"Ohhhh! I probably should have known that," she said, laughing. "I guess since I look like this all the time I don't really notice anymore." She glanced into one of the rooms at a clock on the wall and winced. "I'd love to talk more, but I'm really really really late. Sorry to make you hit your head bye!"

The last few words were said in a rush as she shot down the hall. A few minutes later she'd found the office marked "Headmaster" and knocked on the door.

Ali opened the door upon hearing the invitation and went inside, remembering to put her feet on the ground this time.

"Hi, I'm really sorry that I'm late. We had a little problem flying over this one territory. I think they thought we were going to eat their cows or something because they started shooting arrows at us. It was really annoying," she said sheepishly.

Kogi spun around in his chair and looked at the new girl for a moment then smiled kindly. "That's alright. Things happen right?. well since your late I guess I'll have too go throught the rules for you. Their basically just common sense. no magic or fighting without a teacher's supervision, no guys in the girls dorms or girls in the guys dorms, what else was their... that was about it, everything else is just common sense really" He opened up a draw and pulled out some papers. "map of the school and grounds. schedule, that sorta stuff. No classes today so take this as a chance too make a few friends, get used too your surroundings, and get unpacked" kogi said.

Dimitri sat in the same place. Just picking at notes, trying too come up with a song too work on.

"Wow, that's a relief. I was afraid that I'd missed some classes or something! Thanks a lot!" Ali smiled, took the papers the headmaster handed to her and left the office.

Now that she wasn't in a rush, she pulled out the map and headed for the girls' dorm. She didn't want to carry her unwieldy bag around everywhere so when she go there, she found an empty room all the way at the end, number thirty, and put her things into it.

"...I like that girl" Kogi muttered after Ali closed his door. He returned too his work.

Dimtri couldn't think of a song too play so he decided too work on his song. He took out a pad of paper and a pencil and started writing occasionally playing a few notes or erasing some words. He mouthed the words tapping a finger too the beat he wanted.

Nex rased her eye brow. "Nice fangs, girl." She nodded and smiled. "Shall we trudge on with the show around?" She asked.

Giving a wide grin, Pat chuckled heartily in response. "Thanks." Forcing her smile down somewhat, she moved forward and held the door for Nex. "We shall." Nex wasn't the only one who could be chivalrous.

Ali unpacked quickly; she didn't have too many belongings other than a few changes of clothes. Keeping in mind that people walked around here, not flew, she headed out of the dorm and started exploring the school, wandering through the halls and peering into rooms.

Gerger was waiting for students to hurry to his class. If they came now, they would be late. Only three students came in on time for the class. Tomha was one of them. "I wonder if this joker will really teach this class. I remember him from my old school." Tomha thought sighing boredly.

Nex bowed her head a little. "Very much welcome'd." She said walking through the door that Pat held open form her. She waited for Pat and then started for the library.

Ankh sighed wonder what to do now. The day seemed to lang for her. Taking a deep breath she waved her hand around. Butterflies started to appear in many different colors and sizes. She smiled as she stopped and watch them flutter around.

Pat released the door and walked along with Nex to the library. As they moved through the school, Pat's gaze scanned the area with each step. It was an old habit, yes, but it was always better to be familiar with your environment in order to adapt better.

Ali's wanderings led her to yet another nondescript hallway except this one had the distinction of having a door marked "Library" in it. She made a beeline for that door, thinking happily of being in a room with as many books as she could get her hands on.

Dragon villages, because of their isolation from the rest of the world, tended to be short on new literature, so she looked forward to catching up on what she had been missing. She was so focused on getting there, she didn't even notice anything or anyone around her.
