Adrian landed in his home, straightening his white suit before strolling off to the library.

Ulric came up the stairs, his oak staff in hand, and the embedded jewel still glowing, albeit faintly. he looked a bit depressed.

( Ah. biggrin That's the chorus from the song "attack of the Mole Men" by the Dickies. You won't find it on youtube, but it's a fun song. it's about mole men. and they attack. If you ever find the album "Dawn of The Dickies" it's there.)

Bella heard her master ascend the stairs. She rose up off of her bead and opened the door. "M-master Ulric?" Her voice was hesitant. "The... the vampires... they seem to have taken interest in the castle... one broke in earlier, but he's gone now..." She looked down, afraid to hear Ulric's response.

~Fortune When Star did not reply, Nicholas took a step back. He was carrying a Winchester under his cloak - if it became apparent that he was armed, things would only go badly for the mercenary. He had to think of a way to enter the mayor's home without attracting the attention of his conversation partner.

Ulric rushed to her door, "Vampires?! Did it bite you my apprentice?! If so, we must immediately search for the vampire to make the cure!" He looked frantically around, "Oh... I should have really stocked garlic...."

Star looked at Nicholas. "I live with my family." she said. "I have to go nice to meet you hope to see you around sometime." she said as she walked away. She enter her house and went to the library. Hmm what book should i read?

"No, master Ulric, he didn't bite me," she said. Her master seemed a bit more skittish than normal. "Are you alright, master Ulric?" she asked. "You aren't upset about the doctor, are you? Don't worry about him, master. The fools of the world don't deserve the worry of the great and powerful."

~Fortune Nicholas visibly relaxed once Star had decided to leave. But she had left quite suddenly, hadn't she? The mercenary didn't have time to ponder it at the moment, though. He slipped inside the mayor's home, locking the door, before heading up to his room and writing a long letter to the monks. That night, he slept with his sword leaning against his nightstand.

Ulric's eyes narrowed, "The doctor doesn't concern me now... Vampires are worse than some mad scientist. We need to be n our guard... I must buy garlic... My apprentice, could you help me by giving the skeletons orders to rebuild the others? I'd rather I had guards if there are vampires about..."

Star looked at the books in the library but couldn't choose one to read so she went to her room and decided to pick out what to were tomorrow night. She thought to herself, That man Nicholas is very weird and why would the mayor send him here unless it has something to do with the doctor and Ulric. Oh well. She lies down in her 'bed' and went to sleep.

Lilium sat on top of the hill and looked down at the town as the civilians slowly started to re-emerge from thier homes. "Oh? So now that the battles over, you think you're safe? Ha... ha! Humans are so funny." Lilium howled up at the sky and the few people who had ventured outside, quickly ran back into thier homes. "Hahaha! That's right, you'd better stay inside. Don't make me come down there!" Her laughter sounded like sharp, loud barks. Then for some reason, she felt like dancing. A full moon and a full stomach always made her jolly so she got onto her hind legs and did a little werewolf dance. It was very clumsy, since it's a known fact the werewolves can't dance.
