Previous Owners: Tredes. Arei. The sword was once broken after its first creation. Tredes was one of the ones to recreate the sword which helped grant it the darkness that dwelled deep inside. Being attached to Arei helped bring out that natural darkness even further.

History: When Arei was still giving into her demonic origins her sword, Lexcanus, was not enough to do her bidding. So a great and powerful demon known as Tredes (Draco's father) gave Arei a pitch black blade. A blade that no light could penetrate, a blade that sought after blood more than anything.. one of the ultimate and untimely Living Blades, a blade that would mirror her craving to bring the world into total darkness. The sword's name was Nirideus, Consuming Darkness, for no light would ever shine on its shadowy depths... After Arei was reborn into a creature that no longer admired death in all its forms, when she became a guardian she cast the sword out, thinking she had destroyed it. Personality: At this point of his life... Kinael is a rather weather-worn war veteran. He is apathetic to most things in his life. His fervor and passion has been long lost, though in a deep part of himself is still there locked away. He is having a hard time being a part of society and therefore has distanced himself from most of the lions of the isle to be alone. A part of himself blames Arei for everything that has befallen him, and so he is having a very hard time getting along with females, especially those whom show power and individuality.
History:
Kinael is the son of Keirtah, a dragoness with half tainted blood, who also happened to be the half sister of the wife of the King. Keirtah left, leaving Kinael and his older brother to fend for themselves, Enkyir (the King) then took his two nephews in and raised them as his own knowing full well that the tainted blood they carried could hurt his kingdom and what he stood for.
Kinael was also half Kalibyn with the were-sides of a brown wolf and black panther. And so he was chosen to infiltrate the Cndra's hunt for the missing twins of Light and Dark (their leader's granddaughter and grandson), they also decided to find Te'ssara (Kinael's twin sister) and ask her to help.
While there Kinael found a certain female by the name of Arei. The two of them quickly became rivals in their camp, and it wasn't until some time later that that rivalry turned into friendship. Te'ssara also became friends with her. It was much to their dismay when they found out later that Arei was the missing Goddess of Darkness, the one the prophecies claimed would submerge their world in total darkness and chaos.
Kinael and Te'ssara, though proven that they were not the grandchildren, were promoted within the Cndra army because of their skills. Arei continued to become friends with them. However, neither one of them were prepared to realize how convincing and brainwashing Henion could be... and so while serving there to bring back information to their side of the war... they nearly forgot their allegiances...
