Slipping into the driver's seat, KB shut the door, a bit harder than usual. It was only a matter of moments after that before the car had torn up some dirt on the road and was speeding along. It seemed KB was in a bit of a rush to get to the BC, given the fact that the speedometer kept climbing. Though, the thing might be broken anyhow...
It didn't matter much, they were going 80kph at the very least, just the way he liked it. He was sick of sleeping on the side of the road, even after just one night. And so it was that they would pass from the country-road and into the BC region. KB only hoped they found the person who'd hurt Kobei so he could run them over.

A beach...
So cold and desolate, lonely and forgotten. This stretch of sandy paradise ignored by everyone in the world.
Waves crash against each other, spraying sea mist into Jim's face. It was quiet, save the sounds of thundering water, and something in the air made him feel...content.
The soft caress on the face of a hard, war beaten, man. Like a woman's touch, forever longed for and once aquired impossible to hold onto. It slipped through the fingers, gone yet never forgotten.
Never forget, never.
No, never forget. War and tormoil built behind the eyes of a dieing man, forever to live and die.
He really had to stop trying to write this god awful stuff! Shouldering his spear, Jim started towards the forest line. Big boots left indentions in the soft, dark, sand as he walked. He needed something to occupy his time, needed a drink, and for god's sake he needed to get laid! His stomach churned and he cursed his own stupidity. Getting laid could wait, he needed some food first. Maybe Bowe had found something to munch on. A deer or, at very least, a rabbit!

As Kobei was riding in the back seat, she rummaged through some of the so-called junk.
Suprising to her, things were differently sorted around, and there was more room in the back seat. As she felt around, two things caught her attention.
They were both oval in shape, almost like amulets you would wear. One had a crack through it, and one seemed rough to texture.
"No... It couldn't..." she mumbled to herself, and tossed the amulet-shaped things aside. She kept rummaging, actually making a more mess of things, and found one more thing, of great importance. Kobei started to chuckle, and tossed the pendant up and down in the air, catching it every time with her left hand.
"Son-of-a-b***h forgot em."

A black shape came into view, gliding towards the car. KB was a bit anxious about it, unsure as to whether or not the thing would clear the car in time. Though, just as KB expected to have a new hood ornament, the crow managed to swoop past unharmed. Letting out a pent-up breath, KB let his eyes drift to the mirror and lock onto the bird. The thing had landed on the side of the road, and was picking at something in the dirt.
Kobei, driving, the road - All of it seemed to be gone. His attention was entirely on the black shape that was shrinking into the distance. The care continued forwards, coming closer towards a bend. Shaking his head as the bird left his view, he looked up to spot the coming corner. A small one, something he handled with ease, a gentle curve into a forest of much more density than before.
The place seemed familiar, as if KB had been there many times before. The trees nearly seemed to be alive, which was silly really. For some odd reason though, KB couldn't help but think of arson when he was in the forest, even as the car started to plow over some of the smaller underbrush. The road was familiar, and up ahead he could see a large clearing...
((Eh? KB and Kobei are finnaly at the BC now. Just resume at the DOJO crater. Gwarharhar!))

Kobei noticed the bird as well. Akward.
Holdong the pendant in her hand, she tuned it over.
-Made in China.-
stressed Kobei tossed it aside, and kept rummaging. The other two amulets however were the real thing. It seems Morrigan tried to make copies of her original Imari Pendant. She had already found Lily's blades.
Kobei only remembered Lilith, Morrigan, and Minase had them. However, the one Kobei had that belonged to Lily was broken, as it saved her son's life.

**REALM OF DREAMS**
Above a lake glowing the color of molten gold, five spires rose into the sky, which hung in perpetual sunset. The grand castle seemed to be made of opaque blue crystal. There were no bricks nor cracks that indicated the building had been put together. Instead, it seemed as if the enormous castle had been carved from a single, gigantic sapphire. The grand gates swung open into a courtyard of verdant grass and trees, with another door leading into the foyer of the castle. Various other doors opened to the sides to various other quarters the casual viewer could only imagine. Inside the foyer, decorations stood around, arranged with artistic majesty. Glowing sigils upon the walls provided light within the castle and reflected upon the blue crystal walls, giving much of the inside a blue glow. In one corner stood a fireplace, where a fire crackled happily. Rugs lined the floor and a grand piano sat in the corner. Couches and other chairs, which looked exceedingly comfortable, were arranged arouond the room to allow visitors to sit in comfort waiting for an audience with the lord within.
There was no lord occupying the castle now. The Dream-King who once ruled here was long gone. However, his estate showed no signs of decay or age. The grass was well trimmed, the larder stocked, and the fire alive. Erudemasa, looking at the inside of the foyer, took a bite of the apple he'd snatched on the way here and commented, "Well, this guy certainly knew how to live in style."

**REALM OF DREAMS**
-_-; Indeed, though I personally find it much too cheery for my tastes. Now...*She flipped her long crimson hair back* What seems to be the problem? I'd have no problem whatsoever in removing his soul, so what's wrong with your parts of the plan?

*Realm of Dreams*
The problem is that we have to prepare. You should too because once the old codgers soul is out of the boys head, you're the only one that can handle it without a special container. Neither of us can do much with it unless you prepare a special encasement for it or something similar. I myself would also like to have the required spells readied in advance to assure the quickest alteration of reality and the present as possible.
*Kyiana nodded then looked to Erudemesa.*
And what is your problem? Same as mine I would guess?

Erudemasa was now seated at the piano, a surprisingly contemplative look on his face. Not that he was facing his companions, but they could doubtless tell. "Yeah, pretty much. I can't handle raw Soulstuff, which makes taking the soul for disposal to the past a bit difficult. We need to find something that'd be able to contain D+'s soul for the two of us to act with it. Probably some form of reliquary would be best. Problem is finding something high enough quality to hold Old D in without him potentially breaking out of it." Turning to his companions, he asked "Hey, either of you mind if I play a bit?" Without waiting for a responce, Erudemasa lightly touched the keys, testing the tuning of the piano and the condition. As expected. it was in fine working order.

*RoD* *Sundel shook her head, as she hadn't thought of this* We could always get ourselves an empty vessel for his soul....the only problem with that, is that we'd have to keep it restrained entirely. I for one have no idea where we're going to get a suitable container for this job. *Sundel narrowed her eyes when Erudemasa asked about the piano, not understanding how he could possibly be so cheerful*

*RoD* *With a short laugh, Kyiana shook her head.*
A clone. A body identical, but with no mind or soul. A perfect empty vessel, emulating the body that the old b*****d resides in now. Restraining him will be of little concern. Each of us has the ability to do that easily I'm sure. I can make the empty clone if you so require me to.

Erudemasa sat back and nodded. The piano was in tune and all was well. Well, all would be well if only Kyiana considered one thing "And after we put him into this clone of his, what then? What will D+ do once we've given him a body of his own? Believe it or not, he is immensely powerful and could complicate things further. Anything we create can be used by him, as he has shown himself able to slip from our masters' grasps. No, what we need is something of this world. Something aligned with another force, one which Old D might have more trouble escaping. I have a few locations in mind and people to ask to requisition an item. A body of flesh is out of the question. What we need is a reliquary to store the soul, immobile and defenseless in for when we need it. High quality art and materials ought to work. Pity it needs to be physical, otherwise music would be ideal to hold him in.
Stretching his arms, Erudemasa lay his hands upon the keyboard. Three slow notes from an instrument not of the piano (a percussion instrument similar to a woodblock, actually) rang through the hall. They repeated themselves three more times before Erudemasa hit a single key. This echoed in the hall for a moment before he continued, now immersed in the music. If his companions were watching, they could see the scarf reacting both to the music he played as well as to the phantom music.
((Note: Eru's currently playing the beginning of Robert Miles' Children (Dream MiX) if anyone's curious what I'm trying to describe here.))

*RoD* *Sundel turned her head, looking at Erudemasa playing the piano* ...Fan of music, are we? Hmph...*Her mind immediately went back to the task at hand* So do either of you have any idea where we can get such an object? Or will we have to go on a hunt?

You think that I hadnt thought of that, Erudemesa? There would of course be certain precautions taken in the making of the body to keep the old man from doing anything rash. True, he might be able to gain a certain, limited, amount of control over the body, but to access his undoubtedly vast resevoirs of power would destroy the body and him with it. Doing that would of course kill him, making it even easier for Sundel here to take the soul and pass along to us. That is, if he doesnt realize that the body cant handle his power if he were to try and break away from us.
*She nodded, satisfied with her idea, but then looked at Erudemesa again and tilted her head.*
Unless you insist on finding this other means that you speak of. Either way is fine by me really, so long as it works.

A guitar joined the music already playing through the room. Erudemasa now had his eyes closed as he played. Without missing a beat, however, he raised one hand and snapped. A portalof shifting images and shapes appeared. Images of times and places far removed from this flashed by rapidly as Erudemasa continued to play. Before addressing Kyiana's comments, he turned his attention to Sundel's. "Of course. Aren't you? Music is something transcendant. After all, life and everything involved in it is nothing more than a highly complecated dance of forces and object. And where there is dancing, there is music. And where there is music, there are musicians. The world turns, I play the music life composes, time goes on. Music is perhaps one of the most powerful mediums in creation. It permeates everything at all times. It can direct, change, explain, and obfuscate the truths of the universe all at the same time. How can ones such as ourselves, so tightly bound to the forces of the universe, not like music? Go to any timeline. Any single one, even those where the universe has cooled to nothingness and still the music of its former existance lingers. That, my compatriot, is power. That is transcendance. When nothing is left, the music of the past remains."
The scarf Erudemasa wore continued to pulse with each note of music, both those Erudemasa played and those which seemed to come from nowhere. The portal conjured by Erudemasa dis similarly, constantly shifting images from one scene to the next. As the tempo began to increase, images shifted faster before settling on one. A great being rose from a shattered body while Kyiana and Sundel stood nearby, along with several others who were indistinct. "You are arrogant, Kyiana. True, we would take measures to prevent D+ from taking advantage of his newfound separation and situation. On his own, he might not be able to break it, but what of those around him? Despite what you may think, those we faced are no pushovers. While they might not be able to face us, if they disrupt the spell, Old D is free to walk the world as an immortal mortal once again. That'd be the complete failure of everything we tried to do. Sunny can probably speak to how difficult it would be to deal with D+ should he have full access to himself once again. It is best to simply appropriate something like I said to use as a base. The binding would be stronger and even if it was disrupted, he wouldn't have an actual body to go into, allowing Sundel to target him easily again."
"There are several places we can find an object like this and several beings who would doubtless find something." The music continued and the image in the portal shifted, showing scenes of both the Citadel and of Xol's sanctuary. "There are doubtless other places to look and other beings to ask, but these two locations both seem to have exactly what we might need."
