Ruque nodded and smiled. He had been watching his mother very intently, and he had decided that stitches reminded him of sewing. Maybe he would have to learn that as well.

"Keep her warm, and make sure they're comfortable," he repeated. "Got it."

Once Niyana was finished with Idhril, Ruque wrapped his arms around his mother's leg and hugged her tightly. "You're so smart, Mama," he told her sincerely. "I want to be just like you someday."

The griffin smiled and clicked back at the dragon, cooing in the back of his throat as she came closer to him. He held out his arms, inviting her to come and sit with him, smiling warmly and reassuringly at her.

Niyana smiled and stroked her son's cheek shaking her head. "No dear...you will be better than me I know it my dear son." She smiled proudly. "Would you care to get her a fresh glass of water and I will go see if I can her family?"

She cleaned off her hands in the water and turned to head off in the direction that Joruri and Sehnin had gone off in.

The dragon laughed and crawled up into the gryphon's legs wrapping her arms around his chest. She leaned her head up to nipp at his hair and feathers before lowering her head to start cleaning his wings.

Ruque blushed at Niyana's compliment, but at her request he nodded and dashed off towards the stream to try to get some water for his aunt.

The griffin smiled and closed his eyes blissfully as the dragon began to groom his wings, and he slid his arms around her and rested them on the base of her tail, setting his chin on her shoulder.

Niyana walked off looking around for the angel and the young elf. She figured they could not be too far. But she promised Idhrl that she would wake up to her family.

The dragon smiled pressing closer to him so that she could really get at the feathers wanting to clean each of them and setting them right. her hands gripping his shoulders her lengs moving to spread over his so she could shifted a bit to go after the lower feathers.

Sehnin and Joruri were not far at all from the others. Sehnin had given up on finding blue flowers to go with her purple ones, and had finally decided that they would just have to bring twice as many purple ones as they had originally thought.

"Is this enough, Papa, do you think?" she asked Joruri, holding up as many violets as she could hold in her arms. Her eyes were wide and innocent, indigo at the moment, just like her father's.

The griffin grunted a little bit as the dragon sat closer on him, his cheeks flushing slightly at how close they were. Actually ... he felt like he was blushing all over ...

He wanted to help groom her the way she was grooming him, and he lifted one hand beneath her long, wavy hair and began to stroke her wings, getting the dust off of them - at least, that was what he thought, since she didn't have feathers like him.

Niyana could see the two now and she smiled, "Idhril is all done and ready for you two." she said softly. "She wanted you two to be the frist things she saw when she woke up."

Joruri nods, "yes my dear...Joruri think Idhril will love them." he turned hearing Niyana. "Yes ma'am" he said softly and smiling he reached over for his daughter and the flowers. "Shall we go back to Sehnin's mother now?"

The small dragon could not help herself as a moaned chirp slipped from her lips as the gryphon started to rub her wings. She felt so good at how gentle he was to her in even how gently he lifted her hair.

She giggled and her hands adjusted themselves over his shoulder rubbing them softly as her claws pulled softly on his clothes as she cleaned him. Though she slowly moved to clean the other wing keeping her body close to his.

Sehnin squealed happily and ran to her father so that he could pick her up and carry her back.

"Yay!" she cheered, giggling. "Mama's all right! I bet you did a real good job on her, Auntie! Because you're smart, just like Mama and Papa, and you're real nice too!"

The griffin smiled and continued to stroke her wings, nipping at her hair gently with his beak. He was going to groom her from head to toe, he decided - as soon as she was done with his wings and he could reach her from head to toe, that was.

Niyana shook her head. "No dear...I am not smart...I just know how to heal myself....I have had to do it most of my life." She said, "You have some beautiful flowers...I know your mother will love them." she said softly. She turned and started to walk away.

Joruri picked up Sehnin and held her close carrying her back towards the rest of their group. Needing to be with his mistress again though keeping that from his body and voice so that no one would know. "She came threw alright?"

The small dragon smiled cooeing softly as she worked. Clicking soft complements at his wings and skin. He was so beautiful surely he had to be a royal guardian. Warm and breed to be a house pet rather than an out door guard. She then turned to started preening his hair. Yes he had to be a royal one.

Sehnin blinked at Niyana, sensing an unvoiced hostility beneath her words of modesty and kindness. She looked at her father, her tiny brow furrowing slightly with worry.

"Is Auntie okay?" she asked him softly.

The griffin closed his eyes softly, his taloned fingers still gently stroking the dragon's wings, and as she started preening his hair he bent his knees, lifting her higher on his lap so that she wouldn't have to stretch her neck too far to reach. He chirped softly at her, still cooing in the back of his throat, and nuzzled his face against the tear in her tabard, unintentionally pulling it open a bit further.

Joruri nods, "Yes Joruri am sure she is....she just has allot to work threw." he smiled, "And Ihdril is going to be so happy to have Sehnin back."

Niyana nods, "You will not even see the scar...She is with her brother now. And waiting for you two." She nods, "Your father is right...I just have much on my mind."

The dragon gasped and giggled as she was lifted. Her chest heaves against his beak a bit as she purred and clicked softly. Her mouth worked gently to keep the horned like look to his hair cleaning and smoothing it perfectly.

The puff of his breath on the flesh of her chest caused her to pause a moment. She cooed softly to him and arched up against him simple breathing and sensations fueled her rougher skin. And her cheeks darkened without her knowing it.

"And Papa!" Sehnin added quickly, smiling warmly at her father. "She will be happy to have you too, Papa!"

She giggled and lay her head against Joruri's, looking over at Niyana as they walked. "If we can't even see where she was hurt, then you must have done a real good job of fixing her up!"

The griffin's coos grew slowly louder and more feline until he was almost purring, and he rubbed his head against the dragon's chest, his hands spreading across her back, pulling her closer to him.

Joruri nods, "Yes Sehnin Joruri will be sure that Idhril will be glad to see both of us." He could see them now so close to her. He wanted to just run over and throw his arms around his mate holding her closer and warmly to him.

Niyana nods, "Well thank you Sehnin. I am sure she will be glad to hear that." She nods and then looked over to the water and sighed. What were those two little creatures doing. She jogged over and reaching down pulled the dragon and gryphon apart. "You two are too young to be doing that...and in front of others too? How are you to be guardians for my son if your trying go make love so soon." She said in a harsh mother like tone.

The dragon gasped and burbled her happiness warmly. She was loving this. It felt almost as forbidden as it did right. She knew that now he was for sure meant to be in the houses wail she was a grounds dragon.

She squeaked out in shock as she was pulled from his lap and arms. She struggled a bit in the human's hands but soon just hung there listening to her. She chirped trying to say she understood and she was sorry.

Sehnin spotted her mother lying on the ground, and her eyes grew wide with awe.

"Was it a lot of work?" she started to ask Niyana - but then Niyana was gone, and she turned to Joruri instead. "Was it hard work, Papa? Mama's sleeping!"

The little griffin cried out as his companion was taken forcefully from him, but as Niyana lectured them his wings drooped and he lowered his head in shame, nodding even though he didn't quite understand what they had been doing that was so wrong. It had been a simple grooming ... at least, so he thought.

Joruri nods, "It must have been...also Joruri is sure Niyana put Idhril to sleep so she would not feel any pain." he smiled and walked over his eyes looking at the ground as he neared not wanting to look at Celebor for fear of being yelled at.

Niyana sighed and set the surprises down on the ground again. "I am sorry...it has....just been a rough time for me...but if your going to be touching each other like that please do it when no one is around okay?" She sighed, "Celebor I am going to go to the mountain I have something I wanted to talk to Armus about...Ruque you stay with your aunt and uncle and your new friends okay?"

The dragon as soon as she was put down moved to look over the gryphon being careful not to touch him for fear of being pulled away. This only made it more official they were different.

Celebor watched as Joruri and Sehnin approached. He could see that the doll was still afraid ... whether of him or something else, he wasn't sure. But the child ... she looked so much like both of her parents ... Idhril had been blessed indeed, and if the goddesses encouraged her mating with the doll, then who was he to say otherwise? He had been brought up to believe that the gods and goddesses knew what was best for their creations.

"Here, Joruri," he murmured softly, gently laying Idhril's head on the ground and rising to his feet. "Take care of her. She should be awake soon."

And then he headed over to join Niyana. "I'm coming with you," he told her quietly, reaching to take her hand in his own.

He had to talk with Ruran, and he knew that only she could keep him from losing his temper again.

The griffin curled up in a ball and tried to look as though he was going to fall asleep, but he kept one eye on his dragon companion, his look filled with longing and wistfulness. He didn't know what they had done that was so wrong ... but as soon as the two of them were alone again, he knew that they would be safe to try again.

Ruque nodded at his mother and looked at his uncle and his cousin.

"I'll be good," he promised, sitting next to the two guardian Seconds. "Don't worry."
