Hydra walked into the Hall slowly and sat at the end of the Slytherin table closest to the fire, isolating herself. But she ignored everyone else in the hall and watched the flames dance, a similie of her life.

Akio noticed her as soon as he entered the hall. Pssht, so she really means that much to Thade? Fine. He walked over to her and sat down. "I wanted to say I was sorry."

Hydra jumped in surprise as she heard a male voice, but smiled as she turned her head, expecting to see Kain. But her face fell as, instead, she saw Akio, looking pathetically like a puppy lost in a snowstorm. How could she have mistaken his voice for Kain's? But he did have a cuteness to him. Her mind skipped a rotation and she slinked blankly at him. "Hmm?" her face scrunched up slightly and then she remembered. "Oh! That. It's whatever," she said with a smile, strangely disassociating herself from the day before.

"Yeah...well. It seemed to upset Thade a lot. And Kain. Sorry if I ******** anything up. I didn't do it intentionally." He stared to fidget with his rings. He was feeling nervous, and he didn't know it. It was frustrating.

Hydra's eyes darted, against her will, to Kain, who she had distanced herself from, then back to Akio. She smiled, hiding. "Oh, no, everything's perfect actually." She noticed his twitch-like motions and smiled lightly. "I think that everyone's been a little over-reactive lately." She reached out and took his hands in hers softly, unrestricting. "You seem alright though," she mulled, her eyes deep.

Akio wrapped his arms around her and buried his head in her neck. He needed to be comforted. "You don't seem alright. You're usually with Kain, and now you feel guilty about looking at him." He gave a curt laugh and hugged her tighter. "To be honest...I was jealous of you. I mean...You were born this beautiful girl. Everyone fell for you in common room. Even Liem seemed to like you a little." He gave a shuddered sigh. "You shouldn't let those close to you get away. Especially someone you love so much."

She was a little shocked by his reactive touch, but she accepted it, letting herself sink into his arms, butter on toast. "First off, I'm not that beautiful. I'm not even a smidge like that. It's what everone else sees, and that's not my fault, my accomplishment, my prerogative, or my problem. Second, you have nothing to be jealous of; you seem to get along with whoever you want to get along with," she whispered softly into his ear with a slight smile. "And third, I don't fall in love."

"I don't really get along with a lot of people. Liems been my best friend my whole like, but his brother seems to hate me. Hana is a good friend, and so is Liem..but I want Thade. I don't know how to make him like me back. I've tried being nice, when other methods didn't work." He rubber back and played with her hair. "And I think you did fall in love. Otherwise you wouldn't deny it."

She let this truth bounce off of her like a rumor, but simply shook her head. "Thade? Thade is a whirlwind! I've had to many amazing and crazy times with him..." her sentence trailed off, but she regained her train of thought after a blank second. "Do you know anything about him?" she asked Akio, still quiet.

"He told me he stayed with Dragons. That's about all. He won't open up to me! I was just with him in the common room, he kissed me...then left. I don't understand. I don't particularly want to be used. At least...not anymore." His voice was muffled by the side of her neck.

Akio nodded. "Yeah...I didn't really care what I did when I was younger. So I kind of lent myself around. I would have boyfriends that would give me to their friends. I would have girlfriends that would do the same. A lot of stuff happened at home, when I was gone last year. I have a hard time understanding other people." He took her in closer.

She brought her head down to his shoulder, letting her lips rest softly against him. She felt safe, for the first time in a long time, and knew that this was not the moment to feel safe. Not with this crazy, insane boy who could very easily read her, and who could more easily spread all of her thoughts and fears around. "Well...I don't think that Thade's using you. If he is, I'll kill him personally, but Thade's...I don't know. For once, I don't know about him. But he's certainly confused. Hell, he wakes me up sometimes just to talk." She breathed out. "Most of the times it's about you." She wondered if he believed her.

"Yeah?" He rubbed her back, "What does he say?" He was curious, to say the least. He untied her hair and ran his fingers through the back of it, untangling any knots that were there.
