kcsb91 Kai tensed, smelling the vampire. He whirled, hissing as he pulled his gun. Kai seethed. "You should know it's not nice to lie." Kai stated coldly, his gun leveled at Rem. "I wouldn't move if I were you... I had this gun specially made during the Blood Wars." he allowed a small evil smile. "So it would be in your best interest to stay very, very still." The light from the candy store threw Kai's lengthened the shadow starkly across the sidewalk. ((Oh My. Calm down, Miss Assassin. or I'll be forced to escort you to hell.)) "You are sure that you got all the information that you needed for this termination, right?" Rem waited for answer, while twirling a poison-dipped crowbar around in circles.Hinata disappeared around the corner and up to the roof of a nearby building. She watched the scene with curiosity, unaware of what they were saying.

"If it threatens the family it matters not what all the facts are." Kai stated flatly, his gun leveled at Rem's heart. "I've never really trusted you. But the Mistress commanded it, so I left it at that... But if you so much as move one toe out of line from here on out. I'll be waiting with a clip full of UV hollow tips to make sure it's the last move you ever make."

"Betray you? Well, if she doesn't trust you enough to tell you the whole story, then i don't think that i should either." Rem looked at the gun that was pointing at his heart. "After so long, you should know that an elven gun is the last thing that i'll die from. In fact, I believe that you're being targeted at the moment and if you don't move quickly, you'll be shot down." A bullet flew past Kai's head, as if to confirm what Rem just said.
"Why do I have to do this, when I'm not even involved?" Hinata sighed and aimed her sniper rifle at Rem's head. Oh yeah. It's because i'm being paid as a mercenary, even though i'm one of the royal families.

(Calm thyself Skie, it's all part of the act for the elf ^^ Sort of like Mafia politics. By saying your a bounty hunter, he makes it seem much dirtier than it really was, saying assasin would make it seem sophisticaed. Keeping him in the dark about who exactly the killer was/is is part of the Mafia Politics. Gives him a reason to continue what he's doing and not fear the so called 'immoral and honorless' 'Bounty Hunter' ^^ XP))
Krillion escorted his son away from the door, using his private elevator to get to the Royal Family's personal chambers "Now Taratheil, you understand?" he asked, after explaining it all as thoroughly as possible, while leaving out a few things here and there.
The elf nodded, his face still pale from earlier. It could have been me was his only thought.
Krillion led his son to his chambers, leaving him at his door and heading back to his office, wanting to clean up the 'mess' properly before anyone got wind of it early.

The elf nodded, his face still pale from earlier. It could have been me was his only thought. Krillion led his son to his chambers, leaving him at his door and heading back to his office, wanting to clean up the 'mess' properly before anyone got wind of it early. ((Is there something else going on in that family we need to know about? 0_o)) Kai didn't flinched as the bullet passed, but instead continued his conversation with Rem. "If you believe tht to be true then here..." Kai tosed him his other gun. "Shoot me now." Kai opened his arms wide. "Because if it's true then my services to the family are no longer needed and I might as well die now."

Rem caught the gun, but did nothing with it."There's no need to use this. Your life is still in the Mistress's hands. Or would you like to break that vow, now? Ask her why I'm in the rebellion, and if she doesn't give you an answer, then kill yourself with it." He shot the gun, that remained in Kai's hand, and fled. Rem took out a cell phone, once he was far enough, and dialed a familiar number.
"Are my services no longer needed, Rembrandt? Then I shall do as i wish." Hinata hung up and walked over to where Kai was.

Kai watched the vampire leave and then picked up his gun. "I know what I need to know..." he said, holstering his gun as he felt someone approach. "It's not nice to follow people." he said without looking over his shoulder.

"Went off to suck on garlic head I hope." Kai said rolling his shoulders as he put away his weapons. He still didn't trust the vampire, but he trusted his mistress enough to let him live for now. But he was going to find out what all this was really about.
