My notes are in a horrible disarray, I won't lie. I'v esort of lost the present thread. Let's see if I can't fix it up.
It wasn't a threat, I was just letting you know! Everyone has to run the same risk, because I want this to be moderately similar to the real world.

Connor sighed. "Damn that man. Let's find a hotel, Kurtis." He got back in. "Any preferences?"
There was a soft tinkle, and Xander found a small sphere rolling past his left foot.
"Fire in the hole," Tiki said with a slight smirk.

"I know just the place," Connor said with a smile.
Several hours later...
Connor emerged from the shower with a towel around his waist. His hair was still damp.
"Kurtis! Have you seen my labcoat? I need my PDA." He was interrupted by a knock at the door. Opening it, he found...
"Tiki?" he asked incredulously.
Standing in the door was none other than the masterful mercenary himself, Tiki Xero.
"Hey Doc," he said, his tone one of slight embarrassment. "How's it goin?" His clothes were in slight disarray and he had some still-forming bruises and just-clotting cuts. "Mind if I come in?"
"Good Lord man, what happened?" Connor asked as he helped his friend into the door.
"Well, Doc, you would never believe this," Tiki sat down with a sigh. "But there's something going on. I met this mercenary named Xander, and things got...a bit out of hand. It goes a little something like this..."

((Umm...the only ones going to South America are the military. We're all dispersing throughout the world. I just want the timestream to stay mostly intact.))

((Not sure I ever mentioned it. But it's fine. Give the others a few more days, then I'll just have to puppeteer the timeline a bit and it'll be fine. I'd prefer not to, but...eh.))
