He smiles stretching his hind legs, hearing her. "Hello. Resting well?" He lays on his side, totally stretched out.

"Yeah." she said, stretching her legs out, accidently moving her hurt one and cringed "Owwww..." she clinched her teeth, sucking air through them and tightening her claws.

When he hears her in pain he sits up and checks on her leg. "Careful Rose. What can we do about your leg? Would hot or cold help?"

"I don't know." she said, still cringing "My dad would always take care of me when I was hurt." she looked down "If I remember correctly, I think cold helps swelling." she curled her tail in.

He nods trying to think of something cold to use. "I wish it were snowing outside..." He moves closer putting a paw around her shoulders gently trying to comfort her. "I'm here for you Rose. I'll think of something. I remember heat helped soothe pain, but we do need something cold."

Tears welded up in her eyes, the pain was getting bad. She laid her head down on his side, closing her eyes.

He moves down and tries licking her leg where she hurt it, trying his best to comfort her. After a minute or so he runs out and brings back ice from a river that was still partially frozen and lays it on the hurt area. "Found ice..." He holds her in his paws.

She looked up at him through her right eye "That feels much better, thank you." she smiled and laid her head back down. "I'm really lucky." her eyes shimmered as she thought.

He smiles and relaxes. "I'm glad. Your welcome Rose." He gently nuzzles her cheek then brings her over some meat. "Here..."

She looked up and saw the meat. She looked at him and rubbed her cheek against him then taking a bite of the meat.

He smiles when she rubs her cheek against his, then takes a bite as well, happy she seems comforted. He thinks to himself "I'm so glad I found her..."..

She licked her lips from her bite and looked around before taking another one. It tasted so good and it seemed like she hadn't eaten anything in forever.

He licks his lips then looks up seeing her look around. "There's plenty of meat. Just ask and I'll bring more over for you. I don't want you to push yourself."

She nodded at him "Thank you." she said and sunk her teeth into the peice infront of her, quickly finishing it off and licked her paws and cheeks.

He smiles finishing off his own chunk of meat, then offers her more. "Here you go Rose." He finishes and stretches his legs.
