This year's show, phantom of the opera. We got most entertaining show at the last competition we went to! It made for some pretty intense rehearsals. sweatdrop
But I miss having something to do with band every day of the week except wednesday and sunday. crying

Oh and our show is based off of Santa Clara Vanguard marching Drum Corps '89. Our music is a complete transposition of their show. We also managed to get the professional drill writer of the Cavaliers(same guy who helped write the highest performing show of all time) to write our show. eek I'm glad we were very fortunate in having a great show this year.

Look for the tallest tenor sax. That's me. 3nodding

Edit: We also got to wear some pimpin' phantom masks along with our shakos. xd

Our show was challenging, but it was fun and I really enjoyed going to competitions and watching the other bands. I also feel that all the other bands I have met put the same amount of work if not more into their show than my band. I've met some really great people from other bands, too.

This was our show from last year (my freshman year as a tuba). we placed second in louisiana's showcase, with a gifted arts school taking first.

And this is this year's show which we placed 3rd, with an extremely good marching band program beating us. If you notice, we have an altered movement of the cavies spin cycle show(2nd movement for us) I got to march first trumpet this year (seeing as it's my main instrument)
