I dreamt of falling from a high building and below me was not a pavement but ghastly white hands and a sea of blood and demons...

I don't remember then nitemare I had a little while ago, but I do know that I was having it, and I woke up. Then, I fell back asleep and I went RIGHT BACK INTO IT! It was horrible. I hate that so much.
Sometimes I have dreams where they might be nitemares, but then they might not be. I hate having ones where there are spiders crawling all over you. *shudder*

ive had a dream that i was in the forest and this thing withfoot long claws chased me to a cliff, slashed me acrost the stomache, and thru me off the cliff and when i hit the ground, i woke calmly with out any thing and i was not scared a all. then i yawned and went back to sleep with out a trace..... then i woke up and had waffles..mmmmmm waffles xp

Once, I was tossing and turning and mumbling things in my sleep so my wife woke me up.
This is what I dreamed:
It was a black and white landscape, of this I am sure. Sepia tinted and reminiscent of a German expressionist film - like Dr. Caligari or something.
A quaint carpathian village lay shuttered against the dark behind me, the windows hung thickly with bulbs of garlic on long ropes.
And then this coach pulled up, drawn by two blood-eyed brown horses, stinking and steaming with their heady pull from the twisted spires of a distant castle.
The lone driver, dressed in a dirty brown coat and wide-brimmed hat that covered most of his face. He beckoned for me to enter and I clutched the valise full of estate papers closer to my chest.
But just as I was about to enter the waiting coach, a sickening smell stopped me and I knew... I just knew...
"Hey! Wait a minute!! You're Count Chocula!" I cried as the sweet aroma of filled my nostrils.
"Get in! It doesn't matter who I am! I have as much right to Carfax Abbey as the next fellow!" said the driver in a thick Romanian accent.
"I won't! It's not for you!" I cried.
"You will face litigation for this... and worse!" cried the Count.
I swear to God this dream was making me sweat and shiver. Thank goodness my wife awoke me when she did!

I dont even know what the hell was going on in my brain when I dreamt this....
I'm in this huge dark house alone...there are no windows and the power goes out due to a rain storm outside...I go into a room where I know I can light a fire and I light one, not long after I fall asleep, but I wake up because I hear the sound of a violin somewhere in the house. I get up, light a candle for myself and leave the room to go find the violinist. The sounds of the violin get louder as I get closer, walking through the many corridors and rooms to find it, my boots making wierd echo sounds. I find the room where I'm almost sure the violin sounds must be coming from, and i walk in. The room is painted with blood, I can smell it, and shapless forms hang from the cieling like meat in a butcher shop...blood is soaking the floor. I extinguish the candle, leave it by the door, and walk into the room. I begin to come up on someone from behind and they are sharpening a cleaver. Slowly the man turns and says "hello...I knew you'd be coming..."
And I say "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
"Don't worry....it's not important." he has this wierd smile on his face. He snaps his fingers and the door closes from far away.
"Wha....what the hell are you doing! WHO ARE YOU!" I yell at him.
he comes at me with the cleaver and I run...I can't find anything to fight back with...I slip on the blood and grab one of the chains hanging from the cieling, but I still slide into a wall and dislocate my right arm. This is when I realize that the things hanging are bodies, and the man catches up to me and starts slashing at me with the cleaver. I kick the body infront of me and it hits him...I keep running. I don't stop untill I hear a muffled cry next to me and I turn to see my friend chained like the bodies to the cieling, still alive...with my good arm I unhook the chains and he falls to the ground.
"Fix my arm! It's dislocated and I can't fight without it!" I tell him.
"Ok" he says and he grabbs my arm and pulls it back into it's socket..I let out a yell from the pain...the man with the cleaver comes from behind me, slashes my friends neck, I scream, the man turns toward me and I keep screaming as he slashes at me and I back away frantically...he gets me into a corner and makes one last slash
that's when I wake up screaming....

I dreamt i was left on earth after the apocolypse, there was a burning home, a broken wagon, dead trees, no grass, everyone was dead. I just looked up in the sky and saw that everyone i knew was hanging by one tree, it was blacker then night and turned water into blood when it got close enough. i had it for a week,

I dunno what exactly you would call a nightmare.I haven't had one since I was 8.Probably because everything stopped scaring me so if I did have a nightmare I'd probably think of it as cool.

the worst dream i have ever had was:
We were at war with something, some entity-not quite sure what.
but the only way to destroy them was to destroy the sunlight coming to earth.
My family and i were running to a bunker or something and i turn around after a giant explosion to see trails of smoke leading off to space and then the sun exploded. the colors, the magnitude of colors, some that i have probably never seen before or will ever see. Then everything went black.
The thing that scared me was the feeling of dread. the "my god, what have we done" feeling. It felt like knowing that you were dieing and it would be slow and there was nothing to be done about it but wait.
