I was wondering if anyone was on Triliptal. I'm feeling dizzy and have a headache, but that might be because I'm discontinuing my anti-depressant. I'm discontinuing it because it was swinging me into hypo-mania. >.> It was a bit fun, but it was also scary...

Any side effects would be appreciated. Thanks!
oh man, yeah... trileptol messes you the ******** up. my friend mattt died this year, and i took my dose BEFORE a candle light thing we did at his house. i was literally falling on the ground. i couldn't walk, stand... it was ********. i think everyone knew about the meds, though, so i don't think my fear was realized, which was that everyone would think i got shitfaced before the thing to deal.

-Depakote (Been on it since 8th grade, having dosage lowered soon)
-Paxil (Since 7th grade, for depression.)
-Trileptal (Since freshman year)
-Seroquel (Since freshman year, currently being weened off)

I've been on Zyprexa, Ritalin, and quite a few other things I can't remember as well in the past.

My parents[More like my grandma, grandfather is the only stable one in this family] and I hateing my doctor for giving me the Prozac and Zoloft family type pills. Nearly commited suicide. It didn't help my Bi-polar and depression, just made it worse. Actualy, they were misdiagnosing me aswell. ******** and ADHD, jitters and breakdowns. Also for bi-polar but doesn't help much
and allergy meds for sleep and allergies. I haven't been put on alot seeing as I'm only 12, they might put me on Lithium as soon as I get older and mabey somthing for sleep other then abusing my allergy pills for both issues.

Fail
Does anyone know if a side effect of Abilify is nightmares? I never have nightmares, but I had 2 last night.

The side effect I got when I was on it was blurry vision. I seriously thought I was going to go blind.

Here's what I've been on:
Zyprexa
Depakote
Prozac
Abilify
Zoloft
(And I feel like I'm missing something.. but I don't remember.)

Heh. You responded to my post months ago on lamictil, and now I'm responding to this one. ...I don't know why I find that amusing/cool, though.

I'm on 150ml now. I think I should be on 175, though. And I agree with that statement, as I saw my doc today, and apparently I've got seasonal. >.< But I think I knew that already. Winter ******** SUCKS. ...The only ironic thing there, is that I always consider winter my favorite season. Go figure.

But that means more sunlight on my poor skin. Bah.

I got put on 10mg of Ritalin, too. ...Any comments on that? (Note: I generally have very few side effects)

Update: currently on:
Lamictil
Concerta
Ritalin

Lithium- 300 mg morning 900 mg at night
Synthroid- 25 mcg
Welbutrin- 150 mg
Trazadone 100 mg
Geodon- 60 mg twice a day
Lamictal 100 (not sure what that's in)

Am I only the only one that feels like everytime they see the psychiatrist everything gets increased?

I see abilify mentioned again. That stuff is horrible! O.O I got every symtom they said I wouldn't to the point I couldn't function.

...Probably mg, methinks.

And yes (even though I'm not on much), it feels like everything gets increased every time I go. ...I've got to talk to my doc about anxiety issues, too, so who knows what comes next.....

I was a total veggie on Seroquil, but my friend Patrick actually has had success with it....
PostPosted: Fri Jun 09, 2006 12:15 pm

I was absent minded and foggy headed on Seroquel, so I stopped taking it. I'm now on Resperitol(sp?), 1mg, for starters. It's not having much of an effect so far. Has anyone had success on this?

I saw a psych yesterday. I've got an official diagnosis- Bipolar Disorder.

Oh joy. stare

I just got diagnosed bipolar, after a few years of being on Lexapro and having it make my mood totally unbalanced (I was constantly irritated and prone to horrible episodes of unrelenting rage, just horrible over the top emotions). I've been taking Lithium for about four days now, I'm on a very low dose (like 300 mg) and I double it next week. So far I've just noticed the side effects (namely that large amounts of caffeine will make me sick). Hope it works for me, I have a lot of faith in it so I'm hoping the placebo effect will boost the effectiveness of the medication.

Also, it's the cheapest thing I can take and considering I can barely afford food at this point (this is not my computer, I do not have the internet in my apartment) that's a good thing. 60 capsules cost me only twenty bucks, so I'm willing to put up with the constant bloodwork (even though I have a phobia of getting blood drawn) just for that. Also, I've read about the other medications I can take (my psych doesn't want to put me on anti-psychotics because I have no psychotic symptoms) and the side effects really scare me. They seem a lot worse than the Lithium, the side effects of which are actually pretty minimal if you keep the proper diet.

Totally unrelated but
