"Gotcha," she said a little more weakly, feeling the auras of numerous vampires. "Wow," she said nervously, "there sure are a lot of them, huh." She blushed and crossed her arms. "I'm not afraid though, so you don't have to worry about me."

"Vandle pulled her close to him and walked swiftly. "To many vampires, you are staying with me the whole time. The dressing room in the shop's are safe for you."

She blushed at his closeness, trying to clear her head. "Ok...I can live with that." She spoke quietly, trying not to cause attention to herself. "Let's just get into a shop before I lose my cool..."

"What do you mean "lose your cool"? Slang or something?" New to the teenage language Vandle was. He was old.

She had to laugh. "The auras of the other vampires are making me a bit jumpy. Nervous....you know." She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "The sooner we get to a shop, the better.."

"Your not claustrophobic, are you? I am holding you slightly closer than mandatory. If anything is mandatory at all, really in this world. There are no adults, so there are not really many rules. Do not ask why there are no adults, it is one of those things you automatically get when you enter this area."

She frowned. "That sounds so sad..." She thought back to her grandmother and missing her so. It's been so long since she visited her grave. She blushed, but kept her sad facade. "It's ok, you don't have to hold me so close. It's not that I'm scared. It's just sufficating. Maybe I'm claustrophobic when it comes to auras..."

She smiled. "So, I guess you can't read my mind as well as you thought! That's a little trick of my own." She followed his slow steps, staying behind him as if she was his shadow. "See, Shaman have to keep their minds as clear as possible for ghosts to communicate with us." She giggled this time, keeping her voice as low as possible. "And if your wondering, I was thinking how nice it is to be walking with you..."

She gave a small smile at his last comment, then thought back to the sadness she felt. "My....my grandmother died about a year ago. She taught me everything I know and she was all I had..." She trailed back, swallowing the lump in her throat. "That's how I ended up on the streets. People are ruthless out there." She whispered her last comment, touching a scar on her forearm....

Vandle chuckled and pointed out stores. All sold either dark black clothing or redish clothing. "Which store do you want to go to?"

She pointed at the closest store. "How about that one? I only where black anyways. I wouldn't want to break the habit." She pushed him along, still keeping behind him.
