truth, though Noir wasn't her blood sister, they ahd been close as sisters. Nix could remember the days in the valley, of them playing together when Noir would run from her family.
Nix however if questioned about her sister, would have a bit of difficulty. Noir, wasn't actually her real name. NIx had given her that nickname when they were children, because of her black pelt, not relating to the red markings that Noir seemed to hate so much.
"I'm sorry...if my wandering here has caused any trouble Phib," Nix said remembering the wolf's name, for Cellen only moments before. She hoped Phib would understand, perhaps Phib might even know something of where her sister was. Maybe Noir had passed through here. RonsoStryder The ears of the punk wolf flickered and fell back, ashamed of himself and for the duties he did not attend. Cellen was a remorseful wolf yet, in some circumstances, it took a bit of confrentation and realization to what he had done to knock some sense into him.
With his heart thriving on passion and the desires that seemed so right and so real, the reality of it all only could be defined by his willingness to serve and to take punishment upon his own shoulders; to be held accountable for what he had done, and, in this case, not done.
"Please, Phib, forgive me. I can promise that I'll never make this type of howler again and, if something does come up, I'll be sure to leg it over to one of the mates on guard and alert them before I do anything too rash." His curled tail swaggered in a lowly, meager expression as he shifted his weight upon his forepaws. Cellen still had yet to learn the layout and rules of the pack and, sometimes, he felt as if he'd been thrown into it all.
"I'll earn my place again and your trust. Just don't have me left, right and center out of here too quick..."
But at least he had somewhere he could belong, right?
Cerulean orbs glanced back toward the grey female as she spoke up from the silence between them. His maw fell slightly ajar as he tilted his head slightly. "Marra, you're not to blame. I am." Raising a brow as he turned more towards Nix, Cellen paused as he pursed his lips slightly.
"Ah...that's right! You never did tell me what she looks like," he replied with a rather curious and intrigued tone. "I'm sure I can help you look for her, love."
Throughout his stay within the packlands, Cellen had encountered just about every sort of wolf whom had crossed through these packlands. The vagabond, destined lovers, seekers and those whose idea of fun seemed to concern walking endlessly towards the end of the earth but, to their dismay, they always ended up at Phibs packlands. Perhaps he had come across her? Maybe even seen her before? Whatever the case, he'd look for her if Nix allowed him to. Werewolf Phib rumbled faintly and shook his head. He wasn’t about to say he didn’t mind- which he did mind, but, he wasn’t perhaps as displeased as either of them might have imagined. Just as long as it did not become habit or cause any problems, it really was none of his business what they did in the den.
“There’s no trouble.” He spoke towards the female. “You may go and do what you please.”
And to Cellen- “There’s nothing to be forgiven. Just take care in future dealings.”
Once he had concluded with that, Phib adjusted his posture to a more lax one, allowing a weight between his shoulders to drop. So, the lady was looking for her sister? He wasn’t too surprised- most vagabonds were looking for someone or another. “Well, that would depend entirely upon who your sister is.” He quirked. “What does she look like?” DragonsRage24 Nix was glad things seemed to be well between Cellen and Phib now, and she could stay. Perhaps take up a job like Cellen being a guard, but what could she do? She was new to adulthood, but she could try.
She wagged her tail and smiled when they both seemed to be interested about her sister, what she looked like. Maybe they had seen her? If only she had remembered her true name!
"Her name is Noir...well, thats what I call her. She would most likely be smaller then size then me...though we are about the same age. She has amber eyes and a black pelt, much like yours Phib..." She tried to think, what else could she say about Noir?
"Techinically we're not blood sisters...but her brother and sister hated her...so did the rest of the pack...just because of how she looked, I thought it was unfair..." now what could she say? That they had both lost their families in a great panic that was said to be caused by Noir? No. She couldn't do that, Cellen or Phib might get the wrong idea.
"I miss her..." Nix said folding her ears back, "She is the only one left besides me...I don't know what happened to her..." Nix was saddened by everything that had happened. Noir being blamed for what happened, she had heard the rumors that spread after teh valley had gone up in smoke.
She just wished she could find her again... RonsoStryder His ears perked up as a slightly baffled expression drew upon his maw. Phib wasn't angry? Well- though he was upset, the Alpha was both understanding and, to say the least, very forgiving. Cellen had been expecting a punishment or a good bite to reinforce him to realize that he was held accountable and, if another situation such as this occured, he'd be looking at a grim future.
But that wasn't the case.
In due respect and honor, Cellen lowered his head. "Ah, Phib! I owe you, mate! You have my word; I'll never lower myself to a manky wolf and make sure to uphold my duties."
Raising his head upwards as his curled tail thumped with enthusiasm, Cellen let his cerulean orbs drift towards Nix. She was looking for a black-pelted wolfess? Well, the only one that he knew of was Rage. Though he didn't quite know Rage as well as she was one of Caels' close friends, he was at least acquainted with her.
"Well," he spoke with a musing tone, pursing his lips slightly, "there's only one wolfess I can think of that might fit that category...a bit younger, perhaps, but maybe she's who you're looking for. Her name is Rage." Werewolf Phib furrowed his brow, and curled the end of his tail against the bridge of his hip. Rage? He hadn’t seen that one coming, but with a moment to consider it, it did not seem so improbable that it was unlikely. Rage had come from another pack, and he’d long figured it was only a matter of time before someone other then Arguin came looking for her. “Rage then?” He questioned, waiting for her response. He didn’t know any other black females that lived in this pack- except perhaps Audi, and he doubted that was who she was talking about.
Speaking of which...where had that girl gotten to? DragonsRage24 Nix swayed her tail and listened while Cellen and Phib spoke of one they knew with a black pelt. But did the wolfess have any red markings on her? That was the key.
But how they spoke of the wolf, Nix tail began to wag, her eyes starting to glitter...was it possible? She was alive? Confirmation of this hit her like hitting a brick wall...Rage. They spoke her name...her real name. Her tail wagged excitedly and she pawed at the ground. Rage was alive!
Then that meant....she just had to tell her when she found her!
"Rage, she's okay? Alright yes? How is her heart is it bothering her?" a million questions filled Nix's head. She had to see her! Tell Rage about her travels, finding Cellen and everything! If Rage was really alive...that meant that she would be the oldest of the remaining pack...Nix was a few days younger then Rage. Though Nix grew at a faster rate.
What would happen though once she found Rage? Would they go back...Nix would never leave Cellen...but Rage...what would she do?
Nix shook ehr head to clear her thoughts and she seemed obviously excited, "Do you know where she is?" Phib had to know, he was the alpha. Surely he or Cellen knew.
Oh how good it would be to see her! RonsoStryder "Rage?" His ears perked upwards as a wide grin spread across his maw. So, Nix was looking for Rage this whole time? Cellen chuckled softly as he brushed against her and tenderly planted a kiss upon her nose. "Yes, Marra, she's fine! Well, except there was a run-in with a strange wolf, Arguin. That manky mutt was trying to take her away but yours truly and Phib stepped in and sent them leggin' it out of the pack lands."
The recollections of Arguin remained engraved and fresh within his train of thought. Arguin- how he hated that wolf! Even thinking about him made him grit his teeth and supress deep hackles that emitted from his chest!
One day, Arguin would pay.
One day Cellen and Cael would see to it.
Shaking his head and tearing his thoughts from upon that twisted, ill-willed wolf, Cellen pondered the next question.
"Well, Rage seems to be always hanging around Cael lately. So my bet is that where we'll find Cael, will find Rage," he mused as his metal ridden ears flickered and shifted.
Glimpsing towards the outside of the cave, Cellen padded a few steps forwards as his curled tail swayed nonchalantly behind him. He couldn't even remember seeing Cael this morning and, truthfully, he didn't have the slightest clue on where the two love birds would be.
But Phib might.
"I don't remember seeing Cael or Rage this morning, Phib. How about you, mate?" Werewolf So it was Rage- how interesting, and yet it seemed fitting. So many wolves seemed to have come on account of the small black female. She might have felt she was weak, but she certainly had a nature about her that was pooling others towards her. But the real question was, had he seen her?
Phib thought back, reviewing the day. He’d gone to see if Cellen was still gone, then he’d gone to see Amélie about where he was. He couldn’t remember seeing Rage, but assuredly she and Cael would be together. “She would be with Cael I imagine.” He spoke, the corners of his ear shifting. “I can’t say I’ve seen her this morning though. It’s not too hot out yet- I would think they’d be around the beach about now.” DragonsRage24 Nix pawed at the ground with anticipation, she wanted to see Rage so much, it had been so long. So many questions, of if Rage changed, if she had a mate like Nix did Cellen, what had happened to her thus far since they had been apart.
Had she ever thought of going home...
"The beach?" Nix turned to Cellen with ive blue eyes that were pleading with his, "please, can we go and see if she's there please?" she asked, mroeso begged under the stress and exhileration that had occured over the past day or so.
Then Nix turned back to Phib with the same look in her eyes, "Can we go to her, please?"
----------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile Rage indeed was on the beach, but not with Cael, she was alone. Rage had found herself like that the more recent days. She was trying to get stronger, to prepare for what was to come. But she felt alone...
Rage had gone to meet up with Cael this morning, but he wasn't there, out, probably hunting or something. SO she had wandered to the beach, and was laying on "her rock" looking into her reflection. As if trying to call upon a force within her that could only be seen in the rippling water. RonsoStryder The punk wolf peered into the softened, blue eyes of his mate and, never being able to refuse, he nooded his head. "Of course, Marra, of course!" Brushing up underneath her chin, Cellen drew a deep, soothing rumble from his chest and nuzzled against her.
"Let's not waste anytime...you never know where they'll venture off to," he commented as he began padding towards the opening of the small cave and glanced about.
His brows furrowed slightly as he gritted his teeth slightly.
"Cael, where are you, mate?" -----------------------------------------------
Running.
That's what he was doing.
As his paws swept across the coarse grass with great stride, the purple and black hued wolf blazed through the wooded area of the packlands. There was something- something was calling towards him. He didn't know what it was, but, it was telling him to run; To run towards the ocean. Not really taking the time to question the feelings, he persued the ocean.
With his tongue lolling out of his mouth with deep breaths, the young teen darted towards the right and began deviating towards the breaker rocks and where the small surf washed upon the warm sands.
Continuing upon a downgrade of rock and sand, Cael stumbled and headed towards the beach. Staggering in step as the deep sands engulfed his every footstep, the teen gritted his teeth and pressed onwards until he came towards the waters edge.
"Still fresh," he muttered as he walked paw deep into the water and winced. A small trail of blood drew from underneath his paws; the cost for finding mischief. Letting the wounds soak and heal, the young teen stood there.
The sharp smell of the ocean overtook his nostrils, stinging unceasingly, until a familiar scent plauged his senses.
"Rage?" He called out as he glimpsed towards the ocean breakers; the long row of rocks that stood a few feet away. Werewolf Phib had a feeling his work here was complete. But there was a sense of curiosity involving the girls that for the moment kept him following behind the now enthused Nix and loving Cellen. Rage had been acting funny recently. But between his dealings with Audi, and the rest of the teens, it was hard to say who legitimately acting out and who was simply being rebellious. He was good with adult women. But these teenagers confused the hell out of him. DragonsRage24 Nix was pawing at the ground and letting her legs carry her as fast as Cellen would lead. Nix would finally see Rage again! It could just be like old times, well, not exactly. But it could be! Nix wasn't sure though. She hoped Rage hadn't changed too much.
Down the shore they went, Cellen leading of course, Nix following him close behind. Phib was still with them too. Ice eyes scanned the shore ahead of them, what seemed like two far off shadows were down the shore. Maybe Rage was one of them, with that thought Nix's expression grew even more excited.
But who was the other shadow?
------------------------------------
Rage was still staring at her reflection when she heard someone approach her from behind. She almost flinched but when she heard Cael speak all thoughts that 'he' was there faded.
Rage wanted to be prepared, but she didn't know how to fight, how to protect. When she had met with Meskeet, Meskeet told Rage to live she needed to fight, but how coulf she fight if she didn't know how? Something inside Rage told her to just let go, but she couldn't, if she did, she was afraid she'd turn into something like Arguin.
Then everyone would hate her...
She sighed and put her paws over her head, as if trying to block out the world and her thoughts and her past. But there would be no escape, for some reason Rage was feeling alone when there were obviously others around... RonsoStryder His paws swept in long, leaping strides as the punk wolf trailed down the sandy incline and began diverting himself towards the rocky breaker that outstretched into the ocean. Cerulean orbs drifted to where a mass of black sat upon the breakers and, down upon the shoreline of the beach, another figure stood within the ocean.
With the lingering scent of the salty sea, the familiar scent of a good friend penetrated his nostrils. A wide grin spread across his maw as his curled tail swayed a mile a minute.
"Cael! Mate! Where have you been this mornin'?" He exclaimed with his drawn, british accent as he ran towards the younger male and launched himself upon him. Though there was little time for the teen to react, Cellen pinned the male and began nipping at his ear and pawed at his face.
Pinned upon his back and sprawled out within the waters of the ocean, the young teen let a smirk spread across his face as he nipped at the punk wolf. "Hey, hey!" He growled as he rolled onto his side and staggered up to all fours. "I told you this morning but you were still asleep!"
"Well...just tell me again next time then," Cellen chuckled as he stepped aside the male and settled upon his haunches, his curled tail sweeping through the rolling waves that washed upon the shore.
"Have you seen Rage?"
"Yeah. I think she's up on the breaker but,- well, she's not talkin' to me." His ears swiveled back as a rather disheartened look washed upon his maw.
"I'm not sure if I did something wrong."
She had been acting strange lately, and, Cael couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Did he do something wrong? Did he offend her? He had no clue. Perhaps the female just needed some solitude and time alone? Perhaps.
Shrugging his shoulders and shaking his head, Cellen softly laughed. "Give it time, mate, give it time. Just keep your distance and be curtious, chivalrous and caring; The three C's, mate." Turning back towards Nix and Phib, Cellen nodded his head and directed his gaze towards the rocky breakers. "She's up there, Nix."

.::.I Need To Tell You Something: Taima/ Damu.::. Tamiko-chan The young female paced back and forth in front of the den she shared with her mate and their adopted daughter, Kaede. It was a nice day... blue skies, sun shining overhead with little clouds in the sky. But something wasn't right with her. Her ears were folded back and her head was hanging low, her nose not too far from the ground. Her tail was even tucked between her legs, a sure sign that something was up; Taima never did that.
Stopping in her pacing for a moment, her eyes flicked up towards the seemingly perfect sky. It made her feel bland and like nothing with its vastness and great beauty.
Sighing, Tai tore her gaze away from the heavens and focused them instead on her paws. A moment later and something moved inside of her stomach, causing the female to jump slightly and spin in a quick circle. Stuff like that had been happening a lot recently, and she was beginning to think it was more than just a muscle spasm or stomach problems.
"Damu.." she whispered to herself, glancing off to the side and into the forest in which he had gone off to hunt in. "How will I tell you?" RonsoStryder Staying low and creeping within the stark, shrouding shadows that were casted from the boughs and towering trees above, the white and black wolf gritted his teeth. How many times had he gone to hunt in the last days? Too many, he thought as his keen emerald orbs drifted to where the two limp, bloodied rabbits sat basking with in the confines of the shade. Damu had put up a struggle to chase them down and snap their necks but, in the end, it was worth it.
Taima had been- well, to say the least, different lately. Her appitite and overall personality seemed to shift and bring a dawning to one that was tired, restless and, apparently on account that he was back within the thick forest of the packlands, always hungry.
Rising up as he slid his forepaws outwards, the tapered- fur wolf let a wide yawn escape from his maw as he walked over towards the two rabbits and scooped them up, clenching them within the midsts of his jaws.
"Hope this is enough," he mumbled as the fur and oozing blood from the victims seeped into his maw and disconfigured his speech.
It didn't take long to return back towards the den- a few minutes or so at the haste that the young adult was making. Stiff-leggedly proceeding forwards as he was unsure if both Taima and Kaede were still asleep, Damu called out with a soft voice, muffled between both jaws and rabbit.
"Taima?"
Glancing towards the side, he caught sight of the mossy-green and black female still within the grounds of the den. A warm smile trailed upon his maw as he padded closer.
Releasing his grasp and letting the two rabbits upon the floor, Damu let his tongue hang out from his mouth as he pawed away the congregated, wet rabbit fur from off of it. Ick! What a horrible feeling! Shaking his head and setting his paw back onto the ground, he smiled.
"I got two rabbits, love. I hope that's enough," he softly reported as he brushed up against her and planted a tender kiss upon her maw. "All the deer have wandered elsewere today." Tamiko-chan And that was another thing that had changed lately. Not only was her stomach moving around strangely, but her apetite had grown immensely. She was eating almost twice of what she normally did, and Damu had to spend more and more time away from her because he had to hunt to keep her hunger at bay. She felt terrible for doing so, and that's why she stood with her head lowered and tail tucked.
When he finally came back, and apparently with a nice kill, she smiled and wagged her tail a bit between her legs. "It's perfect, Damu," she whispered, pressing herself into his fur and attempting to hide her face. She was ashamed for making him work so hard. Did he know why?
She should tell him, she knew, but how? This, of course, was an entirely new thing to her, and she wasn't quite sure how to go about with it.
"D-Damu.. I have... something to tell you," she stammered, still trying to hide her face from him. What would he think? She hoped he wouldn't mind and wouldn't leave her or anything. Wait, what was she thinking about? Of course he wouldn't leave her! That was simply impossible. Damu would be there for her always.
Repeating this over and over in her mind, the moss-colored female pulled away from him for a moment to look into his eyes. How would he take it? RonsoStryder A flood of pink seemed to overcome his face as Taima pressed against him, nuzzling deep into his tapered and jagged fur. Smiling as a rumble emitted from his chest, the white and black swirled male chuckled softly as she seemed embarassed. What was Taima hiding from? This was strange, very strange indeed.
His black ears perked upwards as he drew closer towards her, wafting his muzzle within her fur as he intook her scent; the delightful auroma that made his very senses wild and unruly.
"Oh...and what would that be, love?" he replied with a low, soothing whisper as he reached upwards and nibbled upon her ear in a tender manner. But as she pulled away, he loosened his grip from upon her ears and settled his emerald orbs upon her.
What was she trying to tell him? His brows furrowed slightly as his tail thumped and swayed with a mixture of both curiosity and, to be honest, fear. Was it something serious? Did she not feel for him anymore?
No, he thought as he gently closed his eyes and sighed softly, Taima and I could never loose our feelings for one another.
"Taima," he began as he quirked an eyebrow upwards, "are you alright? Lately- I mean, you haven't been yourself lately. Are you sick?" Tamiko-chan Taima hesitated for a moment. She wasn't at all sure about all of this, and she couldn't come to a decision of what her mate's possible reactions might be. She knew that he'd be by her side no matter what but... this was just something else. This was a life-changing thing that was going on. She hoped they could handle it together.
Her ears perked slightly when he voiced that he noticed she hadn't been herself lately. That was completely true. She'd been eating more and had been having more mood swings than she ever thought anyone could possibly have. She was just glad that he put up with them for so long. But how long would it last?
Shaking her head, she forced herself to think positive. Damu would stick by her, no matter what. This would probably bring them closer. After all...
"No, no, I'm not sick," she murmured, smiling slightly. "Damu... I'm pregnant." RonsoStryder "Ah, not sick," he repeated as the weight of fear and uncertainty lifted off his shoulders, "but pregnant..." his maw suddenly dropped as his ears pricked forwards. "Pregnant! You mean- you're...all this time you- you're pregnant!"
Words and thoughts alike could not roll of his tongue nor be uttered. Taima was pregnant! Since they had found one another and been mates, they had tried several times to have a family of their own but, for reasons that he never could understand, they never had been successful. But it didn't matter now, no- all those failed attempts were like scattered, forgotten dreams now. Damu was going to be a father.
A wide, unbearable grin spread across his maw as his emerald orbs widened. How could he be mad or storm away with hatred? No- this was too good to be true! They were going to be parents!
"That's great- no, amazing! Fantabulous!" Cuddling against her as he seized her muzzle with licks and kisses, the white and black swirled male softly laughed. "We're going to be parents! Parents, Taima!"
Such swell of emotions and feelings, those same feelings that overtook him when he first met his mate, washed over him completely; engulfing him as he still couldn't believe it.
Drawing his muzzle lightly across her cheek and towards her belly, Damu rubbed his nose against it and chuckled softly as his emerald orbs peered up back towards his mate.
"We're going to be parents, love. We'll have a family!" Tamiko-chan Taima couldn't help but let out this great sigh of relief when her mate grew completely excited about the whole thing. She grinned then let her ears perk forward compeltely and her tail come out from between her legs. She couldn't have wanted anything different from him when she told him the news and he had that reaction. It was just the best way that he could have handled it, she thought.
"Yes, parents!" she said, a great smile on her face. She felt that there was no way to really express her joy of finally starting a family with probably the only male who understood her. It was simply amazing. Finally, after all of this time, they were going to be real parents! They would have children that shared their own flesh and blood. Finally, after all those tries, their work would be payed off. They'd have a family all of their own.
When he leaned down and nudged her belly, she couldn't help but giggle. It was cut short, however, when the puppies inside of her kicked in response to the nudge.
"Oh, love, I think they want to say hello to their father," she laughed, shifting slightly so that she was standing and her belly was more exposed. It was simply amazing. There was life growing inside of her, and it had happened all with the help of her mate. They were going to be parents!
But then suddenly something came to her. What about--
"Kaede," she suddenly said, the smile fading from her pretty face as she looked over towards the den where their adopted daughter was still sleeping. "How do you think she'll take it?" she asked softly, her eyes losing their brightness. What if Kaede didn't like it? RonsoStryder He became slightly startled and surprised when he felt a kick and movement. Damu couldn't help but laugh softly as he slid upwards and brushed underneath his mates chin.
"Well, I bet there's a son in there. A good, strong boy whose just like his dad," he grinned as he nuzzled against her, immense joy and the slightest of shock still gripping onto him.
He, Damu, was going to be a father! With Taima, they would have their own family; their first real family!
But when his mate mentioned Kaede, his ears swiveled back as he furrowed his brows in sorrow.
"Well," he softly replied as his own emerald orbs glimpsed to where the young female slept, "she will be much older than them...I think it is best for her to take on an "older sister" role in this case. I'm sure, with given time, everything will fall into place, love."
As his orbs drifted back towards his mate, Damu let a warm, reassuring smile cross his maw as he rumbled softly.
"Everything will work out, Taima. I- I just know it." Tamiko-chan Taima was a little reassured by her mate's words, but still wasn't completely convinced. There was going to be a time, she knew, when Kaede would catch on and learn that her real parents weren't the ones that were taking care of her. It was only her naive and childish nature which protected her from the truth at this point in her life. What would happen if and when she found out?
Hopefully, that time was far away.
Voicing her thoughts, she glanced at her mate then hesitantly back towards the den that they shared. It wouldn't be so roomy once their new family was born.
"But she'll find out eventually, Damu," she replied, her voice cracking with nervousness. Tai didn't know if she'd be able to handle their current 'daughter' learning the truth. How would Kaede react to it? "Don't you think she might be mad that we didn't tell her the truth?" But the truth hurt a lot of the time. At her current stage in life, however, being as young as she was, the truth would probably hurt her more now.
Yet, she figured, there was no use worrying about it now. Perhaps they'd be able to convince Kaede that these were her true siblings, at least for a while.
Sighing, the mother-to-be smiled weakly at her mate and nuzzled into him for comfort. "I just hope she doesn't hate us." RonsoStryder He didn't like to think of Kaede finding out; Damu found that the realization was all too tangible for him and the smallest thought of what drama and heartache could erupt made him wince and close his eyes. Sighing softly, the white and black swirled male flicked his eyes open as he settled his emerald orbs upon his mate.
"But to tell her the truth so soon? We can only do so much until she figures out for herself but, until then, we'll have to make the best of it." His black ears swiveled, a slight hesitation resting upon his maw as his thoughts mused.
How long Kaede would believe that she was in the company of her younger brother and sisters would be a bit challenging but, for the sake of keeping her with them, he'd have to try something.
Rumbling softly as he daintily nibbled on her ear, Damu nuzzled against her. "We can only do so much, love. In the begining, she might resent us but, later on, she might come to understand that we loved her and saved her." Letting a weak smile trail across his maw, the white and black male sat upon his haunches and thumped his tail.
"Only time will tell." Tamiko-chan Taima nodded. The words that her mate spoke were absolutely true. All they could do for Kaede was help her along and support her in any way possible. If they told her sooner, she might still dislike them but later on realize the good in what they did. But if they wait and she finds out for herself, the outcome may very well turn out to be the same. So, really, whatever they did they seemed to end up with the same ending.
So, with that little thought in mind, she forced herself to smile. Yet it wasn't so hard when she began to think again about how they were finally going to be parents and how they were finally getting the family that they always wanted.
Wagging her tail slightly, she nipped his ear playfully and giggled. "You're right. And I think I should stop worrying so much now. I will deal with it all when it happens." Yes, that was for the best, she thought.
Unable to contain herself for much longer, she finally just jumped to her paws and pounced on him. "We're going to be parents!" she squealed, her tail wagging a mile a minute. RonsoStryder Damu thumped his tail upon the ground and chuckled softly, the playful nipping at his ears only made a broader smile trail across his maw. "You should! There is not time to worry, Taima!"
Before he could even utter another word, Damu found himself to stumble upon his back, taken by surprise by his crafty and oh-so-sly mate, Taima. Peering up towards her, the white and black swirled male couldn't help but laugh.
"Parents!" He barked with immense thrill. "But just remember, Tai. I can't roughhouse back....you have our future in your stomach," he grinned as he breached upwards and licked her muzzle.
"So...I guess I'm at your mercy until the pups are born." Tamiko-chan Taima grinned when her mate realized that he couldn't really do anything back to her after she had pounced on him. It gave her a momentary feeling of control, but in a second it faded and meant nothing to her. So, grumbling happily, she merely smiled and nuzzled into him.
"How many do you think we'll have, Damu?" she asked, laying on her side next to him, her swelling belly clearly in view. She hoped she had at least two. For some reason, she felt that one would just be too little for her. She wasn't quite sure what on earth her logic was getting at, but she knew that she wanted at least two puppies.
Glancing at the den once more, she figured that more would be better. If there were more puppies, perhaps Kaede would find herself too preoccupied with playing around with her 'siblings' to really think about if she was actually related to them or not.
Yet, as she had said before, there was no use worrying about it now.
"I think I want at least two," she murmured, thinking again about the little lives inside of her belly. Boy was she excited! Finally, they were going to be parents! RonsoStryder The white and black swirled male chuckled softly as his mate nuzzled into his tapered, jagged furn. A soothing, soft rumble emitted from his chest as he peered up towards her with a ponderous look drawn upon his maw. "Well," he began as he stuck out his tongue slightly on the side, "It can't be one. That's too few for us. Maybe around three or four?"
Glimpsing towards her belly, Damu couldn't help but softly laugh as he tenderly drew his nose across it. "I've always wanted a big family."
A big family! Yes, that's what he wanted! To him, three to five always seemed like a good number and, personally, he wanted at least a son or two to teach them the ropes of becoming a successful leader and, maybe, even a bit of a ladies man. A wide grin slid across his maw as the continutious invision of thoughts bombarded his train of thought. However many pups and ratio of boys and girls, Damu couldn't care less.
Sure he wished that those would come true but, in the long run, Damu still was bewildered and estatic that, finally, they would have a family!
"Just as long as there is a boy or two then I think it will be perfect," he grinned. Tamiko-chan Taima giggled and pawed at her mate's face when he drew his nose across her belly. Her belly was ticklish to begin with, and it seemed that the puppies inside of her belly were also ticklish, making the feeling even more powerful despite how tenderly he had pressed his nose to her belly.
"Heey, that tickles!" she laughed, bowing down slightly as she nuzzled his neck and gently head-butted him with her forehead. The puppies seemed to agree with their mother, for they moved around signifigantly after she had said that, causing the moss-colored female to whine suddenly and roll over onto her side.
"I think the puppies agree," she huffed, smiling slightly despite the pain that had just coursed through her body. But, she figured, she'd have to get used to it, being as she heard that childbirth could be hell.
Nonetheless, she was looking forward to it all. She was going to be a mother!
Still laughing somewhat, she nipped his ear then settled down again, the pain fading away. "Yes... at least one daughter for me and one son for you, eh?" RonsoStryder A wide-spread grin overtook his maw as he could feel the pups within the confines of Tai's stomach shift. As she nuzzled and head-butted against him, the white and black male chuckled softly.
"Oh," he commented as he stretched upwards and brushed against his mates muzzle, licking her tenderly upon the nose. "I think they're just taking your side; you're all ticklish."
A flood of pink overtook his face as she nibbled upon his ears. "If I can have a son then you can have the rest of them be girls. I just want a boy to carry on their fathers blood," he laughed softly as he rolled onto his back and peered at his mate.
"But I'll settle for anything," he whispered with a warm smile. "I just want a big family...." Tamiko-chan Taima smiled and nipped at him a little. "Of course they are taking my side! They are living inside of me." How that really had anything to do with taking sides, she wasn't quite sure, but it's what she had come up with and it was what she had said. So what is done is done.
Smiling, she nuzzled him again then lay down next to him, resting her head on his paws. Her tail swayed gently back and forth behind her, sweeping away some dust as it did so. It made her happy to know that Damu would always be there beside her, forever and for always. He'd stay by her side and she'd stay by his. Her heart raced in a flurry of delight when they talked about how many children they would have and whether they would be male or female.
Nibbling at his paws, she giggled again slightly. "I will give you a big family," she whispered, glancing up at him then giving him an affectionate nuzzle.
Yes... they'd have a big family together and everything would be perfect. RonsoStryder A smug look drew across his maw as he rolled his eyes, a chuckle sounding from his chest. "They might take your side now but, later on, I think they just might side with good ol' dad." Though pups mostly sided with their mothers and rarely could divert themselves to side with their fathers, Damu could only toy with his mate and let the anticipation for the birithin to stir up his emotions.
He could only await for when the day Tai gave birth would come.
Whining softly and rumbling low as his mate nibbled at his paws, Damu smiled warmly and he pressed his nose against hers and closed his eyes.
"And you're the only one I'd ever have a family with, Tai," he softly spoke as he brushed against her and nibbled at her ears.
Glancing over towards Kaede, the white and black wolf tilted his head slightly.
"What do you think they'll look like? Swirls, stripes, splotchey, spattered?" Tamiko-chan Taima narrowed her eyes playfully at Damu. "Oh really now?" She grinned and seemed amused that he would think that. Like him, she knew that pups often sided with their mothers. It probably had something to do with the fact that they were with their mothers from the very beginning and depended on their mothers even before they were born.
But, she supposed, it could always be that that was just the way things were. It worked for her, and so she merely shrugged it off and nibbled on his toes. Yet when he asked her what she thought their puppies might look like, she glanced over him and then tried to take a look at herself.
"Hm... well, I think they'll take a lot after their handsome daddy," she laughed, head-butting him again just for the fun of doing so.
"I think I'd like them to have lots of swirls." For some reason, she had a thing for swirls. It was probably the fact that there were so many different designs available for swirls. Even though swirls were just swirls, they could be different sizes and lengths and come together to create something else. But then, it could also be that she liked swirls because her mate had some himself.
Grinning, she merely shrugged. "What do you think?" RonsoStryder He sheepishly smiled as he rumbled with a light laughter. "Oh, well, they'll have to take after their mother. Or what good will it be?" Damu pressed his head against hers as he too head-butted against Tai with a tender and compassionate manner.
"Swirls?" He tilted his head slighlty as a slightly perplexed expression drew upon his lips. Somehow he had though of how his "future family" would look and, now, the realityof actually being able to see what his new family would look like only made him grin.
"Well," he began as he furrowed his brows in thought, "I think they'll have their mothers eyes, first of all. For their fur, maybe, a bit of white an some varaitions of green and, of course, black. And for the patterns, swirls and splotches of colors or," arching a brow, Damu stuck out his tongue slightly as the final thoughts were stumbling through his mind, "maybe some new, sporatic design."
Resting his head upon his paws, Damu sighed softly and glimpsed towards his mate.
"How does that sound?" Tamiko-chan Taima blushed slightly when her mate said that they'd have to take after her. She didn't think she was all that pretty, and so she believed that they should take more after their father. But, she figured, they'd come out how they came out; she wouldn't be able to change it even if she wanted to. But, she supposed, their puppies would be perfect no matter what.
Her ears perked slightly as she listened to what Damu thought their pups would look like. His idea was more into detail than hers, and she felt a bit shameful about not thinking more on it. These were her pups, her family, her future!
"Ooh, a random design sounds interesting. Don't you think it'd be cool if ouy pups came out looking totally random?" Sure, that would they wouldn't bear much of a resemblance to their parents, but it'd sure make for some laughs, she thought. After all, it'd be strange but also interesting if they created a blue or pink or some other oddly colored offspring.
"And I think that this has all got me excited," she yipped, nipping at him once again. Yes, she was very excited. She simply couldn't wait until the puppies arrived! RonsoStryder Damu quirked a brow as the idea sunk within his train of thought. Random colors? Random puppies? He chuckled as the idea did seem too plausible; oh, the history of the colorations and hues of his family were not exactly,-well normal.
"...A pink puppy?" He grinned as he shook his head with a whistful sight. "Its possible, I won't deny that. My family has had a bit of "unique" members with random colors and, maybe, we'll find ourselves the proud parents of a pink spattered puppy with black swirls and red dipped paws."
He could admit it; He too was excited to see what random, sporatic surprises fate would deal to them. Laughing as he nibbled at his mates paws, Damu let his shoulders relax as his tail thumped behind him.
"It's all up to fate." Tamiko-chan Taima couldn't help but laugh a little when he suggested a pink puppy. Her family hadn't really been one to have random throw-back colors, but, as he had just mentioned, his family was a bit random when it came to colors. So perhaps his genes would win out when it came to pelt colors and designs and their puppies would be totally different from her parents. She thought it would be cool if they were like that, but she wanted at least one puppy to look like one of them, either her or Damu. Otherwise...
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see," she murmured, winking then nibbling on his ears. The suspense was just too great!
She couldn't wait until they were due to be born... RonsoStryder He wrinkled his muzzle as he pawed at her face in a tender gesture. Wait? he couldn't wait! No! He wanted to have the puppies be born soon! A warm smile slid across his maw as he settled his emerald orbs upon his mate.
"Taima, I don't think I can wait much longer," he whispered as he nuzzled against her. Rumbling with pleasure as his mate gnawed soothingly upon his ears, the white and black swirled wolf let a small sigh escape from his lips. "Can't we just forward time?"
Impatient- yes! But Damu had been waiting to witness the birth of his family with Tai for so long! Tai had finally become pregnant but, to him, the time left to wait was all to agonizing. Tamiko-chan The moss-colored female grinned at her mate. She could tell how impatient he was being, and she couldn't exactly blame him. Just like him, she had waited for the birth of her very own family for a long time, perhaps long before she had met Damu. It was just a female thing, wanting a family of her own at some point or another.
"Well, perhaps it's not as far away as you think," she hinted, head-butting him once more with her forehead. It was a female thing to be able to predict when a litter would be born. Females, more than anything, understood gestation periods and due dates in and out completely. It was like some knowledge that was stored in the very back of the brain, but was there nonetheless.
However, just to tease him, she would reveal nothing more about the due date or any other sort of information pertaining to the birth. Well, perhaps she would, but he'd have to work for it. RonsoStryder Damu's very maw seemed to drop as Taima teased him with the well-known information she was hiding. Oh, females thought they were so sly! It was more than fact that the females were keen at decifering when they were due to give birth but, for the males, they were often left to be informed right when their mates yelled for their accompanyment and assitance. But Damu couldn't let that happen. No- he had to know!
Growling softly in a playful manner, the white and black swirled male breached his head upwards and tugged upon his mates ears. "You know, don't you! Come on, Tai! Tell me!"
Pawing at her face and whining much like a small pup, Damu wouldn't- no, he couldn't let her tease him and not share her information.
"PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!"
Slinking his head down, the male shifted his body downwards and, with a tender, caressing touch, drew his nose across her belly.
"Come on, Tai!" Tamiko-chan Tai giggled and snuggled herself against him as he seemed to figure out her little hint. He now knew that she was harboring information about the due date of the pups, and she felt like some sort of princess with the knowledge and power that she held over him--in a sense--just by knowing something vital and important like this.
But, when Damu drew his nose across her belly, she softened completely and sank down into him, her green eyes catching his. In his, she saw the father of her pups, gentle and willing to protect them no matter what. She saw a father that would give anything and everything for his pups, and by seeing that she saw that she should tell him.
"Three weeks," she whispered, nuzzling him tenderly and affectionately, as if she were trying to apologize for making him crazy for a moment there, for making him anxious for the information to be revealed to him.
"Or around three weeks, at least," she added, smiling and giving him a quick kiss to his nose. RonsoStryder Three weeks.
The mind of the white and black swirled male felt as if every thought was crowding his flow of recollections, memories and reflections; causing everything to sudden cease as everything focused around one thing. The coming weeks.
An unbearable grin spread across his maw as Taima planted a kiss upon his nose and nuzzled into his thick, tapered fur. He chuckled softly as he paralleled his own emerald orbs with those of the brilliant, glistening orbs of his mate. Damu couldn't believe it; in about three weeks he would be a father and, at last, Taima would be a mother to his pups.
"That's wonderful! It seems like there's so little time, love! Tell me, what needs to get done so we can have a more puppy-safe enviorment?" He questioned as he pressed his nose against hers and whined softly.
"Whatever you and the pups need, I'll find." Tamiko-chan Taima wagged her tail uncontrollably as her mate grew thrilled with the information. She was glad that she had told him, for she seemed to have made him happier simply by sharing that little bit of female intuition with him. She also felt that it brought them closer, for there were no longer any more secrets in between them.
Then, when he asked what she and the puppies needed, she merely smiled and shook her head at him.
"All we need right now," she whispered, nuzzling herself against him a little bit more, "is the father. And you are already here, so it seems that our situation is perfect." Sighing happily, Tai rested her head on his paws and closed her eyes. She was a little tired from telling him the news and celebrating a little, and the puppies growing inside of her only made her more tired.
"I love you, Damu," she mumbled, afterwards drifting off into blissful sleep. RonsoStryder His ears perked upwards a a softened expression drew up upon his maw, a low rumble emitting from his chest as he affectionately licked his mate and nuzzled against her. She was everything to him and, now, she was soon to become the greatest ranks of all; a mother.
The situation was...perfect.
As Tai rested her head upon his paws, Damu threw his head over and onto his mates neck. Brushing himself against her as he nestled closer towards her, Damu nibbled tenderly upon her ears.
"I love you, Taima. Sleep well, soon-to-be-mother," he whispered soothingly as he too was finding it hard to keep his eyes open any longer. With the sensation of weights upon his eyeslids, the whtie and black swirled wolf closed his eyes and began falling hostage into sleep.

.::.What's Going On?: Taima/ Kaede/ Damu.::. Tamiko-chan The moss-colored mother-to-be sighed in contentment. She was finally going to have that family she had dreamed about all this time, and she was to have it with the sweetest and most adorable wolf on the face of the earth: her lovely mate, Damu.
By now, Tai was noticably larger and rounder in the middle. It was obvious that she was pregnant, expecting puppies some time soon. She only wondered why Kaede hadn't noticed anything lately, or at least hadn't said anything if she had noticed. Perhaps it was because she merely thought she was eating a lot and gaining weight, which was probably what she should believe at this point. How would she handle it, the fact that she is adopted?
Trying not to think of such an unstable topic, she moved on to different things, like how the puppies were going to be and what they might possibly look like. Of course, that was an even more unstable topic considering the variation genes could produce, so Taima merely rolled onto her side in front of the den.
Damu was supposedly taking Kaede out hunting or some such, and she breifly wondered when they would be back. But then the exhaustion of carrying little wolves in her belly finally kicked in, and she closed her eyes for a short nap. RonsoStryder Bloodstained and quite tired as the morning proved to be quite successful, Damu held tight to the neck of a small fawn who fell victim by luck within the jaws of the white and black swirled male. Taima's appitite had increased voraciously and, as her loving mate, he sought to do all he could to keep the soon mother-to-be content and happy. Besides, no one liked a cranky wolf.
Dragging the prize catch along, Damu glanced over towards Kaede as they came within several feet of the den. "Kaede," he called out with a slightly muffled voice as his jaws still clung around the fawn. "Where did you go?"
Emerald orbs scanned round about for the small pup, seeking to find her. The last time he saw her was when she was chasing a butterfly around mocking how to hunt just like her good ol' dad.
But he couldn't find her.
"Kaede...sweety," he wuffed as his tail thumped behind him with a concern. "Where are you?" Black ears flickered as he dropped the deer and began pacing round about, frantic as thought whirled within his head.
"Did I loose her?"
"I swear she was here a minute ago!"
"Taima's gonna kill me!"
Muttering to himself as he whined softly, Damu roamed about searching for his lost daughter.
"Kaede..." DragonsRage24 Crouching down low not making a sound, Kaede's tail swayed back and forth in a calm motion as she stalked her prey. Ears flat against her skull as if trying to sink into her surroundings slowly she crept forward, trying to not make a single sound.
One....two....three!
Kaede burst out from a bush and tried to grasp onto Damu's tail with her tiny teeth and missed, tumbling into his back legs and falling to teh ground with a thump. She glared at his tail thinking "next time you won't be so lucky".
"I'm right here daddy!" Kaede said outwardly standing up adn shaking herself before padding in front of Damu, "I was trying to catch you..." or his tail rather. Then she noticed how much food he was carrying, surely Kaede didn't eat THAT much...Taima was getting...how to say...rounder...maybe she was hungrier, that had to be it, "Daddy...why is mommy so hungry?" Tamiko-chan The slight ruckus that her small family was making was enough to wake up the female. Of course, the heat and the squirming puppies inside of her also helped to rouse up the sleeping wolf.
Groaning slightly in pain, she lifted her head slightly to get a glimpse of her surroundings. Still at the den. Of course, where else would she be? Shaking her head a little to clear it, her ears flicked this way and that as her bright green orbs continued to roll around from bush to bush, trying to make sense of anything and everything. Finally she realized that there was noise nearby, and it made her tail thump against the ground.
"Damu? Kaede? Are you two back so soon?" she grinned, slowly raising to her paws. Man, it was growing increasingly harder to lift herself up with all of this extra weight! RonsoStryder As a small tug pulled his tail but, either slippery or with a mind of its own, his tail slid out from grip, Damu perked his ears upwards and glanced down only to find the small female in front of him.
A wash of relief doused over him as he smiled warmly and leaned down to nuzzle her. "Catch me? Well you did a good job," he chuckled with a deep rumble as he leaned down and nuzzled her. When the inquisitive nature of Kaede bubbled forth, Damu hesitated but rolled on with an answer.
"Well, Kaede, mommy's- well, she needs alot of food right now and a bit of its for us too. And-"
Just before he could go onto explain, Damu tilted his head and caught sound of Taima calling out to them. Grinning, the white and black swirled male glanced towards his daughter. "Come on, love. Let's surprise mommy!"
Taking up the fawn in mouth, Damu began padding towards the mouth of the den. Emerald eyes narrowed to where the mossy-black female resided and, chuckling low though muffled with his maw occupied, the male laid down the deer in front of her.
"Morning, Taima." He nuzzled with a rumble emitting from his chest. Manuvering his head forwards and pressing his nose against hers, he smiled. "How are you?" DragonsRage24 Kaede smiled and pounced after Damu's tail as he walked forward, alas she still couldn't grab onto his tail...tricky little thing. Her tail wagging kaede still didn't understand why Taima had to eat so much recently. And Damu seemed to try and get off the subject.
"Mommy!" Kaede squeaked as she ran forward adn nuzzled her and smiled, "Hows mommy?" Kaede asked innocently when she noticed something...Taima seemed bigger around her tummy.
So why did she have to eat more?
It seemed like Taima was more then satisfied with food, why did she need more? "Daddy see what you did!" Kaede spoke outwardly, referring to Taima as she scooted over and poked at Taima's tummy with her nose. Not actually realizing in reality what Damu had EXACTLY done, "You gave mommy too much food already!" Tamiko-chan Taima smiled as her mate and her daughter came closer. She first nuzzled her mate, grumbling happily as she did so. "I'm a bit tired," she replied softly, looking at her daughter as she poked her bulging belly. Folding her ears back slightly, she hoped that the puppies inside of her wouldn't do anything. But it seemed her prayer wasn't answered or was simply ignored, for she felt the little beings inside of her move about and kick in response to the poke from Kaede.
Wincing slightly, the mother-to-be tried to shake it off by laughing nervously.
"Nono, it's alright Kaede. Daddy is only doing what I ask. I've just been really hungry lately, and that's why I'm a little bigger," she lied, feeling bad as she did so. But she couldn't tell the truth, that Damu had gotten her pregnant! Her daughter was still too young to learn such things.
Glancing at her mate, she made a sort of look that cried for help. How could they tell Kaede that she was getting brothers and sisters without actually telling her how it happened? RonsoStryder Chuckling softly as he delicately whisped his muzzle about her, the white and black swirled male smiled warmly. "But food will make you feel a bit more relaxed then, hm?"
His brows quirked with a meager perplexion as he watched Kaede poke and investigate Taima's large belly. He couldn't help but heistate and stifle a laugh as the pup seemed to become more and more curious, somewhat hot on the trail in attempting to discover what exactly was going on and the logic behind why Damu was constantly bringing his loving mate more food than either any of the three of them could even stomach in one sitting.
Glancing over as Taima peered up towards him with those big, softened green orbs, Damu knew that somehow and about now was the time to,hopefully, peacefully explain the logic behind the mass quantities of food and why Taima's belly was- well, growing larger.
Biting his lower lip as a soft sigh escaped from his maw, Damu flickered his ears as he put a paw around his daughter, Kaede.
"Kaede," he softly spoke with a gentle and soothing tone. "I think it's time we let you in on a little secret; a wonderful and special secret that we've been waiting to tell you."
Still harboring a warm, broad smile, Damu nuzzled her gently.
"Do you want to know the secret?" DragonsRage24 Kaede's eyes seemed to light up and her ears flicked to the side for a moment, "A secret?" her little tail wagged behind her and she apwed at the ground, "Whats the secret..."
Her mind began racing with ideas of what the secret could be...maybe a secret code...or, a secret hunting thingy....or maybe...
"Daddy, are you going to tell me how mommy ate the bunny?" she asked seriously, almost giggling. She pointed to Taima's belly, "It moved when I poked it...how did you get mommy to eat a bunny WHOLE and still alive...I think its upset adn sad its stuck in mommy's tummy daddy..." she said seriously.
Oh the wonders of pups and their minds... Tamiko-chan Taima couldn't do much but lay there and have this nevous smile on her face. She knew that she and her mate had to tell Kaede what was happening to her mother, but she didn't know how to to so without telling her how it happened. Kaede would surely ask a bunch of questions. She was, after all, a curious little pup.
Yet when her daughter asked her how she managed to eat a live bunny whole, Tai couldn't help but giggle slightly and shake her head. "Darling, I didn't eat a live bunny. The movement is..."
She stopped mid-sentence, not really knowing what to say after that. At a loss, she glanced over towards Damu. Maybe he had an idea of how to handle this? RonsoStryder The white and black male seemed to blink several times while a broad, unbearable grin swept across his maw. A bunny? Oh my, well this was going to be a bit of a challenge explaining the concept of bearing puppies to the ever curious, wonderous pup. Chuckling softly, Damu shook his head.
"Love, mommy didn't eat a live bunny like she said," he remarked as he sat upon his haunches and thumped his tail behind him in a casual, nonchalant manner. Glancing towards his mate, the male sheepishly smiled as he peered down towards the inquisitive Kaede.
"You see, when a mommy and daddy love each other, their love is what creates a baby wolf. And, right now, there are baby wolves that are inside mommy that will soon be your brothers and sisters."
For now, Damu could only bite his lower lip and let his calm, emerald orbs settle upon the black and red hued pup as he silently prayed that somehow, by miracle or simple comprehension, Kaede would understand this. He never signed up to be the mediator and explain where baby wolves came from and- who signed him up?
Damu certainly never signed up for this job.
Althought Taima was in no state to really put forth the energy, the white and black swirled male had no choice.
He'd do it.
"Do you understand, Kaede?" DragonsRage24 Kaede's ears twitched to teh side as she tried to understand what Damu how said...but how did love make a baby wolf? That she didn't understand, and Taima was going to have baby wolves, Kaede's ears fell back a little, she thought that they loved her...why did they need baby wolves if they loved her?
"But daddy...I thought love was a thing you feel, so how can an emotion thingy you feel make baby wolves, and then put them in mommy's tummy? If you and mommy made baby wolves, why did they need to be put in her tummy?" now she was even more confused.
If love made baby wolves, why put them in Taima's tummy where it'd be dark, why not just have them run around as soon as possible? "Did you and mommy put me in mommy's tummy before?" she asked curiously. But if they did...where were her brothers and sisters from when she was born...this whole love thing was confusing her so much.
Kaede still didn't understand why Damu and Taima needed more baby wolves...didn't they love her enough? Wasn't she enough for them...maybe...maybe they didn't love her anymore.
At that thought her ears fell totally flat against her skull and a slight whimper escaped her throat,"Do mommy and daddy not love me anymore?" Tamiko-chan Taima merely nodded when her white and black mate explained to Kaede that there were puppies inside of her belly, and not a live rabbit. Yet their daughter didn't seem to understand it too well, and she found her ears falling back. She was quite nervous about this whole thing. She didn't want to upset Kaede or anything, but she didn't know exactly what to do.
"It's very complicated, Kaede," she said softly, looking down at her daughter. "You'll learn the details when you are older. But for now, just know that you are getting baby brothers and sisters, yeah?" Hopefully that would be enough to curb her curiousity. Yet then the little female asked if she had been put in Tai's belly before. Finding no other way, she simply nodded slowly.
"Yes, you were in my belly. And sometimes mommies and daddies have random numbers of puppies. Sometimes they have one, sometimes six or seven! That's the only reason you were born alone. It just makes you special." Yes, special, that was the word, right? "But Daddy and I thought that you'd like to have someone to play with, and that's why we made more puppies... so that you could be happy."
Okay, now she was merely rambling and confusing herself. Sighing, she shook her head then rested it on her paws. This wasn't going too well. RonsoStryder Damu's ears flickered as his tail swayed behind him, paws shifting as he found the situation to be a bit- well, tumultious in a sense. Kaede seemed to be finding it hard to understand why he and Taima wanted more puppies. It wasn't because they were disatisfied with the small female. Oh no! How could they be! It was more that the couple also wanted to have more puppies and, as a benifit, more siblings that Kaede could play with and interact with.
The present situation made him tense and feel uncomfortable. Like Taima, Damu did not want Kaede to feel abandoned or unloved. He just wanted her to understand that there were going to be more members of the family and that, no matter what, they would still lover her.
Leaning over, the white and black male nuzzled Kaede with upmost tenderness as he rumbled softly, a soothing sound as he licked her.
"No matter what happens Kaede, mommy and daddy will always love you and nothing will ever change that. You'll still be our little girl," he commented with a small chuckle as he rustled his muzzle against her and blew softly upon her in a tickling motion.
Lifting up his head as he peered towards his mate, Damu smiled warmly towars Taima as he nodded his head. He only hoped the words he spoke would ring true within the ears of the pup but, thought for now it seemed rather uncertain, the white and black swilred male could only hope that Kaede would not hate them.
Peering back towards their daughter, he smiled. "Do you want to feel your brothers and sisters move?" Padding slowly over towards his resting mate, Damu placed his nose upon his mates belly and glanced towards Kaede.
"It's like saying "Hello" but in a different way. It lets them know that you're out here, waiting for them or, in your case, that you're their older sister." DragonsRage24 Kaede's mind was racing with questions and images and depictions of things that might have happened, seeing Damu putting Kaede in Taima's tummy made her laugh in her mind, but she didn't openly express it.
They said she'd know when she was older...did everyone have that said to them? Maybe they were just trying to protect her...but from what exactly Kaede did not know or understand. Her mind was too young and too fragile, she didn't know this, but it was obvious Damu and Taima did.
Kaede looked up and watched Damu walk over to Taima, her mother...such a pretty image in her vision, mommy and daddy together...but soon there would be more...she sighed. Perhaps it was for the best, so she wasn't alone...she just hoped they would still love her, and not kick her to the side when her new siblings arrived.
When Damu said she'd always be their little girl, an innocent and sad expression was in her eyes, "Promise?" she squeaked in a whisper. The last thing she wanted was to be kicked to the curb, she loved her daddy adn mommy so much, and wanted to stay with them forever.
She truly loved them...
They were her parents...
Kaede padded over to Taima and nuzzled her and licked her on the cheek and smiled, tail wagging slightly now, "Don't worry mommy...I'll take care of you AND be a big sister," then she turned to Damu and smiled, "And I'll be strong like you daddy..."
Then Kaede poked at Taima's tummy gently with her nose, feeling something kick back and blinked and smiled. She was going to be a big sister.
She just hoped the pups would like her...
Turning around and laying down next to Taima Kaede yawned and snuggled up against her, laying her head on one of Taima's forelegs and snuggled up close. She closed her eyes and wrapped her tiny tail around Damu's closest paw to her and smiled, sleep slowly catching her.
This was her mommy, This was her daddy,
This, was Kaede's family. Tamiko-chan Taima nodded in agreement with what her mate said. They would indeed always love their first daughter, no matter what happened. Even when the new puppies arrived, they would never forget Kaede or neglect her. That was simply unthinkable in her mind. Adopted or not, Kaede was their daughter and she always would be.
"It's just like Daddy says, Kaede. We will always love you, no matter what. You are our daughter, and we promise to always keep you close to our hearts." She smiled and nuzzled the little female, running her tongue over the small head affectionately.
Then, when their daughter talked about taking care of her mother and being strong like her dad, Tai couldn't help but let a huge grin overcome her face. "Alright then," she said, poking Kaede slightly with her soft nose. "I'm counting on you to be strong and take care of me, okay?" She grumbled like Damu, purring almost, as she thumped her tail against the ground and nuzzled Kaede once more.
Green orbs then watched as the little pup settled in next to her parents and, through some way or another, touched and connected with the two adults. Smiling softly, Taima licked the top of Kaede's small head.
"Sweet dreams."
With that, the mother-to-be rested her head next to Kaede's and also allowed sleep to overcome her. And so she slept, cuddled up next to her small but wonderful family. RonsoStryder Chucking softly as his softened, emerald eyes settled upon his daughter, Damu tender nuzzed against her and rumbled with a soothing manner. "I promise," he softly whispered as he laid a wet kiss upon her cheek.
As Kaede scampered over towards Taima, the white and black swirled male smiled warmly as he followed behind her, tail swaying casually. THe thought that, soon, he and Taima were going to have a larger family was exhilerating and still shocking. They had tried for so long and, finally, they were going to be proud parents of a expanded family.
Padding back behind Taima, he nuzzled her with affection as his eyes drew towards her own orbs of priceless green. But as Kaede spoke up, he diverted his attention towards her and grinned. "You're already strong like me, Kaede. You'll just become stronger."
Shifting back up upon all fours as their daughter nuzzled against his mate, Damu slumped down upon his stomach as his body and the body of his mate made a circle around the black and red hued female. With his forepaw almost wrapped around by the pups small tail, Damu smiled warmly as he glimpsed towards Taima.
Either it was the events of the day or the tiredness trailing towards one another, both Kaede and Taima were always taken captive within sleep. But as a yawn escaped from his maw, Damu nestled his head close against Taimas' and Kaedes and closed his eyes.
"'Night," he yawned again as he too fell asleep huddled and snuggled with his family.

.::.It's Time: Damu/Taima/Kaede.::. Tamiko-chan Taima awoke with a sudden start. She was at the back of the den while her mate was at the front, sleeping yet still guarding his family. Their daugther wasn't too far away from where she lay. All of this she noticed within a second, but afterwards she noticed something more important and urgent: her stomach was tight and the puppies inside of her were moving restlessly, more than usual. In an instant she knew what was happening.
"Damu!" she whispered loudly, raising to her paws despite the extreme pain that was coursing through her body.
"Damu... Damu, I think it's time!" she called, whimpering and whining slightly as she cirled around in a frenzy of pain. Her ears lay flat against her skull as she tucked her tail slightly. Yes, it was definitely time. The pain was becoming more unbearable and her contractions were growing ever larger.
Falling over onto her side, she tried to crawl a little closer to her mate. "Damu! Get Kaede out of the den. I don't want her to see it." It simply wouldn't do to have the little female witness something such as this so early in life. She'd learn soon enough, but now was too soon.
Whimpering again, Tai positioned herself so that her back was to the entrance. Oh yeah, these puppies were definitely ready to come out. RonsoStryder The mass of white and black swirls laid at the foot of the den entrance as he slept somewhat restlessly, fading in and out of sleep. Lately Taima had become resteless and her appitite voracious as the day was drawing nearer. Such hunger even drove the male out in the middle of the night to lurk within the shadows and hunt whatever suitable game he could successfully hunt or, in some circumstances, plunder. His black ears flickered, perking upwards as he lifted his head upwards.
Was that Taima calling him?
As his eyes fluttered open, Damu glanced towards the back of the cave as he staggered onto all fours. "Time...What time is it?" He mumbled with little recognition for even what time of day it was or what exactly was happening. But before he could even bear to ponder what he had said, his eyes shot fully open as his maw pratically dropped. "It's time? IT'S TIME!"
Just as his mossy and black hued mate fell over upon her side, the white and black swirled male rushed over to her and began licking her face with kisses and nuzzled her. "Just stay still, love! Just stay still!"
His mind was whirling in countless thoughts, unable to comprehend anything else except that he and his mate were soon to be parents! Though he was not experienced in this situation, nature began to take it's roll and set the male straight.
"I'll take care of her but Taima...just stay put, 'kay love?" Turning around, Damu picked up the female by scruff with a tender manner and made haste to put her outside by the den. He too believed that Kaede, his daughter, was too young to witness the birthing of pups but, like Taima knew, she'd learn one day and even experience it herself.
Placing the pup on the ground, Damu licked her and nuzzled her with affection. "Kaede," he whispered in a soothing tone as the tail behind him wag a mile a minute, "mommy's going to have the puppies! Just stay outside and I'll come get you when we're ready alright?" DragonsRage24 Kaede was sound asleep, dreaming of becoming stronger like Damu, having Taima and Damu look at her with pride and love all the time. She rolled over, ears flickering to the side, hearing someone talking, who was talking? Were they talking to her?
Suddenly Kaede felt herself being picked up and rushed outside, her eyes opened as she was placed on the ground. Damu setting her just outside the den's entrance. Kaede tried to tell him she wanted to help Taima, she wanted to help and be with her mommy...but she didn't understand why Taima and Damu wanted her outside. She curled her tail around herself and nodded to Damu, "Yes daddy...take care of mommy..."
Kaede still wanted to do something to help.
It was hot outside today, humid and sticky, Kaede's fur stuck to her and made her fidget while she sat. "Will mommy be even more hot then me?" she wondered, not exactly understanding how Taima would 'give' puppies....how would they get out of Taima's tummy?
She was so confused but waited patiently at the den's entrance, tail curled around her she stayed as quiet as possible, so that her mommy could be comfortable. Tamiko-chan Once Kaede was taken outside by Damu, the mother-to-be felt her contractions worsen. They were growing larger and larger, and that was when she knew that the time was most certainly here.
"D-Damu!" she whined, raising to her paws and circling around again. Her stomach and the puppies inside of it were quite restless, making Tai anxious and fidgety. Settling back down again for just a second, she glanced up at her mate. "They're coming!" she smiled, despite all the pain that plagued her body at the time. Yet she was soon back up on her paws, for she felt something pressing and urgent inside of her. The first one was coming!!
Whining again, she circled around once more before settling down awkwardly. A few seconds later and a small head could be seen under her tail. Lifting up her floofy bush, she craned her neck around to peer and sniff at the little thing. But pretty soon she was circling again as the contractions sent waves of pain through her body. Yet they weren't in vain as, twenty seconds later, a small body lay wriggling on the floor.

Wagging her tail, Taima whirled around and lowered her head to nuzzle and lick the little pup to stimulate its breathing. Once the pup was all clean, she smiled and finally got a good glimpse of it. It was white, with swirls like its father. It was a boy, too. Her first son! Still wagging her tail, she smiled and glanced up towards her mate. "It's a boy!" she said excitedly, afterwards picking up the small boy gently by the scruff and placing him next to her belly so that he could nurse.
She had a chance to clean her son a little bit more and get a short rest before the next pup began to push its way out a few minutes later. This time, though, she managed to keep herself laying down.
This one came out much like the first: out in nearly no time at all and with no problems. Lifting her tail, the moss-colored female craned her neck delicately around to peer at the new life laying on the ground, wriggling and whining loudly. This one was strong, she could tell. Smiling nearly from ear to ear, she cleaned this one off then picked it up and placed it next to its brother. There was a great contrast in pelts when she got a good look at the newest pup. This one was gray and black, with a little bit of white and crazy neck fur like Damu. This one was a female. Her first daughter of the litter!

Placing the dark pup next to her belly, she then grinned and glanced up towards the father. "A girl. Strong, too," she said, feeling proud that she had produced such a pup.
The next pup came much sooner after its sibling than the second, for, before the mother even had a chance to lick her daughter once, she felt contractions and more urgent pressings from inside. Within moments there was another squirming pup beneath her tail. Surprised that it had gotten out that fast, it took her a moment before she finally lift her tail and clean off her new offspring. Once she had licked it cleaned, she picked it up and brought it around by its siblings so that she could get a good look at it.
This one was dark like its sister, but it also had a bit of that mossy color of its mother and some swirls as well. It was like the perfect combinations of its parents. Another thing she noticed when she was looking it over was that it was quite spunky, and it was a male too.

Smiling to herself, she nudged it closer to her belly so that he, too, could nurse like his brother and sister. Once all three of her puppies were settled in, she sighed happily and rested her head on the floor of the den. The contractions had subsided and she felt that she was done. So she merely smiled at Damu as their offspring suckled down their first meal.
Minutes passed and she truly felt like she was finished. Three gorgeous puppies!
"Damu.. look at them. They are so beau--" She was suddenly cut off by another contraction. She whined and spazzed a little, causing a bit of a disturbance with the already-born puppies. They all squealed and scrambled over each other, searching for their mother's milk. Attempting to recover, Tai settled back down nervously, afterwards pushing her children towards her belly. Once they were suckling again, she craned her neck to peer under her tail. Underneath was another pup!!

Whining, as if in apology, she licked this one just like she had all of its siblings. She then picked it up gently and brought it next to its siblings so that she could look over this one as well. The first thing the mother noticed was that this one was different from its siblings; it had a sort of brownish color to it, a color not found in the other puppies. Sniffing and licking at the youngest, Tai noticed that it was a female. That made two boys and two girls.
Feeling that this time there were definitely no more puppies coming out, Taima settled back down on her side while the pups fed on warm milk. Smiling to her mate, she whispered softly, "You can bring Kaede in now."
She was simply so proud as she lay there, watching her puppies feed against her belly and squeal at each other. It made her so delighted to know that she and her mate had managed to produce such fine and healthy puppies after all those failed attempts. At first she had thought that maybe there was something wrong with her, that she couldn't have puppies. But now...
She had no doubts and no regrets. RonsoStryder Smiling warmly, Damu nuzzled her as a low rumble escaped from deep within his chest. "I will, love."
Before he could utter another word to his sweet daughter, Kaede, Damu's ears pricked forwards as he shot back his attention towards his mate. His emerald orbs widened as he wasted no time in lunging back on his feet and hastened to her side once again. Nuzzling her as she spoke again, a wide, unbearable grin overtook his maw.
"They're coming?...THEY'RE COMING!" He yipped with thrill as he slid his forepaws outwards, his black ringed tail wagging at a fastidious pace. Furrowing his brows with confusion and concern as the joy of emotions overtook his whole composure, Damu settled himself down before her and waited anxiously.
What was that?
A head?
As Taima swayed her black and mossy tail out of the way, Damu wuffed and let a yip escape from his maw as the first of the pups were born. Slinking low on his stomach, the white and black swirled male approached the first pup with awe and amazement. It was a boy! He had a son!
"A son! I have a son!" He yipped with a small solacing howl that drawled out of his maw.
But what was this?
With no problem whatsoever, another pup was concieved. This time, it was a female whose pelt was grey and beheld black markings that had yet to be more distinct.
A daughter!
Could this be any better?
But even before he could contemplate his new daughter, Damu eyes widened as the next puppy was born. Could it be? Yes! It was! Another male! Puffing his chest out slightly as he grinned wide from ear to ear, the white and black male kissed his mate and nuzzled her as it seemed that the birthing was over.
"You're amazing, Taima! I-" the male nearly jumped as his mate began another contration. With eyes narrowing and widened with disbelief, Damu wuffed low as all the puppies were brought together. Four beautiful and healthy pups! Two boys and two girls! It was all too surreal!
With no more puppies left to concieve and the birthing of their new family members over, Damu chuckled softly as he licked her nose. "Of course, Taima."
Padding slowly towards the cave entrance, Damu kept his unbearable grin upon his maw as he panted excitedly and nipped playfully at Kaedes ear. "You can see mom and your new brothers and sisters now, Kaede." Smiling warmly, Damu walked a bit further outside and laughed softly. Glancing around and back towards his mate and daughter, the white and black swirled male threw up his head and howled a long, soulful song.
"I'M A FATHER!" DragonsRage24 Kaede waited patiently outside, thumping her tiny tail on the ground every few minutes out of boredom and curiousity. Damu ahd already gone back inside and Kaede was alone outside, she could hear talking and happiness in voices which made her tail wag a bit more. Then Damu, ehr daddy, came outside and nuzzled her and she giggled and pawed at his face playfully. She could go see Taima now? Yay! All was good in teh world again!
As she bounded towards the entrance for the den she heard Damu say outwardly in a howl that he was a father...but wasn't he one already with her? Or did he do that too when she was born, and would do it everytime? This she wondered, but was no certain of, not at all.
Padding inside Kaede smiled and nuzzled Taima and licked her cheek and smiled and wagged her tail. "Mommy okay?" she asked, Taima looked tired, but then Kaede's attention was caught by four balls of fur that were wriggling beside Taima, her mommy...those were her brothers and sisters? ...They looked just like little balls of fuzz and nothing more...this was interesting.
Taking a few steps closer to them Kaede smiled and noted that each had a similarity to mom and dad...but none had orange on them like Kaede did...well, one was brownish orange kind of sort of...close enough. Nothing to worry about...right?
She watched as her new siblings squeaked and wriggled a little gray one squeaking loudly, Kaede thought it was yelling at her so she took a few steps back and went to sit by Taima's head...kind of act like a little pillow, mom looked tired to Kaede. And Kaede wanted to be there for her always. "I love you mommy," she spoke quietly and nuzzled her.
Kaede was now a big sister. She just hoped with these new balls of fuzz, mommy and daddy wouldn't forget about her. Tamiko-chan Taima lay still, her eyes closed, as the puppies nursed and her mate went outside to talk with Kaede. She was tired after the birth, but the excitement of her new and extended family won over sleep and kept her awake, only resting. When her oldest daughter came in from outside, however, she opened her eyes and thumped her tail in a greeting.
"Yes, I'm fine, Kaede," she said softly, smiling as she was nuzzled by the little female. When her attention was caught by her little siblings, the mother couldn't help but smile. They were only little fluff balls now, but she knew they'd grow quickly and would soon be playing with their big sister.
"These are your brothers and sisters," she said, speaking the obvious. "I think they are going to be quite the pawful, so I'm going to need you to help me keep them in line, eh?" She grinned, nudging Kaede's side then licking and grooming her fur delicately. The puppies at her belly squealed at each other and she stopped momentarily to separate them. Yep, they'd be a handful alright.
Turning her attention back to Kaede, she smiled again. "I love you too, my daughter."
The moss-colored female then rested her head on the ground next to Kaede, sighing happily and finally allowing her exhaustion to catch up with her. With one great yawn and another smile to Kaede, she was soon fast asleep. RonsoStryder With his heart racing and his tongue merrily lolling out of his mouth in an exhuberant pant, the white and blacks swirled male, now a father of four additions to the family, grinned as he padded back inside the den. He had solaced his call throughout the pack lands and, to those who chose to partake in the festivities, were welcomed to come and sneak a look at the new additions to the pack.
Softened, emerald eyes drifted towards Taima whose energy had been counjured and spent by birthing the pups and towards Kaede who was nestled just aside her head. Stiff-leggedly, the male crept closer as his eyes mulled over the four sleeping pups who were nestled close against their mothers stomach.
Chuckling to himself softly as he looked upon the two boys of the family, Damu let a small smirk play across his maw as he sunk down to his stomach and settled in a slight circle around the pups.
"Sleep well, little ones," he whispered with a soothing tone as he kept awake, marveling at his expanded family with a wide spread grin.
"Sleep well."

.::.Alliance: Tasubaa/Maverick.::. RonsoStryder A vagabond.
A wayward soul.
A lone wolf.
Tasu ambled and padded through the woods mindlessly, letting his feet drag him to an unknown destination. Thoughs continued to bombard his every train of thought as it left him silently pondering his losses. Where had everyone gone? The last time he had seen them was- well, too long ago to even remember. But the one thing he could never forget was when Valen took away his sight from his left eye.
That twisted, backstabbing wolf!
"He'll pay," the fiery male muttered as he pressed onwards.
traversing upon a somewhat- well trodded pathway. Weaving and perusing through the forest, Tasu shook his head and snorted.
"I think I'm going around in circles," he grumbled softly as he tilted his head slightly. Slowing down as he hadn't a clue in the world, he stumbled towards a small clearing and settled down on his haunches.
Tasu wasn't really upset, he was- well, confused or just too perplexed to even search around for any other wolf or creature that could have been lurking about. Though at times his cold nature could have gotten the best of him, Tasubaa still remained solitary and kept to himself. He didn't have many friends nor a companion but, for now, he was best on his own. But that's who Tasu was; he was, simply, a wolf who often rolled with the punches.
Slinking down onto his stomach, he flickered his metal ridden ears and curled his tail around him. "Well," he mused as he snorted a sharp breath, "I guess I'll just rest here for now." Closing his eyes as he began basking underneath the sun, Tasubaa let his heavy eyelids fall.
A wandering wolf needed his sleep and now was the perfect time. Sika-chan A long, powerful howl filled the silence then. It was was full of pride and sureness of oneself. If a howl could be described as such. The owner of this howl was a young wolf. His eyes were wild with excitement as he dropped his head from his powerful howl. He was proud of his new voice, and was proud of his new form. He continued to walk along the trodded path in the forest, sniffing here and there for other wolves. The main goal of this journey was to find others that were loaners, wandering for no particular reason at all. He had ideas of a pack, and hoped for some "subjects." Maverick smiled as he thought about the idea of becoming an Alpha like his father. It wasn't something being forced upon him, he merely wished to follow his father's paw prints. As the young wolf mussed over his thoughts he barely took notice of the older wolf laying on the ground. He stopped then, taking in the other wolf carefully. With a quick gaze of his surroundings he took the other wolf to be alone, much like himself. Here was his chance to find someone. He walked upto the other wolf with a sureness to his step, his tail held high, and a friendly smile across his muzzle. He ment friendly business and he hoped thats what he looked like. " Why hello there!" RonsoStryder Just as Tasu was about to succumb to sleeps binding grips, a howl solaced from the silence and jostled the older male. As his metal cladded ears flickered and his tapered, spikey hair shifted along with his head, Tasubaa gritted his teeth.
"Now what?" He growled irritatedly as he slumped onto his side and let a deep sigh escape from his maw. Couldn't a wolf sleep anymore? Apparently not.
Shifting upwards back onto all fours, the fiery male shook his head. It was sad really; the last time he had gotten a well rested sleep was back in his pack days but, now, it seemed that the sensation of one feeling rejuvinated and rested was only a fleeting recollection. As his feathers stayed positioned within his messy, spikey hair, Tasubaa blinked his eyes several times.
What was this? Another scent? But not just any scent.
A wolf scent.
Great. What did another wolf want with him? To chase him away? Or, maybe, Valen's recruits were finally on his trail again and were coming after him to finish off what was left of him. But what more did they want? His spirits were shattered and the love of his life didn't even recognize that he loved her! Maybe he should just give up now or-
"I'm not backing down," the older male pushed himself into thinking as he slowly pivoted around. But before he could take another step, an unfamiliar-oddly cheerful voice called to him. Gritting his teeth and finding it a futile cause to up and run, Tasubaa slowly turned around.
"Afternoon," the fiery male responded as his sole, good eye trailed up to those of the black and purple hued wolf before him. "What brings you all the way to the outskirts of the woods?" Sika-chan Maverick chuckled to himself. He was really over his head with this one. The older wolf looked like he rolled around in bear traps for fun. But he would continue on and if things looked bad, he would turn tail and move on. " I was about to ask you a similar question." Maverick's gaze trailed over the older wolve's body. He looked strong, and yet Maverick could see a tiredness in the older wolf. He must not have rested recently. " I am merely looking for other wolves, much like yourself really. Don't worry I mean you no harm," he added quickly. " Are you by yourself out here? FOr a wolf my age I guess it is normal but..." Maverick let his words trail off as he continued to take in the other wolf. RonsoStryder His good, sightful eye drifted across the young male with a somewhat hesitant motion. Why would an adolescent be looking for other males? But it didn't take him too long to figure out what the young wolf was striving to reach out of the encounter. A small, smirk trailed across his maw as his tail flicked behind him, ears pricking forward as he began padding several steps around the younger male.
Oh, Tasubaa knew all too well what the younger male was seeking but, for the moment, he'd try to see just how desperate or just how interesting his ideas sounded.
"I'll answer your question in two parts," he remarked as he slowly padded around the younger male, his keen eye continuing to inspect him. "First, my name is Tasubaa; Vagabond and wanderer. Why might you ask? Because my last Alpha sought my life and tried to assasinate me because he was power hungry and his heart was taken by the darkness of lust and greed." As his shoulders slumped slightly, the fiery male glanced aside and chuckled with a deep rumble.
"You're looking to make a pack, aren't you?" He commented as he took several steps to the side and slid his forepaws out, stretching his tired back and legs from the aches and remnant pains. "And you're seeking my aid in forming a pack, correct?"
Rising upwards as a yawn escaped from him, Tasubaa looked towards the adolescent with a rather amused expression.
"Forget it." He spat with an acid tone. "The only way I'd EVER join another pack is if it was one I was willing to die for and know that I would never be betrayed again. But, go on, tell me why I should help you establish this new pack and why I should even trust you."
Winding around as his brows furrowed, narrowing upon the wolf before him, Tasubaa waited.
((He's so stubborn at first but you'll learn to love him xD;; Sika-chan Maverick stood his ground as the older wolf circled him. He knew he was being inspected and knew that now was his time to shine. But as the older wolf continued to interrogate him, the younger wolf's brow furrowed in concern and anger. He was not about to back down for this older wolf. If he couldn't even get this one to even consider joining him, then he might aswell forget his entire mission. With his smirk smeared across his jaw he began. " Whether you join my pack is entirely up to you. I am merely searching for others who are alone. I am tired of hearing about these other packs leaders who toss their own aside as if they were a discarded piece of meat. " A growl escaped his throat at the thought. His smirk had now turned into a frown as he spoke of what bothered him most, and his voice had picked up a deeper tone. " Betrayal is something unforgiveable, and it scars those who have been, mentally and physically. I want to bring those together into a new pack so that I can prove to them that not every leader is like that, and that they can actually put their trust in others." Maverick turned his wild, brown eyes towards the older wolf, taking him in once again. Maverick's brow furrowed again, for he did not think he explained himself well enough and had lost his chance at helping this other wolf. With a sigh he added, " I'm tired of seeing others waste away because all they can think of is whether or not they will wake up after resting alone. " (( naw dont worry, maverick's pretty stubborn lol )) RonsoStryder Interesting.
So this adolescent views were much clearere than he thought. A rather pleased and intrigued smile curled upon the fiery wolfs maw as he listened, nodding his head as his tail thumped upon the ground in a casual and nonchalant manner. Maybe he'd better give the male a chance and, besides, if he didn't like the structure of the pack he could always throw defiance and up and run somewhere else.
But before Tasubaa could even comitt, he still had several questions that were perplexing and needed answering. A bit of ressurance if you will.
"Let's dig a bit deeper into this: I'm interested but you'll need to convince me, convict me that this is the sole pack I should pledge alligeance to and you'll have my word on making this pack much more than a dream; I'll be certain to help you make it into a tangible reality," he smirked as his tail wrapped around his body.
"What, as an Alpha, are you striving to find or create? Every pack has a reason, every leader has a "destiny" or a calling. But what do you want to find or, simply speaking, what are you searching for?"
An intellect and a true thinker, Tasubaa wasn't going to let the flowered words of the adolescent mindlessly sway him away just yet. He wanted to know why he was building a pack and for what purpose? Was there something this wolf was striving to fulfill or make avalialbe for others?
"Finally," he spoke with a slightly mild-somewhat gruff tone. "What are your punishment to those who uprise, mutiny and shed blood within a pack? A good Alpha knows how to deal with these occurances and if I put my life out for you and your pack I just need to know that there are ways to deal with those who harbor a taste for blood."
((Such a thinker he is...or paranoid! *snugs Tasu* <3)) Sika-chan Maverick let out a soft sigh, a weight being lifted from his mind. Th eother wolf was interested, check one off the list. Now all these questions? He frowned inwardly but kept his outward structure strong, he was striving to impress. " I am trying to create a stable home for those who have otherwise lost hope, or hope to help as I am trying to help. I also hope to build a stable pack, much like my father has. " He frowned slightly as he said this, but he ment to be truthful. He just hoped that it didn't found too much like "daddy's boy." Maverick played with the idea of punishment. He had thought of it before, but not to the degree of actually having to do it. Of course he figured that there would be some who would rise up against him in disagreement, but he had foolishly been hoping that it would never come to that. A dark look crossed over his eyes as he began to plan it out. " Those who chose to rise up against our pack in mutiny will be severly punished. It is one thing for a leader to betray those who trust him, but it is another thing for one to betray their leader who strives to protect them." He paused, pondering the actual punishment in store fo rthose who defied his pack. " Punishment will vary, but those who deem it nessecary to bring bloodshed to my pack will get it in return, and be bannished from our group. If they think they can return after such an act, then I will deal with them myself, " he growled softly afterwards. Maverick frowned again for he grew angry thinking of bloodshed and mutiny. Such wolves should be killed upon sight. RonsoStryder The son of an Alpha.
Could this be even more appealing? Perhaps.
As his metal ears flickered, Tasubaa grinned as he arose to all fours and swaggered his tail behind him. Such ideas and concepts seemed fitting to what he was striving for and, truthfully, the cold-hearted wolf was rather liking the sound of this pack.
"A home for those who have been abandoned, banished and forgotten then?" His brows furrowed with thought, pursing his lips as he nodded his head. "I honor those who think of others before themselves, boy," he commented as he began packing closer. "I like that."
"And mutiny?" Tasubaa began as he looked towards the black and purple male with a mischievious gleam settling within his sole eye. "Just remember that those you banish will always seek for your blood in turn but, with those who stand with you, that's likely to happen."
Stepping closer as he stood within a foot in front of the male, Tasubaa let a smirk cross upon his maw. "But with a fallen warrior such as myself, I doubt anyone could get through me to you, my Alpha."
Raising his tail high and restating his posture, Tasubaa let a suttle, friendlsy smile cross upon his maw.
"I'll join your pack but, first, tell me your name." Sika-chan Maverick could hardly contain his excitement, with only a proud smile showing upon his muzzle. He had his first pack member, and by the looks of it, his right hand. " I am Maverick. " He bowed his head slightly, but stood strong. " I am glad you are willing and loyal. But of course I wish to know your own name aswell before we move on." RonsoStryder The fiery wolf let a widespread grin stretch far across his muzzle as his tail miraged like that of kindling flames swayed behind him in a nonchalant and rather pleased manner. There was something about Maverick, something that Tasu conveyed as trust and honor. Though, as he mentioned, he was the son of an Alpha, the older male could distinguish that the adolescent was searching for something much more than power; hope, was it? Or perhaps a destiny that would help pave the way for the vagabonds and exhiled wolves that aimlessly wandered within the woods and far regions.
His brows furrowed slightly as his tongue let the words slide off with an interesting sensation. "Maverick," he mused as he chuckled deeply, "it's an honor."
"My name? Those that hate me referr to me as "Red" but those who I give my life in service and protection to know me as Tasubaa." Lowering his head as he closed his eye, the fiery wolf let his tapered and spiked hair fall down towards his eyes while his feathers only shifted slightly.
Rising upwards as he took a step forwards, his engraved bands jostling above his paws, Tasubaa stood aside Maverick with a suttle smile.
"Where to now?" Sika-chan Maverick smiled proudly and nodded. " As is an honour for me, Tasubaa." Maverick grinned a toothy grin as he turned to continue on the trail he had been following before he had met Tasubaa. " Well I was thinking of continuing on my search for others," he said as he walked, his tail swaying side to side behind him. " But we'll see how well that works out." RonsoStryder As his metal ridden ears flickered slightly, shifting as he began treading aside Maverick, Tasu's left eye wandered towards his Alpha as a slight perplexion of thought lingered about.
A search for others?
Where could they come across the down trodde, the abandoned and the hopeless?
These days the woods seem riddled with those who wandered alone, discarded by their packs and left to rot into nothingness. They were condemned to starvation and a likely survival without being within the ranks of a pack and a close knit family that offered assitance and protection. The mere thought of wolves he had come across that were wire-thin and whose ribs poked out from under their pelts only made his fur bristle and his teeth clench with anger.
Why was the esteem and honor of packlife being discarded for a brutal and merciless lifestyle?
Tasubaa nodded his head and tilted it slightly. "It's not too hard to come across wolves whose dreams and lives have been shattered," he spoke with a more relaxed tone, the slightly trace of his gruff tone still hinting in his voice, "but if you know where to look then it won't take long to establish a pack." Sika-chan Maverick gazed back at Tasubaa, nodding his head as he took in what the other had said. " I have come across several in my past, even as a pup I have met those who have no pack. " His memories flashed back to a tawny wolf with strange orange colouring, but who was he to call strangely coloured? He chuckled softly at the thought, thinking himself to be a hypocrite. " Well let us hope that we do come across them before it is too late..."

.::.Strangers Continued.::. DragonsRage24 Nix tilted her head and blinked, Cellen seemed connected to this other younger wolf, were they brothers? But their colors did not match so well, perhaps they were like her nad Rage...could be.
The other wolf, Cael, seemed upset, Rage wouldn't talk to him? Odd. Usually she'd be as talkative as ever, what happened to her to make her act so strange?
Nix nodded to Cellen and padded forward, now onto the rocks, Rage wasn't far out actually, just kind of leaning over the side, looking in the water. Her tail wagged and her ears folded back, "Rage?"
-
Rage was still in the same place, focused on her reflection and almost nothing else she could hear voices, one quite familiar, Cael it was, and she smiled. But there were others as well...one...one Rage could've sworn belonged to someone she had lost.
She had to be going crazy.
Then someone called her name. Raising her head and view Rage looked around to have her amber eyes meet blue...impossible. She stood up, her joints quite sore for reasons unknown to Rage...silver pelt...no. Couldn't be.
-
"Rage come on! Get off these rocks...the tides coming in..." Nix then turned around and padded back until her paws were against the sane of the shore, then she watched to see if Rage was going to come or not.
Rage seemed in shock.
-
Walking forward slowly Rage watched the silver pelted female before her...there was blue on her too...but a black symbol on her should, that resembled Rage's but in a different sense.
It couldn't be...
"Nix?"
Nix smiled when Rage stated her name, and she nodded. Rage noticed Phib, Cellen and Cael on the beach too. But her attention was on Nix...how?
Rage's tail started to wag at an unbelieveable rate...keast to her, and she bolted forward, almost slipping on the rocks and dive tackled Nix. Both tumbled over and rolled in the sand, then remembering others were around Rage got up and pawed at Nix, "How's it possible?"
"Lets not worry about that now, I found you though, thats what matters." Both smiled and pawed at eachother as if they were both pups again and Rage ran over to Cael and pawed at him too, and nudged him with her nose to go up to Nix, "Cael! Its Nix...my sister...well, literal sister, but she's okay!"
Then Rage turned to Phib adn seemed happier, surely Phib found her yes? Maybe Cellen...how'd she find this place anyway? The Nix pawed at Cellen to push him forward towards Rage, "Have you been takin good care of her Cellen yes?" Nix said plauflly, she hoped not too well as Celen had been taking care of her recently. RonsoStryder For the time that Nix and Rage were up upon the breaker, Cellen sat silently alongside Cael as they shifted their paws within the sands. The punk wolf could only hope that everything would be alright between both Nix and Rage at their reunion while Cael only hoped that Rage would talk to him again.
When the two females began joyously reuniting and playfully pawing at one another, a warm smile trailed upon Cellen's maw as he watched. "'Nother happy reunion," the curly tailed male remarked as he glanced towards the young adolescent aside him.
Vibrant green eyes grew soft as Cael was surprised and somewhat startled when the black wolfess pawed and nudged him. Rumbling and nipping on her ear, the purple and black hued male pawed affectionately at her face. "I'm glad your happy again, Rage! I never like when you're silent," he smiled as he glimpsed towards the silver-grey pelted female.
With Rage nudging him to proceed forwards, Cael nodded and, with a casual approach, he smiled warmly as he perked his ears upwards and wagged his tail. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Nix. I see you've met Cellen, eh?" Smirking as he tilted his head slightly, Cael chuckled.
"He's a good guy."
"Me? Taking care of Rage? Maybe a bit when she was younger but teens these days seem to leg it and venture off somewhere new...all of them are a bit hot to trot." Wuffing low as he paws back at his mate, Cellen nuzzled against her and stepped towards Rage.
"You're alright, right Rage?" DragonsRage24 Rage smiled and wagged her tail, seeing Cael seemed brighter in spirits now. They were close, she knew that, she felt it...but thats what was worrying her...with him coming, them being so close...anyone close to Rage could be at risk...but how could she tell them that?
"Course she has to be alright!" Nix said speaking up wagging her tail and head butting Rage. But Rage seemed lost in thought for a second, then came back into reality, "You okay?"
"Wha?-Oh yea I'm fine...just thinking." she said with a tail wag.
"This is great, it'll just be like old times! Rage, I wonder what the valley is like now...we should go back and see...then we could-" Nix rambled but she was cut off.
"No..." Rage said quietly, ears folding back, eyes falling to the ground.
"What're talking about...we can go back there and just-" "I'm not going back Nix...I can't go back..." "What do you mean you can't? What happened in the past is in the past no matter what it may be...besides...your the older of us Rage...that means your the new guar-"
"Nix, no, I'm not going back, I'm staying here..." Rage siad sitting down, tail curling around her. Nix tilted her head in confusion, the Rage she knew never acted like this, but she had to have a good reason for acting like she was. Did she still believe it was her fault...even if it was, it was in the past.
No use dwelling in the past, perhaps Nix and Rage could speak of it at another time.
Nix poked at Rage4's side with her paw and smiled, "Get up you endangered species..." Rage smirked and got up and poked at Nix, "Don't make me make you become what I am." Both burst out laughing, a game they used to play, making up names for eachother.
Rage stepped over to Cael and seemed to hide behind him, "I bet Cael is strong then Cellen..." even though he was younger. Then Nix trotted over to Cellen, sat next to him and leaned against him...and nuzzled him? Rage's eyes grew wide.
She jumped form behind Cael and pointed with her paw,"You two..your..." Rage couldn't seem to get the word out of her mouth...were they mates? It couldn't be...could it? RonsoStryder There was something about females that males could never understand. Either it was their strange games, their emotions or their actions, both Cellen and Cael were, simply, out of the loop. Both males sat silently listening without uttering a word as both Nix and Rage spoke to one another.
It wasn't until Rage positioned herself behind Cael that the young male grinned and emitted a small, playful hackle as he bared his teeth. Looking back towards Rage with an unbearable grin, the young adolescent focused back at Cellen. "What do you think, Cell; Shall we wrestle for dignity?"
No response.
Either the punk wolf hadn't heard the challenge or he was too busy taking time to...snuggle?
The punk wolf rumbled softly as his curled tail swayed behind him in a fast manner, cerulean orbs gazing back towards the silver-grey pelted female. As he nipped at her ear, his own ears perked upwards as his focus darted towards Rage. Ceasing to gnaw on his mates ear and letting it still rest within his maw, Cellen gave a sheepish smile.
"Mates? Well...I'd perferr the term 'Marra's' but...er-yes. We're mates." Pausing for a few moments, the punk wolf sheepsihly smiled. "Surprise?" Hesitantly smiling as he wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing, Cellen chuckled softly as he let Nix's ear slid from out of his maw and nuzzled her once again.
Standing behind Rage, Cael was speechless. His eyes looked onwards with either an uncertain sensation or wholesome disbelief. As his tail layed motionless around him, the adolescent lowered his head and walloped a paw over his eyes.
"Great." DragonsRage24 Rage was in total disbelief and shock...Nix found a mate before she did? That wasn't fair! Rage was older...well, by six days but still! Rage remembered the days she and Nix would joke around of finding mates, finding the one that would 'complete' them. And Nix found hers first?
Nix tilted her head at Rage, all the whilke still leaning against Cellen.

.::.Fight of Blood, Search of Enemy" :Arguin/Daemon/Wrigley/Malik/Cellen/Cael/Phib.::. DragonsRage24 Malik's red eyes were focused on Phib as he spoke. Anything Phib had to say or stated was important adn should be remembered, least that is what Malik believed. Malik knew Amelie would be getting closer, and Phib's howl rang throughout the stale air and was carried high above the canopy of trees above them. Hopefully someone would hear.
Daemon was resting by a stream that crept away from the river, his seemingly blind eyes watched the water rush over the stones and pebbles beneath its surface. Something was coming, or happening, or both. The odd scent was in the air that somethin was wrong, something was changed. Blue orbs watched the water until his ears twitched to the side when Phib's howl could be heard. Standing up and beginning to bolt off in one direction towards the place where his howl broke from, Daemon ran as fast as he could, now he knew something was wrong.
Wrigley had been wandering the borders patroling somewhat, and searching for Cassidy at the same time. He wanted to bring her to show this new place he found, kind of secluded on the beach, he thougth she'd like it or appreciate it more then others around here. But he stopped short hearing Phib's howl. He too turned and began to bolt off in the direction it came from.
Malik's ears flattened against his skull somewhat, but then he perked them back up. It wouldn't be good to show Phib that he was uncertain of this predicament. He ahd to show he was brave and strong. He had too. Phib was very much like a father figure in Malik's eyes. So he had to make him proud somehow. Maybe if he hunted down this intruder...that could be a possibility.
Wrigley was the first to find where Mailk and Phib and Amelie were. His nose was so used to trying to follow a scent it was all too easy for him, but he was worried with what was happening. Why Phib had outwardly called out. Surely there wasn't a pack meeting already was there? "I came...as fast...as I could Phib..." Wrigley said panting. He wanted to make a good impression in Phib's eyes. Getting close to Cassidy meant that Wrigley would have to be in well standings with Phib.
Jumping over a log in his path Daemon skidded short. A blue mass in his way blocking him. "Arguin you idiot! out of the way! Didn't you hear Phib!?" Daemon spoke out harshly. But Arugin wasn't looking up at him, he was staring at the ground. His forelegs seemed to be trembling. "Arguin, what the hell is teh matter with you?!"
Peering up slate gray eyes met vacant blue, something different was about his eyes. And a feeling in the pit of Daemon's stomach made it all too nerveracking. Arguin looked like he was in a trance. But there was a foreign scent upon him. Daemon's eyes narrowed, "Arguin...what happened?" But no answer. "Arguin...where-is-he!?" No answer.
Arguin's ears folded back upon his head as he whispered lowly, "Please...make it stop..." Daemon tilted his head in confusion when he heard a growl start to erupt from Arguin's throat, "I'm sorry brother."
With that Arguin lunged forward, another presence in his mind taking over and Daemon just frowned and moved out of the way. Snarling in reponse and ramming Arguin into a tree. Back adn forth they went until Daemon held Arguin down with a paw, "SNAP OUT OF IT!" Daemon hated Arguin, but because Arguin let himself be mnipulated by the darkness in the past. And it seemed the darkness had come here. Reason Daemon wasn't sure EXACTLY, but he had a hunch.
"Get up..." Daemon said turning adn running towards where Phib's howl had come from. Arguin stood up, shook himself a bit, wincing when he stepped down. Daemon had bit his forearm, but he paid no mind. It had snapped him out of his trance.
Daemon jumped into the area where Malik and Phib seemed to be. Almost crashing into Wrigley. The very faint smell of blood no Daemon's tongue was not from Croanyl but Arguin. Arguin stepping in close after him. "I apologize it took me so long..." Daemon said bowing his head to Phib then lifting it and glaring at Arguin, "I got a bit distracted...we're fine though..." Daemon said referring to himself and Arguin. Arguin just needed to be bitten to snap him out of the manipulative trance he seemed to be in.
Arguin bowed his head in respect to Phib as well, apologtically. Daemon went to say something, but Arguin cut him off, "He's here...I saw him..." but Arguin wasn't sure which direction he wouldn've gone in. Probably to find that girl no doubt.
"What should we do?" Wrigley and Daemon asked at the same time. Malik waiting to see what Phib would say. Werewolf Cassidy had heard the howl as well, and once again she had been shrinking duties. But when the low howl echoed up and across her back, her body froze and she glanced in the direction of it all. What did that mean? Her hair stood on end, and the small female snorted. There was danger? Oh, ********, would Phib be mad at her this time! Hopefully it hadn’t been in the area she was supposed to watch– she had never actually thought someone would try to invade the pack before....! Maybe it was a bear? The wild thoughts convulsed, and she didn’t even realize another wolf was running up beside her. “Cassidy!” Gareth spoke, his pale brown fur brimming. “What’s going on?” Up until this point, the cousins hadn’t actually been speaking to one another. Hearing Gareth’s voice brought her out of her delima thoughts, and she stepped to the side. “I don’t know, he’s your father!” She panted. “There must be something wrong.” Gareth fidgeted, and frantically wondered where Mozelle was. But if there was trouble, he figured it would be best to find Phib. Phib rarely sent any kind of alarm- he loved trouble. But if it was bad enough for Phib to let everyone know about it, then that probably meant there was some bad trouble.
The small male shifted, and suddenly took off, and gasping, Cassidy ran off after him.
By the time the two had showed up, Daemon, Wrigley and Arguin had already made it to there. The pair skidded to a flailing stop- particularly once Phib shot them an angry look. Compulsively, Cassidy ran over towards Wrigley and ducked behind him- and feeling naked without someone to hide behind, Gareth simply stood to the left of his father and trembled. It seemed everyone was falling in rapid motion. Phib opened his mouth to say something, but Amélie had finally caught up. She was panting and she danced between all the men, her tail shifting nervously. “Logan is okay, and so are the two females.” Amélie reported.
Phib shook his head. “I don’t give a damn who he is.” He spoke. Whoever this male was, he brought too much fear into Arguin- and he was sure that in some way, the others were made nervous about him as well. The old king would not have some kind of superstition working to the strangers advantage. “There’s only one of him. Amélie and Malik come with me, you two go east-“ And towards Wrigley and Cassidy. “And you go north. We’ll go west.” That left south- but Phib had an idea it wouldn’t be long before Cellen made an apearence.
“We find him, and we keep him in one place. Don’t let him rise the alarm anymore then he has. He wants everyone to panic. Someone needs to find Rage." The black creature turned towards the trembling brown. "Gareth!"
"Yeah?" Gareth wheezed.
"Go make sure no one is sleeping." He grumbled. Gareth nodded nervously, and skittered off. DragonsRage24 Malik stood with his back straight, eyes narrowed only slightly, in anger consuming him, that someone dare come to Phib's territory and try to hurt those in his pack. Malik's pack...Malik's new family. He had already lost a family once before, he'd be damned if it was going to happen again. Stepping closer to teh side of Phib Malik nodded in Phib's reponse to everything that was going on. He was glad he could be beside Phib...and Amelie too of course. Malik saw Phib as a father figure though, adn he wanted to make him proud, no matter what it took.
Malik knew he was getting older. And would soon have to be assigned a position besides learning knew things and getting stronger. He wanted to prove that he had done what Phib asked to his true potential. Perhaps he would get a chance today.
Daemon stood with great pride in his heart. He had come back. But why? Daemon knew the stories behind Croanyl, what he had done to try and gain power in the valley of the wind, their home. He'd do anything to make sure no one was left, so that he could gain the valley and become the guardian there. Become a legend perhaps. But he'd be stopped.
Arguin had a great hatred for Croanyl, he stole everything from him. Damned him to hell for it everyday. Daemon adn Arguin nodded and began to pad off in the direction they were directed to go in. If they came across him...they would rip them to shreads. ANd bond as brothers once again.
Wrigley watched as Daemon and Arguin disappeared into the brush. And then he turned to Cassidy, and knudged her lightly with his shoulder for her to follow beside them. As he began to go off into the direction Phib had told them to go in, he leaned his head next to hers and whispered, "Don't worry...I'll protect you...I swear..." he wagged his tail and gave her a reassuring lick on her cheek. He was determined to protect Cassidy with his life.
Malik watched as everyone seemed to disappear, it getting quiet now. He noticed Phib left the south uncovered, by the beach was it? His brain twitched, trying to place everything in the correct area. But Cellen would come. Then things would be fine. So he waited for Phib to begin to go off, and he would follow. He'd follow him and Amelie wherever they brrought him. RonsoStryder The solacing, almost chilling howl that Phib had unleashed was enough to arouse and break the trance of the punk wolfs mind from his consuming thoughts concerning the boundaries of the packlands, his mate and his attempt to patrol silently along the southern boundaries of the packlands. His metal ridden ears perked forwards as his strangely curled tail swaggered fast behind him in a high arch.
"A mess of horlicks is about to begin," he mused with a low rumble, cerulean orbs darting into the direction of where the howl erupted from. "Somethin' is comin'..."
Pivoting slightly as he peered back towards the shoreline, Cellen snorted a short breath as he stammered his right forepaw upon the ground. "CAEL! Come on, mate! Phib's callin' and we dare not be late!"
"I'm coming!"
A figure upon the sands jostled upright and began dashing madly to where the Head Guard stood. With a panting breath and his tongue hanging out of his maw, the young adolescent narrowed his sea green eyes towards the older male and nodded his head. "What's goin' on, Cell?" Cael sputtered out in a breath as he stumbled aside.
"Not sure but we can't be standin' 'ere all day. Ready to run?"
With a grin spreading across his maw, Cael nodded his head. "Always."
Without a moment to lose, the two suddenly lunged into full strides, paws furiously falling and clenching the ground as their muscles and entire body propelled them forwards. They didn't know what laid in store or what was causing the pack to become restless and weary but, whatever it was, both Cellen and Cael would offer up their strength and assistance to Phib and the pack.
It didn't take long for the two to finally arrive and erupt from the brush into the area where few were gathered. Running ahead as his curly tail was raised bristled and arched upwards, Cellen cleared his throat and gritted his teeth slightly while Cael trailed a few steps behind.
"Another bloke who has the bullocks to attack the pack in the packlands again?"

.::.Let Go:Rage/Croanyl-Nix/Phib/Amelie/Cellen/Cael.::. DragonsRage24 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rage ran down the beach a few inches from where the waves lapped the shore. Turning the golden sand brown and wet her amber eyes were focused on the target before her. She could see him in the distance, could even feel his eyes beating down on her. This was it, she had one last chance to protect the family she had now...she'd do everything in ehr power to keep Phib and Amelie and everyone safe. She wouldn't lose them again.
Slowing her pace down she looked down at her forelegs, they were stronger then before, then when she had run from the valley. The red symbols still upon her fur that she was dusgusted of, that were a constant reminder of her betraying and letting her family die. She wouldn't do it we'd stay and fight.
She stopped, her amber eyes meeting a figure that made a chill run up and down her spine. His white eyes penetrating deep into her as if looking into her soul. She felt the voice in the back of her mind start to take control, but she pushed it away. She didn't need to fall into senselessness now.
"So...finally we meet..." his voice spoke out cooly. Tail flicking to the side, "believe me, it'll be the last time we meet as well..." His maw twisted into a grin, his fangs bearing themselves to her. But her gaze with narrow eyes never falted, her stance strong.
"Leave..."
"Think that its that easy? I've waited a long time for this...that imbasil Arguin couldn't even bring you to me..." he laughed and stepped forward towards her. And she noticed that he had black symbols upon his fur, just like she had red upon black, "So you've noticed eh? We're not too different...but only one of us will live..."
"I won't let you hurt them...I'll protect them" she said almost choking, she could feel the tears at the corner of her eyes, but she couldn't show fear or weakness, not now. "I won't let you take them away from me...I won't let you hurt them!" she snarled, the fur on her neck bristling up, ears folding back.
"Protect them? Don't make me laugh child...I know your secret..." he said with a grin, white eyes blinking once or twice. Rage's face and expression went cold...no.
"Don't let him fill you with fear...do what I say and..." "No...stop it...please..."
The internal battle was beginning again.
"I know how your pack, your family, your sister was killed in front of your eyes..." he took a step forward, she shook her head as if denying it, "I know what you did, you ran, and condemned them to death!"
"NO!"
"YES! Its your fault they're dead! Your fault that your alone! Your fault that their blood was innocently split on the earth!"
"I didn't mean to...it-it was an accident...it wasn't my fault!" ters were threatening to show themselves. But she held them abck with all the strength in her that she could control. Pushing the voice from her head.
"Don't worry child, you will be with them again...I'll even send the mogrels here with you so you won't lose them," with that Croanyl lunged forward, fangs beared. Rage was getting out of control. Snarlin she lunged for him to. Thrashing adn biting into his neck, but she let go and screeched and yelped in pain as she felt him bite into her back leg, his jaws cracking down on the bone beneath his fangs.
He flung her forward, so that her back hit a rather large stone behind her. She shook her head to clear her vision and looked up just in time to feel his fangs on her again. On her neck, but far enough away from her jugular so that he wouldn't kill her with that one bite.
His tongue tasted her blood and it tasted divine. Her yelps of pain only excited him more of the kill that he would break upon her. He ripped at her neck, blood flowing from her wounds he stepped on her, pressing down on her ribs.
She could feel herself slipping, the pain overtaking her, her eyelids becoming heavy. No. She had to stay awake and protct them...Phib wouldn't be proud of her if she died too quickly, she...she had to fight. PUshing up and much as she could she craned her neck to bite into his back leg. Making him leg go and take a step back. Just in time to see her stand on her wobbling legs.
"Don't fight it...death is only the beginning..." he grinned wickedly and began going towards her again. But he stopped, her head was faced down, her breathing heavy, as she raised her eyes they seemed wild and lit with fire. His eyes went wide.
He was too late.
"Now listen...he's afraid of this...your hidden strength...your cunning...you lost it before when you saw them die...that is what your marks mean...hidden strength, and if in red, a strength no other can posses. Thats why he fears you in reality, thats why he wants to kill you..." "What....what are you?" "You'r other half, the darkness within you, but I'm not like him...I am Ryu..." "Dragon?" "Yes, and you are Rage...become the Rage of the Dragon as you were born to be." "How?" "...just Let Go."
Now she knew, now she understood. Even if she was Dragons Rage by name, by birth, she would forever be Rage to others. But now she'd be stronger...if she'd survive. Now it all made sense, his strength, the connection between her and Nix. The sapes of ehr markings...they looked like dragons. Red being the color that symbolized strength and rage in ehr pack. Everything seemed clearer and made sense.
"I now understand..." her eyes glaring daggers into him, "I know what I am...and how your afraid...I won't let you touch them...and if I die...you die..." with that she lunged towards him. Fangs and claws ripping at eachother's flesh over and over. Blood sppilling onto the sand and pebbles beneath them. Blood pouring from wounds. Rage was fighitng back, ripping into him more. But with every thrash she made, he came back with double. He was large then her, stronger then her teen physical state. She was losing too much blood now, her head beginning to feel light.
She was biting into his neck, tasting his own blood, her body on his back, neck craned under clining to his throat. He was aggitated, aggrivated, so he went to the larger stone and repeatedly rammed her against it, trying to make her grip losen. With every bang of her back she clenched her jaws together in pain. Her mind screaming out.
"I...I-I have to protect you..." Flashes of Nix, Cael, Phib and Amelie coming to her mind. Another ram, her grip was lossening, she was losing her strength. "I won't...let you die...but I...I can't...do this for much longer..." her grip was almost gone and he rammed her once more and she let go and howled out in pain and agony. He body feeling like it was crumbling. Her muscles aching, she couldn't move as she lay next to the stone, the waves lapping around her, water an inch deep now turning red from her own blood. She couldn't raise her head, her amber eyes were blurred. "please....some...someone help...help me... Rage didn't want to die. She wanted to stay, she had a new family, adn she'd protect them till death if she had too. She wondered if she should've said good-bye to Phib and Amelie...to Cael. She had to stay alive for them...but-
She choked, Croanyl stepped on her neck, trying to cut off air from reaching her lungs, keeping her from howling out again. He grinned, his body was bloody but not as bad as hers, "I told you...death is only the beginning...accept it...and maybe I'll spare them." Werewolf Things were flowing quickly in a flush of foot falls and heart beats. She was getting dizzy in them all- and all around her there were wild thoughts that constantly attempted to grab her attention. But before she could, another mind spoke up with a wild thought, and she forced herself into a hushed withdrawal. Keeping up with Phib and Malik was becoming mostly mechanical impulse, and because of it, the seer had fallen behind considerably.
Something terrible was going on- and she didn’t need to be a seer to know that.
The black king moved quickly in front of the small group, and although he was racing, his destination was somewhat foggy. He was following a scent that did not seem familiar, and as it lead closer towards the salty smell of the beach, the potency of it was beginning to be lost in the crushing salt of the water. Blood was flooding miserably through his head in quick steady pounds, and had he had the moment to consider it, he probably would have regretted the impending headache. To point simply, he was fed up with it. All of it. From the beginning of his time- this feeling just moments before something quite like this. Running towards Red Mountain, Kahj, Carius, Ryukkii and her father- the list was endless. It was something he should have adapted to- even he allowed himself to still be called the War King. But there always was that person just moments before the crisis, who perhaps never wanted to be there at all.
A sudden pang flooded into Amélie’s head, and it spread up her muzzle and to the center with shuddering clarity. The small female jumped to the side with a slight yelp, and although Phib heard it, he kept moving with Malik shortly behind. There was a many manner of things why she had suddenly spasmed- but he could think of none that would have helped the present situation by running. A moment later she confirmed his decision.
Wait- wait!
In his time during the woods, Phib had probably gained a reputation for being any number of things. Egotistical, chauvinistic, arrogant- but he had never acted with haste. He spoke before fighting, he liked to play with his words and make a grand show of the whole affair. He was a political creature- and political battles were the ones he preferred.
But when there was no politics, and there was no time to speak- the old wolf that Hrothmund once raised had little problem adapting to this as well.
Wait-wait! Amélie creened again, but by that time, Phib and Malik had already burst onto the scene at the beach. The black wolf paused for a jostling minute, before lurching forward, not taking more then a few moments to access the situation. He had no idea who this wolf was, whether it was really Croaynl or not. What he was doing was apparent- and frankly, Phib was sick of talking. The large wolf plowed across the sand, suddenly giving a very dry and brutal snarl. Movement had to be fast- and by that time, his paws were striking the sand only by the toes. There were no speeches- and when he got to be about five feet from the male- Phib lurched to the side, and knocked his full weight and momentum into the other male. It put him at a slight disadvantage for a moment as his weight connected and forced him to move with the offending male- mostly likely, to tumble into tide. DragonsRage24 Malik watched as Phib seemed to jerk and go in one direction, Phib, Malik and Amelie now on the beach. Before his wild red eyes was an image that burnt into his mind; Rage was on the ground, another wolf looming over her, and the smell of blood was thick in the air. Malik watched as Phib rushed forward without saying any words, and was going to go help, taking a tep forward but he stopped...he thought it would be best for Phib to take control. After all, if this was the intruding wolf, Phib wa the alpha, and he would deal the rightful punishment.
Rage could barely breath and her eyeslids were growing heavy, she could hear the snarling of Croanyl and his breath near her neck. Then it was gone. Croanyl's entire presence disappeared from her neck, leeting some air get to her lungs. She gasped and choked taking a deep breath, and turned her head to see Croanyl being knocked into the water forcefully by Phib. She sighed as if content, she knew with Phib here now, and her being able to injure Croanyl slightly, that Phib would have his way with him. Perhaps even rip him apart. She laid her head back down and looked out and could see the vague image of Amelie, Rage's vision being partially blurred she couldn't quite tell, "Amelie?" she spoke out in her mind weakly, hoping if it was Amelie, that she'd know. Amelie being close both made Rage feel safer but fearful if Croanyl got his paws on her.
Croanyl snarled out in pain as Phib connected with his body. Ramming into his side hurt and falling into the salty water, the water touching his wounds stinging him, and the salt taste running into his mouth made him gag before him stood up again. Fur dripping wet as he tried to move out of the surf. Closer to the beach, closer to Rage again. But this time he was turned around.
His white eyes held hatred for Phib now, and they glanced over to where Malik and Amelie stood, and his maw twisted into a grin, "Your family? Why do anything for her..." he said making a motion with his paw, "She is not of your blood, let me finish what I came to do..." he turned his head slightly to glance in Amelie and Malik's direction, "Or perhaps I'll kill your mate and your son..." Croanyl new he was overstepping boundries, not the best idea but it was in his nature.
Fur bristling up on his neck he snarled and went to lunge forward but felt a sharp pain in his right hind leg. Turning his head back his eyes met the amber eyes of Rage. She was clamping down on his leg as if holding him in place for Phib. But her neck was exposed now...
"Amelie...I won't let him get hurt...I'll protect both of you..." Croanyl now enraged quickly turned his head and grabbed onto her neck and twisted his jaws so that her neck began to bleed and she yelped out in pain letting go of his leg. He threw her some distance again and turned back to Phib, a bloody smile of approval on his face. But Croanyl tried to take a step forward and nearly faltered and fell over, his balance was off...
Rage's breath was heavy, but she could still see Croanyl standing by Phib. She tried desperately to have her muscles move and push herself up but she was struggling. Maybe if she just rested for a minute...no! She had to stay awake. SHe had to in case she needed to help again. Do something to make sure Phib adn Amelie were safe.
Croanyl was now snarling at Phib, crouched down a bit as if to lunge forward. A stand off between the two. Croanyl knew he was in trouble now, he was weaker, off balance, and against a wolf he hoped he'd never have to deal with. Werewolf If Amélie was worried for Phib’s safety, she had an odd way of showing it. The small female rushed onto the beach, stumbling over small pieces of broken driftwood as she tried to scramble towards the shore, all the while shouting numerous pleading cries in variations of- “Stop it! Stop it please! Don’t hurt him Phib, stop it!” It was a shrieking cry- and he heard it, even above the surf and the blood rushing through his head. He’d heard the tone twice before now- and every time he did he hated it more and more.
But his mind was on other things. The damned wolf dare speak to him-! It brought a thick and raw snarl from his throat. What the hell did he take him for? And he obviously knew nothing about him if he was threatening his son’s life! Or perhaps he had confused Malik for his son? Was it wrong to think that it might struck more of a nerve in him if he really had meant Malik over Gareth? That would be something Amélie would no doubt weep about later- if she didn’t go into a coma by the end of this.
As Craonyl stepped back into the surf, Phib approached, finding his snarl fade from roar to a thick, and almost malicious laughter. These wolves! They thought him so noble! “You don’t know me friend.” Phib spat. “Or you would never say such a thing. Kill my mate and child! I’ve only got one left!” He chuckled bitterly. “Shut your mouth, I couldn’t give a ******** for your taunts. Do what you want with them- if you can.” Suddenly, he was distracted by the reappearance of Rage, clamping down on Craonyl’s leg. Before anything else could be done, the larger male clutched the small female by the neck and flung her away into the waters, and returned to face him. “Stay away.” Phib snapped towards Rage- and for a moment jerked his head towards Amélie. “Stop it, stop it!” She yelled again hoarsely. She had still been yelling all the while?
He turned back, and the dark wolf was crouching, readying himself for an attack. Seconds were sliding away faintly- he’d been here before too. How many fights had this other wolf been in? He stood right for a fight at least.
It never really felt like the fighting had ever ended. Phib lurched forward, and did not wait for the other wolf to make a move as he typically would. Normally he did not fight with the intention of killing- but there was no care or even much respect he could hold for this wolf. He simply didn’t care.
As the black wolf approached, he stopped short, and stood up. It was an awkward posture for one to be in- but in years of fighting he’d somewhat perfected his own style of it. He loomed for a second in the air before swatting his paws downwards at the male’s snout, using the force of it to drive the head down and place a bite sharply on the other male’s exposed shoulder and drag him down to the water's bobbing level. DragonsRage24 Croanyl snarled and yelped slightly as he hit the ground in pain. He could feel his energy leaving him, but he wouldn't give up, he couldn't give up. His white eyes looked up again at PHib and burned into him, Phib's words meant nothing. But what interested Croanyl was the fact that the black wolf had only one child left.
He could use that to his advantage.
Croanyl pushed himself up again, and took up another defensive stance. "Perhaps... but how would you feel if your only son you had left was dead hmm?" he turned to Malik and licked his lips, yes, he could almost taste the child blood already. But then his eyes turned to Amelie, she was his mate huh? But from this area she seemed like she was blind. He laughed and turned back to Phib, "What if he and your mate lay dead...and you left alone that you provoked such a deed..."
Malik growled and snarled, and made sure to keep a keen watch on Amelie. He moved where she moved, but if she got too close, she might get hurt. Malik would protect Amelie. But then...who would protect Rage? He couldn't even get near her with that wolf there. "Amelie...not too close..." Malik said in a hushed tone, last thing he wanted upon his shoulders that if Amelie got hurt it was his fault for not doing his duty for Phib.
Rage's eyes were closed, and she was breathing hard. She heard Phib's words, but they didn't register in her mind. Only thing that was on her mind were the images of the past, watchig her family be murdered before her, just as this wolf was trying to do. She couldn't live through that again, she couldn't...
"Leave...them a-alone..." she spoke, raising her head to look at Croanyl and glare into his eyes. She couldn't move from where she was right now, but she was psuhing her muscles to lift ehr up again. Phib said to stay away, but she had to help, she had to.
Croanyl smirked and laughed at her, "Think you can save them child? Why don't you just roll over and go to hell where you belong..." his eyes were cold, but he spoke as if he didn't care. "You think you can protect them just as you protected your family?" Croanyl looked at Phib, and took a few steps towards Rage and leaned down so she could hear him, "Well here's my little secret...how do you think those two-legs found their way in hmm? Who could've led them there...but someone who had been there before...but it was your scent that led their dogs to your family....your the reason they died..."
Her eyes went wide and anger built up in ehr heart was now raging through her blood. He had to be lying, he had to. But...but she knew he had been in the generation before...she heard the stories. It was him? He started the chain? She snarled and pushed and strained her mscles standing up. Croanyl took a few steps back, watching her, his back to Phib (not the brightest of ideas).
Her body was shaking, not from pain, but from anger, pure rage, "If what you say is true...and I am to die..." her eyes narrowed at him, "Then I'm dragging you down to hell with me..." she knew Phib said to stay away. She knew it, but lunged forward anyway. She had watched him, adn got an idea. Croanyl snarled and lunged forward to grab onto her, but she ducked, and rammed her full weight into his chest, knocking him back towards Phib, and he fell to the ground snarling. Trying to push himself up quickly.
Rage fell to the ground, her muscles not responding anymore, she did what she could, she wouldn't let them get hurt. And from what Phib had accomplished, she doubted he'd even get the chance. Her eyes began to close but she was still breathing, but content with what she had done, "Ame...I made a vow to keep you and Phib safe...to make them proud...I hope I did..." Rage was speaking of 'them' referring to her fallen family, but moreso Amelie and Phib. They were like her family now, Phib and Amelie were like parental figures in her eyes. And she hoped they would be proud of her...that Phib would be proud of her....and Amelie would be happy and safe.
Croanyl snarled and tried to stand once again. But now he was exposed. Things weren't looking so good... RonsoStryder In the distance, the cerulean orbs of the punk wolf had been drifting across the ocean as he and his "younger brother" sat atop the breakers that barriered the sea and the rockside of the ocean. The day was toiling into the early hours of the afternoon but there was a haunting feeling, a lingering sensation that something was not right. No-- something was defiantely not right and the stomach churning, gripping feeling was ever present more than ever.
As Cellen's eyes mulled over the surroundings, his ears perked up as yelps and howls sounded out against the crashing roar of the surf. Pivoting about, the curly-tailed male furrowed his brows.
"Bloody--"
His eyes widened as the figures that crept upon the beach struck familiarity and his ill feelings stirred within him. Phib and Amelie were there along with Malik, Rage and-- a newcomber? Oh, it appeared that there was a brawl in session and it seemed that Rage was in the middle of it along with the foreigner.
"Cael--CAEL!" The punk wolf barked as his tail rose up behind him, curling tighter as his gaze continued to glance towards the scene below. "Get up, mate! Rage is in a bit of horlicks along with Phib and the gang!"
"What?" Averting his sea green eyes towards the tussle, the brown-purple adolescent watched as Rage slammed into the older male, sending him off his stance and towards the ground. Gritting his teeth as his ears swivled back, Cael stifled a growl within his throat.
"He's trying to kill her! We gotta help!"
"Then what are we doin'? Come on!" Diverting his attention back towards the beach, Cellen leapt into lunging strides and began scaling down the slope of jagged, rocks that bordered the sea. His tongue lolled out the side of his mouth, heart racing and thumping against his chest as he hoped--pleaded that no harm would come to anyone out of this ordeal. Stumbling into a jump and onto the sands, the punk wolf began madly sprinting to the aid of his Alpha and his fellow pack members.
"Phib! Amelie!" He howled as he raced across the sands, paws sinking into the depths and making it somewhat of a struggle to come into the battle front.
"Rage!" Cael screamed as his heart solaced, aching with the unfolding events.
Coming behind the punk wolf, Cael gritted his teeth as his focus centered upon both Rage and the antagonizing wolf. With fur bristling upon his back, Cael flung his tail high into the air and took a stance-- orbs falling upon the foriegner as he readied himself for whatever would come next.
"Don't touch her!" Werewolf Hoarsely, Phib snorted and wheeled around the dark wolf’s position. “Don’t taunt me.” He spat. “Your words are pathetic and s**t- what would I do if you killed them? I would be dead! Do you think it matters to me what they do? What you do? I only have control over what I do. I can’t lead them to their deaths no more then you can.” He bristled. “How many wolves have stood in front of me and rambled s**t about what they’d do to my family?”
Things fell quickly- Rage suddenly catapulted into the other male’s side, knocking him towards the black wolf. Dammit- he had told her to stay away. Luckily, he doubted the grey male would be getting a chance to make a retaliation attack on Rage. The stranger was focused on her- and regretfully, turned his back upon the old king.
“You don’t know me Wolf.” Phib bristled bitterly. “You’d best worry about what I’d do to you and yours.” He curtly remarked, and before the adversary could make another jump at Rage, or before another of the wolves could jump in, he streaked forward and promptly clamped his jaws on the ruff of fur right above the shoulders and yanked him backwards with a vicious snap.
The black wolf wheeled again, this time flanking and cutting himself back so he faced opposite of Rage- and blocked the path back between the others, himself and Croanyl- forcing the other male to have to go through him if he wished to continue. But unfortunately- Phib wasn’t even waiting to give the other wolf the choice. He lurched forward with a sharp snapping of teeth, looking to grab the first thing of the stranger that reached his grasp and tear into him.
All the while- Amélie was still screaming, and he hated it. They were not even worth all the screaming- either of them. DragonsRage24 Croanyl fell to the ground again. This time he pushed himself up again, but he appeared weaker, he hated showing weakness almost as much as he hated the fact that that damned girl still was breathing. Phib was interesting to Croanyl, such a wolf had emotions deep within him, and now all seemed to be lashing out in an array of ways to take him down...no matter. Croanyl would just have to work harder wouldn't he?
However he did notice that two others had arrived. Two more males, one larger then the other and with a curled tail. The other seemed more angry at Croanyl for gettin near Rage. This was interesting, perhaps between the girl adn this child there was something? Hmmm...he wondered if he could rip them apart.
Malik moved so he was standing near Cellen and Cael, but keeping a close watch on Amelie as well. Malik didn't particularly like Cael, for Malik had seen Rage first...a whole lot of drama waiting to happen.
Now out of the forested area burst Nix onto the scene. Running frantically, and she skid to a halt behind Cellen. Her eyes widening seeing what was before her. Rage on the ground, Amelie screaming, Phib standing between Rage and...him. She felt somehting in her stomach drop. Not only having found the fact that Arguin was a real wolf, but that the darknened wolf known as Croanyl was still alive after years past made her worry.
Rage watched as Phib attacked and then stood between her and Croanyl, she wanted to rip Croanyl's throat out. Then the scent of Nix came onto the air. And again much to her body's dismay, she pushed up again, trying to stand once again. "Nix..." she spoke in a hoarse tone, her throat hurting immensely. Nix went to get closer but didn't know what to do until Rage spoke again. "He did it...he started the whole thing..."
"Rage, what're you talking about?" she was confused. Everything was happening so fast.
"He led them to the border...led them to a palce where...where they could follow my scent..." Rage was about halfway up, when she raised her eyes to glare at Croanyl. She knew Phib would be angry. But she prayed he would understand. All this time she blamed herself, yes, she was in part with her pack's undoing, but Croanyl started it. "He killed them..."
Nix's face was that of shock and horror. Nix knew that Rage's scent had led those two-leg's dogs to the valley, BUt she never understood how they could pick it up. Now it made sense. Croanyl led them to the border, then they caught her scent. Her eyes narrowed and she snarled. Her family was gone...her younger brother that was merely days old was killed, not even able to live life.
Nix moved from where she was to go over to Rage, helping her up. Rage stood again, leaning against Nix ofr support, and both moved to stand beside Phib, as a standoff against Croanyl.
"You two think you could do anything now?" Croanyl snarled. Being faced against Phib was enough to handle, now both of them? His eyes then held a shocked feeling, their eyes...they were different. Their eyes seemed to glow from teh reflection of the crashing waves. Croanyl knew Rage had found out the truth, did Nix know as well.
s**t.
Croanyl took a few steps back from all of them. "It seems that your plans have fallen through..." Nix spoke outloud. Rage forced a faint smile upon her maw, "We won't let you hurt them..."
Croanyl took another step back. Glaring at Cellen and Cael. "One day I'll finish this...and you won't be able to save her..." The wind blew harshly, and Croanyl's nose was cast to the wind, a smirk upon his maw. Someone else was coming, bringing something else to the pack. Only time would tell when they would arrive.
Turning he bolted off down the beach. Away form Phib, away from rage and everyone. True, this chapter was done for him, but he'd return adn try to finish what he had started.
Rage felt relieved, and sighed, leaning against Nix she felt light-headed, and slipped and fell over. Nix tried to pick her back up but couldn't, Nix was still too small to do anything but sit at Rage's side. She could feel her eyes welling up with tears...she just couldn't lose Rage. Nix left Rage's side for a moment to walk over to Cellen, and buried her face in his shoulder nad let the tears fall. Nix had stood up to him yes, but she owndered if he'd win in the long run before the day was done.
Rage moved her head so she could look up at Phib, an apologetic look upon her face, "I'm sorry...I tried..."
Malik stoo next to Cael. And now the real question came, what could they do now? How could they even help her if neither he or Cael alone could move her. Nix wouldn't be able to, everything had happened so fast. Malik wondered if he found Croanyl first if all of this could've been avoided.
Rage couldn't get up again, but she hoped Phib wouldn't be mad at her, that was the last thing she wanted. She wanted Phib to be proud of her, for trying to protect them. She wanted Amelie to be safe. RonsoStryder Both Cellen and Cael stood there, watching as the brawl between the black and scar tattered Alpha, Phib, and the foreigner brawled once again. The punk wolf arched his curly tail high as his cerulean orbs narrowed towards the strange wolf just as Phib lerched forwards and pummled him towards the ground. A hackle echoed and rumbled forth from his throat as he stood there awaiting whatever might come next or anticipating for what actions would need to be taken.
On the other hand, Cael was shifting his feet within the deep sands of the beach. How he wanted to lunge at the opposing wolfs throat! Rage had already been victimized by Arguin but this wolf-- this newcomber, there was a strange ill feeling that churned within his stomach.
Glancing towards the side as another black furred figure entered the scene, the young adolescent shifted his hears back and looked away.
It was Malik.
Though Cael had only deciphered that the other wolf held a grudge against him for harboring a passion for Rage, he never did understand why there had to be a hostile and ackward sensation between them whenever they came in contact. But, for now, there was no time to let his thoughts muse about Malik.
Rage was in trouble.
"What should we do?" Cael whispered as he turned towards the punk wolf, ears swivling as he tilted his head slightly.
"There's nothing we can do," he spoke hoarsely. "One wrong move and this little brumble will be more of a mess of horlicks." Intaking a deep breath and letting a sigh escape from his maw, Cellen bit his lower lip as he diverted his attention towards the others. Everything was in chaos and everyone was going mad with the high tension that was consuming each individuals train of thought. But someone was missing....
Head check; Phib, Amelie, Rage, Cael, Malik and--
With eyes suddenly widening as he pivoted around, Cellen flicked his tail to the side as there was but another approaching the scene.
It was Nix.
A widespread grin crossed his maw as a relief faded from off his shoulders and his heart. She was safe and that was all that had mattered since he stumbled upon the brawl. Dispatching from the outskirts, both Cellen and Cael repositioned themselves aside both Nix and Rage as their fur bristled upon their backs and their teeth were bared.
They weren't going to let Rage slip away from them without a fight or bloodshed. But before either of them could utter a word, the foreigner evaded and retreated from the scene.
Shifting from forepaw to forepaw, Cellen moved closer towards Nix and was about to plant a gentle kiss upon her maw until Rage toppled over. "You alright, Rage?" He gasped as he stumbled to get his footing. "Cael! Give her a hand mate!"
Practically leaping to his feet, the brown-purple hued wolf rushed towards her with an apathetic frown set upon his maw. It always pained him to see others, especially those close to him, hurt. Slinking onto his stomach as his tail hung low, a small soft whine escaped from his maw.
"You've more courage than anyone," he whispered as he brushed up against her. Pressing his muzzle against hers, he daintly graced her maw with a small lick of affection.
Meanwhile Cellen stood there with his orbs fixed upon both Cael and Rage. Just as he was to take a step forward, Nix buried her face into his tattered fur. His heart ached from facing such tumultious times yet to be with someone-- to share such a love with someone only reassured him that he could not, no, he would not be afraid to give up his life for anyone in the pack.
"Marra, marra, marra..." he warmly spoke as he nibbled upon her ear. "It will be 'right. You're not alone in this brawl and I'll stand by you all the way." Werewolf Phib stood still while the other male turn and ran, his green eyes seething. He knew better then to give chase- his leg was throbbing as it was, and he wasn’t even off the adrenaline high yet. All of it really didn’t make sense, and he hated it all the more for that. For all the other male had threatened- he’d still been too much of a coward to stop his fleeing. He wouldn’t give the other much consideration as far as respect went, even though he’d already done more damage to the group then any his other enemies in these woods. It angered him to have his wolves wounded by someone he did not respect.
With a low growl he turned away and slowly stalked across the shallow portions of the water. Rage’s voice caught his attention, and he almost walked past it. The old wolf turned and glanced at her from behind, but said nothing at first. It wasn’t in him to give praise to young female wolves who put themselves in danger. He did not want Rage to think that it was up to her to protect anyone. Perhaps it was his more chauvinist side- but he could find no logical reason why not.
“There’s nothing to be sorry for,” he spoke simply, and forced a slight amiable expression on his face. He wasn't mad at Rage- although he would have preffered if she hadn't gotten herself so close to being killed.
With that he somewhat came back out of himself, and snorted bitterly. “Someone make sure he’s gone.” He spoke in the direction of the other wolves collected.
By the time he turned back around- Amélie was standing there, and she was the last person he wanted to see. She was blocking his path and looking at him wide eyed- and he could feel her poking around in his head.
“Get out of my way.” he snapped bitterly at her. The grey female furrowed her brow and started to open her mouth- “I said to go!” He curtly spoke, and shoved past her. There wasn’t much the small female could do if he wanted to walk past her- which he did with a shove of his shoulders that caused her to involuntarily take a few steps backwards. She bristled somewhat agitatedly, and skirted off after him as he crossed back onto the beach and sat.
"I don't want to hear it woman-" He snapped.
She sputtered and pulled her head back. "No, no-! Why do we always have to be doing this! Always fighting!"
It was an old argument- and because of that, it mostly faded in comparsion to the others celebrating the victory.

.::.Let Go: Continued.::. DragonsRage24 Nix didn't hold the tears in or the pain she felt in her heart. She let them flow out of her, still curled and snuggled up against Cellen she was still afraid. She wasn't afraid of losing the battle, it was over. But she knew Croanyl would be back, she was afraid she was going to lose Rage, afraid that she found out the truth. Rage's scent led the two-leggers to their valley...but Croanyl led them close. Which meant...
"He killed them Cellen..." Nix spoke almost choking on her words. All this time she knew Rage probably blamed herself and no matter what would blame herself, but Croanyls et off the chain of events, "Because of him they're all gone...he did it....now...now he tried to take away Rage..."
Malik watched as anger built up inside him as Cael went next to Rage and licked her cheek. But when Phib spoke of making sure Croanyl was gone Malik bolted down teh beach with no words of retaliation. If Cellen adn Cael wanted to stay here, fine. Malik would possibly get recognition over them of doing what Phib asked. So along Malik went down teh beach. Following the scent and trail of blood of Croanyl.
Rage was still laying in the same place as before. Her heart ached and so did her body, but unlike Nix she held it in. She didn't want anyone to know how much she hurt, how her ribs hurt when she breathed deep. She knew Phib would be angry at her later. But she tired. That was the only thing she wanted. However she knew Croanyl would be back... but she wasn't sure what she could do then.
She watched Malik tear down teh beach after Phib spoke, she knew someday Malik would hold a high place in Phib's eyes. Malik seemed to be Phib's son...but things were off from the theory and she knew it.
She knew Cael was close and tried to wag her tail but couldn't even do that. 'If your strong you live if you weak you die...' thats what Croanyl had said before. Rage felt so tired, she wanted to sleep, but knew it was a bad idea. But when Phib seemed to argue with Amelie, she felt even worse, a pang in her heart that made her gasp for a breath. Her heart was still beating rapidly, she knew her heart was not well, she wondered if she had ever mentioned it to anyone here.
She should've...now it was hurting her.
Rage wanted to open her mouth to tell Phib adn Amelie to not fight, she didn't want them too. They shouldn't just because of what trouble she had caused. It was harder for her to breath now, and she felt so tired. She tried to reach out to Amelie, but couldn't, she didn't even have enough will power for that. She tried forcing herself to stand, everything got brighter, her head felt lighter. She couldn't breath but managed to whisper out what Croanyl had said, ''death...is only the beginning..." a faint smile on her maw she looked at Phib and fell over. Passing out on the ground. In her mind images played over and over. But her breath was shallow.
-----------------------------
Croanyl continued down the beach, limping all teh way. He could hear someone approach him from behind and turned to see Malik staring at him with wild red eyes. The wind blew harshly, and Croanyl could smell teh scent of an adversary, and grinned at Malik, "Something your way it comes... tell Phib that..." Malik went to rush forward but Croanyl bolted off, off of the territory and into the no man lan between pack areas.
Slowly he started back, wondering what Croanyl meant. RonsoStryder His cerulean orbs widened as he gritted his teeth, ears swiveling backwards as the choked words spoken by his mate mercilessly drove and tore at his heart. Her pains-- no, Nixs' and Rages' pains were brought upon by the dark wolf known as Croanyl, the same wolf whose fangs were quenching to drip with the very blood of the young wolfess who stood against him.
"Marra," he spoke in a hushed, soothing voice as a rumble emitted from his throat, "that manky bloke won't be tryin' to waltz a fight without having to deal with a mess of horlicks and the pack. He'll pay...he'll pay for the lives and blood he's spilt."
The punk wolf would see to it that, even if it meant sacrificing his own life, that no harm would ever, ever, come to his mate, the pack or Rage. Cellen's love could never cease nor even be fathomed (even by himself) for how much Nix meant to him and, for that, he would do anything he could.
Sea green eyes trailed as they watched the black male dart off, pusuing the menacing wolf whose intentions and plan had faultered for the moment. Cael never did understand why Malik hated him so much even when the feelings that Cael felt were nothing as close as hatred towards him...maybe a bit discomfort but never hatred. That emotion never was compatable with his caring, upbeat nature.
A small whine escaped from his maw as he nudged his muzzle against the side of her face. "Rage hang on..." Standing on the side and glancing about as everyone seemed in disarray and kindled with anger, Cael watched in horror as Rage collapsed onto the ground.
"RAGE!"
Stumbling towards her as his heart raced, fear surging through his veins and throughout his entire body, the young adolescent slunk onto his stomach and tenderly licked her.
"Rage...Rage! Get up! Come on! Don't...come on...Hang on..."
Small tears trailed down from his sea green eyes, coarsing down his face as he stayed near the young wolfess.
"Rage..." DragonsRage24 So dark. Everything was just so dark. Voices, voices were here too, but she couldn't respond, blackness around her. So cold. Where was she, why, why was this happening now? Getting brighter now, vague images forming before her eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness of this empty space where she was now resided. Her mind, all that was left that she could see or feel. She knew other's were around, but she couldn't respond, she didn't know how to tell them it would be alright. She wished she could speak.
Damn him. Damn him to hell.
'Giving up already?' spoke a voice. Calm as a figure approached. A white like, shaped in the familiar image of someone she once knew, 'I wouldn't think it would be this soon...I gave my life for you...your to live on my account sister...'
She could feel the tears beginning to form, but she was still. Chained to a darkened corner to two other figures beside her. One appearing as herself, but curled up, smaller, shyer. The other the direct reverse of her coloration, crimson red with the markings in black against the pelt. Two sides attached to one, yet not yet whole. Bound by chains to eachother, she couldn't let go. She couldn't get away.
'They want to see you...see you live Rage...give them that, give us that...we rest now and watch you, let us see a life you've made thats worth living sister...leave the pain of the past behind...'
Rage knew she couldn't leave the past and let it be as it was. Croanyl had almost killed her, was in part of her family's undoing. How could she live a worthy life for them, knowing that she had failed them right from the beginning?
Rage was afraid, the red self of her pulling on the chains snarling, wishing to be free, the other huddled up and shaking as a child cold and alone. Rage tried to speak but teh voice spoke agian, now the whiteness fading into black,
'You can get out sister...let them help you... just let go...' with that the image of her sister vanished. Rage alone in her mind again as the images tormented her eyes. Here she was isolated from others, alone and afraid. Her sister said they could help, but how could they if Rage couldn't even let them know she was alright besides the pain that she could live?
-------------------
Now withing the worl as Rage lay on her side her body trembled, within ehr mind she was pulling on the chains, trying to let go, to get out but she couldn't. Each side pulling on her, tearing her heart and soul apart. She needed to live, but was afraid of what she might become if she did indeed let go.
Her ears were against her skull as she trembled, murmuring to herself lowly, barely loud enough for any to hear, "C-can't get out....let me...lemme go..." Her tail wrapped around herself and then uncoiled. She wished to open her eyes again and see Cael, see Phib, see Nix and Cellen and Amelie. But she couldn't do it alone, her spirit had been broken this day, and she was trying hard to be strong again.
But she knew she couldn't do it alone. Werewolf Phib glowered at Amélie, giving his beloved mate a look that one might have reserved for an enemy. And yet- it was half strung between them. They did argue, and he was mad at her, but he wasn’t really mad at her. Things only became so complicated between them when the differences between their philosophies became apparent. The perfect world Amélie lived in- at least, what Phib had summed it up to be, existed only in the very brief microcosm between her deadened eyes and the end of her nose.
He loved her because of that belief. He liked to think someone could think so well of everyone. But it didn’t stop him from at the same time realizing it was all wishful thinking that amounted to nothing but fluff.
And Amélie knew that- she hadn’t needed to be a seer to see that. What she didn’t like was that he was so hypocritical about it. He liked what she thought, but at the same time, turned around and did the other thing almost in half spite. People probably didn’t know how much their opinions influenced him. She didn’t like that despite all of his stubborn pride and frugal thinking he was so easily controlled by what other people expected of him.
But her thoughts were distracted suddenly by Rage’s distraught ones, and she turned her head just in time to feel Rage’s consciousness drift away from her. It was so compulsive she felt for a moment it had to be connected, and a strangled gasp hushed from her throat.
Somewhat bitterly, Phib shot a glance towards the sudden crowding around Rage, and rose to his feet. His leg was throbbing miserably- but he made an attempt to ignore it as he walked towards the group. Cael suddenly started yelling about Rage- and that quickened his pace. RonsoStryder Flowing tears continued to trail from his sea green eyes while it felt impossible for the young adolescent to bear weight upon his paws. His whole composure, every inch of him, was trembling with uncertainty and fear of losing her-- of losing Rage. Slinking down onto his stomach, Cael winced as his heart felt as if it was being mercilessly torn apart, an imaginary invalid driving a sharpened stone into the depths of his chest.
"Rage," he whispered low, voice trailing softly as his ears flattened against his skull.
He turned aburptly as the black, scarred alpha, Phib, was approaching where he laid with the black wolfess. Cael's weary eyes drifted upwards to meet those of Phibs, a tiredsome yet worried expression drowning the light from his eyes.
"Will-- will she be alright?"
He didn't know.
Cael didn't know what to think or how the current situation would fair. Would fate deal him a pleasurable card this time or, like countless times before, would death prevail once again and take away another he loved so dearly?
The punk wolf stood there, his body pressed up against his mates as he rumbled deep in his throat and continuously nuzzled against her while sneaking an occasional kiss upon her muzzle. Like his mate, Cellen also remained unsure and quiet towards the situation. More than ever his mate, Nix, needed him and he was to make sure that she was given the attention and comfort that she needed.
"Everything will be 'right, Marra," he commented as he nipped on her ear. "Everything will be 'right." DragonsRage24 She was still dead to the world, as still as stone though the faint rising and falling from her ribs shoved she was still breathing, not well, but she was. Still caught between of how to let go Rage was stuck in an uncertain state of mind.
To let go and become whole. To let go and return to how she was. To let go of everything...and just disappear.
They'd all be better off without her wouldn't they? But Croanyl was still alive, he'd come back, she was sure of it. But what to do? What to say when she couldn't speak. She wanted to move but couldn't, she wanted to speak but didn't have the strength to, she wanted the pain to stop but it wouldn't cease so she tried to ignore it.
Rage's mind was fuzzy, blurred by slurred images overlapping, getting her confused. Was everyone alright? She wasn't sure. Dreams came into play, showing her alone, everyone gone, her standing alone among empty shells of those who were once beside her; Cael, Nix, Amelie, Phib, Cellen...they were all there amongst other's she didn't know.
Why was this happening?
She tried to breath deeply but almost choked, tasting her own blood on her lip, she knew she was hurt badly. Why not ignore it? But how could she if she couldn't move to walk it off like Phib seemed to have the knack for.
"Amelie..." Rage was stuck in her mind, she was crying, "I can't open my eyes....I can't move...Amelie what do I do? I don't want to be here...its so dark..."[/il} Rage was afraid and wanted to wake up.
Yet still couldn't.
She needed help. Werewolf Phib was no doctor-shaman. In fact, he was perhaps two thirds less then the average wolf might have been in that regards. He tended to self destruct more then heal, and as Cellen spoke, he somewhat flinched the end of his ear in response as he pulled to a stop over the fallen female. His face was flat and stoic, but the slightly faded look around the corners of his eyes and his brow seemed to hint a bit below the stoicism. “She’s breathing.” He commented simply, and drooped his head downwards to investigate her frail body for some sign of what had caused the fainting.
From behind him Amélie stumbled towards, the end of her tail nervously wagging and her ringed blue eyes shifting precariously. Even before Rage had spoke to her, she could feel that something was going on underneath this. A fainted mind was quiet- but her’s was bubbling about. It made the small female tilt her head and nervously whine and lick her nose.
But when her mind suddenly prickled at the thought being directed to her- she stopped the fidgeting, and flattened her ears. You have to wake up Rage-
Her voice was faint and soft; and somewhat different then her speaking voice, which was oftenly obscured with her own form of jargon. Everyone is alright. Everyone is worried about Rage. Cael is crying, and Phib is looking old.
A curious person might have wondered how she knew that. DragonsRage24 Something shifted in Rage's mind she felt colder, but something warmer was closer. Then a voice, and she smiled in her mind, it was Amelie. It broke Rage's heart that Cael was crying, Phib was concerned, she hated having other be upset because of her. She had to wake up, she had to."I'll try...just so hard...so dark..."
Her body shifted slightly, and her deafened ears began to pick up a few things, other voices, Nix, she was crying too. Why did everyone cry? Rage hated crying, crying pained her heart even more then it did on its own.
Her eyes flicked open once or twice, adjusting to the light, everything was really bright. And soon faded out. She could see Nix snuggled up against Cellen, and her heart lurched to the side, to see Nix in such pain. Another figure, Cael, he seemed sad too. Phib, he was looming over everything, everyone, and Rage forced a faint smile on her maw.
"I can't get up Amelie, can't talk...too tired...what do I do? Tell Cael not to cry, I don't want him or anyone to cry..." RonsoStryder The tears of the adolescent trailed down from his eyes and slowly ceased to fall. Such emotions within him were stirred and it pained him to see those he loved so dearly, those he was so close to, hurt and enduring great suffering. But he had to be strong for not only himself but for Rage as well. It did not good for her to see him cry and that was one thing the young wolfess didn't need while she was struggling to fight her own internal battle at the moment.
Cellen stood there, his body pressing against that of his mates as he turned towards her and buried his muzzle at the side of his head, rumbling softly and whispering sweet words into her ear. "Be strong for her, Marra, let your heart be strong for 'er."
Cael remained sunken upon his stomach, head nestled close to that of the black wolfess as he rumbled a soothing tone from deep in his chest. Sea green eyes helplessly stared at Rage and watching as she smiled faintly only made him smile and gently brush against her.
"We're here for you, Rage..."

.::.Plans Made: Nix/Rage-Nix/Cael.::. DragonsRage24 Hazel eyes wandered over the flowing blue before her eyes. The waves lapping against the shore gently, the water touching her paws so slightly it gave Rage a slight chill. A faint smile upon her maw, as she just stared out to the sea, as if calling out to something with her eyes instead of her voice.
Besdies her was Nix, ice blue eyes doing the same as her best friend's, but something was wrong. Nix knew it and didn't like it, how Rage was so quiet, how she had told her of nightmares she had experienced. Nix was nervous, she knew something was wrong today. Something bad was coming.
In one day so many things could go wrong, both females knew that all too well. In one day they lost their families, their home, they had even lost eachother for a period of time. Both starting anew as best as they could, but now...now they were together. But something was different, something was wrong.
"Nix...I need to ask you something..." Rage said trailing off. Glancing down at her reflection, seeing the red symbol upon her cheek, standing out against her black pelt, as if she was branded with blood. Rage loathed her symbols upon her, she felt like they were a curse, a disease, a sickness that would someday come to an end...possibly all too soon. Rage knew that.
Nix nodded in response to Rage's statment, something was coming, something bad. The wind had a slight chill to it. A faint scent of blood perhaps, but Nix tried to push that away. It couldn't happen again...could it?
"He's coming....he's coming here...I don't want you to be here. I want you to run away..." Rage said in a tone sounding like she was in a trance. Nix's eyes widened a bit with shock, her tail hung low, ears pressed against her skull.
"What're talking about? You don't think he's really..." Nix said referring to the gray wolf that she had feared ever since she heard the stories as a pup. Croanyl was his name, the wolf with the white eyes. But Rage nodded at Nix, and Nix's stomach sank. "Rage, I won't leave you...we both ran away before I'm not going to-"
"Nix, I know why you want to stay...but I don't want you hurt. You're the closest thing I have to blood family...please promise me...please..." Rage begged, turning to Nix with hazel eyes that showed a hint of sadness behind them.
What could Nix do but agree. But unknown to Rage, Nix made a plan, if she heard Rage yelp...or something didn't seem right. She'd come back, and with help.
"Nix, I also want you to keep Cael away...Phib and Amelie too...keep everyone away from the beach. Say he's in the forest..." Rage didn't want Cael to worry or be upset. But she also didn't want him to get hurt on her own accord. The same for Phib and Amelie. They were like surrogate parents in a way to Rage. And she wanted them safe, to be able to protect them. To make them proud. Rage knew Amelie could find her, so she'd have to work fast. Get him out of here, or at least try her hardest.
"Alright...I will...just be careful..." Nix said standing up and turning to start walking back into the forest. Rage smiled at Nix before she disappeared into the underbrush. "And Rage..." she said stopping, ice meeting hazel. Rage tilted her head in question, "Just remember....Let Go..." with that Nix was gone and Rage turned back to the ocean to gaze at it fondly one more time before the time was here.
Let go.
Rage remembered her mother telling her that as a child. Her sister and brother too...father as well. Rage still didn't understand what it meant. Perhaps it would come in handy someday, sometime. But for now it was time for her to try nad protect the ones she cared about. Time for her to stand and fight and not run away.
Her sister told her, that her survival would be her familiy's memorial. But only time would tell if that was true.
Turning from the ocean Rage started down the beach, back to where it had all started. Where Arguin had shown up. He'd be there, for some reason she just knew it. The wind blew off the waves that were beginning to crash down upon the shore. It was time. Maybe this time, she could make a difference.
--------------------------------------------
This wasn't right. Nix knew it. She had to find Cael, and Phib and Amelie and everyone. She couldn't leave Rage there alone. She'd get hurt or worse...no, she wouldn't be able to stand it.
So Nix tore off into the woods. She had to find Cael. Then Cael would find Cellen, everyone would find eachother. She had to hurry. RonsoStryder The days were toiling long and the heat was growing to be a bother that was both discomforting and irritating. Cellen never did like the heat and, being a wolf with a thick, burly coat, it never did help him much at all. Curled up underneath the small outcropping of rocks, the same cave where he and Nix had let their passions consume one another, the punk wolf slept.
Tattered, metal-ridden ears flickered as his muzzle scrunched up, bunching with wrinkles as his forepaws shifting slightly. "Re-Whut? No, don't-- STOP!"
His whole body jerked upwards, cerulenan orbs snapping open as his breath drew in heavy, fastidious pants. Disoriented and confused from the horrific dream that consumed his train of thought and even his actions, Cellen's paws shook underneath him, trembling as he gritted his teeth and tried to regain what composure he could.
The yelling only jostled and stirred the young adolescent, making his orbs flicker open and his head turn in the direction of the curly-tailed wolf. "Cell! What's the matter?" Stumbling up onto his paws, Cael staggered towards the punk wolf as his ears flattened against his skull. A low, sympathic whine escaped from his maw as he crept towards the older male.
"Another dream?"
"Yeah," the punk wolf mused with a low tone. Shaking his head side to side as his tapered, crimson streaked hair atop his head brushed over his right eye, Cellen supressed another shiver as he began to slowly pad towards the opening of the small hideaway.
"The same dream...just-- Well, you know, mate, it never stops. These haunting recollections never leave my soul at peace."
"You know what you have to do, Cellen," the young teenager spoke with a soft, soothing tone. "You have to find him before these dreams get the better of you, ya know?"
"I know, I know."
"Then let's start today."
"Now?" The punk wolf quirked an eye as his curled tail swayed hesitatnly behind him. "Why now?"
"Why not?"
"Well-- You see..I-Fine!" Slumping his shoulders slightly with a small snort, Cellen trailed outside as the younger male trotted behind him. Glancing back, he tilted his head slightly towards the side. "And how do we begin?"
"Where you last left off," Cael replied with a small grin. "You lead the way, okay?"
Furrowing his brows slightly as he took a few steps forwards, Cellen gritted his teeth slightly and sat himself down on his haunches. Where did he last leave off? Or-- where did he come from? What direction?
Why was this so hard?
"Lead..."
"Yes. Are we goin'?"
"......."
"Cellen? Where are we going?"
"....Er-- Wes-South? North?"
Shaking his head, Cael grimmaced as he glanced back at the older male. "You can't be serious! Come on! A big brute like you having no idea where to go?" As his tail swayed with a minute irritated manner, Cael huffed a deep breath and began padding out towards the edge of the breakers.
"We'll start here."
Nodding his head as his body seemed somewhat peterfied and grounded to the earth, Cellen slowly rose up upon all fours and began trailing after the young teenager. Was the search even worth it? What if he was-- dead?
"I'll find you-- Reno." DragonsRage24 Bolting forward and weaving between trees Nix ran as fast as she could. Cael would know what to do, wouldn't he? He and Rage seemed close...not as close as she was with Cellen but they were close. Perhaps they would be together like she was with Cellen. Nix felt horrible for leaving the den, and a sleeping Cellen behind. She knew he was having trouble sleeping, even if he didn't know she knew.
She'd wake up to see him in an expression she had never seen before. Eyes closed, sometimes saying words out loud, but she never asked him about it. She didn't know what they were about, or how else she could help besides curling around him and licking his ears and cheek affectionately, trying to lull him back to sleep. But she loved him, and would always love and care for him no matter what.
But she had to find Cael.
What Rage was doing was suicide. Going off alone to find that darkness? Insane. Purely insane. Surely she'd get hurt. And he would be coming soon. She had to find them. She was coming up to the den now. And she crawled up to the entrance, usually Cael was with Cellen...but they were both gone.
Just her luck. Peering down the beach she could see two figures, two shadows going off into the distance. But she was nervous. What if that was the darkness...here. She shivered.
Then stopped short completely.
Phib's howl...
Not good not good.
She had never heard him howl out before. And it was a warning, where was everyone? She didn't want to be alone. Her tail was tucked between her hind legs and her ears pressed back against her skull. She wanted to find Cael, Nix knew she had to, but now she was scared. She wanted to curl up and disappear. If she didn't move...she might...she might lose Rage.
Phib's howl was a call to the guards, that she knew. So Cellen must've gone to see Phib by now...maybe. But where would Cael go? Leaving the den she went onto the beach. The two figures gone. Her legs began to shake. SHe wanted Cellen beside her, protecting her.
She raised her muzzle to the air and howled out, in depseration, calling out to Cael. Telling him she needed him there. Needed his help.
She needed someone... RonsoStryder Before Cellen could even utter another word, before he could rebuttle and seize an opportunity to contest his emotions and thoughts, Phib's howl did not go unnoticed. With tattered, metal cladded ears pricking forwards and cerulean orbs widening, the head guard threw back his head and solaced back in haste.
This was the first time Phib had ever howled to call of a warning and, more than ever, Cellen had to be prompt and steadfast in aiding Phib in whatever danger was to creep and lurk within their borders of the packlands.
With his breath drawing heavy, the punk wolf shot a quick glance towards the adolescent with a troublesome expression. "Stay here, Cael! I gotta help Phib solves this mess of horlicks and you'd be best to stay away from it all, right?"
"I can help, Cellen. I--"
"Just stay here, mate!" The older male barked as he grimmaced slightly and began leaping in great strides. "It won't be long!"
Watching as the curly-tailed male dissapeared into the thickets and depths of the small trimming of forest, Cael snorted a sharp breath and thumped his tail in a displeased manner. He could help and he was just as strong as any other wolf but why did he have to be treated like a little kid? Cael wasn't the lost and confused pup he once was--no, he was different. Even Cellen had noticed that Cael's personality was becoming bolder and confidence was, slowly, building up within his blood. The once timid and scared pup was maturing into a newfound individual.
Furrowing his brows as he began padding away back towards the den, Cael stifled a small hackle. "When can I prove myself? Don't I deserve a chance, too?"
Hanging his head as he stumbled back towards their hideaway, another howl sounded but, this time, it was one from a wolfess.
Nix.
Shaking his head and glancing about, Cael let his soft sea green eyes roam until they settled upon the silver-grey female's figure that resided upon the beach. If Nix was here then...where was Rage? Raising a brow as his ears flickered, the brown-purple hued wolf began making hasteful strides towards the ocean front and the sand.
"Nix!" He called out with a yelp. "Are you alright? Where's Rage?" DragonsRage24 Nix saw Cael coming towards her and she stood up and basically threw herself at him as if thanking him for coming, "I need you help! We have to go find Phib now!" Her tail was hung low, not even wagging the lishgtest bit, her eyes were wide with fear and uncertainty, Rage had been gone too long now. Something had to be happening, they had to hurry.
"If we don't go find Phib she's going to get killed!!" Nix was speaking in hysterics, if something happened to Rage...she'd die. She'd just keel over nad die. Rage was basically her sister, the only one she had left from the valley. If teh darkness...if Croanyl really was here, adn she was alone with him, she'd get killed. She knew it in the pit of her stomach.
She nudged Cael with her head against his shoulder to push him in the direction he had heard Phib howl in, "If we don't tell him whats going on something bad will happen Cael...please...please help me..."
Nix knew Cael and Rage were close, adn the last thing she wanted was to suffer and have Cael suffer along with her too. She didn't know what she'd do if something ever happened to Cellen...she'd be lost without him. She started to turn and go in the direction Phib was in. Turning ehr head around to see if he'd follow and help her find him she tore down the beach. Time was of the essemce, and they had to move fast. RonsoStryder ((I'm gettin' back on track and we're gonna finish these! <3))
As he approached with his tongue hanging from out of his maw and his tail swaying behind him with a cautious manner, Cael was alarmed slightly when Nix threw herself at him with a dire sense of desperation and haste. His sea green eyes peered into those that were glazed with fear, wide and disoriented.
"Find Phib...Wait- Rage? Rage is in danger!" His ears swiveled back as his fur bristled slightly upon his back. He shifted his weight from his two forepaws, muscles becoming tense and rigid as he couldn't help but grit his fangs and grow low within the back of his throat.
Was there someone after her? Again?
He remembered the last time when the blue devilish wolf, Arguin, sought to take the black wolfess' life away and the pain of looking into the twisted grin of the older males was enough to make the once small pup savagely attack with all the strenght he could conjure. But now as an adolescent, he had grown and so had his emotions and strengths. Whoever or whatever was seeking to take the one he loved so dearly away would not escape nor see that the task would be so easy. Cael would either stop the fiend in his tracks or die trying.
Tenderly brushing against her as to soothe her fears that coarsed within her whole body, Cael rumbled softly. "Of course I'll help, Nix. But tell me...who is after Rage?"

.::.Destination Anywhere: Sora/ Pavati/ Kara.::. RonsoStryder Where was it?
Sora wrinkled his muzzle in mild frustration as his ears fell back, a slight huff emitting from his maw as he sat down upon his haunches. He was still new to the woods and navigation never was the same since he was separated from Riku. His tail thumped behind him while his cerulean orbs glanced around in all directions. This certainly was not the place where the ocean met the coastline. There was nothing but trees, trees and more trees. Where was the open coastline? Where was the smell of the salt that could pierce ones very nostrils? The surf? The sand?
Stifling a low whine that yearned to solace into a howl, the young adult furrowed his brows. "Okay, okay," he breathed with a more sense of composure as he began drawing a pathway in the sand with his claw. "I started at the begining of the woods, took a right like the kid said, followed the river and-"
Shaking his head and closing his eyes, Sora sighed, "I'm lost again."
Shifting his oddly patterened paws foreward, the young wolf slinked onto his stomach. His necklace softly clinked and jostled upon his neck but he didn't mind it much. All his mind could think about was how to get to his destination.
"Does anyone know where the ocean is?" He yelled, hoping that someone, something or anything was out there or could help him in his dilema. Flopping his paws over his eyes, Sora closed his eyes and awaited for any response.Kealdrana Sasaiuni Sora would have had to travel a very long way to have come where he was now. For this was Kara's packlands - far, far from any sea. How the lone became this lost, well, Pavati would have to ask it, but she didn't even know what an ocean was, so she was completely lost.
Not that it much mattered anyway, the small creature of Jori's brood was off exploring their territory, sniffing up things to do. She wasn't a trouble maker, and she stayed exactly where mother told her to, which was the case now, as well. She had no idea another wolf could find their way in this extremely well hidden place, but then again, not everyone had followed the river in here. It wasn't a nice journey in, or out, of the Packlands. You had to know exactly where to go, or the going was treacherous. Clifftops, raging waters, it made it almost impossible to leave or to come, but obviously not completely, for there was a new smell wafting not too far away.
Whether or not Pavati felt it threatening, it was often hard to tell. She was such a quiet pup, only speaking when necessary, and keeping most of her thoughts to herself. Only the seers knew what was going on in her mind, but she'd never met one for them to know. One thing was for sure, though, Pavati felt it her duty to go and investigate the situation. No doubt mother would want to know, as well as Thinks like Fire. It was quite boring round abouts, who could it hurt to say hello?
She trundled her way over to the wolf, who appeared to be talking to himself. Pavati hadn't met many, but she couldn't imagine it to be a very healthy practice. It was lost, apparently, from how it was wailing.
"Blue wolf doesn't even know what an ocean is," Pavati told him, using blue wolf as the name for herself. She was very blue, and in time she'd grow out of using anything but I, or we, but for now, in puphood, she sounded rather young with her speaking. "Why is Hairy Head looking for it?" Hairy Head was of course referring to Sora, for Pavati had no name for the wolf.RonsoStryder What was this? Footsteps? Just as his ears perked upwards, alert and certain that someone had heard his cry, a gentle and innocent voice broke through the silence. Withdrawling his paws from atop his eyes, Sora found himself looking into the emerald orbs of a young pup- a female pup to be correct. A warm, friendly smile drew across his maw as he could only hope that she could help him at least decifer how far away he was or where exactly he was for that matter.
"Hey there!" He greeted as his tail thumped merrily upon the ground. Since his travels he hadn't come upon many wolves and, perhaps, that beared testament as to how far off track he really was but he never did acknowledge that as a sign. "The ocean is like a big lake that surrounds part of the land. Do you know where the water touches the land?"
He'd hoped that perhaps an older wolf might have found him wallowing and could have easily directed him but this seemed like his only chance and the only person who was avaliable for assistance. For now, he have to settle with trying to speak in a manner so he wouldn't confuse the poor pup. But he was a type of wolf who adored puppies and hopefully some sort of magnatism could help he and the pup understand one another.
"I'm Sora," he smiled with a gesture towards himself with his paw. "Do you know where I am?" Somewhat forgetting his manners, the young wolf grinned and tilted his head slightly to the side, his necklace sliding in the same direction. "And who might you be?" Kealdrana Sasaiuni Pavati nodded as he began to explain the ocean to her, and she fed every little bit of it to her brain. She could catch bits and pieces, trying to make a vision out of it, but there wasn't much to could get ahold of. She had never seen such a large body of water, and so to imagine it was quite hard on her small, young brain. "We have lakes," Pavati said allowed, to try and help her and him at the same time. "Some surround all of the land. Big." She stretched out her whole body to try and show him. "Big." But that was all she knew. Her mother had never told her of the ocean, but perhaps Thinks Like Fire would no.
"Blue wolf is called, Pavati, by mother. . . " she was about to tell him what brother called her, but she held back, thinking that was a special thing that only her sibling could say to her. "Blue Wolf will call you Hairy Head. Sora is hard to say." That wasn't a lie, she had trouble with s's, and so she tried to avoid them at all costs.
"You are in River country," she beamed. She knew just where they were. Thinks Like Fire called it the beautiful middle of no where. It was called Safety to her. It was, most definately river country. "Did you get lost in the fog, many of us get lost in the fog." It was more appropriately, mist from the warm water's of the river and ground, but Pavati did not know this.
"But Thinks Like Fire knows places. She could tell you." Pavati wagged her tail with pride. RonsoStryder
"Yes," he nodded as his voice was soothing and calm, a friendly smile still settled upon his maw. "Big like lakes but surrounds part of the land." He was getting somewhere but he could tell that the young female really had no idea what the ocean was like.
"Really, really, big."
When she spoke her name, Sora nodded. "Pavati, nice to meet you." It wasn't until he was deemed the name of 'Hairy Head' that the young adult chuckled softly.
He had only met a few wolves who haid hair atop their heads and ever since he could remember he always stuck out from the crowd because of the tapered spikes that graced atop his head. "Hairy Head, sounds good to me," he grinned.
As the young pup continued to answer his questions, Sora glanced about. This was River country? He certainly didn't remember the old wolf telling him that he'd cross through any River country. Furrowing his brows as he tried to recount and recollect his steps, Sora nodded. "I got lost in the fog. It's hard to see around here," he replied as his confusion was moreso starting to make some bit of sense. From where the path diverged, Sora must have taken the wrong route which had cost him to set himself back and off course. Somehow he had winded up far, far away from his destination.
"Thinks Like Fire?" He replied as his ears perked up. "They can help me get to the ocean?" Countless thoughts were bombarding his every train of thought, the idea of finding the pack he was instructed to find help from made him beam an unbearable smile.
"Can you take me to them?"Kealdrana Sasaiuni
Pavati was confused as to why the other liked to repeat things. She got in on the first go, what she wasn't getting was exactly what it looked like. It didn't help to tell her the same thing over and over again, but she guessed the other couldn't help it. He told her he got lost in the fog. That was definately what she'd been thinking. It was the only thing that made sense. A feeling of stress washed over her, and she felt she needed to sit down. The ground was comforting beneath her weary body, she'd been adventuring a lot today.
She approved of him taking after her name. It was a good name, as were all her names, very fitting. It didn't make sense to be named some random slur of sounds, she could tell nothing of that. Heck, she couldn't even distinguish colors at her age, so every descriptive word given to her she soaked up like a giant blue 'ocean' spunge.
She nodded at him. That was the red ones name. "Yes." Pavati knew Kara could take him there, whether she wanted to or not was a different story. The red wolf tended to be a bit testy.
"I . . . can try," she whispered. "Blue Wolf doesn't know much about this place yet. Thinks Like Fire might be worried you are to steal Blue Wolf away. Best keep close, so she know's Pavati is not harmed by you." With that, she turned and stuck her nose to the ground, trying to sniff her way back to mother's cave. Even if mother was not there, Thinks Like Fire was babysitting them. Snoozing, last time she had checked, but that was okay, because she'd be back before Thinks Like Fire was ever awake, she hoped.RonsoStryder Sometimes describng things to puppies wasn't the easiest and Sora could decipher that he was repeatedly confusing poor Pavati. He had a hard time perfecting or going about how to word and make things easy for a younger audience to understand and this certainly was something he had to overcome.
His cerulean orbs became more brillant as he smiled from ear to ear, his tail wagging back and forth in an estatic motion. Perhaps this Thinks Like Fire could direct him to where he needed to go or, better yet, could lead him on the right path and out of the River country. Sora would be closer to meeting the one some call the Punk wolf and also to finding Riku as well.
"Okay," he nodded with attentiveness, noting the details and how to present himself once both he and Pavati had returned to where the older wolfess resided. Staggering upwards onto all fours, Sora stood there watching as the small female pup began re-tracing where the scents resided that would lead her in the direction of home once again. Standing as his mind continued to revel in the idea of the ocean and his lost friend, Riku, Sora could only fear that the nagging thought at the back of his mind wouldn't actually come true.
He knew he was in a different place and most likely packlands since small pups were lurking about but if he was thought a threat then-
"Let's just hope no ones out for blood," he whispered softly to himself, coaxing his worries that all would be well and the sooner he knew where to go and leave the better. Kealdrana Sasaiuni Pavati had no idea what Hairy Head meant by being out for blood, she'd never encountered such violence as a pup. All she knew was what mother and Kara told her. The two were often bickering amongst themselves so often they hardly had time to explain anything to brother or she, and therefore she was left in the dark. Consequently, she teneded to be as observant as possible, soaking up all the information necessary for a pup to grow strong and healthy. By no means was she alone, or unloved, however. The two woman were often giving her more love than she could take, but for now, the situation between the two of them was far too complex for her to understand, so she just ignored what didn't seem potent.
It wasn't very far to Kara, Pavati found. She hadn't wondered nearly the distance she thought, and the friendly, strong smell of Thinks Like Fire wafted up her nasal passage. She resisted the urge to bark a welcoming, if the fire wolf was tired and resting it would not be good to disturb her.
However, to Pavati's luck, she was not. Instead, the red had her nose stuck in the river, sneezing now and then. It looked to the blue wolf like Thinks Like Fire was trying to drown herself my snuffing up liquid. It was a strange thing to do, stick your nose in water. "T.L.K.?" she questioned, staying right next to Sora's side so as not to alarm the red.
Kara flicked her head up from what she was doing, cleary not enthralled with Pavati coming up behind her like that. Kara had always told the young wolf she was quiet, but the blue wolf had no idea what the red wolf had meant by it, so she had simply wagged her tail. "Who's that?" Kara questioned, snapping her head towards the one called Sora. Pavati was greatful she hadn't yet stood up. Kara was no small wolf. Not very muscled and tough, persay, but when she stood, Pavati was sure her head touched the sky. She'd found no wolf taller in all her years of life, though she had seen a few that were wider.
"Hairy Head," Pavati piped, coming to curl next to Kara. It had been a long day, and she was in need of a nap. She doubted the new wolf would mind. "So literal," the pup heard Kara chuckle.
"What is it you need?" Pavati's warm spot moved, and she released a little snuff of her own. Quite obviously Kara was standing, and Pavati hoped the other wolf wouldn't be too intimidated by her size. RonsoStryder Carefully trodding aside the pup, Sora's mind continued to be in a whirlwind of thoughts. He was optimistic, yes, but at the same time he couldn't help but question how this all was to work out.
For now, he was to trust in the small blue pup, Pavati, hoping that her family would be able to sort out his ordeal and help him be on his way.
Coming closer to where the river snaked through the forest, his cerulean eyes narrowed to where a red wolfess resided with her muzzle dipped into the depths of the river. He stood there, calm and collected as Kara set her gaze upon him and stood at full height. She wasn't as small as most wolfess and certainly held a stature that was somewhat intimidating and startling. But if he wanted to get some help, it would be in his best interest to show respect and chivalry.
"Could you please show me the right direction where I can find the coastline? I got lost in the fog and stumbled off course." A warm smile trailed upon his maw as his tail behind him wagged in a casual manner.
"I'm looking for a pack that lives by the ocean. Do you know of them?" Kealdrana Sasaiuni Pavati opened one eye to look at Sora. He didn’t seem in any state of shock. It was good, but it was also a disappointment. She enjoyed having others gawk at Kara’s size. It made her feel special to be an adopted daughter of the red when others gave such a response. All thoughts aside, a small wag came to her tail. The two seemed to be getting well enough along, and Kara was sure to help him.
Unfortunately, as far as Pavati knew, there was no pack on the ocean. Kara might know, but she had never heard the red speak of it. Though Pavati did notice the red was often out and about. Perhaps she visited this pack by the sea. Maybe they had an alliance against all the evil in the world and someday they’d fight a giant pack battle for justice, her brother leading them. Alas, the small blue wolf became so carried with her own thoughts she drifted into a dream, thinking up imaginary giant lake wolves with very thick locks of head hair.
Kara looked back to the sleeping pile of fluff. Jori was out doing other things, she wasn’t sure where, but it didn’t really matter. She couldn’t leave the two pups here alone while Jori was off. She had an obligation to protect her packlands. She could, however, tell him the direction out, it wouldn’t be too easy to get back in, and he didn’t seem a threat.
She simply gave him a nod and crept forwards a bit to get a good view of exactly where they were. Kara didn’t want to give him a wrong set of directions and make him end up some place far off course. “Out there,” she motioned with her head to a distant rumble and a thick cloud of rising mist. “Is the fast river. It flows all the way down to the edge of the packlands. If you follow it, there’s a small break. You’ll know it by the set of three rocks perfectly aligned from small to tall.” She sat down for a moment. It had been so long since she had traveled to the sea. She had never seen a wolf pack there, however. “From there, follow the setting sun. I wish you luck.” She shook her head, but still gave him a light tail wag, coming back to sit down next to Pavati. He was now officially nonexistent to her. If he had stayed, she might not have cared. RonsoStryder Watching as the red wolfess moved out a bit, Sora followed behind her and set his gaze to where Kara directed. His ears flickered as he listned to her directions, nodding his head as his silver necklace shifted and clinked softly. How he ever managed to stray far away from his set route was beyond his recollection but he'd have to make up for lost time. Though the long journey ahead did not seem like the easy way out, Sora would have to endure whatever would come his way and find his way to his destination once again.
Exhaling a small breath as he nodded his head, concluding and intaking every ounce of guidance that was offered to him, Sora pivoted back to face the one called Thinks Like Fire and the small blue pup, Pavati.
"Thanks for you help, Kara," he smiled as he glanced back tow where the thick clouds of mist were gathering and rising. Sweeping his head towards the right as his spiked locks of brown hair swept away from his eyes, Sora looked towards Pavati and grinned. "And thank you, Pavati."
Slowly turning around, the young wolf began trodding down the small pathway through the thick forests. He didn't know how long it would take him or what exactly he'd find along the way but if it was to guide him to the ocean or even to find his friend, Riku, he'd walk the path for as long as it would guide him.

.::.A New Family: Cellen/Nix.::. RonsoStryder Morning.
The soothing calls of the ocean surf washed upwards against the breakers and the silky sands of the beach. A light breeze, chilling and brisk with the morning air, rustled the branches of the surrounding trees outside and crept inside to where the two young adults resided, huddled and nestled against each other.
It had become a custom and a ritual ever since the night of passion and desire overtook him and his lover that Cellen had slept closest to the entrance of their small den and always kept his head in the slight direction of the opening only to be quick to bare fangs and arise to any challenge that may present itself. As Head Guard of the Outriders and an aid to the pack Alpha, Phib, the punk wolf held a stern and no tolerance whatsoever to those who sought to shed the innocent blood of others and bring about destruction to his pack and newfound homeland. Even with Nix being pregnant, Cellen would soon become even more protective and alert with having a family of his own to care for. Oh the joys of fatherhood! He'd teach them every trick in the book! And if there was a male- well, Cellen would have to make sure that he could pass down the old traditions through his son. Female or male, the punk wolf was estatic and thrilled!
As the chilling breeze wafted against his muzzle, the eyes of the tawny-earth toned male lazily flickered open. His metal ridden ears perked upwards just as a yawn escaped from his gaping maw, tongue lolling out from the side of his mouth in a non-coherent expression.
"Morning already? Feels like it's the afty," he mumbled as his curious orbs drifted to where his mate continued to soundly sleep. A warm smile trailed across his maw as he pulled himself across the ground with his forepaws ever so carefully and with stealth. "Marra," Cellen whispered with a broadening grin, "Marra." Pressing his forehead against hers and playfully nipping at her ears, the punk wolf wuffed softly as his curled tail behind him wagged with enthusiasm.
With no response Cellen chuckled softly to himself and slinked upwards onto his forepaws. If she wouldn't wake so easily perhaps he could coax her into awakening.
"Nix, love, what can I get you to eat this mornin'?" He commented as he began to grace her maw and her face with kisses. "I know you and the pups need your strength and all you need to do is say the word and I'll get it." DragonsRage24 The silver pelted female was dreaming. It was so confusing, so stressful. Aches and pains were in her stomach, then there were pups, pups everywhere and she was being over run by them. Cellen was there though, chasing after them all. He was smiling, playing, wagging his curled tail. She felt lost and unsure of what to do.
What could she do?
Rage knew about it, Nix told her the other day. Rage was surprised, yet happy for her. Nix honestly felt like Rage would find a mate and have a family before her, but it seemed to turn out abckwards then. Rage would watch Nix and her family prosper, while Rage would seem to be alone, dealing with the things in her head that haunted her so.
Nix rolled over, heard her name. She opened her eyes slowly, her stomach felt huge, she felt fat. She hated it, she wanted to be thin darn it! Why the fatness?!
"C-cellen?" she yawned, ears going forward, a smile on her maw. "Cellen love how're y-" she winced and closed her eyes, curled up. That hurt...why did it hurt so bad? Sometimes she felt the pups kick but,"Owww..." another one.
Her ears flattened against her skull, she whimpered and curled up, she started to pant,"Cellen it hurts...it hurts..." what was happening?
"Is it...time?" She started to shake from the pain and from being scared. She didn't know how to be a mother, she didnt know how to give birth. She had even heard stories of females dying while giving birth. She whined and whimpered, what could she do? RonsoStryder The same wide smile seemed to broaden even more as he drew his muzzle closer to her and nuzzled deep into her soft, silver pelt. It was more than likely that his lover would complain about being fat- Cellen knew that Nix hated feeling so huge yet there was something about a pregnant wolfess that drove him off the wall! His senses and passion scaled higher just by glancing at her! But it was so much more. Nix bore their family, his children, and they were about to have new arrivals.
His curly tail swept wildly behind him, forepaws slinking forwards as a soft wuff escaped his maw. "I thought you'd never get up. I-" he was interrupted as his mate curled up and winced with pain. Metal ridden ears perked upwards as his eyes grew wide.
It was time.
"Marra! It's time! The-the puppies! They're comin'!" Wrapping himself around her in hopes to soothe her fears and seduce her pain as best he could, the punk wolf nibbled on her right ear.
He'd been situations like this before and he'd been the cause of it too often. But he was experienced in how to assist and offer support and knew what a wolfess was suppose to do while giving birth. "Breath deep, Marra, breath deep," he whispered softly as he began to coax his mate to relax. The process would be rigorous but Cellen would stand by his mate the whole way through.
"You have to push, Marra, put in all your strength. I'm not gonna leave you," he continued with soft spoken words as he licked her.
"You can do it." DragonsRage24 She whined and a few tears streaked down her cheeks. It hurt, it hurt so bad she wanted to die. "Cellen...i-its hurts..." her mind was going over why her why her? Why did she have to receive such pain. Rage was supposed to be first not her! SO at least then Nix would know what to expect!
Nix tried breathing deep but she wriggled and whined and cried. She felt something coming and she cried and pressed herself against Cellen, she felt like she was going to die. "T-tell Rage..I-I'm sorry..." she thought she was giong to die. She didn't want Rage to think she didn't care.
Suddenly it hrut so bad she screamed and buried her head into Cellen's fur, and she felt somehting wet beneath ehr tail. She peered towards it and licked it clean. Bright red fur on a gray body, it was a boy. They ahd a son. SHe smiled then felt another wave of pain, another thing came, but easier this time, she cleaned that lump too, it was a girl, with streaked fur like her father.
She pushed both to her belly and laid her head down and she panted. SHe was exhausted, hungry and thirsty. "A son and....a daughter Cellen... our pups...ours..." RonsoStryder His body seemed to crave to be closer, to close the distance between them. The punk wolf continued to bombard his mate with kisses and deepening his muzzle into her pelt. He could never imagine how painful it was; such a process, even just by watching it happen, tugged on his heart and made him wish to take her place and endure the pain for her. Nature sometimes was cruel yet it was a process one had to endure if a couple hoped to have a family of their own.
"I'll tell her, Marra, I'll tell her," he replied as his curly tail wrapped around her. Emotions and tensions were rising within him and he could feel his heart being to race- feeling as if it would burst forth from his very chest! Cellen whined and pressed his head against hers, his ears ringing with Nix's scream as she delivered the first pup.
He glanced to the side and caught sight of a mass of grey. Their first child- no, their first son! A broad, warm smile trailed upon his maw as he dipped his head low and nuzzled underneath her chin. But that was not the only one. With feeling his mates body shift again, Cellen looked again and found another pup aside the small male. It was a female whose resemblance was strikingly like that of her fathers, Cellen.
"Our family," he smiled as he nestled his head against his mates. "A little brute and a princess," he chuckled softly as he playfully nipped at his mates ear. Rumbling softly as he thumped his tail merrily, Cellen pawed at his mates muzzle.
"Now what can I get you to eat, love?"
