Xavier said nothing for a moment. "A fool's heart is better than no heart at all." He patted the small girl's head with a gloved hand, and then stood again. He turned slightly to the elder woman. "Take care of her... Falina."
He stood and walked a few paces to where the guards stood. "A brilliant fool dares to venture where no fool has gone before, and refuses to follow the path set before him. That is how history is made."
He touched the closest guard's forehead. "Go home." And with a smoking silver light and a small whirlwind, one could only guess that was where he returned to... because no trace of him was left there.

Falina smiled. Perhaps all COULD be solved peacefully... The other Rishmans were looking around, confused, for their leader. He was probably just as confused, but back at the Volt Nursery, unharmed. This mission was working out ideally. The woman whispered to herself quietly, "I will, Xavier."
Rithey, clutching onto the intricate rose, rubbed her head. Xavier's not so scary after all, she thought, smiling up at him.

Avenger pulled his mask off, and removed his scarf. "well...I doubt I'l have anything to do here, and also I must go get my pets some rest. I guess I'll see you all around then..." he said, his face unnaturally peaceful. he whistled to Ravelt, and the three of them came to him. Avenger then looked towards Xavier. "keep that foolish heart of yours. never let it die..." he said before looking towards Falina. "as for you...take good care of the rat and the loudmouth..." and with that he turned, walking towards his home.

Xavier stared after Avenger with a stony look, before he teleported all but one of the guards away. With a hand, he whisked a large egg out of the air. The air shuddered as time was broken and mended again. He handed it to the main, and looked him straight in the eye. "Watch it with your life this time. If you don't, it will cost you your life."
And the guard vanished, with the egg in his tight clasp.
"Don't worry about where it was Xan. You'll find out soon enough from the cries of those who were supposed to be watching it." Xavier began to walk away again, this time not stopping as he called out so both masters could hear him. "I'd run from this place, if you wish to heed a warning. A Leviathan eager for blood is rising from the Lake that surrounds this city."
Xan called out instantly, but the god flicked and vanished. He growled. "Annoying..." he twitched, "good hearted scumbag." He rubbed his head, pale as a sheet. "I can't fight a 'Leviathan' by myself. Damn him for leaving."

Avenger turned around, confused. "leviathan? explain this to me..." he said to Xan. the word seemed familiar, yet strange and new to him. he was curious, as this creature sounded powerful.

Xan ran a hand through his straight locks of ebony and fire red hair. "Here, in Havaix, there is an old demon that used to terror people when it caught the scent of blood. They knew if died, because one day, it stopped. It was before the time of the guardians, but even now, his true name is feared. We call him Leviathan to calm some of the terror, but even that can not mask it.
"It is a creature that would sooner tear you apart than listen to you. It has never been defeated. Xavier leaving... put out another candle." He shivered. "I hate the fact that I need that scumbag, but he matches, sometimes exceeds me, in power, and mine is said to be limitless as a guardian. But I was born of the stars, and I'm not able to conjure enough magic to deal with this kind of thing... and destroying it... would go against the law of the guardians....
"It's coming now, for Xavier does not lie. If it was drawn by blood, we all must cower in its presence. We don't have much choice. Either we gather ourselves and fight together, or we herd the townsfolk out... and run."
[Professional bloggers officially have my respect. Though that took me not a minute to write... it was a lot of thoughts at once. X3]

Avenger nodded, and put his mask and scarf away. "I will fight then. along with my pets. I have no intention of running, especially from what sounds like a good fight." he said with a grin. "now...you cannot destroy it...but what if you weakened it and I destroyed it with my three pets? would that be possible?" he asked.

[hello! I'm back! ^w^ ]
Doro's ears pricked up and he listened intently. He'd heard about this "Leviathan" throughout his years in training. "What, you're telling me you've never heard of the Leviathan of Havaix before?", he asked Avenger, more inquisitive than mocking, although he knew that the pale man would still be irked at his question. "Rat", huh? I'd say "IDIOT" works best for YOU... he thought, but quickly shoved those thoughts away and attended to the matters ahead. "So it's finally awakened?" He asked, fearful. If this monster was truly active, it'd be a lot more serious a problem than anything he'd ever faced.
Rithey stared up, confused, and tugged on her owner's trailing coattail. "Mommy, I thought you said that the monster was only make-believe!" But, taking a hint from the conversations around her, she guessed that it was actually quite real.
"Don't worry honey," She said, patting Rithey's head, "We'll make sure everything works out."
[I'll add more later- I just want to beat Avenger to the post XD Aaand, I still lost XD So I'll add more now.]

Avenger ignored Doro's question, and looked at Falina. "are you fighting as well? If so then you may want to make sure those two are actually ready for such a fight..." he said, his eyes scarily calm.

She scoffed. "How like you to question MY pets' strength, when one of mine took two of yours out!" she chuckled- a high-pitched, almost malicious laugh, "Of COURSE they're ready!" Falina eyed Kratos, then added, "Although, I do believe that YOUR forces need a check for preparedness...."
Rithey bounced around, as filled with energy as ever. "I get to fight?! Oh boy!" She cheered, hopping around excitedly. She'd finally have a chance to show the stupid man that called her a "loudmouth" that she was tough! The little butterfly couldn't wait to see the look on his stupid, pale face when she beat up the big monster!
[ Please note that Rithey's section is told from her point of view, hence the "stupid' 's and such. And the talk about beating the Leviathan up. XD she's not ACTUALLY that strong XD ]

Avenger shook his head. "my pets were never intended to harm yours. remember that Ravelt himself could take out both the rat AND the annoying loudmouth..." he said, confident in his pets abilities.
Kratos looked at Avenger. "I'm ready to fight. I want to help Venix and ravelt too!" he said happily.
Avenger nodded. "of course. you can fight as well..."

[Sorry for the abscense you guys. You caught me right as I went to dinner.]
Xan scowled. "This is a place for none of you, but I can do nothing about whether you go or stay." he stared at the energetic little butterfly. "The monster could eat you in a bite, with no regard to your protests, little one."
He raised his hands over his head. "Very well. Are you sure you want to fight?"

Falina glared at him and hissed, "Whatever. I'd like to see your overgrown lizard even TRY to harm Doro!" and thought to herself, He sure does know how to piss me off! "And the little puppy there would get killed in an instant! How can you be so confidant when only a moment ago, you had no idea what the Leviathan was, you cocky, ignorant fool!" Then, turning to Xan, said, "I don't want Havaix to be destroyed. I'm fighting for my hometown, and you can't stop me."

Xan lowered his arms. "Watch your tone Falina. Xavier may have shown you kindness, but you're in no position to speak to a guardian like that. You have no idea of the danger that I've experienced. I've been ripped apart, and brought back from the brink of a spirit's encasement."
He snarled, his arms glowing with a reddish hue. "You will only know what you are fighting... until you fight it." He began stalking toward the edge of the city, part walking, part floating. Anticipation pulled at him from every angle.
A voice sighed. Fayt came out from a few paces behind them all. "He probably means to get himself killed protecting you idiots. He wants you to run away. In his eyes, any life is worth more than his. You have any remarkable ideas as to how to aid him, either of you?"

Avenger followed Xan. "I will fight, no matter how strong the creature is..." he said calmly. when he was so calm and collected, he was deep in thought, and that meant he knew that there was going to be some real trouble ahead.
