Kat looked up at the new girl that Conner had just invited over to sit with us, she let out a small giggle, after wondering how many people Conner wanted to squeeze into the tiny booth that everyone was sitting at. "Hi, I'm Kat, and this is my dog, Mouse." She gestured to Mouse with her hand and then looked at the girl. She looked nice. Kat looked at Conner to find he was gazing at Eliza again, she almost giggled, but, then remembered what Eliza had done last time she giggled at the two of them, and refrained. "So, what classes do you guys have?"

((Yeah, it's kind of an ice cream parlor/cafe type place in town. We're all jammed into a little booth together.))
Margret smiled a bit and shook her head. "No, I'm sorry I can't help."Her voice lilted with an even stronger English accent when she was nervous like she was now, but even when she wasn't, it was still obvious that she wasn't fully American. "When I got unpacked, I still had plenty of time before orientation, so I started writing a letter to my family. By the time I was finished and knew what time it was, I'm afraid I completely missed the orientation."
She then turned to look at the other girl with a smile. "Pleasure to meet you, Kat." She then looked at the cute little chihuahua. "And it's a pleasure to meet you as well, Mouse." She thought about it for a moment, then began to giggle. "Forgive me. It's just... A 'cat' owns a dog named Mouse? I must say, it seems as though you have an interesting sense of humor."

Eliza let out a hearty laugh. "I'd never thought of it like that. Katie, you have the whole food chain in one little puppy!" She scratched her head and her laugh faded. "Well, I'll ask Stephanie tonight, and I can let you guys know, at least about football and cheerleading. Key Club is always on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the second week [[OoC as are all other clubs, just to let you all know]] of school." Eliza pulled out her phone which had been vibrating, signaling a text message from Toni, her best friend from school last year. She had graduated, but they still remain as close as ever. Hey, how's school? Eliza smiled and typed out a quick response. YAWN. Orientation put me to sleep. Hangin At Walkers. We Should meet up some weekend here! She searched through the names in her address book and came across one that startled her a bit. Riley O'Conner. She looked up at him and grinned. "I still have your cell number." She sent her text as planned, then slipped the phone back in her pocket.

Kat giggled, she never thought about it that way either. "Well, my name is Kathryne, or Katie, too!" She started giggleing more and sipped her drink. "Funny, huh Mousey?" She patted her dogs head and he licked her hand. Kat made a face and used a napkin to wipe her hand off. She looked up at all of them and wondered what they looked like to the other people in the place. All different kinds of people sitting here, smashed in this booth, mostly thanks to Conner. She giggled a bit more.

Connor's eyebrows simultaneously rose in surprise. "Really?" Tilting his head, he retrieved his own cell phone to see if he still had hers. His phone was relatively old; it had a low-quality camera, a bulky flip-type frame, and it had just recently gained a non-midi ringtone. As he flipped through his contacts, it occured to him that the sight was probably rather funny. With Connor's big hands, he struggled to press the small buttons with his large thumbs. Coming upon Eliza's name, a smile lit his face once again. "Sweet. I still got yours too."

Artemis was sitting there, she sighed. "Yikes. I have to go unpack something real important, okay. See you guys later. Bye!" she smiled at them as she slipped out of the both and out the door. She walked to her dorm room and unpacked her cd's and other things. She needed to find a place where she could rest, like a nap. When Artemis was done unpacking she rolled up into a ball and took a nap.

"Ok, bye..." Kat sighed as Arte ran off before she heard her say bye. Oh well, she thought, she will see her at the dorm. She looked down at her drink which was now empty, and sighed again. Kat then looked up at all her friends, and then got up to get some more of her drink. She smiled at Mrs. Walker and asked for more to drink, Kat tipped her as always, though Mrs. Walker objected every time.

Adrian watched as a girl, Artemis if she recalled correctly, rushed out of the booth and out of the shop. She found it quiet odd, but kept her silence, it was not her place to speak on the matter. Instead she turned to the others sitting with her and for the first time, spoke.
"So um... I went to my dorm earlier..." Her voice was rather soft, a sign of her shyness still had control of her, though a small accent could be heard from anyone. Faded though still apparent, her 'r's rolled slightly and a 'h' sound could be heard at times. "... and no one was there... I was wondering... if any of you are supposed to be in there..." Margret wasn't the only Eurpeaon present.
In truth, she was just making small talk, the silence was killing her, but she really did wonder whom she was supposed to be spending the school year with.

Margret smiled at the goings on. It seemed to her that maybe last year there had been something between Connor and Eliza, and maybe it would get restarted this year. She was a little surprised when Artimis got up and walked out, but Margret just shrugged it off.
When another girl spoke up about not knowing who her room mate was, Margret turned to her. "What room are you in, Hun? By the way, I don't think I caught your name."

Two minutes passed... "I'm so bored!" I force myself back up and looked around the bland room. Sure, it was fancy looking and stuff. But it was still missing what makes me. Getting up, I put my cloths in order and other minor personal items in place. Grabbing my sketch book, supplies, and map of the school area, I dumped everything into my velvet black and scarlet messenger bad and left out the building. "I need inspiration, something to make my dorm feel more... What's that word...? Ah, yes! Me!" I prance around abit, not seeing that anyone else was there. When I sight a person ahead of me, I stop prancing around and walked what most people consider as normally. "Let's see what's to do around here." Digging around my messenger bag, I take out the map and look around. Looking down and up the list of places to go, my eyes stopped on something that made my troat tighten with thirst. "A smoothie bar sounds good right about now. Yosh!"
After some amounts of time, I stopped at a pretty busy area. I walk over to the counter and looked up at there selections on the wall. "Hm, so many choices, so little stomach room to try." I whispered to my self. I glanced around and spotted a both cramped with people. Walking over, I smiled lightly and speak in a shy timid voice. Why? I don't know honestly. I always act so timidly in front of strangers... at least for most of them. "Excuse me, what would you recommend from here?"

Eliza smiled and nodded slightly as Connor and his cumbersome fingers made their way toward her phone number. She sipped her drink and thought for a moment before answering a question that Kat had asked awhile ago, and it got lost in their little conversation.
"So, this year I'm in Music and Journalism. Cheerleding will be big, and of course Key Club." Eliza, the "Key Recruiter" as they called her within the club. It made her feel a bit dorky when they attatched it to a nickname, but all the same, she is very spirited. She looked up as a fair-skinned, darked haired girl appproached their table, apperently new around the Centennial area. She smiled and looked at everyone crowded in their little corner. "Um, hey, pull up a chair! You go to Centennial, right?" That was pretty much a retorical question. If you were in this little strip, you were either from Centennial or a tourist visiting the little shops.

Leaning back into his chair again, Connor stretched his fingers for a few moments. Typing on that cell phone always made the joints in his hands feel stiff. Seeing a new girl and hearing Eliza answer a question that Connor had forgotten, Connor's eyebrows shot upward. "Hiya." All he offered was a greeting for the moment, since he really had no reccomendations. Black coffee wasn't often the best reccomendation, after all. Turning his attention forward once again, but not necessarily upon Eliza, he allowed his hands to rest comfortably upon his thighs. "I got Music and Psychology. It'll be nice to be back in football." An almost playful grin spread across his lips, as he could feel the thrill of tackling an opposing player already.

"Thanks for the offer." I replied back to the one who spoke. Looking around me, I see an empty chair and pulled it over and sat down. It was a pretty good distance away from them, but it didn't matter to me. "Yea, just transferred today." I answered. But why ask? Wasn't it pretty obvious? "Hi." I smiled shyly back at the guy. I listen to what he to said about his classes and went towards the back of my mind to remember what classes I had. After a while, I looked over to see what the group were drinking and just decided to get my self some hot chocolate.
I went and got my large hot chocolate and sat back at the seat I pulled out. It was kind of awkward for me. I mean. I don't know these people and they don't know me. I just sat quietly and sipped away at my chocolate delight. Ever so often, I lick the top of the cap so the whip cream wouldn't fall.

Adrian looked down at her drink, trying to remember her room number before looking back up to Margret and speaking once again in her shy accented voice.
"Um... number three..."
Just as she said this, Eliza spoke, not talking to anyone in particular and then suddenly, another girl came up to thier table, this time, NOT being asked to join by the ever gracious Conner. Adrian watched as the girl introduced herself slightly before moving to the counter.
Awkward... but okay...

Wow, Kat though it wasn't Conner who invited another person to the already crammed booth. Kat looked at the girl and sighed slightly then introduced herself, yet again. "Hi, I'm Kat, and this is Mouse." Again, Kat gestured to Mouse with her hand, and he gave it a lick. Kat sipped her drink and looked up at the new girl.
